This manual has been prepared to acquaint you with the proper installation,
operation and maintenance of your AM-12 Air Purifi er. We urge you to read
this publication carefully and to follow the recommendations to help assure
the most enjoyable and trouble free operation of your Amcor unit.
When it comes to service, remember that Amcor knows its product best.
Please do not attempt to open, repair and/or clean any of the internal parts
of the AM-12 Air Purifi er yourself. This could result in loss of the warranty.

Safety
• The AM-12 Air Purifi er is safe. It is listed by ETL and it has been
designed with special attention to safety. However, as with other
electrical appliances, use it with care.
• Do not clean the AM-12 Air Purifi er by spraying it or immersing it
in water.
• Do not insert any object into the openings of the AM-12 Air Purifi er.
• Disconnect the product from the electrical outlet before cleaning the unit
or any of its components.
• WHEN NOT IN USE STORE OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!
Warning
• Any service, other than regular cleaning or fi lter replacement should be
performed by an authorized service representative. Failure to do so could
result in loss of warranty.
Recommendations
• Do not locate the Air Purifi er where furniture or other objects can
obstruct the airfl ow.
• Follow the maintenance instructions in order to keep the
Dust Collector Plates clean.

How the Air Purifi er Works
The AM-12 mounts on the wall when it is plugged into a 120V outlet.
The unit operates as long as it is connected to power.
The night light is turned on and off with a switch on the right hand
side of the unit. Air enters at the top and bottom of the front grill
and exits at the center of the front grill.
The particles going into the AM-12 are charged with ions and then
are collected on the washable Dust Collector Plates.
Note that the Dust Collector Plate assembly must be completely
inserted into the AM-12 in order for the unit to function.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Always disconnect the unit from the electrical outlet prior
to cleaning or servicing the unit!
Note that the servicing intervals mentioned in this section are
based on air purifi er use of 24 hours a day (continuous operation)
in a normal household environment. If your use of the air purifi er
differs from that described above, then you can adjust the servicing
intervals accordingly.
1. Clean the outside of the AM-12 and the area around the air
purifi er with a soft damp cloth once every 2 weeks.
2. The Dust Collector Plate assembly is the part of the unit
that collects the dirt and needs to be cleaned periodically.
the Dust Collector Plate assembly is removed by pulling it
out the top of the unit. The stainless steel plates of the
Dust Collector Plate assembly should be washed in warm
soapy water once a month.
At the bottom of the Dust Collector Plate assembly is a fl exible
tab. This tab cleans the ionizing needles inside the unit when the
Dust Collector Plate assembly is removed from or inserted into
the AM-12.
Care should be taken not to damage the tab during the
cleaning operation.
Make sure that the Dust Collector Plate assembly is
completely dry before reinstalling it.

One Year Limited Warranty
Amcor, Inc. (“Amcor”) warrants the original retail purchaser (“Purchaser”) purchasing in the
United States that the Amcor product with which this warranty is enclosed is free from defects
in materials and workmanship.
Amcor’s sole obligation under this warranty is to replace, or at Amcor’s discretion, to repair,
free of charge, all defective parts, for a period of one (1) year from date of original purchase.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY IS SIMILARLY LIMITED TO ONE (1)
YEAR FROM DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE AND NO ACTION BASED UPON ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OTHERWISE MAY BE COMMENCED
AFTER EXPIRATION OF ONE (1) YEAR FROM DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limita-
tion may not apply to you.
The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any product which in Amcor’s judgment has
been (1) subject to misuse or neglect. (2) damaged in an accident. (3) used for a purpose for
which it was not designed, or (4) repaired or altered in any way that adversely affected its
performance or reliability.
To obtain warranty service, the defective product or part must be shipped or delivered to:
Amcor’s authorized service center. All postage, insurance and shipping charges are the respon-
sibility of the Purchaser and are not included in this warranty.
AMCOR NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY PERSON TO ASSUME FOR IT
ANY OTHER (LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH ITS PRODUCTS, THERE ARE NO
WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF.
NO RESPONSIBILITY IS ASSUMED FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
THAT MAY RESULT FROM THE USE OF AN AMCOR PRODUCT, NOR FOR THE DAMAGES
DUE TO ACCIDENT, ABUSE, LACK OF RESPONSIBLE CARE, THE AFFIXING OF ANY
UNAUTHORIZED ATTACHMENT, LOSS OF PARTS, OR USE AT A VOLTAGE OTHER THAN
SPECIFIED. Some states do not allow the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Amcor disclaims all liabilities for defects or damages caused by use of replacement parts ob-
tained from or by service at any service center other than Amcor’s authorized service center.
This warranty gives you specifi c legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from
state to state.

Cómo el purifi cador de aire trabaja
El AM-12 se sostiene en la pared cuando es tapado en una salida
120V. La unidad opera mientras este conectado para accionar

Limpiar y Conservación
Siempre desconecte la unidad de la salida eléctrica antes
de limpiar o atender a la unidad!
Note que los intervalos que atenden a mencionado en esta sección
son basados en el uso de purifi cador de aire de las 24 horas del día
(la operación continua) En un ambiente normal de la casa. Si su uso

1. Limpie el exterior del AM-12 y el área alrededor del purifi cador
de aire con un toalla suave húmeda una vez cada 2 semanas

periódicamente. La asamblea del plato del recaudador del Polvo
es removible quitandola por encima de la unidad. Los platos
inoxidables de acero de la asamblea del recaudador de Polvo
deben ser lavados en agua de jabón tibia una vez al mes.
En el fondo de la asamblea de Plato de Recaudador de Polvo hay
una etiqueta fl exible. Esta etiqueta limpia las agujas que ionizan
dentro de la unidad cuando la asamblea de Plato de Recaudador
de Polvo es quitada de o metido en el AM-12
El cuidado debe ser tomado para no dañar la etiqueta durante la
operación de limpieza.
Cerciórese que la asamblea de Plato de Recaudador de
Polvo este completamente seca antes de volver a instalarlo.

Garantía Limitada por Un Año
Amcor, Inc. (“Amcor”) garantiza al comprador original del producto (“Comprador”) que
lo compra en los Estados Unidos que el Producto Amcor con el que se incluye esta garantía
está libre de defectos en materiales y mano de obra.
La única obligación de Amcor bajo esta garantía es reemplazar, o a discreción de Amcor,
