BRASS FITTING INSTALLATION GUIDE
Pipe Thread
1.
Apply either pipe joint compound or sealant tape to male threads.
2.
Put pipe fitting into female thread and tighten with a wrench.

2.
Coloca el acoplamiento de tubería dentro de la rosca hembra y ajusta con una llave.
Compression
*Use metal insert on any non-metallic tubing.
1.
Cut tubing square. Fit nut then ferrule onto tubing.
2.
Use Insert if needed, then insert tubing into fitting.
3.
Hand tighten, plus 1/4 turn with wrench until sealed. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
*Usa aditamentos de metal en las tuberías no metálicas.
1.
Corta el tubo a escuadra. Coloca la tuerca y la virola en el tubo.
2.
Usa el inserto si es necesario, luego inserta el tubo en el acoplamiento.

Flare
*For copper and aluminum tubing only.
1.
Fit nut on deburred tubing. Flare tubing using a flare tool.
2.
Hand tighten, plus 1/4 turn with wrench.

Ajusta la tuerca en la tubería sin rebaba. Expande la tubería con la herramienta correspondiente.
2.

Garden Hose
1.

1.
Put clamp or sleeve over tube.
2.
Fit tubing on barb and tighten clamp/sleeve.

Push-to-Connect
*No tools needed for install or removal.
*Use with soft plastic, nylon and metal tubing. Do not use with hard metal tubing.
INSTALL
1.
Trim tubing if needed. Make sure tubing is clean and has no jagged edges.
2.
Carefully push tubing into fitting until it stops at tube stop.
3.
Tug on fitting to make sure it is locked in place. Pressure test to check for leaks.
REMOVAL
1.
Depressurize system.
2.
Hold fitting and tube; push the fitting collar in towards fitting while pulling outward on tubing.
*No se necesitan herramientas para instalar o quitar.
*Usar con plástico blando, nylon y tubos de metal. No lo use con tubos de metal duro.
INSTALAR
1.
Recorte el tubo si es necesario. Asegúrese de que el tubo esté limpio y no tenga bordes dentados.
2.

1.
