1. When connecting the power

2. When using the refrigerator

Do not put any living animal in the

refrigerator.

Do not use the carbonated water. The gas

pressure may cause

leakage.

Do not use products such as grinding

sponge, brush, iron, or even special

products to clean stainless steel, soap

products such as alcohol, kerosene,

gasoline, wax, or solvent, or strong

chemicals such as chlorine, detergent, or

vinegar, for the purpose of gloss. These

products may damage the protective

lacquer, and

they may

cause risk or

stain on the

surface of the

refrigerator.

Clean the water tank according to the

instruction before using the Ice Maker.

Throw away the initial ice cubes. These may

be the ice made of the water contacted

parts before cleaning.

Throw away at least 30 ice cubes before

using it.

Avoid the contact of oil or fat on the plastic

parts. They may cause damage.

When the power cord is damaged, let a

technician to replace

it to remove the

danger of an

accident.

Do not apply oil in the door connection part

in any circumstances. It may cause damage

to the plastic

parts.

Do not lean on the doors. Hinges may

deregulate

INSTALLATION

THIS REFRIGERATOR IS MANUFACTURED WITH GREAT CARE, AND UTILIZES THE

LATEST IN TECHNOLOGY.

WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT YOU WILL BE FULLY SATISFIED WITH IT'S PERFORMANCE

AND RELIABILITY.

BEFORE YOU START YOUR REFRIGERATOR, PLEASE READ THIS BOOKLET CAREFULLY.

IT PROVIDES EXACT INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION, OPERATION AND

MAINTENANCE, AND ALSO SUPPLIES SOME USEFUL HINTS.

1. Clean your refrigerator thoroughly and wipe

off all dust accumulated during shipping.

2. Install accessories such as ice cube box, etc.,

in their proper places.They are packed

together to prevent possible damage during

shipment.

3. You have a model with bar-type handle,

assemble the handle according to instruction

card.

4. Connect the power supply cord (or plug) to

the outlet. Don't double up with other

appliances on the same outlet.

5. Prior to storing food, leave your refrigerator

on for 2 or 3 hours.

Check the flow of cold air in the freezer

compartment to ensure proper cooling.

Your refrigerator is now ready for use.

1. Select a good location.

Place your refrigerator where it is easy to

use.

2. After placing the refrigerator in the definitive

location, wait at least 30 minutes to connect it

to the power supply, so the fluid from the

compressor back to normal after

transportation.

3 Avoid placing the unit near heat sources,

direct sunlight or moisture.

4. To ensure proper air circulation around the

fridge -freezer, please maintain sufficient

space on both the sides as well as top and

maintain at least 2 inches (5 cm) from the

rear wall.

5. Don't install this appliance below 5 °C. It may

cause the debasement of the refrigerator.

6. To avoid vibrations, the unit must be level.

If required, adjust the leveling screws to

compensate for unevenness of the floor.

The front should be slightly higher than the

rear to aid in door closing.

Leveling screws can be turned easily by

tipping the cabinet slightly.

Turn the leveling screws clockwise( ) to

raise the unit, counterclockwise( ) to

lower it.

OPERATIONS

STARTING

When your refrigerator is first installed, allow it 2-3 hours to stabilize at normal operating temperatures

prior to filling it with fresh or frozen foods.

If operation is interrupted, wait 5 minutes before restarting.

BEFORE SETTING THE TEMPERATURE

The temperature of the refrigerator is kept constant regardless of changes in room temperature.

It is recommended that, once set, the temperature settings(the controls for the refrigerator and

freezer compartments) not be changed unless necessary.

This refrigerator has one temperature control button for the refrigerator compartment and one

temperature control dial for the freezer compartment.

The default setting of the temperature control button for the refrigerator compartment is ‘3°C’.

The default setting of the temperature control dial for the freezer compartment is '5'.

This refrigerator has a temperature sensor in the refrigerator compartment. It will start and stop the

compressor automatically as needed.

SELF TEST

Your refrigerator contains a built in diagnostic capability. If it develops a malfunction in certain areas, it will

display an error code to assist the repair technician. While an error code is displayed, other control and

display functions will not operate.

If an error code is displayed, contact a service center. Do not disconnect the power cord from the outlet.

CONTROLS FOR REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT

Press 'REFRIGERATOR' button to control

refrigerator temperature.

Whenever pressing the button, the LED

emits light.

The number showing up on the LED

luminesce indicate the temperature of refrigerator compartment.

You can select the desired setting point seven steps, from '0°C' to '6°C'.

- Press

button, Refrigerator temperature will be down each 1°C.

- Press button, Refrigerator temperature will be up each 1°C.

DOOR ALARM

When the door of the refrigerator or the freezer is open for 1 minute, an alarm will sound three times.

It the door remains open, the alarm will repeat every 30 seconds.

FAST FREEZING

CHILD LOCK

CONTROLS FOR FREEZER COMPARTMENT

The FAST FREEZING feature operates

when the refrigerator is first turned on.

The compressor and circulating fan

operate at maximum cooling capacity to

quickly lower the refrigerator temperature.

It shuts off automatically.

If warm food is placed into the refrigerator, FAST FREEZING can be started with the button on the control

panel.

FAST FREEZING will shut off when the temperature reaches the proper level or it can be shut off manually

by pressing the FAST FREEZING button.

To lower the temperature in the freezer, turn the knob right

and set to a higher number.

To raise the temperature in the freezer, turn the knob left and

set to a smaller number.

Over freezing at is a function that maintain a low

temperature in the freezer. But, Refrigerator's cooling speed

will be slowed down. Once using

level, return the knob to

recommended position in normal time.

CHILD LOCK

Press and hold the CHILD LOCK button

for 3 seconds to lock the child lock.

When it is locked, the Lock LED will be

on and the other button will not operate.

To unlock, press and hold the

CHILD LOCK button for 3 seconds

again.

HOME BAR (GR-S632GSR)

How to Use Home Bar

Press the button on the left in the center of Home

Bar until “Click” sounds.

Home Bar became larger to store more contents.

Food can be stored systematically with many

storage spaces inside Home Bar.

Do not use the button when closing Home Bar.

When closing Home Bar, press Home Bar firmly

until you hear the sound.

Store food to be taken out frequently.

Electricity is saved with no need to open the door.

LED lamp is lighted when Home Bar door is open

to easily take out the contents.

When closing, also press until “Click” sounds.

Do not cling to Home Bar for safety reasons.

After pulling upward to separate the curve above Home Bar,

Press until

1. Lift basket from the rack. 2. Flip it 90 degree toward front.

3. Detach one side first and another.

detach.

ICE MAKING

Twisting Ice Serve Type

To make ice cubes, fill the ice tray with water

and insert in its position.

To remove ice cubes, hold the lever of the tray

and pull turn gently. Then, ice cubes drop in to

the ice cube box.

You can disassemble the Ice Maker

to secure space in the freezer.

• Twisting Ice Serve Type: Remove 1 and 2.

FAST FREEZING ZONE

It is space that can freeze the product fast.

If it is used for general usages, use it

after lifting and pushing, or removing

flap-up cover.

VEGETABLE DRAWER

Inserted Vegetable Drawer must be placed at its position. If door is opened, it can’t fill the role of it.

REFRESHMENT CENTER

1. Tilting: Grasp the front pocket and slightly lift it up.

Then pull it forward to tilt the transparent door bin.

2. Closing: Then place the door bin in its original position

until you hear a "click"

• Fix the partitioner by inserting it at the rear side of vegetable box as shown in the figure.

How to use

• Vegetable drawer can be used through the control of knob.

• Check the position of knob prior to store the food.

• Do not locate the knob on the middle point.

OPERATIONS

WATER DISPENSER (GR-S632GSZ)

• Put water after the water tank being in position. Necessarily separate the water tank to

clean it or not to use it.

• When the water tank is not in position after filling it with water, water can leak out by the

valve pushed.

Putting water in the water tank

1. Open the cover cap and pour water into the

water tank.

2. Close the cover cap.

1. Press the dispenser pad with cup.

The water is released when the dispenser pad is

pressed. The pad returns to its original position when

the cup is removed and the water stops its flow.

Disassembly

Lift the water tank, gripping a side and bottom of water

tank.

Note: When disassemble Water Tank, use all water

inside dispenser first.

Assembly

If by some cause removes the water tank, place again the

water tank on its original position. Verify that the valve

assembly correctly in the hole of the door. Once

assembled push down and check the tank position with

line.

Drinking

CAUTION

Do not use anything other than water including.

Hot water needs to be cooled before being put in the water tank.

SUGGESTIONS ON FOOD STORAGE

STORING FOOD

Store fresh food in the refrigerator compartment. How food is frozen and thawed is an important

factor in maintaining its freshness and flavor.

Do not store food which goes bad easily at low temperatures, such as bananas, pineapples, and

melons.

Allow hot food to cool prior to storing. Placing hot food in the refrigerator could spoil other food, and

lead to higher electric bills!

When storing the food, cover it with vinyl wrap or store in a container with a lid. This prevents

moisture from evaporating, and helps food to keep its taste and nutrients.

Do not block air vents with food. Smooth circulation of chilled air keeps refrigerator temperatures even.

Do not open the door frequently. Opening the door lets warm air enter the refrigerator, and cause

temperatures to rise.

REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT

Avoid placing moist food on deep interior refrigerator

shelves, it could freeze upon direct contact with chilled

air. To avoid this it is better to store food in the covered

container.

It is desirable to store moist food (especially vegetable

and fruit) in the vegetable storage compartment. If it is

necessary to store on a shelf of the refrigerator, put it

close to the door away from the back wall of the refrigerator to avoid being frozen by the cool

circulating in the refrigerator.

Always clean food prior to refrigeration. Vegetables and fruits should be washed and wiped, and

packed food should be wiped clean, to prevent adjacent food from spoiling.

When storing eggs in their storage rack, ensure that they are fresh, and always store them in a upright

position, which keeps them fresh longer.

FREEZER COMPARTMENT

Do not store bottles in the freezer compartment - they may break when frozen.

Do not refreeze food that has been thawed. This causes loss of taste and nutrition.

When storing frozen food like ice cream for a long period, place it on the freezer shelf, not in the door rack

CLEANING

It is important that you refrigerator be kept clean to

prevent undesirable odors. Spilled food should be

wipe up immediately, since it may acidify and stain

plastic surfaces if allowed to settle.

Never use metallic scouring pads, brushes, coarse

abrasive cleaners or strong alkaline solutions on

any surface.

Before you clean, however, remember that damp

objects will stick or adhere to extremely cold

surfaces. Do not touch frozen surfaces with wet or

damp hands.

EXTERIOR -

Use a lukewarm solution of mild soap

or dish washable solution to clean the durable

finish of your refrigerator. Wipe with a clean, damp

cloth and then dry.

INTERIOR - Regular cleaning of the interior and

interior parts is recommended. Use a lukewarm

VACATION TIME

During average length vacations, you will probably

find it best to leave the refrigerator in operation.

Place freezable items in freezer for longer life.

When you plan to be away for an extended period,

remove all food, disconnect the power cord, clean

the interior thoroughly, and leave each door OPEN

to prevent odor formation.

POWER FAILURE

Most power failures are corrected in an hour or two

and will not affect your refrigerator temperatures.

However, you should minimize the number of door

openings while the power is off. During power

failures of longer duration, place a block of dry ice on

top of your frozen packages.

IF YOU MOVE

Remove or securely fasten down all loose items

inside the refrigerator.

To avoid damaging the leveling screw(s), turn them

all the way into the base.

ANTI-CONDENSATION PIPE

The outside wall of the refrigerator cabinet may

sometimes get warm, especially just after

installation.

Don't be alarmed.

This is due to the anti-

condensation pipe, which

EN ÉL SE PROPORCIONAN LAS INSTRUCCIONES EXACTAS PARA SU INSTALACIÓN,

1. Limpie el polvo acumulado durante el

transporte y la totalidad del refrigerador.

2. Instale los accesorios, como la cubitera, la

bandeja de evaporación, etc., en los lugares

apropiados. Se han empaquetado juntos

dentro del mismo embalaje para evitar

posibles daños durante el transporte.

3. Conecte el cable de alimentación(o enchufe)

a la toma de la corriente. No enchufe más de

un aparato en la misma toma.

flujo de aire frío dentro del compartimiento

A CONTINUACIÓN

1. Seleccione una ubicación adecuada.

Coloque el refrigerador en un lugar de fácil

acceso.

2. Tras haber situado la nevera en su ubicación

definitiva, espere al menos 30 minutos antes

de conectar la alimentación, para que el

fluido del compresor vuelva a su estado

normal tras el transporte.

3 No sitúe el refrigerador cerca de fuentes de

calor ni lo exponga a la luz solar directa o a la

humedad.

4. Para asegurar la correcta circulación del aire

alrededor del refrigerador/congelador,

mantenga el espacio libre suficiente en

ambos lados, así como en la parte

superior, y mantenga la unidad a al

menos 2 pulgadas (5 cm) de la pared

posterior.

5. No instale el refrigerador en el lugar, donda la

temperatura puede ser menos que 5 grados.

INICIO

Cuando su refrigerador esté recién instalado, concédale de 2-3 horas para estabilizarse a las

temperaturas de funcionamiento normales antes de llenarlo con alimentos frescos o congelados.

Si se interrumpiera el funcionamiento, espere 5 minutos antes de volver a iniciarlo.

ANTES DE CONFIGURAR LA TEMPERATURA

La temperatura del refrigerador se mantendrá siempre constante independientemente de los cambios en

la temperatura ambiente. Recomendamos que, una vez fijados, no cambie los ajustes de temperatura

(los controles de los compartimientos del refrigerador y congelador) a menos que sea necesario.

Este refrigerador tiene un botón de control de temperatura para el compartimiento y un dial de control de

temperatura para el compartimiento del congelador.

La configuración por defecto del botón de control de temperatura del compartimiento del refrigerador es

‘3°C’.

La configuración por defecto del dial de control de temperatura del compartimiento del congelador es ‘5’.

Este refrigerador cuenta con un sensor de temperatura en el compartimiento del alimentos. Iniciará y

cesará automáticamente el funcionamiento del compresor según resulte necesario.

AUTO-COMPROBACIÓN

Su refrigerador tiene incorporada una capacidad de diagnóstico. Si desarrollara un malfuncionamiento en

ciertas áreas, mostrará un código de error para ayudar al técnico de reparación. Mientras exhiba un código

de error, las demás funciones de control y visualización no funcionarán.

Si muestra un código de error, póngase en contacto con un Centro de servicio. No desconecte el cable de

alimentación del enchufe.

CONTROLES DEL COMPARTIMIENTO DEL REFRIGERADOR

Pulse el botón “REFRIGERADOR” para

ajustar la temperatura del refrigerador.

En cuanto pulse el botón, el LED se

La CONGELACIÓN RÁPIDA funciona

cuando se enciende el refrigerador por

primera vez. El compresor y el ventilador

funcionan a su máxima capacidad para

bajar rápidamente la temperatura del

refrigerador. Se apaga automáticamente.

Si se introducen alimentos calientes en el refrigerador, puede activar la CONGELACIÓN RÁPIDA con el

botón del panel de control.

La CONGELACIÓN RÁPIDA se apagará cuando la temperatura alcance el nivel apropiado o se puede

apagar manualmente pulse el botón FAST FREEZING (congelación rápida).

Para bajar la temperatura del congelador, gire el botón a la

derecha y seleccione un número más alto.

Para subir la temperatura del congelador, gire el botón a la

izquierda y seleccione un número más bajo.

Sobre congelar a es una función que mantiene baja la

temperatura en el congelador. Pero, la velocidad de

refrigerado de la nevera se ralentizará. Una vez utilizado el

nivel

, gire el botón hacia la posición recomendada en

tiempo normal.

CIERRE A PRUEBA DE NIÑOS

Mantenga presionado el botón CHILD

LOCK durante 3 segundos para activar

el cierre a prueba de niños. Una vez

bloqueado, el ‘LOCK LED’ será

No utilice el botón cuando cierre el Home Bar.

Para cerrar el Home Bar, presione la puerta con

DISPENSADOR DE AGUA (GR-S632GSZ)

• Llénelo de agua una vez que el depóstio esté en su posición correcta.

Para limpiarlo o si no lo va a utilizar, retírelo.

• Cuando el depósito del agua no esté en su posición tras rellenarlo con agua, ésta se

puede filtrar al purgar la válvula.

Llenar el depósito de agua

1. Abra el tapón de la cubierta y llene el depósito de

agua.

2. Cierre la cubierta superior.

1. Pulse este dispositivo, ejerciendo presión con el

vaso.

2. El agua sale mientras lo mantiene apretado.

Éste vuelve a su posición inicial cuando retira el

vaso y el agua deja de salir.

Desmontaje

Levante el depósito de agua, sujetando un lado y la parte

inferior del depósito.

Nota: Cuando desmonte el depósito de agua, utilice toda

el agua del interior del dispensador en primer lugar.

Montaje

Si ha tenido que retirar el depósito de agua, colóquelo de

nuevo en su posición original. Compruebe que el

conjunto de la válvula se ha colocado correctamente en el

orificio de la puerta. Una vez montado, presione hacia

abajo y compruebe la posición del depósito con la línea.

ALMACENAMIENTO DE ALIMENTOS

Guarde los alimentos frescos en el compartimiento del refrigerador. El modo de congelación y

descongelación es un factor importante para mantener la frescura y el sabor.

No almacene alimentos que se descompongan fácilmente a bajas temperaturas, como pueden ser

plátanos, piñas y melón.

Deje enfriar la comida antes de guardarla. Si se introduce comida caliente en el refrigerador, podrían

estropearse otros alimentos cercanos y hacer subir la factura del consumo eléctrico.

Cuando almacene alimentos, cúbralos con una envoltura de vinilo o guárdelos en un contenedor con tapa.

Esto evitará que se evapore la humedad y contribuirá a que los alimentos mantengan su sabor y sus

componentes nutritivos.

No bloquee los respiraderos con alimentos. La circulación adecuada del aire frío mantiene uniformes las

temperaturas del refrigerador.

No abra la puerta con frecuencia. Esto deja entrar aire caliente en el refrigerador y hace que las

COMPARTIMIENTO DE ALIMENTOS

Evite colocar alimentos con un elevado grado de humedad en

la parte trasera de los estantes del refrigerador. Podrían

congelarse al entrar en contacto directo con el aire frío.

Es conveniente almacenar los alimentos húmedos

(especialmente los vegetales y frutas) dentro del

compartimiento de almacenamiento de vegetales. Si se

requiere ser almacenado fuera del compartimiento, colocarlo

cerca de la puerta, lejos de la pared del refrigerador para evitar que sean congelados por la circulación de

enfriamiento del refrigerador.

Limpie siempre los alimentos antes de su refrigeración. Las frutas y verduras deberán lavarse y escurrirse

y los alimentos empaquetados deberán secarse para evitar salpicaduras a los alimentos adyacentes.

Cuando guarde huevos en sus bandejas de almacenamiento, asegúrese de que sean frescos y
