INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES.
- Lea todas las instrucciones cuidadosamente.
- Asegúrese que el voltaje del aparato es el mismo al voltaje de su casa (220V).
- Nunca enchufar el aparato sin el bowl de cocinado dentro.
- No toque las superficies calientes. Utilice asas.
- Nunca sumerja el cable, enchufe ni la arrocera (placa calentamiento) en agua u otro líquido.
- No dejar el aparato sin supervisión cuando haya niños cerca.
- Mantener el aparato fuera del alcance de los niños.
- Desenchufe el aparato de la corriente cuando no esté en uso y antes de limpiarlo.
- Dejar que el aparato se enfríe por completo antes de poner o quitar partes.
- No use el aparato si el cable ó el propio aparato está dañado, o tenga alguna avería.
Llévelo a servicio técnico oficial ó autorizado para su revisión, reparación ó ajuste.
- No usar accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante puede causar peligros y daños.
- No utilice este aparato al aire libre.
- No deje que el cable cuelgue del borde de la mesa ni que toque superficies calientes.
- No coloque el aparato sobre o cerca de un quemador a gas o eléctrico, o superficie caliente.
- Mucha precaución al mover el aparato en caliente ó líquidos y alimentos calientes.
- No utilice cables de extensión ni tampoco temporizadores externos remotos de corriente.
- Para desconectar, tire del enchufe, nunca tire del cable.
- No utilice el aparato para otro uso que no sea el indicado y siempre siguiendo este manual.
- Este aparato no está diseñado para ser utilizado por personas (incluidos niños)
con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas, o falta de experiencia o
conocimiento, a menos que sean supervisados o instruidos con respecto a su manejo
por una persona responsable de su seguridad.

PRECAUCIONES A TENER EN CUENTA.
- Nunca manipular el aparato mientras esté enchufado.
- Enchufar el aparato a la corriente una vez listo con los alimentos dentro para cocinarlos.
- Si cuesta presionar el botón de cocinado, no lo fuerce, puede ser que el bowl de cocinado
no esté bien encajado ó la cocción acaba de terminar.
- Mantener siempre la tapa cerrada para evitar que el alimento se seque o se descolore.
- Nunca deje ningún utensilio dentro mientras utilice la función "Mantener Caliente".
- No utilizar la función "Mantener Caliente" para recalentar un cocinado ya frío.
- El aparato debe estar siempre limpio, sobre todo la placa del calentador ó resistencia.
- Siempre que el aparato esté enchufado a corriente, está en modo "Mantener Caliente".
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LAS PARTES.

USO Y COCINADO.
- Medir el arroz con la taza de medir incluida.
(Una taza de arroz crudo hace aproximadamente 3 tazas de arroz cocido).
- Lavar el arroz en un recipiente aparte hasta que el agua esté relativamente clara.
- Coloque el arroz lavado en el bowl de cocción y agregue el agua.
- La medida es: por cada taza de arroz hay que añadir dos tazas de agua.
- Colocar el bowl de cocción dentro de la olla. Para colocarlo correctamente, gire suavemente
hacia la derecha y hacia la izquierda. Cierre la tapa firmemente.
- No enchufe el aparato a la corriente hasta que no esté listo para cocinar, de lo contrario, el
arroz puede echarse a perder.
- Si el bowl no está bien ajustado a la olla, la cocción no comenzará.
- Enchufar a la corriente eléctrica, encender la olla y presionar el botón de cocinado.
- El piloto rojo de cocinado "COOK" se encenderá indicando que la cocción ha comenzado.
- Cuando el arroz esté listo, el interruptor se abrirá y se escuchará un clic.
Al mismo tiempo, la luz "COOK" se apagará y la luz "WARM" se mantendrá encendida, lo
que indica que la función "Mantener caliente" continuará manteniendo el arroz caliente.
- Después de saltar el interruptor, dejar tapado de 6 a 8 minutos para cocinar el arroz al vapor.
- Cuando termine el cocinado, desconectar de la corriente eléctrica.
CONSEJOS PARA EL COCINADO.
- Lavar El Arroz antes de cocinarlo:
el salvado da un olor desagradable al arroz cocido.
Para eliminar el salvado, el arroz debe lavarse bien en agua tibia.
Sin embargo, lavar el arroz puede causar pérdida de vitaminas y nutrición.
- Función "mantener caliente":
No use esta función durante más de 12 horas, puede causar decoloración u olor.
El tiempo aconsejado es cocinarlo antes de la comida y mantenerlo durante la comida.
Cuanto antes se sirva el arroz, mejor será su sabor.
- Cocer al vapor:
Ponga la cantidad de agua necesaria en el bowl y poner la bandeja vaporizadora encima.
Si se usan 2 bandejas vaporizadoras, los alimentos que necesitan menos tiempo
(por ejemplo, camarones, pescado) se deben colocar en la superior.
Si elige cocinar arroz y hacer la cocción al vapor al mismo tiempo, se debe agregar 1/8 taza
de agua adicional en el bowl de cocción para cada bandeja de vapor utilizada.
- Salteado:
esta cocina está diseñada para calentar el aceite automáticamente.
Agregue aceite y presione el interruptor hacia abajo a "COOK".
En unos 3-5 minutos, el interruptor subirá a "WARM" y el aceite estará caliente para cocinar.
Antes de saltear, presione el interruptor a "COOK" nuevamente.
LIMPIEZA.
- Después de usar la arrocera, desenchufe de la corriente y deje que la unidad se enfríe.
- Retire la bowl interno y la tapa y lávelos con agua caliente jabonosa.
- Secar bien con un paño suave ó papel de cocina absorbente.
- Limpie el exterior de la olla con un paño limpio y húmedo.
- Nunca utilice estropajos y tampoco utilice productos de limpieza abrasivos o fuertes.
- Use un paño húmedo o una esponja con agua y detergente neutro suave.
- No sumerja ninguna parte de la olla en agua, excepto el bowl interior y la tapa.
- Los granos de arroz, u otras materias extrañas, pueden pegarse a la placa de calentamiento.
- Retire el arroz o alimento pegado a la placa de calentamiento humedeciéndolo con un paño.
- Nunca utilice objetos punzantes que puedan dañar cualquier parte ó accesorio de la olla.
- La limpieza inadecuada puede causar olores desagradables.
- Cualquier residuo de vinagre o sal puede corroer el acabado de la olla ó accesorio.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Make sure that the voltage of the appliance is the same as the voltage of your house (220V).
- Never plug the appliance without the cooking bowl inside.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles.
- Never immerse the cord, plug or rice cooker (heating plate) in water or other liquid.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when there are children nearby.

- Unplug the appliance from the mains when it is not in use and before cleaning it.

PRECAUTIONS TO CONSIDER.
- Never manipulate the appliance while it is plugged in.
- Plug the appliance into the mains once it is ready with the food inside to cook it.
- If it is hard to press the cooking button, do not force it, it may be that the cooked bowl
is not well fitted or the cooking has just finished.
- Always keep the lid closed to prevent the food from drying out or discoloring.
- Never leave any utensils inside while using the "Keep Warm" function.
- Do not use the "Keep Warm" function to reheat an already cold cooking.
- The appliance must always be clean, especially the heater plate or resistance.
- Whenever the appliance is plugged in, it is in "Keep Warm" mode.

USE AND OPERATION.
- Measure the rice with the measuring cup included.
(One cup of raw rice makes about 3 cups of cooked rice).
- Wash the rice in a separate container until the water is relatively clear.
- Place the washed rice in the cooking bowl and add the water.
- The measure is: for each cup of rice you have to add two cups of water.
- Place the cooking bowl inside the pot.
To position it correctly, turn gently to the right and to the left. Close the lid firmly.
- Do not plug the appliance into the mains until you are ready to cook, otherwise the
rice can spoil.
- If the bowl is not properly adjusted to the pot, cooking will not start.
- Plug in the electric current, turn on the pot and press the cooking button.
- The red cooking light "COOK" will light indicating that cooking has started.
- When the rice is ready, the switch will open and you will hear a click.
At the same time, the "COOK" light will go out and the "WARM" light will remain on,
which indicates that the "Keep warm" function will continue to keep the rice warm.
- After jumping the switch, leave covered 6 to 8 minutes to cook the steamed rice.
- When the cooking is finished, disconnect from the electric current.
TIPS FOR COOKING.
- Wash the rice before cooking it:
the bran gives an unpleasant odor to cooked rice.
To eliminate the bran, the rice should be washed well in lukewarm water.
However, washing rice can cause loss of vitamins and nutrition.
- "Keep warm" function:
Do not use this function for more than 12 hours, it may cause discoloration or odor.
The recommended time is to cook it before the meal and keep warm it during the meal.
The sooner the rice is served, the better its flavor will be.
- Steaming:
Put the necessary amount of water in the bowl and put the steam tray on top.
If 2 vaporizer trays are used, foods that need less time (for example, shrimp, fish)
should be placed on top. If you choose to cook rice and steam it at the same time,
add 1/8 cup of additional water in the cooking bowl for each steam tray used.
- Sauteed:
This kitchen is designed to heat the oil automatically.
Add oil and press the switch down to "COOK".
In about 3-5 minutes, the switch will rise to "WARM" and the oil will be hot for cooking.
Before skipping, press the switch to "COOK" again.
CLEANING.
- After using the rice cooker, unplug the power and let the unit cool down.
- Remove the inner bowl and the lid and wash them with hot soapy water.
- Dry well with a soft cloth or with absorbent paper kitchen.
- Clean the outside of the pot with a clean, damp cloth.
- Never use scouring pads and do not use abrasive or strong cleaners.
- Use a damp cloth or a sponge with water and mild neutral detergent.
- Do not submerge any part of the pot in water, except the inner bowl and lid.
- Rice grains, or other foreign matter, can stick to the heating plate.
- Remove the rice or food stuck to the heating plate by moistening it with a cloth.
- Never use sharp objects that could damage any part or accessory of the pot.
- Inadequate cleaning can cause unpleasant odors.
- Any residue of vinegar or salt can corrode the finish of the pot or accessory.
