El SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 permite ampliar el alcance de una red WLAN existente. La función WPS integrada permite conectarse cómodamente a una red WLAN con seguridad habilitada. Uso conforme a lo previsto Se trata de un aparato de ocio electrónico destinado a ampliar el alcance de una red WLAN existente y que solo debe emplearse para fines privados y no industriales, ni tampoco comerciales. Además, el aparato tampoco se puede utilizar fuera de recintos cerrados ni en regiones con clima tropical. Este aparato cumple con todas las normas y reglamentaciones relevantes de acuerdo con la conformidad CE. En caso de realizar algún cambio en el aparato sin haberlo acordado con el fabricante, el cumplimiento de estas normas dejará de estar garantizado. El fabricante no se hará responsable de los daños y averías derivados de este tipo de acciones. Puesto que la presencia de un modo en espera afectaría al uso conforme a lo previsto, dicha función no se ha implementado. Respete siempre la legislación y la normativa nacional del lugar de uso. Indicaciones de seguridad Antes de utilizar el aparato por primera vez, lea detenidamente las siguientes instrucciones, incluso si está familiarizado con el uso de aparatos electrónicos. Entorno de funcionamiento Este aparato no se ha diseñado para el uso en lugares con una temperatura o una humedad ambiente elevadas (p.ej. cuartos de baño) ni en espacios polvorientos. Temperatura y humedad ambiente de funcionamiento: 5 °C a 35 °C, humedad relativa máx. 85 %. Mantenga el aparato siempre a una distancia de mínimo, 20 cm de su cuerpo para evitar que le afecten las emisiones de radio. 4 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Preste atención a que  el aparato no se someta a una fuente de calor directa (p.ej. calefacción);  el aparato no se someta a la luz directa del sol o a una luz artificial muy intensa;  el aparato no se coloque en las proximidades inmediatas de un campo electromagnético (p.ej. unos altavoces);  no se coloquen llamas abiertas (p.ej. velas encendidas) encima o junto al aparato;  no entren cuerpos extraños en el aparato;  el aparato no entre en contacto con gotas o salpicaduras de agua ni otros líquidos agresivos y no se utilice cerca de lugares donde haya agua; en especial, queda prohibido sumergirlo (no coloque recipientes con agua encima o junto al aparato, tales como floreros o bebidas);  el aparato no se someta a variaciones bruscas de temperatura, puesto que, de lo contrario, la humedad del aire podría condensarse y provocar un cortocircuito;  el aparato no se exponga a sacudidas y vibraciones excesivas; Seguridad de funcionamiento  Conecte el repetidor WLAN únicamente a una toma de corriente de red situada en un lugar fácilmente accesible para poderlo separar rápidamente de la red eléctrica en caso de peligro (humo, olor a quemado).  Si no tiene previsto utilizar el repetidor WLAN durante un periodo prolongado (p.ej. si se va de vacaciones), desenchúfelo de la red eléctrica. Aunque no se utilizara, el aparato continuaría consumiendo electricidad. Además, de esta manera también se reducirá al mínimo el riesgo de incendio o fuego sin llama que existe siempre que se conecta un aparato eléctrico a la red eléctrica.  El repetidor WLAN también debe desenchufarse de la red eléctrica en caso de mal tiempo o tormenta con rayos, puesto que la caída de un rayo podría provocar una subida inadmisible de tensión y destruir el repetidor WLAN.  No utilice clavijas adaptadoras ni cables alargadores que estén dañados o que no cumplan las normas de seguridad en vigor. Cables Coja todos los cabes siempre por la clavija y no tire del propio cable. No coloque muebles ni otros objetos pesados encima de los cables y preste atención a que no se doblen, especialmente Español - 5 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 en la zona de la clavija y los zócalos de conexión. No haga nunca un nudo con el cable ni tampoco lo ate a otros cables. Coloque todos los cables de forma que nadie pueda pisarlos y que no representen un obstáculo. Niños y personas discapacitadas Los aparatos eléctricos no son para los niños. Asimismo, las personas discapacitadas solo deben utilizarlos con mucho cuidado. No permita que los niños ni las personas discapacitadas utilicen aparatos eléctricos sin vigilancia, puesto que no siempre son capaces de identificar los peligros potenciales. La ingestión de piezas pequeñas puede suponer peligro de muerte. Mantenga también los plásticos de embalaje fuera de su alcance. Existe peligro de asfixia. Interfaz inalámbrica No utilice este aparato en aviones, hospitales, quirófanos ni cerca de equipos médicos electrónicos. Las ondas de radio que transmite podrían afectar al funcionamiento de aparatos sensibles. Mantenga el aparato, como mínimo, a 20 cm de separación de marcapasos, ya que las ondas de radio podrían afectar al correcto funcionamiento del marcapasos. Las ondas de radio que transmite pueden provocar interferencias acústicas en los equipos de audición. No ponga el aparato con el componente inalámbrico activado cerca de gases inflamables o en entornos con riesgo de explosión (p.ej. un taller de pintura), puesto que las ondas de radio que transmite podrían provocar una explosión o un incendio. El alcance de las ondas de radio depende de las condiciones ambientales y del entorno. En el modo de tráfico inalámbrico de datos, existe riesgo de recepción de datos por parte de terceras personas sin autorización. Targa GmbH no se hace responsable de los problemas de transmisión y visualización derivados de la modificación del aparato sin autorización. Asimismo, Targa tampoco asume ningún tipo de responsabilidad de reemplazo o sustitución de los cables y aparatos que no hayan sido especificados por Targa GmbH. La reparación de averías provocadas por una modificación no autorizada, así como el reemplazo o sustitución de los aparatos afectados, son responsabilidad exclusiva del usuario. 6 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Almacenamiento cuando no se utilice Si no va a utilizar el repetidor WLAN durante mucho tiempo, desenchúfelo de la red eléctrica. Compruebe también que la temperatura de almacenamiento se mantenga entre -20 °C y 60 °C. La humedad ambiente no debe sobrepasar el 90% de humedad relativa. Nota: los rangos de temperatura y humedad relativa para el almacenamiento y el funcionamiento son muy diferentes, por lo que es obligatorio consultar las indicaciones del apartado "Entorno de funcionamiento". La ubicación óptima para el repetidor WLAN es a medio camino entre el enrutador y los aparatos WLAN que deben conectarse a la red inalámbrica a través del repetidor WLAN. Si no fuera posible montar el repetidor WLAN en ese punto, pruebe otras ubicaciones. El repetidor WLAN se puede configurar de dos maneras diferentes. Si el enrutador admite WPS, esta cómoda función puede utilizarse para realizar un ajuste sencillo. Para utilizar un enrutador sin función WPS, el repetidor WLAN se puede conectar al ordenador y configurar a través de una conexión LAN. Español - 7 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Configuración del repetidor WLAN con la función WPS Este es el modo más fácil de configurar del repetidor WLAN. Sin embargo, primero debe asegurarse de que el enrutador admita esta función. Consulte la documentación del enrutador. Pulse el botón WPS (5) del repetidor WLAN. El LED WPS (3) parpadeará durante aproximadamente 2 minutos. Dentro de este tiempo, active la función WPS del enrutador. El repetidor WLAN se conectará automáticamente al enrutador y cargará todos los ajustes. Después de esto, el repetidor WLAN ya está listo para utilizarse con la SSID y la contraseña del enrutador. En el modo WPS se activa por defecto el WDS (Wireless Distribution System), si es compatible con el enrutador. El WDS (Wireless Distribution System) permite conectar varios puntos de acceso inalámbricos entre sí para aumentar todavía más el área de cobertura de la red. Asimismo, también se pueden configurar varios repetidores uno tras otro. Si el enrutador no admite WPS, el repetidor WLAN también puede configurarse manualmente. Configuración manual del repetidor WLAN a través de la conexión LAN El repetidor WLAN también puede configurarse a través de un cable de red. Para ello, conecte el cable de red al puerto LAN (6) del repetidor WLAN. Conecte el otro lado del cable de red a un puerto LAN libre del ordenador. A continuación se explica cómo realizar la configuración con el sistema operativo Windows® 7. Si se utiliza otro sistema operativo, podrían existir diferencias en la configuración. Para poder establecer una conexión con el repetidor WLAN, el ordenador debe recibir la dirección IP automáticamente. Proceda de la siguiente forma:  Encienda el ordenador.  Haga clic en Inicio | Panel de control | Ver el estado y las tareas de red | Conexión LAN | Propiedades | Protocolo de Internet versión 4 (TCP/IPv4) | Propiedades.  Ahí, seleccione Obtener una dirección IP automáticamente y haga clic en Aceptar.  A continuación, cierre todas las ventanas. 8 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Abrir el menú de configuración A continuación se explica cómo realizar la configuración con el sistema operativo Windows® 7. Si se utiliza otro sistema operativo, podrían existir diferencias en la configuración. En primer lugar, abra el navegador de internet en el ordenador. En la barra de dirección del navegador, introduzca http://192.168.10.1 y luego pulse la tecla Intro para confirmar. Se abrirá la ventana al margen. Introduzca admin como nombre de usuario y contraseña y, acto seguido, haga clic en Aceptar. Se abrirá el menú de configuración del repetidor WLAN. Si no se abre la ventana de introducción del nombre de usuario y la contraseña, mantenga pulsado el botón de reposición (7) durante 10 segundos como mínimo y repita la operación descrita anteriormente. Ajuste del idioma de los menús Por defecto, los menús están en inglés. Para cambiar el idioma, proceda de la manera siguiente: Seleccione la ficha Management. En el campo Select Language, seleccione el idioma que quiera utilizar. Acto seguido, haga clic en Apply Settings para aplicar la opción seleccionada. Español - 9 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Configuración del modo WAP El modo WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) permite ampliar la red para que esté disponible en otro lugar. Para configurar el modo WAP, proceda de la siguiente manera:  Enchufe el repetidor WLAN a una toma de corriente adecuada.  Conecte el cable de red al puerto LAN (6) del repetidor WLAN. Para realizar la configuración, conecte el otro lado del cable de red a un puerto LAN libre del ordenador.  En la página de inicio del menú de configuración del repetidor WLAN, haga clic en Asistente y Modo seleccione continuación, WAP. A clic en haga Siguiente.  Aquí se puede definir la SSID (nombre de red) y el Modo de seguridad. seguridad, Modo de seleccione la En codificación que desee utilizar (WPA, WPA2 mixto). Si introduce la misma SSID del enrutador, tenga cuidado de que la codificación coincida con la del enrutador. 10 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1  Para guardar los ajustes, haga clic en Guardar.  El repetidor WLAN se encenderá y se podrá utilizar después de aproximadamente 30 segundos.  A continuación, desenchufe el cable de red del ordenador y conéctelo a un puerto LAN libre del enrutador.  El repetidor WLAN será accesible a través de la SSID que se le ha asignado. Español - 11 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Configuración del modo de repetidor inalámbrico El modo de repetidor inalámbrico permite ampliar el alcance de la red WLAN. Para configurar el modo de repetidor inalámbrico, proceda de la siguiente manera:  Enchufe el repetidor WLAN a una toma de corriente adecuada.  Conecte el cable de red al puerto LAN (6) del repetidor WLAN. Para realizar la configuración, conecte el otro lado del cable de red a un puerto LAN libre del ordenador.  En la página de inicio del menú de configuración del repetidor WLAN, haga clic en Asistente y seleccione Modo de repetidor inalámbrico. A continuación, haga clic en Siguiente.  Se abrirá una ventana con todas las redes WLAN disponibles. Seleccione la red cuyo alcance desea aumentar en la columna Seleccionar e introduzca la contraseña de la red seleccionada en Clave. Abra el menú de configuración para acceder a los ajustes avanzados. Consulte el capítulo "Abrir el menú de configuración". Página de inicio Estado Desde aquí puede consultarse el estado de la LAN, la red inalámbrica y el SSID del punto de acceso del repetidor. 14 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Asistente Se recomienda utilizar el asistente para realizar los ajustes. Haga clic en Siguiente para abrir el asistente. Encontrará más información en los capítulos "Configuración del modo WAP" y "Configuración del modo de repetidor inalámbrico". La columna "Ayuda" de la derecha suele contener ayuda sobre el tema correspondiente. Cerrar la sesión Haga clic en Cerrar sesión para salir del menú de configuración. Español - 15 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Red Ajustes LAN La sección "Ajustes LAN" permite guardar y modificar la dirección IP, la máscara de subred, la puerta de enlace y los ajustes DHCP. Para guardar los ajustes, haga clic en Aplicar ajustes. Si no quiere que se apliquen los ajustes, haga clic en Cancelar cambios. 16 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Inalámbrico Ajustes básicos Aquí se pueden configurar los ajustes básicos del modo inalámbrico. Si no quiere que se apliquen los ajustes, haga clic en Cancelar cambios. Español - 17 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Filtro MAC Aquí puede activarse un control de acceso para aumentar la seguridad de la red. Cuando el control de acceso está activado, únicamente se pueden conectar a su punto de acceso aquellos clientes cuyas direcciones MAC inalámbricas están incluidas en la lista del control de acceso. Para guardar los ajustes, haga clic en Aplicar ajustes. Si no quiere que se apliquen los ajustes, haga clic en Cancelar cambios. Ajustes avanzados Aquí se pueden configurar los ajustes avanzados del modo inalámbrico. Para guardar los ajustes, haga clic en Aplicar ajustes. Si no quiere que se apliquen los ajustes, haga clic en Cancelar cambios. 18 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 WDS El WDS (Wireless Distribution System) permite conectar varios puntos de acceso inalámbricos entre sí para aumentar todavía más el área de cobertura de la red. Para guardar los ajustes, haga clic en Aplicar ajustes. Si no quiere que se apliquen los ajustes, haga clic en Cancelar cambios. WPS El capítulo "Configuración del repetidor WLAN con la función WPS" contiene información sobre la configuración con la función WPS utilizando el botón WPS del aparato. Aquí se puede consultar y navegar por los ajustes. Para guardar los ajustes, haga clic en Aplicar ajustes. Si no quiere que se apliquen los ajustes, haga clic en Cancelar cambios. Español - 19 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Gestión Gestión del enrutador Aquí se puede configurar el acceso al servidor web del repetidor WLAN. Si no hay guardado ningún nombre de usuario y contraseña, el acceso se desactiva por motivos de seguridad. Además, también se puede cambiar el idioma del menú de configuración. Seleccione el idioma que quiera utilizar. Para guardar los ajustes, haga clic en Aplicar ajustes. Si no quiere que se apliquen los ajustes, haga clic en Cancelar cambios. Ajustes de fábrica Esta función permite restablecer el repetidor WLAN a los valores de fábrica. Para restablecer los ajustes, seleccione Sí en la opción "Restaurar ajustes de fábrica" y, acto seguido, haga clic en Aplicar ajustes para guardar esta configuración. 20 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Actualizar el firmware Para actualizar el firmware, primero haga clic en Examinar… y seleccione el archivo de firmware que desea ejecutar en el repetidor WLAN. Haga clic en Actualizar para iniciar la actualización del firmware. Copia de seguridad/Restaurar Esta función permite hacer una copia de seguridad de la configuración actual del repetidor WLAN o restablecer una configuración guardada previamente. En la "Ayuda" encontrará información detallada sobre este procedimiento. Español - 21 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Reiniciar Existen dos maneras de reiniciar el repetidor WLAN: Haga clic en Reiniciar para guardar primero toda la configuración y, acto seguido, reiniciar el repetidor WLAN con la configuración almacenada. Haga clic en Reiniciar enrutador para reiniciar el repetidor WLAN sin que primero se guarde la configuración. En este caso, se cargarán los últimos ajustes guardados. Estado Sistema Aquí puede consultarse el estado del sistema. 22 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 LAN Esta sección contiene información sobre los ajustes LAN y sobre los paquetes enviados y recibidos. Inalámbrico Aquí se muestra el estado del modo inalámbrico. Español - 23 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Solución de problemas El LED de alimentación (1) no se ilumina.  La toma de corriente está averiada o ha saltado un fusible; pruebe de enchufar otro aparato a la toma de corriente. No se abre el menú de configuración del repetidor LAN.  No se ha introducido correctamente la dirección IP http://192.168.10.1 en la barra de dirección del navegador de internet. Compruébela y corríjala.  El repetidor WLAN ya se ha configurado y utiliza otra dirección IP. Para poder establecer una conexión con el repetidor WLAN, debe corregirse la dirección IP del ordenador. Proceda de la siguiente forma:  Encienda el ordenador.  Haga clic en Inicio | Panel de control | Ver el estado y las tareas de red | Conexión LAN | Propiedades | Protocolo de Internet versión 4 (TCP/IPv4) | Propiedades.  Seleccione dirección Usar la IP introduzca e siguiente una dirección IP entre 192.168.10.100 y 192.168.10.200 (por ejemplo 192.168.10.101). Acto introduzca dirección la seguido, IP 255.255.255.0 en Máscara de subred y haga clic en Aceptar.  A continuación, cierre todas las ventanas.  El repetidor WLAN ya se ha configurado y utiliza otra dirección IP. Restablezca el repetidor WLAN al estado de entrega. Para ello, mantenga pulsado el botón de reposición (7) durante 10 segundos como mínimo, hasta que los LED se apaguen brevemente y se vuelvan a iluminar. 24 - Español SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 No se establece ninguna conexión WLAN entre el enrutador y el repetidor WLAN.  El repetidor WLAN está demasiado alejado del enrutador; póngalos más cerca.  La función WLAN del enrutador está desactivada; active la función WLAN.  El repetidor WLAN está mal configurado; repita la configuración, preferentemente utilizando la función WPS. No se puede establecer ninguna conexión WLAN entre el ordenador y el repetidor WLAN.  El ordenador está demasiado alejado del repetidor WLAN; póngalos más cerca.  La función WLAN del ordenador está desactivada; active la función WLAN. Mantenimiento y limpieza El mantenimiento engloba los trabajos necesarios cuando el aparato ha sufrido deterioro (p.ej. si la carcasa está dañada, ha penetrado líquido u objetos al interior del aparato o si se ha expuesto a la lluvia u otro tipo de humedad). Asimismo, el mantenimiento también es necesario si el aparato no funciona correctamente o si ha sufrido un fallo. Si detecta humo o ruidos u olores inusuales, desenchufe el aparato inmediatamente de la red eléctrica. En estos casos el aparato no se podrá volver a utilizar hasta que haya sido revisado por un técnico. Encargue los trabajos de mantenimiento solo a personal técnico cualificado. No abra nunca la carcasa del aparato. Si se abre la carcasa existe peligro de muerte a causa de una descarga eléctrica. Limpie el aparato únicamente con un paño limpio y seco y no utilice nunca líquidos agresivos. Español - 25 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Eliminación e información medioambiental Si el producto contiene el símbolo de un cubo de basura tachado, significa que está sujeto a la directiva europea 2002/96/EC. Todos los aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos usados deben eliminarse aparte de la basura doméstica en los centros municipales previstos para ello. Si elimina correctamente el aparato usado estará contribuyendo a reducir el impacto medioambiental y el peligro para la salud de las personas. Para obtener más información acerca de la eliminación de aparatos usados, consulte a la administración municipal, al departamento de eliminación de residuos o al comercio donde adquirió el producto. El embalaje también debe eliminarse respetando el medio ambiente. Los cartones deben depositarse en contenedores de papel o deben entregarse en centros de recogida públicos para garantizar su reutilización. Utilização de acordo com a finalidade prevista Este é um aparelho informático. O seu objectivo é aumentar o alcance da rede WLAN disponível. Além disso, certifique-se de que a temperatura de armazenamento se mantém entre -20 °C e 60 °C. A humidade do ar não pode exceder 90% de humidade relativa. Nota: os intervalos de temperatura e a humidade atmosférica relativa são bastante diferentes para o armazenamento e para a operação, sendo portanto necessário respeitar as indicações na secção "Ambiente de utilização". Experimente outros locais se o repetidor de WLAN não funcionar. Tem duas possibilidades de configuração do repetidor de WLAN. Se o seu router suportar WPS, pode utilizar esta conveniente função para uma configuração simples. Caso pretenda utilizar um router sem função WPS, pode ligar o repetidor de WLAN através de LAN ao seu computador e configurá-lo. Português - 33 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Configurar o repetidor de WLAN através da função WPS Esta é a forma mais simples de configurar o repetidor de WLAN. Primeiro, certifique-se de que o seu router suporta a função WPS. Para tal, consulte a documentação do seu router. Se for o caso, pressione simplesmente o botão WPS (5) no repetidor de WLAN. O LED WPS (3) pisca durante aproximadamente 2 minutos. Durante este tempo, active a função WPS no seu router. O repetidor de WLAN liga-se automaticamente ao seu router e assume a configuração completa. O repetidor de WLAN está pronto para ser utilizado. O repetidor de WLAN está agora disponível através do SSID e da palavra-passe do seu router. Em caso de WPS, o WDS (Wireless Distribution System) é activado por norma, desde que o router suporte esta função. Através de WDS (Wireless Distribution System), é possível interligar vários pontos de acesso sem fio, para conseguir assim uma maior cobertura de rede. É possível configurar vários repetidores. A configuração deve ser efectuada sucessivamente. Se o seu router não suportar WPS, pode configurar o repetidor de WLAN manualmente. Configurar manualmente o repetidor de WLAN através de uma ligação LAN Adicionalmente, pode também configurar o repetidor de WLAN através de um cabo de rede. Para tal, ligue o cabo de rede à ligação LAN (6) do repetidor de WLAN. Ligue a outra extremidade do cabo de rede a uma ligação LAN livre no seu computador. De seguida, é descrita uma configuração com Windows® 7. A configuração pode ser diferente em caso de outros sistemas operativos. Para poder estabelecer uma ligação ao repetidor de WLAN, o seu computador deve obter automaticamente o endereço IP. Para tal, proceda da seguinte forma:  Ligue o seu computador.  Clique em Iniciar | Painel de Controlo | Ver estado e tarefas da rede | Ligação de Área Local | Propriedades | Protocolo IP Versão 4 (TCP/IPv4) | Propriedades.  Seleccione aí Obter um endereço IP automaticamente e clique em OK.  Feche todas as janelas abertas. 34 - Português SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Abrir o menu de configuração De seguida, é descrita uma configuração com Windows® 7. A configuração pode ser diferente em caso de outros sistemas operativos. Abra o browser de Internet no seu computador. Na linha de endereço do browser de Internet introduza http://192.168.10.1 e confirme a entrada com a tecla Enter. Abre-se a janela ilustrada ao lado. Introduza aqui admin como nome de utilizador e palavra-passe e clique em OK. De seguida, abre-se o menu de configuração do repetidor de WLAN. Se a janela para a introdução do nome de utilizador e da palavra-passe não se abrir, mantenha o botão de reset (7) premido durante, pelo menos, 10 segundos e repita o procedimento anteriormente descrito. Definir o idioma do menu Por norma, o menu está configurado em Inglês. Proceda da seguinte forma para alterar o idioma do menu: Seleccione o separador Management. Seleccione agora o idioma pretendido em Select Language. De seguida, clique em Apply Settings para assumir a configuração. Português - 35 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Configurar o modo WAP Utilize o modo WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) para expandir a sua rede ou para a disponibilizar em outro local. O modo WAP deve ser configurado da seguinte forma:  Ligue o repetidor de WLAN a uma tomada adequada.  Ligue um cabo de rede à ligação LAN (6) do repetidor de WLAN. Ligue a outra extremidade do cabo de rede a uma ligação LAN livre no seu computador para fins de configuração.  Na Página inicial do menu de configuração do repetidor de WLAN, clique em Assistente e Modo seleccione WAP. De seguida, clique em Seguinte.  Aqui pode definir o SSID (nome de rede) e o Modo de segurança. Em Modo seleccione de a segurança encriptação pretendida (WPA, WPA2 ou modo misto WPA/WPA2). Depois da activação da encriptação, tem de introduzir a palavra-passe. Pode indicar o SSID do router e expandir assim a rede ou configurar um ponto de acesso independente. Ao indicar o SSID do router, certifique-se de que a encriptação corresponde à encriptação do router. 36 - Português SilverCrest SWR 300 A1  Clique em memorizar Guardar as para definições efectuadas.  O repetidor de WLAN é reiniciado. Aguarde aproximadamente 30 segundos até o repetidor de WLAN ficar novamente operacional.  De seguida, desligue o cabo de rede do seu computador e ligue-o a uma ligação LAN livre no seu router para fins de funcionamento.  O repetidor de WLAN está agora disponível através do SSID atribuído. Português - 37 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Configurar o modo de repetidor sem fios Utilize o modo de repetidor sem fios para aumentar o alcance da sua rede WLAN. O modo de repetidor sem fios deve ser configurado da seguinte forma:  Ligue o repetidor de WLAN a uma tomada adequada.  Ligue um cabo de rede à ligação LAN (6) do repetidor de WLAN. Ligue a outra extremidade do cabo de rede a uma ligação LAN livre no seu computador para fins de configuração.  Na Página inicial do menu de configuração do repetidor de WLAN, clique em Assistente e seleccione Modo de repetidor sem fios. Aguarde aproximadamente 30 segundos até o repetidor de WLAN ficar novamente operacional. Depois de ter efectuado a configuração através de um cabo de rede, pode remover o mesmo.  O repetidor de WLAN está agora disponível através do SSID seleccionado. Significados dos LED: LED Power (1) Este LED acende-se quando o aparelho está sob corrente. LED WLAN (2) Este LED acende-se de forma permanente em caso de uma ligação e pisca em caso de tráfego de dados. LED WPS (3) Este LED pisca depois de o botão WPS (5) ter sido premido e durante a tentativa de ligação (aproximadamente 2 minutos). LED LAN (4) Este LED acende-se de forma permanente em caso de uma ligação LAN e pisca em caso de tráfego de dados. WPS A configuração através de WPS por meio da tecla WPS no aparelho encontra-se descrita no capítulo "Configurar o repetidor de WLAN através da função WPS". Se não estiver memorizado nenhum nome de utilizador nem nenhuma palavra-passe, o acesso é desactivado por motivos de segurança. Além disso, pode alterar o idioma do menu de configuração. Predefinições Esta função destina-se a repor o estado original do repetidor de WLAN. Para repor as configurações, é necessário definir o ponto "Repor predefinições" para Sim e guardar clicando em Aplicar definições. 46 - Português SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Actualização do firmware Para realizar a actualização do firmware, clique primeiro em Procurar… para seleccionar um ficheiro de firmware no qual o repetidor de WLAN deve ser reproduzido. Clique em Actualizar para iniciar a actualização do firmware. Cópia de segurança/restaurar Esta função permite fazer uma cópia de segurança da configuração actual do repetidor de WLAN ou restaurar uma configuração guardada. Os detalhes do procedimento encontram-se descritos na secção "Ajuda". Português - 47 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Reiniciar Existem duas formas de reiniciar o repetidor de WLAN. Clique em Reiniciar para guardar primeiro a configuração antes de reiniciar o repetidor de WLAN com a configuração guardada. Clique em Reiniciar router para reiniciar o repetidor de WLAN sem guardar primeiro a configuração. São carregadas as últimas configurações guardadas. Estado Sistema Aqui, pode visualizar o estado do sistema. 48 - Português SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 LAN O estado LAN apresenta informações sobre as definições LAN e sobre os pacotes recebidos ou enviados. Operação sem fios Esta vista apresenta o estado da operação sem fios. Português - 49 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Resolução de problemas O LED Power (1) não se acende.  A tomada tem defeito ou o fusível disparou; verifique a tomada com outro aparelho. O menu de configuração do repetidor de WLAN não é apresentado.  O endereço IP http://192.168.10.1 foi introduzido incorrectamente na linha de endereço do browser de Internet; verifique e corrija a introdução.  O repetidor de WLAN já foi configurado e utiliza um outro endereço IP. Para poder estabelecer uma ligação ao repetidor de WLAN, tem de adaptar o endereço IP do seu computador. Para tal, proceda da seguinte forma:  Ligue o seu computador.  Clique em Iniciar | Painel de Controlo | Ver estado e tarefas da rede | Ligação de Área Local | Propriedades | Protocolo IP Versão 4 (TCP/IPv4) | Propriedades.  Seleccione agora Utilizar o seguinte endereço IP e introduza um endereço IP entre 192.168.10.100 e 192.168.10.200 (por exemplo, 192.168.10.101). Na Máscara de sub-rede, introduza o endereço IP 255.255.255.0 e clique em OK.  Feche todas as janelas abertas.  O repetidor de WLAN já foi configurado e utiliza um outro endereço IP. Reponha o estado original do repetidor de WLAN. Para tal, mantenha o botão de reset (7) premido durante, pelo menos, 10 segundos, até os LED se apagaram brevemente e voltarem a acender. 50 - Português SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Não é estabelecida nenhuma ligação WLAN entre o router e o repetidor de WLAN.  O repetidor de WLAN está demasiado afastado do router; diminua a distância.  A função WLAN do router está desactivada; active a função WLAN.  A configuração do repetidor de WLAN apresenta uma anomalia; repita a configuração, de preferência, com a função WPS. Não é estabelecida nenhuma ligação WLAN entre o computador e o repetidor de WLAN.  O computador está demasiado afastado do repetidor WLAN; diminua a distância.  A função WLAN do computador está desactivada; active a função WLAN. Manutenção/limpeza Os trabalhos de manutenção são necessários se o aparelho tiver sido danificado, por exemplo, se a caixa do aparelho estiver danificada, se tiverem entrado líquidos ou objectos no aparelho ou se este tiver sido exposto a chuva ou a humidade. Os trabalhos de manutenção também são necessários se o aparelho não funcionar correctamente ou se tiver caído. Caso verifique formação de fumo, ruídos ou cheiros estranhos, desligue imediatamente o aparelho da rede eléctrica. Only the user himself is responsible for the elimination of interference caused by such unauthorised changes and for the replacement or exchange of the devices. 58 - English SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Storage when not in use If the device will not be used for a long period of time, disconnect the wireless repeater from the mains power supply. Ensure that the storage temperature remains between -20 °C and 60 °C. The humidity should not exceed 90% rel. air humidity. Please note: the temperature range and relative air humidity for storage and use are quite different; please see the information in the "Operating environment" section. The optimal position for the wireless repeater is exactly in the middle between your router and the wireless devices which are to be connected to the network using the wireless repeater. Test other locations if the wireless repeater does not work there. There are two different ways to configure the wireless repeater. If your router supports WPS, you can use this simple function to easily install the wireless repeater. If you wish to use a router without a WPS function, you can connect the wireless repeater to your computer and configure it using a LAN connection. English - 59 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Configuring the wireless repeater with the WPS function This is the simplest way to configure the wireless repeater. First check if your router supports WPS. For further details, please read your router's user manual. Then simply press the WPS button (5) on the wireless repeater. The WPS LED (3) will now flash for approx. 2 minutes. During this period, please activate the WPS function on your router. The wireless repeater will automatically connect to your router and carry out the complete set-up. The wireless repeater can then be used. The wireless repeater can now be accessed using the SSID and password of your router. By using WPS, WDS (Wireless Distribution System) is activated as standard as long as this is supported by your router. Multiple Wireless Access Points can be connected together using WDS (Wireless Distribution System) in order to achieve larger network coverage. It is possible to configure multiple repeaters. These should be configured one after the other. If your router does not support WPS, you can also configure the wireless repeater manually. Configuring the wireless repeater manually using a LAN connection You can also configure the wireless repeater using a network cable. Connect the network cable to the LAN socket (6) of the wireless repeater. Insert the other end of the network cable into a free LAN socket on your computer. The following describes the set-up in Windows® 7. The settings in other operating systems may differ. To be able to establish a connection to the wireless repeater, your computer must automatically obtain the IP address. Proceed as follows:  Turn on your computer.  Click on Start | Control Panel | View network status and tasks | LAN connection | Properties | Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) | Properties.  Select Obtain an IP address automatically and click on OK.  Then close all opened windows. 60 - English SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Opening the configuration menu The following describes the set-up in Windows® 7. The settings in other operating systems may differ. Open the Internet browser on your computer. Enter http://192.168.10.1 in the address line of the Internet browser and confirm the entry with the Enter button. The following window will open. Enter admin as user name and password and then click on OK. The configuration menu of the wireless repeater will then open. If the user name and password window does not open hold down the reset button (7) for at least 10 seconds and repeat the procedure described above. Setting the menu language The default menu language is English. Proceed as follows to change the menu language: Select the Management tab. Select the desired language under Select Language. Finally click on Apply Settings to confirm the settings. English - 61 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Configuring WAP mode WAP mode (Wireless Application Protocol) is used to extend your network or to make your network available in another location. Set up WAP mode as follows:  Plug the wireless repeater into a suitable power socket.  Connect a network cable to the LAN socket (6) of the wireless repeater. Insert the other end of the network cable into a free LAN socket on your computer.  Click on Wizard on the Home page of the wireless repeater's configuration menu and select WAP mode. Then click on Next.  Here you can determine the SSID (network name) and the Security mode. In Security mode, select the desired form of encryption (WPA, WPA/WPA2 encryption WPA2 mixed). is or If the activated, the password must be entered. You can specify the SSID of the router and thereby extend the network or set-up an independent Access Point. When entering the router's SSID, ensure that this corresponds to the encryption of the router. 62 - English SilverCrest SWR 300 A1  Click on Save to save the settings entered.  The wireless repeater will then restart. Wait approx. 30 seconds, then the wireless repeater will be ready to use.  Disconnect the network cable from your computer and connect it to a free LAN port on your router.  The wireless repeater is now accessible using the assigned SSID. English - 63 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Configuring Wireless Repeater Mode Wireless Repeater Mode is used to extend the range of your wireless network. Set up Wireless Repeater Mode as follows:  Plug the wireless repeater into a suitable power socket.  Connect a network cable to the LAN socket (6) of the wireless repeater. Insert the other end of the network cable into a free LAN socket on your computer.  Click on Wizard on the Home page of the wireless repeater's configuration Wireless menu and Repeater select Mode. Then click on Next. A window with all available wireless networks will then open. Select the network whose range you wish to extend in the Select column and enter the password of the selected network in the Key column. Then click on Next.  Click on Next in the new window. 64 - English SilverCrest SWR 300 A1  Click on Save to save the settings entered.  The wireless repeater will then restart. Wait approx. 30 seconds, then the wireless repeater will be ready to use. If you carried out the configuration using a network cable, this can now be removed.  The wireless repeater is now accessible using the selected SSID. Meaning of the LEDs Power LED (1) This LED will light up if the device is drawing power. WLAN LED (2) This LED will permanently light up if there is a connection; the LED will flash on data transfer. WPS LED (3) If the WPS button (5) is pressed, this LED will flash for the period when a connection is sought (approx. 2 minutes). LAN LED (4) This LED will permanently light up if there is a LAN connection; the LED will flash on data transfer. When Access Control is activated, only clients whose wireless MAC addresses are entered in the Access Control list can connect to your access point. To save the settings, click on Apply Settings. If the settings are not to be applied, click on Discard Changes. Advanced Settings You can configure advanced settings for the wireless here. To save the settings, click on Apply Settings. WPS The configuration via WPS, using the WPS button on the device, is described in the section "Configuring the wireless repeater with the WPS function". If no user name or password is entered, the access is deactivated as a security precaution. You can also change the language of the configuration menu. To do so, select the desired language. To save the settings, click on Apply Settings. If the settings are not to be applied, click on Discard Changes. Factory settings This function restores the wireless repeater to its original condition. To reset the settings, you must set the item "Restore factory defaults" to Yes and save this setting by clicking on Apply Settings. 72 - English SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Firmware Upgrade To carry out a firmware upgrade, first click on Browse… to select a firmware file which is to be copied to the wireless repeater. Click on Upgrade to start the firmware upgrade. Backup/Restore With this function, you can back up the current configuration of the wireless repeater or restore a saved configuration. Click on Reboot so that the entire configuration is first saved before rebooting the wireless repeater with the saved configuration. English - 75 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Troubleshooting The Power LED (1) does not light up.  Socket defective or fuse tripped; check the socket with another device. The configuration menu of the wireless repeater is not shown.  The IP address http://192.168.10.1 was entered into the address line of the Internet browser incorrectly; check and correct the entry.  The wireless repeater has already been configured and is using another IP address. To be able to establish a connection to the wireless repeater, the IP address of your computer must be changed. Proceed as follows:  Turn on your computer.  Click on Start | Control Panel | View network status and tasks | LAN connection | Properties | Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) | Properties.  Now select Use the following IP address and enter an IP address between 192.168.10.100 192.168.10.200 (for and example, 192.168.10.101). Now enter the IP address 255.255.255.0 under Subnet Mask and click on OK.  Then close all opened windows.  The wireless repeater has already been configured and is using another IP address. Reset the wireless repeater to the factory default settings. Hold down the reset button (7) for at least 10 seconds until the LEDs briefly go out and then come on again. 76 - English SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 There is no wireless connection established between the router and the wireless repeater.  The wireless repeater is too far away from the router; reduce the distance.  The router's wireless function is deactivated; activate the wireless function.  The wireless repeater's configuration is incorrect; reconfigure the wireless repeater, preferably with the WPS function. No wireless connection can be established between the computer and the wireless repeater.  The computer is too far away from the wireless repeater; reduce the distance.  The computer's wireless function is deactivated; activate the wireless function. Cleaning / maintenance It is necessary to service the device if it has been damaged in any way, for example, if the housing is damaged, if liquid or objects have penetrated the device or if the product has been exposed to rain or moisture. Maintenance work is also necessary if the device is not working correctly or has been dropped. If smoke is produced, or there are any unusual sounds or smells, disconnect the device from the mains immediately. In such cases, the device should not be used until it has been inspected by authorised service personnel. Only let qualified personnel carry out the maintenance work on the device. Never open the housing of the device. There is the risk of a fatal electric shock when the housing is open. Only use a clean, dry cloth for cleaning and never use any corrosive liquids. Möchten Sie einen Router ohne WPS Funktion verwenden, können Sie den WLAN-Repeater per LAN mit Ihrem Computer verbinden und konfigurieren. Stellen Sie zuerst sicher, ob die WPS-Funktion von Ihrem Router unterstützt wird. Beachten Sie dazu die Dokumentation Ihres Routers. Drücken Sie dann einfach die WPS Taste (5) am WLAN-Repeater. Die WPS-LED (3) blinkt jetzt für ca. 2 Minuten. In dieser Zeit aktivieren Sie bitte die WPS Funktion an Ihrem Router. Der WLAN-Repeater verbindet sich nun automatisch mit Ihrem Router und übernimmt die kompletten Einstellungen. Sie können den WLAN-Repeater nun verwenden. Der WLAN-Repeater ist jetzt unter der SSID und Passwort Ihres Routers erreichbar. Bei WPS wird WDS (Wireless Distribution System) standardmäßig aktiviert, sofern der Router dies unterstützt. Durch WDS (Wireless Distribution System) können mehrere Wireless Access Points miteinander verbunden werden, um so eine größere Netzabdeckung zu erreichen. Es ist möglich, mehrere Repeater zu konfigurieren. Die Konfiguration ist nacheinander vorzunehmen. Wenn Ihr Router kein WPS unterstützt, können Sie den WLAN-Repeater auch manuell konfigurieren. WLAN-Repeater manuell per LAN-Verbindung konfigurieren Weiterhin können Sie den WLAN-Repeater auch per Netzwerkkabel konfigurieren. Verbinden Sie dazu das Netzwerkkabel mit dem LAN-Anschluss (6) des WLAN-Repeaters. Stecken Sie die andere Seite des Netzwerkkabels in einem freien LAN-Anschluss Ihres Computers. Im folgenden ist die Einrichtung unter Windows® 7 beschrieben. Die Einrichtung unter anderen Betriebssystemen kann abweichen. Um eine Verbindung zum WLAN-Repeater aufbauen zu können, muss Ihr Computer die IP-Adresse automatisch beziehen. Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:  Schalten Sie Ihren Computer ein.  Klicken Sie auf Start | Systemsteuerung | Netzwerkstatus und –aufgaben anzeigen | LAN-Verbindung | Eigenschaften | Internetprotokoll Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) | Eigenschaften.  Wählen Sie dort IP-Adresse automatisch beziehen und klicken Sie auf OK.  Schließen Sie nun alle geöffneten Fenster. 86 - Deutsch SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Konfigurationsmenü öffnen Im folgenden ist die Einrichtung unter Windows® 7 beschrieben. Die Einrichtung unter anderen Betriebssystemen kann abweichen. Starten Sie nun auf Ihrem Computer den Internet-Browser. Geben Sie in der Adresszeile des Internet-Browser http://192.168.10.1 ein und bestätigen Sie die Eingabe mit der Enter-Taste. Es öffnet sich das nebenstehende Fenster. Geben Sie hier als Benutzername und Passwort admin ein und klicken Sie anschließend auf OK. Es öffnet Konfigurationsmenü sich nun des das WLAN- Repeaters. Öffnet sich das Fenster zur Eingabe des Benutzername und Passwort nicht, halten Sie die Taste Reset (7) für mindestens 10 Sekunden gedrückt und wiederholen Sie die zuvor beschriebene Vorgehensweise. Menüsprache einstellen Standardmäßig ist die Menüsprache auf Englisch eingestellt. Gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um die Menüsprache zu ändern: Wählen Sie die Registerkarte Management aus. Wählen Sie nun bei Select Language die gewünschte Sprache aus. Klicken Sie anschließend auf Apply Settings, um die Einstellung zu übernehmen. Stecken Sie die andere Seite des Netzwerkkabels zur Konfiguration in einem freien LAN-Anschluss Ihres Computers.  Klicken Sie auf der Startseite im Konfigurationsmenü Repeaters des WLAN- Assistent auf und wählen Sie WAP-Modus aus. Drücken Sie anschließend auf Weiter.  Hier können Sie (Netzwerknamen) Sicherheitsmodus Wählen modus Sie die SSID und den festlegen. bei Sicherheits- die gewünschte Verschlüsselung (WPA, WPA2 oder WPA/WPA2-Mixed) aus. Wurde die Verschlüsselung aktiviert, muss das Passwort angegeben werden. Sie können die SSID des Routers angeben und damit das Netzwerk erweitern oder einen eigenständigen Access Point einrichten. Wenn Sie die SSID des Routers angeben, achten Sie 88 - Deutsch SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 darauf, dass die Verschlüsselung mit der des Routers übereinstimmt.  Klicken Sie auf Speichern, um die vorgenommenen Einstellungen zu speichern.  Der WLAN-Repeater wird nun neu gestartet. Warten Sie ca. 30 Sekunden, danach ist der WLAN-Repeater wieder betriebsbereit.  Trennen Sie nun das Netzwerkkabel von Ihrem Computer und schließen Sie es für den Betrieb an einen freien LAN-Anschluss Ihres Routers an.  Der WLAN-Repeater ist nun über die vergebene SSID erreichbar. Warten Sie ca. 30 Sekunden, danach ist der WLAN-Repeater wieder betriebsbereit. Haben Sie die Konfiguration über ein Netzwerkkabel vorgenommen, können Sie dies nun entfernen.  Der WLAN-Repeater ist nun über die gewählte SSID erreichbar. Bedeutung der LEDs: Power LED (1) Wird das Gerät mit Strom versorgt, leuchtet diese LED. WLAN LED (2) Besteht eine Verbindung, dann leuchtet diese LED dauerhaft; bei Datenverkehr blinkt die LED WPS LED (3) Wurde die WPS Taste (5) gedrückt, blinkt diese LED, solange der Verbindungsversuch läuft (ca. 2 Minuten). Deutsch - 97 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Verwaltung Router-Verwaltung Hier können Sie den Zugang zum Webserver des WLAN-Repeaters konfigurieren. Ist kein Benutzername und kein Kennwort hinterlegt, wird der Zugang sicherheitshalber deaktiviert. Zusätzlich können Sie die Sprache des Konfigurationsmenüs ändern. Wählen Sie dazu die gewünschte Sprache aus. Zum Speichern der Einstellungen klicken Sie auf Einstellungen übernehmen. Sollen die Einstellungen nicht übernommen werden, klicken Sie auf Änderungen verwerfen. Werkseinstellungen Diese Funktion dient zum Zurücksetzen des WLAN-Repeaters in den Auslieferungszustand. Um die Einstellungen zurückzusetzen, müssen Sie den Punkt „Werkseinstellungen wiederherstellen“ auf Ja setzen und diese Einstellung durch einen Klick auf Einstellungen übernehmen speichern. 98 - Deutsch SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Firmware-Upgrade Um ein Firmware-Upgrade durchzuführen, klicken Sie zuerst auf Durchsuchen…, um eine Firmwaredatei auszuwählen, die auf den WLAN-Repeater aufgespielt werden soll. Klicken Sie auf Upgrade, um das Firmwareupgrade zu starten. Sicherung/Wiederherstellung Mit dieser Funktion können Sie die aktuelle Konfiguration des WLAN-Repeaters sichern bzw. eine gespeicherte Konfiguration wiederherstellen. Die Vorgehensweise ist in der „Hilfe“ detailliert beschrieben. Deutsch - 99 SilverCrest SWR 300 A1 Neustart Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten den WLAN-Repeater neu zu starten. Klicken Sie auf Neustart, damit die gesamte Konfiguration zuerst gespeichert wird, bevor der WLAN-Repeater mit der gespeicherten Konfiguration neu gestartet wird. Klicken Sie auf Router-Neustart, wird der WLAN-Repeater neu gestartet, ohne dass die Konfiguration zuvor gespeichert wird. Es werden die zuletzt gespeicherten Einstellungen geladen. Um eine Verbindung zum WLAN-Repeater aufbauen zu können, müssen Sie die IP-Adresse Ihres Computers anpassen. Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:  Schalten Sie Ihren Computer ein.  Klicken Sie auf Start | Systemsteuerung | Netzwerkstatus und –aufgaben anzeigen | LAN-Verbindung | Eigenschaften | Internetprotokoll Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) | Eigenschaften.  Wählen Sie nun Folgende IPAdresse verwenden und geben Sie eine IP-Adresse zwischen 192.168.10.100 und 192.168.10.200 ein (zum Beispiel 192.168.10.101). Geben Sie nun bei Subnetzmaske die IP-Adresse 255.255.255.0 ein und klicken Sie auf OK.  Schließen Sie nun alle geöffneten Fenster.  Der WLAN-Repeater wurde bereits konfiguriert und verwendet eine andere IP-Adresse. Setzen Sie den WLAN-Repeater in den Auslieferungszustand zurück.
