SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Read all instructions.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

• To protect against electrical shock do not

immerse cord, plugs or any other part of the

appliance in water or any other liquid.

appliance is use by or near children.

disconnect, turn any control to “off” and then

• When operating the oven keep at least 4 inches

of space on all sides of the oven to allow for

adequate air circulation.

• Do not rest cooking utensils or baking dishes on

the glass door.

• The maximum weight of food allowed on the

food tray/wire rack can not be more than 3.0

kg. Do not concentrate the food on one side of

the food tray/wire rack, place food evenly.

• The rear surface of the appliance should be

placed against a wall.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Oversize foods, metal foil packages or utensils

must not be inserted in a toaster as they may

involve a risk of ﬁ re or electric shock.

• A ﬁ re may occur if toasters are covered or

touching ﬂ ammable material including curtains,

draperies, walls and the like when in operation.

• Do not attempt to dislodge food when the toaster

is plugged in.

• Do not operate unattended.

• When heater toaster pastries, always use the

lightest toaster colour setting.

• Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces

can break off the pad and touch electrical parts

involving risk of electric shock.

• Extreme caution should be exercised when

using containers constructed of anything other

than metal or glass.

• Do not store any materials other than the

manufacturers recommended accessories inside

this oven when not in use.

• Do not place ﬂ ammable materials such as paper,

cardboard, plastic, etc, in the oven.

• Do not cover the crumb tray or any part of the

oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating

of the oven.

• This appliance has a tempered safety glass door.

The glass is stronger than ordinary glass and

more resistant to breakage. Tempered glass can

break but the edges will not be sharp. Avoid

scratching the door surface or nicking the edges.

If the door glass has a scratch or nick, contact

consumer service before using the oven.

• The temperature of the door or the outer surface

may be higher when the appliance is working.

• Temperature of accessible surfaces may be high

when the appliance is operating.

• This appliance is intended to be used in

household and similar applications such as:

farm houses; staff kitchen areas in shops,

ofﬁ ces and other working environments; by

clients in hotels, motels and other residential

type environments; bed and breakfast type

environments.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

they do not play with the appliance.

• Turn the timer knob to “OFF” to the turn the

appliance off.

• Appliances are not intended to be operated by

means of an external timer or separate remote

control system.

• This appliance can be used by children aged

8 years and above if they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be

made by children without supervision.

WARNING - This appliance includes a heating

function. Surfaces, other than the functional surfaces

may develop high temperatures. Since temperatures

are perceived differently by different people, this

device should be used with CAUTION. Hold the

appliance exclusively to grip surfaces intended to

hold and use such heat protection measures as heat

protection Gloves or pot holders. Areas which are

not intended to grips must be given sufﬁ cient time to

cool.

CAUTION: APPLIANCE SURFACES ARE HOT AFTER

USE. ALWAYS wear protective, insulated oven

gloves when touching hot oven or hot dishes and

food, or when inserting or removing rack, pans or

baking dishes.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be grounded. Grounding

reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an

escape wire for the electrical current.

This appliance has a cord that has a grounding

wire with a 3-prong plug. The power cord must be

plugged into an outlet that is properly grounded.

If the outlet is a 2-prong wall outlet, it must be

replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall

outlet. The serial rating plate indicates the voltage

and frequency the appliance is designed for.

WARNING - Improper use of the grounding

plug can result in a risk of electric shock.

Consult a qualiﬁ ed electrician or service agent

if the grounding instructions are not completely

understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the

appliance is properly grounded.

Do not connect your appliance to extension

cords or together with another appliance in the

same wall outlet. Do not splice the power cord.

Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the

third ground prong from the power cord. Do not

use extension cords or ungrounded (two prongs)

adapters.

If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or

similar qualiﬁ ed person in order to avoid hazard.

Have a qualiﬁ ed electrician install a grounded outlet

near the appliance if the power cord is too short. A

short power supply cord is provided to reduce the

risks resulting from becoming entangled or tripping

over a longer power cord.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Unpack the appliance.

2. Remove all racks and pans. Wash the racks and pans in hot sudsy water or in dishwasher.

3. Thoroughly dry all accessories and re-assemble in the oven. Plug the oven into the outlet and it is ready

to use.

4. It is recommended to run the oven at MAX temperature for 15 minutes before using for the ﬁ rst time to

eliminate and packing oil that may remain after shipping.

Note: The oven may produce smoke during this process. This is normal for a new oven and will not last

more than 10 - 15 minutes.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

CONTROL PANEL

Time Setting

0-30 MINUTES: The timer can be set up to 30

minutes. The oven will not turn “stay on” without the

timer being set. When the time knob is in the “OFF“

position the oven will not operate.

To set the time, turn the knob clockwise to the

desired time. Indicator light is lit only when time

has been set. When the timer has reached the OFF

position, a bell sound will be heard. Power supply

will be cut off automatically.

Adjusting Time

Timer can be change during cooking cycle. Just

turn the timer knob to the desired time and continue

cooking.

Note: To select the cooking time, ﬁ rst rotate the timer

knob more than 90 degrees and then turn the switch

back to the time you require.

Temperature Setting

Turn the temperature knob clockwise to the desired

temperature setting. The temperature can be set

from 150°F to 450°F.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

STAY ON

To use the toaster without setting a time, turn the

timer knob to position “stay on”. In this setting,

the toaster will continue to operate at the set

temperature until the oven is manually turned off.

Note: The food may catch ﬁ re is the cooking time

is allowed to run too long. Close supervision is

necessary when using this setting.

FUNCTION SETTING

The oven includes ﬁ ve different functions for

versatile cooking all in one appliance.

WARM:

• The lower heating elements are working

BAGEL:

• The upper heating elements are working

BROIL:

• The upper heating elements are working

BAKE:

• The upper and lower heating elements are

working

TOAST:

• The upper and lower heating elements are

working

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place the baking rack in position that will

accommodate the height of the food to be

cooked.

2. Set the food on the rock. Make sure that you

always use an oven proof container in the oven,

never use plastic or cardboard containers.

3. Never use glass or ceramic pans or lids.

4. Do not let juices run into the bottom of the oven.

Use the crumb tray when cooking.

5. Set the temperature as suggested by the recipe

or as desired.

6. Securely shut the door and set the cooking time

to begin operating the oven.

Warm

Use the warm function for foods such as less tender

cuts of meat, soups and stews.

1. Place the baking rack to the desired height.

2. Set the function knob to warm.

3. Select the desired length of time.

4. Rotate the temperature knob clockwise to the

desired temperature.

5. Continue baking for desired length of time.

6. Check food temperatures before moving to

ensure that proper internal temperatures have

been reached.

7. Always remove food with oven mitts. Food and

oven are very hot.

Bagel

The bagel function is ideal for ﬁ sh, beef, etc.

1. Place the baking rack to the desired height.

2. Set the function knob to bagel.

3. Select the desired length of time.

4. Rotate the temperature knob clockwise to the

desired temperature.

5. Continue baking for desired length of time.

6. Check food temperatures before moving to

ensure that proper internal temperatures have

been reached.

7. Always remove food with oven mitts. Food and

oven are very hot.

Broil

The broil function is ideal for steak, vegetables, etc.

1. Place the baking rack to the desired height.

2. Set the function knob to broil.

3. Select the desired length of time.

4. Rotate the temperature knob clockwise to the

desired temperature.

5. Continue baking for desired length of time.

6. Check food temperatures before moving to

ensure that proper internal temperatures have

been reached.

7. Always remove food with oven mitts. Food and

oven are very hot.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

corn, bread, etc.

1. Place the baking rack to the desired height.

2. Set the function knob to bake.

3. Select the desired length of time.

Toast

The toast function can be used for foods such as

cookies, reheating food, etc.

1. Place the baking rack to the desired height.

2. Set the function knob to toast.

3. Select the desired length of time.

4. Rotate the temperature knob clockwise to the

desired temperature.

5. Continue baking for desired length of time.

6. Check food temperatures before moving to

ensure that proper internal temperatures have

been reached.

7. Always remove food with oven mitts. Food and

oven are very hot.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

MAINTENANCE

This appliance requires very little maintenance. It

contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to

repair it yourself. Contact a qualiﬁ ed appliance

repair technician if the product requires servicing.

CLEANING

CAUTION - To protect against electrical shock DO

NOT IMMERSE THE OVEN IN WATER OR ANY

OTHER LIQUIDS.

The oven should be cleaned regularly for best

performance and long life. Regular cleaning will

also reduce the risk of ﬁ re hazard.

1. Remove the plug from the electrical outlet. Allow

the oven to cool completely before completely

any cleaning.

2. Wash all attachments with a damp, soapy cloth.

Make sure to only use mild soap.

3. To clean the inside of the oven, wipe the oven

walls, bottom and glass door with a damp,

soapy cloth. Repeat with a dry, clean cloth.

4. Wipe the outside of the oven with a damp cloth.

CAUTION - Do not use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing

crushes or chemical cleaners as this will damage the

non-stick coating of the baking tray.

LONG-TERM STORAGE

Allow the appliance to completely cool and dry

before placing into storage.

If storing the oven for long periods of time make

certain that the oven is clean and free of food

particles.

Store the oven in a dry location such as on a table

or counter top or cupboard shelf.

Other than recommended cleaning, no further

user maintenance should be necessary. Any other

servicing should be performed by an authorized

service representative.

LIMITED IN-HOME APPLIANCE WARRANTY

This quality product is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship, provided that the unit is used under the normal operating

conditions intended by the manufacturer.

This warranty is available only to the person to whom the unit was originally sold by Danby Products Limited (Canada) or Danby Products Inc. (U.S.A.) (hereafter

“Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

Plastic parts, are warranted for thirty (30) days only from purchase date, with no extensions provided.

First Year

During the rst twelve (12) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired or replaced, at warrantor’s

option, at no charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser.

Danby reserves the right to limit the boundaries of “In Home Service” to the proximity of an Authorized Service Depot. Any app liance

requiring service outside the limited boundaries of “In Home Service” , it will be the consumer’s responsibility to transport the appliance (at

their own expense) to the original retailer (point of purchase) or a service depot for repair. See “Boundaries of In Home Serv ice” below.

Contact your dealer from whom your unit was purchased, or contact your nearest authorized Danby service depot, where service

must be performed by a qualied service technician.

If service is performed on the units by anyone other than an authorized service depot, or the unit is used for commercial appli cation, all

obligations of Danby under this warranty shall be void.

to any defect of the appliance, or its use, whether proper or improper.

EXCLUSIONS

Save as herein provided, Danby, there are no other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, express or implied, m ade or intended by Danby or its

authorized distributors and all other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, including any warranties, conditio ns, representations or guarantees

under any Sale of Goods Act or like legislation or statue is hereby expressly excluded. Save as herein provided, Danby shall no t be responsible for any damages

to persons or property, including the unit itself, howsoever caused or any consequential damages arising from the malfunction o f the unit and by the purchase of

the unit, the purchaser does hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Danby from any claim for damages to persons or propert y caused by the unit.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:

1) Power failure.

2) Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.

3) Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective house wiring or inadequate fuses.

4) Accident, alteration, abuse or misuse of the appliance such as inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating con ditions

(extremely high or low room temperature).

5) Use for commercial or industrial purposes (ie. If the appliance is not installed in a domestic residence).

6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, oods etc.

7) Service calls resulting in customer education.

8) Improper Installation (ie. Building-in of a free standing appliance or using an appliance outdoors that is not approved for out door application).

Proof of purchase date will be required for warranty claims; so, please retain bills of sale. In the event warranty service is required, present this document to our

AUTHORIZED SERVICE DEPOT.

Transportation charges to and from the service location are not protected by this warranty and are the responsibility of the purchaser.

During the ﬁrst twenty four (24) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired

INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE

Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. La mise à

la terre réduit le risque de choc électrique en

fournissant un ﬁ l d’échappement pour le courant

électrique.

Cet appareil est doté d’un cordon doté d’un ﬁ l

de mise à la terre avec une ﬁ che à 3 broches. Le

cordon d’alimentation doit être branché dans une

prise correctement mise à la terre. Si la prise est une

prise murale à 2 broches, elle doit être remplacée

par une prise murale à 3 broches correctement mise

à la terre. La plaque signalétique indique la tension

et la fréquence pour lesquelles l’appareil est conçu.

AVERTISSEMENT - Une mauvaise utilisation de la

ﬁ che de mise à la terre peut entraîner un risque de

choc électrique. Consultez un électricien qualiﬁ é ou

un agent de service si les instructions de mise à la

terre ne sont pas entièrement comprises ou s’il existe

un doute quant à la mise à la terre de l’appareil.

Ne connectez pas votre appareil à des rallonges

ou avec un autre appareil dans la même prise

murale. Ne pas épisser le cordon d’alimentation.

Ne coupez ou ne retirez en aucun cas la troisième

broche de terre du cordon d’alimentation. N’utilisez

pas de rallonges ni d’adaptateurs non mis à la terre

(deux broches).

Si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit

être remplacé par le fabricant, son agent de service

ou une personne qualiﬁ ée similaire aﬁ n d’éviter tout

danger.

Demandez à un électricien qualiﬁ é d’installer une

prise avec mise à la terre à proximité de l’appareil

si le cordon d’alimentation est trop court. Un cordon

d’alimentation court est fourni pour réduire les

risques de s’emmêler ou de trébucher sur un cordon

d’alimentation plus long.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

1. Déballez l’appareil.

2. Retirez tous les grilles et casseroles. Lavez les grilles et les casseroles dans de l’eau chaude savonneuse

ou au lave-vaisselle.

3. Séchez soigneusement tous les accessoires et remontez-les dans le four. Branchez le four dans la prise

et il est prêt à être utilisé.

4. Il est recommandé de faire fonctionner le four à la température MAX pendant 15 minutes avant de

l’utiliser pour la première fois aﬁ n d’éliminer l’huile d’emballage qui peut rester après l’expédition.

Remarque: Le four peut produire de la fumée pendant ce processus. Ceci est normal pour un nouveau four

et ne durera pas plus de 10 à 15 minutes.

PANNEAU DE CONTRÔLE

Réglage de l’heure

0-30 MINUTES: La minuterie peut être réglée

jusqu’à 30 minutes. Le four ne s’allumera pas sans

que la minuterie ne soit réglée. Lorsque le bouton

de minuterie est en position «OFF», le four ne

fonctionnera pas.

Pour régler l’heure, tournez le bouton dans le sens

des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à l’heure souhaitée.

Le voyant lumineux est allumé uniquement lorsque

l’heure a été réglée. Lorsque la minuterie a atteint

la position OFF, un son de cloche se fera entendre.

L’alimentation sera coupée automatiquement.

Réglage du temps

La minuterie peut être modiﬁ ée pendant le cycle de

cuisson. Juste tournez le bouton de la minuterie sur

l’heure désirée et poursuivez la cuisson.

Remarque: pour sélectionner le temps de cuisson,

tournez d’abord le bouton de la minuterie de plus

de 90 degrés, puis remettez l’interrupteur sur la

durée souhaitée.

Réglage de la température

Tournez le bouton de température dans le sens

des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’au réglage de

température souhaité. La température peut être

réglée de 150°F à 450°F.

RESTER SUR

Pour utiliser le grille-pain sans régler l’heure,

tournez le bouton de la minuterie sur la position

«rester allumé». Dans ce réglage, le grille-pain

continuera à fonctionner à la température réglée

jusqu’à ce que le four soit éteint manuellement.

Remarque: les aliments peuvent prendre feu si le

temps de cuisson est trop long. Une surveillance

étroite est nécessaire lors de l’utilisation de ce

paramètre.

1. Placez la grille de cuisson dans une position

adaptée à la hauteur des aliments à cuire.

2. Placez la nourriture sur le rocher. Assurez-vous

que vous utilisez toujours un récipient allant au

four dans le four, n’utilisez jamais de récipients

en plastique ou en carton.

3. N’utilisez jamais de casseroles ou couvercles en

verre ou en céramique.

4. Ne laissez pas les jus couler dans le bas du four.

Utilisez le plateau ramasse-miettes lors de la

cuisson.

5. Réglez la température comme suggéré par la

recette ou comme vous le souhaitez.

6. Fermez bien la porte et réglez le temps de

cuisson pour commencer à faire fonctionner le

four.

Chaud

Utilisez la fonction tiède pour les aliments tels que

les coupes de viande moins tendres, les soupes et

les ragoûts.

NETTOYAGE

ATTENTION - Pour vous protéger contre les chocs

électriques, NE PAS IMMERGER LE FOUR DANS

L’EAU OU TOUT AUTRE LIQUIDE.

Le four doit être nettoyé régulièrement pour de

meilleures performances et une longue durée de vie.

Un nettoyage régulier réduira également le risque

d’incendie.

1. Retirez la ﬁ che de la prise électrique. Laisser

le four refroidir complètement avant tout

nettoyage.

2. Lavez tous les accessoires avec un chiffon

humide et savonneux. Assurez-vous de n’utiliser

que du savon doux.

3. Pour nettoyer l’intérieur du four, essuyez les

parois, le fond et la porte vitrée du four avec un

chiffon humide et savonneux. Répétez avec un

chiffon sec et propre.

4. Essuyez l’extérieur du four avec un chiffon

humide.

ATTENTION - N’utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs,

d’écrasements à récurer ou de nettoyants chimiques

car cela endommagerait le revêtement antiadhésif

de la plaque à pâtisserie.

STOCKAGE À LONG TERME

Laissez l’appareil refroidir et sécher complètement

avant de le ranger.

Si vous stockez le four pendant de longues périodes,

assurez-vous que le four est propre et exempt de

particules alimentaires.

Rangez le four dans un endroit sec, comme sur une

table, un comptoir ou une étagère de placard.

“Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

Plastic parts, are warranted for thirty (30) days only from purchase date, with no extensions provided.

First Year

During the rst twelve (12) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired or replaced, at warrantor’s

option, at no charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser.

to persons or property, including the unit itself, howsoever caused or any consequential damages arising from the malfunction o f the unit and by the purchase of

the unit, the purchaser does hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Danby from any claim for damages to persons or propert y caused by the unit.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:

1) Power failure.

2) Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.

3) Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective house wiring or inadequate fuses.

4) Accident, alteration, abuse or misuse of the appliance such as inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating con ditions

(extremely high or low room temperature).

5) Use for commercial or industrial purposes (ie. If the appliance is not installed in a domestic residence).

6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, oods etc.

7) Service calls resulting in customer education.

8) Improper Installation (ie. Building-in of a free standing appliance or using an appliance outdoors that is not approved for out door application).

Proof of purchase date will be required for warranty claims; so, please retain bills of sale. In the event warranty service is required, present this document to our

INSTRUCCIONES DE PUESTA A TIERRA

Este aparato debe estar conectado a tierra. La

Este aparato tiene un cable que tiene un cable

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO

1. Desembale el aparato.

2. Retire todas las rejillas y sartenes. Lave las rejillas y sartenes en agua caliente con jabón o en el

lavavajillas.

3. Seque bien todos los accesorios y vuelva a montar en el horno. Enchufe el horno en el tomacorriente y

estará listo para usar.

4. Se recomienda hacer funcionar el horno a temperatura MÁXIMA durante 15 minutos antes de usarlo

por primera vez para eliminar y empacar el aceite que pueda quedar después del envío.

Nota: El horno puede producir humo durante este proceso. Esto es normal para un horno nuevo y no

durará más de 10 a 15 minutos.

PANEL DE CONTROL

Conﬁ guracion de hora

0-30 MINUTOS: El temporizador se puede

conﬁ gurar hasta 30 minutos. El horno no se

encenderá “permanentemente encendido” sin que el

temporizador esté programado. Cuando la perilla

de tiempo está en la posición “OFF”, el horno no

funcionará.

Para conﬁ gurar la hora, gire la perilla en el sentido

de las agujas del reloj hasta la hora deseada.

La luz indicadora se enciende solo cuando se ha

establecido la hora. Cuando el temporizador haya

alcanzado la posición APAGADO, se escuchará un

sonido de campana. La fuente de alimentación se

cortará automáticamente.

Ajustar el tiempo

El temporizador se puede cambiar durante el ciclo

de cocción. Sólo

gire la perilla del temporizador al tiempo deseado

y continúe cocinando.

Nota: Para seleccionar el tiempo de cocción,

primero gire la perilla del temporizador más de

90 grados y luego vuelva a girar el interruptor al

tiempo que necesite.

Ajuste de temperatura

Gire la perilla de temperatura en el sentido de las

agujas del reloj hasta el ajuste de temperatura

deseado. La temperatura se puede ajustar de 150°F

a 450°F.

PERMANECER EN

LIMPIEZA

GENERAL PROVISIONS

No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:

1) Power failure.

2) Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.

3) Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective house wiring or inadequate fuses.

4) Accident, alteration, abuse or misuse of the appliance such as inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating con ditions

(extremely high or low room temperature).

5) Use for commercial or industrial purposes (ie. If the appliance is not installed in a domestic residence).

6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, oods etc.

7) Service calls resulting in customer education.

8) Improper Installation (ie. Building-in of a free standing appliance or using an appliance outdoors that is not approved for out door application).

Do not concentrate the food on one side of the food tray/wire rack, place food evenly. • The rear surface of the appliance should be placed against a wall. • Oversize foods, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in a toaster as they may involve a risk of ﬁre or electric shock. • A ﬁre may occur if toasters are covered or touching ﬂammable material including curtains, draperies, walls and the like when in operation. • Do not attempt to dislodge food when the toaster is plugged in. • Do not operate unattended. • When heater toaster pastries, always use the lightest toaster colour setting. • Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts involving risk of electric shock. • Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of anything other than metal or glass. • Do not store any materials other than the manufacturers recommended accessories inside this oven when not in use. • Do not place ﬂammable materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, etc, in the oven. • Do not cover the crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven. • This appliance has a tempered safety glass door. The glass is stronger than ordinary glass and more resistant to breakage. Tempered glass can break but the edges will not be sharp. Avoid scratching the door surface or nicking the edges. If the door glass has a scratch or nick, contact consumer service before using the oven. • The temperature of the door or the outer surface may be higher when the appliance is working. • Temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating. • This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: farm houses; staff kitchen areas in shops, ofﬁces and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments. This appliance must be grounded. Grounding reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire for the electrical current. This appliance has a cord that has a grounding wire with a 3-prong plug. The power cord must be plugged into an outlet that is properly grounded. If the outlet is a 2-prong wall outlet, it must be replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet. The serial rating plate indicates the voltage and frequency the appliance is designed for. WARNING - Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock. Consult a qualiﬁed electrician or service agent if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded. Have a qualiﬁed electrician install a grounded outlet near the appliance if the power cord is too short. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled or tripping over a longer power cord. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS! 3 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FIRST USE 1. Unpack the appliance. 2. Remove all racks and pans. Wash the racks and pans in hot sudsy water or in dishwasher. 3. Thoroughly dry all accessories and re-assemble in the oven. Plug the oven into the outlet and it is ready to use. 4. It is recommended to run the oven at MAX temperature for 15 minutes before using for the ﬁrst time to eliminate and packing oil that may remain after shipping. The oven will not turn “stay on” without the timer being set. When the time knob is in the “OFF“ position the oven will not operate. To set the time, turn the knob clockwise to the desired time. Indicator light is lit only when time has been set. When the timer has reached the OFF position, a bell sound will be heard. Power supply will be cut off automatically. Adjusting Time Timer can be change during cooking cycle. Just turn the timer knob to the desired time and continue cooking. Note: To select the cooking time, ﬁrst rotate the timer knob more than 90 degrees and then turn the switch back to the time you require. Temperature Setting Turn the temperature knob clockwise to the desired temperature setting. The temperature can be set from 150°F to 450°F. 5 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS STAY ON COOKING INSTRUCTIONS To use the toaster without setting a time, turn the timer knob to position “stay on”. In this setting, the toaster will continue to operate at the set temperature until the oven is manually turned off. 1. Place the baking rack in position that will accommodate the height of the food to be cooked. 2. Set the food on the rock. Make sure that you always use an oven proof container in the oven, never use plastic or cardboard containers. 3. Never use glass or ceramic pans or lids. 4. Do not let juices run into the bottom of the oven. Use the crumb tray when cooking. 5. Set the temperature as suggested by the recipe or as desired. 6. Securely shut the door and set the cooking time to begin operating the oven. Note: The food may catch ﬁre is the cooking time is allowed to run too long. Close supervision is necessary when using this setting. FUNCTION SETTING The oven includes ﬁve different functions for versatile cooking all in one appliance. Food and oven are very hot. 7 CARE & MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE LONG-TERM STORAGE This appliance requires very little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Contact a qualiﬁed appliance repair technician if the product requires servicing. Allow the appliance to completely cool and dry before placing into storage. If storing the oven for long periods of time make certain that the oven is clean and free of food particles. CLEANING Store the oven in a dry location such as on a table or counter top or cupboard shelf. CAUTION - To protect against electrical shock DO NOT IMMERSE THE OVEN IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUIDS. Other than recommended cleaning, no further user maintenance should be necessary. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative. The oven should be cleaned regularly for best performance and long life. Regular cleaning will also reduce the risk of ﬁre hazard. 1. Remove the plug from the electrical outlet. Allow the oven to cool completely before completely any cleaning. 2. Wash all attachments with a damp, soapy cloth. Make sure to only use mild soap. 3. To clean the inside of the oven, wipe the oven walls, bottom and glass door with a damp, soapy cloth. Repeat with a dry, clean cloth. 4. Wipe the outside of the oven with a damp cloth.
