3 English To make a call using voice commands • The Clip-on Bluetooth™ Handsfree VH300 can be connected to any device with Bluetooth wireless technology that supports the handsfree or headset profile. This User guide focuses on use with a Sony Ericsson mobile phone. It may need to be recharged a number of times. When the battery needs charging, the indicator light flashes red and you hear a low beep. If you do not charge the headset, it automatically turns off. Press and hold down the on/off key (see figure 2) until the indicator light shows a steady green or red light. If the light is red, the headset needs charging. After 3 seconds, the light turns off and the headset is on. To turn off the headset Press and hold down the on/off key until the indicator light shows a steady green or red light. If the light is red, the headset needs charging. After 2 seconds, the light turns off and the headset is off. To pair the headset with your phone This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Industry Canada Statement To transfer sound from the phone to the headset • Before you can use the headset it has to be paired once with your phone. After a successful pairing, the headset automatically connects to the phone when it is on and within range. Press and hold down the on/off key until the indicator light flashes green and red alternately. 4. The first time you turn on the headset it automatically enters pairing mode. 5. Add the headset to your phone as described in your phone User guide. The passcode is 0000. To pair the headset with another phone 1. Turn off the headset if it is turned on. 2. Repeat the instructions for how to pair the headset with your phone. Calling To check the battery status • Press the on/off key briefly: • one red flash – the battery needs charging soon • two green flashes – the battery is half full • three green flashes – the battery is fully charged To reset the headset 1. Turn off the headset. 2. Press and hold down the power key until the indicator light flashes red and green alternately. 3. Press and hold down the power key and the call handling key simultaneously until the headset turns off. 4. Pair the headset with the phone in the same way as before. Troubleshooting The headset is not responding The capacity of the battery may be low if the headset has not been used for a long time. You need to charge the headset several times to get back to the original capacity. Warning! If you do not plan to use the product for a long time, charge the battery until you see three green flashes. Turn off the product before storing it. To make a call Use the phone keys to dial the number as normal. The call is automatically activated in the headset. Pour vérifier l’état de la batterie • Appuyez brièvement sur la touche marche/arrêt : • un clignotement rouge : la batterie doit être rechargée sans tarder • deux clignotements verts : la batterie est à moitié chargée • trois clignotement verts : la batterie est complètement chargée Réinitialisation de l’oreillette Pour réinitialiser l’oreillette 1. Mettez l’oreillette hors tension. 2. Maintenez enfoncée la touche marche/arrêt jusqu’à ce que le voyant alternativement clignote en rouge et vert. 3. Maintenez enfoncées simultanément la touche marche/arrêt et la touche de gestion des appels jusqu’à ce que l’oreillette s’éteigne. 4. Jumelez l’oreillette avec le téléphone comme auparavant. Dépannage L’oreillette ne réagit pas La capacité de la batterie peut être réduite si l’oreillette n’a pas été utilisée pendant une période prolongée. Vous devez charger l’oreillette à plusieurs reprises pour qu’elle retrouve sa capacité initiale. Attention ! Si vous n’envisagez pas d’utiliser l’appareil pendant une période prolongée, chargez la batterie jusqu’à ce que voyez trois clignotements verts. Mettez l’appareil hors tension avant de le ranger.
