INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance is intended for household use

only. Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only.

Standard hot air stylers are designed to operate

at 110 to 125 volts AC.

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade

is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this

plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If

the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse

the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified

electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety

feature.

IMPORTANT

500 WATT OPERATING GUIDE

Use of this hot air brush on the same circuit or

fuse with other electrical products or appliances

may trip the circuit. NEVER replace the fuse

with one rated higher than the capacity of the

circuit. Doing so could result in an electrical

fire.

CHECK ALCI SAFETY FEATURE EVERY TIME

YOU USE APPLIANCE.

This appliance is equipped with an Appliance

Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ALCI), a safety

feature that renders it inoperable under some

abnormal conditions, such as immersion in

water. To make sure the ALCI is functioning

properly, perform the following test. The purpose

of this test is to allow you to make sure the water

sensing system (ALCI) is working.

1. Plug in the appliance and press test button on

plug (see appropriate diagram).

2. The appliance will stop working. There will be

an audible click and reset button will pop out.

3. To reset ALCI with a reset button, unit should

be unplugged. Then push reset button in and

reinsert plug into outlet.

4. If ALCI is not functioning properly, return

appliance to service center.

5. It is important that if immersion occurs, this

unit be brought to a service center. Do not

try to reset.

Many aspects of modern living, including air

conditioning, contact with man-made fibers,

and air pollution contribute to a buildup of static

electricity in the hair. Even brushing and towel

drying the hair can increase these levels, causing

the surface of the cuticle to become rough.

Consequently, hair may have a dull appearance.

Also high levels of static charge cause hair to

become flyaway and difficult to style. The ion

generator produces a stream of negative ions

Nano Titanium™ Technology

Nano titanium is an exceptional conductor of

heat and is stable in ultra-high temperatures.

This technology uses micro particles of titanium

that provide the ultimate heat performance for

beautiful, healthy-looking hair.

3 Heat/Speed Settings

Low Setting: This position combines ideal air

flow and temperature setting for shaping finer,

damaged or treated hair.

High Setting: Combines ideal airflow with higher

temperature, especially recommended for

pre-drying and also for styling thick hair.

Cool Setting: Using the cool setting at the end

sets the style for a long-lasting effect. The

rotation/spin function is not needed for cool

setting so that style can easily be set.

Rotation Settings

There are two rotation speed settings. To make

the brush head rotate, press the buttons marked

<< and >>, these will make the brush head

rotate clockwise and counterclockwise. The

rotation can be used on the low and high

settings. When the appliance is used on the cool

setting, the brush head will not rotate. For best

results, use the rotating brush feature to create

styles with gorgeous volume and shine.

Protective Cover

After every use, always make sure that the

protective shield is placed over the brush head.

This protects the bristles and stops them from

getting distorted.

FOR USE

Use a hairdryer first to dry hair and remove the

excess moisture.

Once the hair is 80% dry, you should start to

create your style using the Babyliss®PRO Nano

Titanium™ 2" Rotating Hot Air Brush.

Styling Tips For

Maximum

Volume and Body

1. Start by sectioning the hair. Be

sure to comb through hair so it's

detangled.

2. To turn the appliance on, select

the correct heat setting based on

hair type.

3. Position the appliance in the hair

close to the roots, and brush

through the section.

4. Move the brush through the hair

toward the ends, and as you

reach the end of the section, start

to rotate the brush away from the

head by pressing and holding the

appropriate rotate button.

5. As you do this, resist the rotation

of the brush by pulling the brush

downward. Tension created

through the section of hair will help

to smooth hair faster.

IMPORTANT! It may take several

attempts to perfect this technique.

If the brush spins too quickly, simply

release the rotation button and remove

from the hair.

6. For added root lift, hold the brush

in place at the root for a few

seconds.

7. For even mor e volume, allow the

brush to rotate, winding the entire

section of hair around the barrel.

Release the rotate button and then

leave the brush in the hair for a few

seconds. Use cool style setting to

set style.

8. T o release the section, press and

hold the opposite rotation button to

unwind the hair section.

9. Repeat as necessary.

10. For less volume, you can follow the

same steps and use without the spin

function.

11. After use, switch off and unplug the

appliance.

12. Allow to cool before storing away.

13. Place protective shield over brush

head to protect the bristles.

Helpful Hints and Tips

• To dene layers and give shape to

styles, follow step 4 and repeat through

all sections.

• T o get root volume and body through

the top section of hair, follow steps 3

to 6 but using an upward motion.

• You can create ips or tuck hair under.

Also perfect for shaping bangs.

CLEANING &

MAINTENANCE

• Unplug theapplianceandlet cool completely

before cleaning it.

• Use a damp cloth then clean carefully. Make

sure the appliance is completely dry before

using again.

• The rear filter should be cleaned using a

soft brush on a regular basis to help prevent

buildup and overheating. This will also prolong

the motor life.

USER MAINTENANCE

Your hot air brush is virtually maintenance free.

No lubrication is needed. For proper operating

performance, the hot air brush must be kept

clean. When cleaning is needed, unplug the cord,

allow to cool and clean dust and lint from air

intake openings with a small brush or the brush

attachment of a vacuum cleaner. The outer

surface of the hot air brush should be wiped

clean with a cloth only. Blocked or clogged air

intake vents will cause the hot air styler to

overheat. If overheating occurs, an automatic

safety device will shut the hot air styler or the

heat off to prevent damage or personal injury.

If the unit or the heat turns off, unplug the cord

and allow the hot air styler to cool for 10 to 15

minutes before restarting. Make sure the air

vents are clean.

CAUTION

NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled,

twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the cord

tightly around the hot air styler. Damage will occur

at the high ﬂex point of entry into the hot air styler,

causing it to rupture and short. Inspect the cord

frequently for damage. Stop use immediately if

damage is visible or unit stops or operates

intermittently.

If the cord or hot air styler is damaged or does not

operate properly, return it for repair to an authorized

Babyliss Pro service representative only. No repairs

should be attempted by the consumer.

STORAGE – IMPORTANT

When not in use, your hot air brush should be

disconnected, allowed to cool and stored in a safe,

dry location, out of reach of children. Do not wrap

line cord around hot air styler. Allow the cord to

hang or lie loose and straight at the point of entry

into the hot air styler.

your unit free of charge for 2 years from the

date of purchase if the appliance is defective

Función rotativa

El cuerpo del cepillo puede girar en ambas

direcciones. Simplemente oprima el botón

deseado, << o >>, para hacer girar el cepillo en

sentido horario o antihorario. La función rotativa

puede usarse con ajuste de temperatura/

velocidad bajo o alto solamente. No funcionará

con el aire frío. Para obtener resultados óptimos,

utilice la función rotativa para crear peinados con

mucho cuerpo y brillo.

Cubierta protectora

Cubra el cepillo con la cubierta protectora

después de cada uso. La cubierta protectora

protege las cerdas, manteniendo su forma

original.

DE USO

Si su cabello es muy largo o abundante, le

recomendamos que lo preseque con un secador

para eliminar el exceso de humedad. Para dar

más volumen al cabello, incline la cabeza hacia

delante durante el secado.

Cuando su cabello esté seco al 80%, póngalo en

forma con el cepillo de aire giratorio InfinitiPro

by Babyliss Pro.

Consejos para

1. Divida el cabello en secciones

uniformes. Peine el cabello

para asegurarse de que esté

desenredado.

2. Encienda el aparato y elija el nivel

de temperatura deseado, según

su tipo de cabello.

3. Coloque el cepillo debajo una

sección de cabello, cerca

del cuero cabelludo, y bájelo

lentamente hacia las puntas.

cepillo hacia dentro, oprimiendo el

7. Para obtener aun más volumen,

utilice la misma técnica, pero sin la

función rotativa.

11. Apague y desconecte el aparato

después del uso.

12. Permita que enfríe antes de

Consejos útiles

• Para dar denición a las capas y

poner peinados en forma, siga el

paso 4 con cada sección de cabello.

• Para agregar volumen a la raíz y

cuerpo a la parte superior del cabello,

siga los pasos 3 a 6, estirando el

cabello hacia arriba.

• También puede usar el cepillo para

doblar las puntas hacia dentro/fuera

corriente, deteniendo el ﬂujo de electricidad.

INSTRUCCIONES DE

MANTENIMIENTO

Su aparato requiere poco mantenimiento.

No necesita lubricación. Para que funcione

correctamente, debe mantenerlo limpio. Cuando

sea necesario limpiarlo, desconéctelo, permita

que enfríe y saque el polvo y las pelusas de las

aberturas de aire con un cepillo pequeño o el

cepillo accesorio de una aspiradora. La superﬁcie

exterior del aparato sólo se debe limpiar con un

paño limpio. El aparato se recalentará si las

aberturas de aire estuvieran bloqueadas

u obstruidas. Si esto ocurriera, un sistema

de seguridad apagará el aparato o cortará

la temperatura automáticamente para evitar

daños al aparato o heridas. Si esto sucediera,

desenchufe el aparato y permita que enfríe

durante 10 a 15 minutos antes de encenderlo

de nuevo. Asegúrese de que las ventilaciones de

aire estén limpias.

PRECAUCIÓN

NUNCA jale, retuerza ni doble mucho el cable. Nunca

lo enrolle con fuerza alrededor del aparato. Esto

podría dañar la junta ﬂexible que lo conecta al

aparato, produciendo su ruptura o un cortocircuito.

Inspeccione el cable con frecuencia para asegurarse

de que no esté dañado. Deje de usar el aparato

inmediatamente si el cable parece dañado o si

el aparato dejara de funcionar o funcionara de

manera intermitente.

Si el cable o el aparato estuviesen dañados o si el

aparato no funcionase correctamente, regréselo

a un centro de servicio autorizado. No trate de

repararlo.

ALMACENAJE – IMPORTANTE

Después de usar el aparato, desconéctelo, permita

que enfríe y guárdelo en un lugar seco y seguro,

fuera del alcance de los niños. No enrolle el cable

alrededor del aparato. Permita que el cable cuelgue

o que la junta que lo conecta al secador esté suelta

y recta.

GARANTÍA LIMITADA DE 2 AÑOS

Babyliss Pro reparará o remplazará (a su opción)

su aparato sin cargo por un período de 24meses

a partir de la fecha de compra si presentara

defectos de materiales o fabricación.

Para obtener servicio técnico bajo esta garantía,

regrese su aparato al Centro de Servicio indicado

a continuación, junto con su recibo de compra y

un cheque o giro postal de $5.00US por gastos

de manejo y envío. Los residentes de California

sólo necesitan dar una prueba de compra y

deben llamar al 1-800-326-6247 para recibir

instrucciones de envío. En ausencia del recibo de

compra, el período de garantía será de 24 meses

a partir de la fecha de fabricación.
