a) Faulty wall outlet connections or loose plugs can cause the outlet
or plug to overheat. Be sure the plug fits tight in the outlet.
b) This heater draws 6.6 amps during operation. To prevent
overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit that
already has other appliances working.

WARNING
– TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE OR
INJURY TO PERSONS:
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot
surface. If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible
materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at
least 3 feet from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides
and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or
invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug the heater when not in use.
• Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard the
heater or return to SI Products Service facility for examination, electrical or
mechanical adjustment, or repair.
•This heater is not intended for use in bathroom, laundry areas and similar moist
indoor locations. Never place heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other
water container.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners
or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange
cord away from traffic areas where it can be tripped over.
• To disconnect the heater, first turn controls to the OFF position, then remove
plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust
opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner.
Do not use on soft surface, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater may have hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in the
areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only for its intended use as described in this manual. Any
other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric
shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an
extension cord or relocate power tap (outlet/power strip).
• DO NOT use outdoors.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Turning the Unit On
• Check that neither the appliance nor the power cord has been damaged.
• Place the heater on a firm level surface.
• Connect the power cord into a standard AC outlet.
Caution: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of shock, this plug is intended to fit
only one way in a polarized outlet. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature. To do so
could result in an electric shock hazard
1) Power On/Off
• To turn the heater ON, turn the Rotary Control ring counter-clockwise (to the right)
to the desired setting.
• NOTE: The yellow Power ON light will be lit whenever the heater is operating.
• To turn the heater OFF, simply turn the Rotary Control ring clockwise (to the left) to
the OFF position

2) Heat Settings
• Turn the heater ON by turning the Rotary Control ring counter-clockwise.
• Once the heater is ON, turn the Rotary Control ring to the desired Heat Setting.
There are 3 settings to choose from: Fan Only, Low heat, High heat.
-The Fan Only function will allow the fan in the heater to operate without heat.
This will circulate cool air throughout the room.
-To select, turn the Rotary Control ring to the Fan Only position.
-The Low Heat function will gradually bring the heater to the desired
temperature. Low Heat function operates at an energy-saving 400 watts
-To select, turn the Rotary Control ring to the LOW heat position.
-The High Heat function will rapidly bring the heater to the desired temperature.
The High Heat function operates at 800 watts.
-To select, turn the Rotary Control ring to the HIGH heat position.
3) Oscillation ON/OFF
• To activate the oscillation, press the ( ) button. The heater will
oscillate from side to side.
• To turn the oscillation off, press the ( ) button again. The heater will
stop in the direction it was facing when the oscillate button was pushed.
4) Overheat Protection
The heater is equipped with overheat protection, which is activated and powers
the heater OFF if the unit overheats. When the unit overheats and shuts off, the
red Caution light will be lit and will remain lit until the unit cools down. When the
heater cools down, it will turn back on and resume functioning as normal; the red
Caution light will turn off.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
We recommend that the heater be cleaned at least once a month and before
off-season storage.
• Turn the heater to the OFF position and unplug it. Allow it to cool.
• Use a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the heater.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
• Clean your heater using the above-mentioned steps, then disassemble and pack the
heater in its original container and store it in a cool, dry place.
• The motor is factory lubricated and will require no further lubrication.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If heater fails to operate
• Be sure it is plugged in and that the AC outlet is working. Check circuit breaker in
case of a blown circuit.
• Check for any obstruction. If you find an obstruction, turn the Rotary Control
to the OFF position. Unplug the heater and wait at least ten minutes for it to
cool. Carefully remove the obstruction. Plug the heater back in and restart it as
described under OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS.
• If the heater still does not operate, remove the power cord from the AC outlet and
have the heater serviced by authorized SI product service personnel.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
SI PRODUCTS sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.
SI PRODUCTS warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under
normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.
To obtain warranty service on your SI PRODUCTS product, mail the product and your dated sales receipt
(as proof of purchase), postpaid, to the following address:

SI PRODUCTS does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent
consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate SI PRODUCTS in any
way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse;
accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation;
unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped
product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended
maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use
during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other
conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of SI PRODUCTS.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the
product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any
other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or
repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE
SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH
RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. SI PRODUCTS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR
ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY
REQUIRE MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PART OR PARTS WHICH ARE FOUND TO BE
DEFECTIVE WITHIN THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. IF REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE,
SI PRODUCTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS IN LIEU
OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT.
This warranty does not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged and/or resealed
products, including but not limited to sale of such products on Internet auction sites and/or sales of such
products by surplus or bulk resellers. Any and all warranties or guarantees shall immediately cease and
terminate as to any products or parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modified, without
the prior express and written consent of SI PRODUCTS.
This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have additional rights which may vary from

ADVERTENCIA

• Este calentador está caliente cuando está en uso. Para evitar quemaduras,
no permita que la piel descubierta toque la superficie caliente. Si se
proporcionan, utilice las asas para mover este calentador. Mantenga los

ropa y cortinas al menos a 91 cm (3 pies) del frente del calentador y

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Para encender la unidad
• Verifique que ni el artefacto ni el cable de corriente hayan sido dañados.
• Coloque el calentador sobre una superficie firme y nivelada.
• Conecte el cable en un tomacorriente estándar de CA.
Precaución: este artefacto tiene un enchufe polarizado (una paleta es
más ancha que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de descargas, este
enchufe está diseñado para calzar solamente en una dirección en un
tomacorriente polarizado. Si el enchufe no encaja completamente
en el tomacorriente, invierta el enchufe. Si aún así no encaja,
póngase en contacto con un electricista calificado. NO intente
alterar esta característica de seguridad. Hacerlo podría tener como
resultado un peligro de choque eléctrico.
1) Botón de encendido/apagado
• Para ENCENDER el calentador, gire el anillo del Control giratorio hacia la derecha
al valor deseado
• NOTA: la luz amarilla de ENCENDIDO estará iluminada cada vez que el calentador
esté funcionando.
• Para APAGAR el calentador, simplemente gire el anillo del Control giratorio hacia la
izquierda a la posición de APAGADO.

• ENCIENDA el calentador girando el anillo del Control giratorio hacia la derecha
• Una vez que el calentador esté ENCENDIDO, gire el anillo del Control giratorio al
valor de calor deseado.
Hay tres valores de los cuales elegir: Sólo ventilador, calor bajo, calor alto.
-La función de Sólo ventilador permitirá que el ventilador del calentador funcione
sin calor.
Esto hará circular aire fresco a través de la habitación.
-Para seleccionarlo, gire el anillo del Control giratorio a la posición de Sólo
ventilador (FAN ONLY).
-La función de Calor bajo (LOW HEAT) llevará el calentador gradualmente
a la temperatura deseada. La función de Calor bajo funciona a una potencia
económica de 400 vatios
-Para seleccionarlo, gire el anillo del Control giratorio a la posición de Calor bajo
(LOW HEAT).
-La función de Calor alto (HIGH HEAT) llevará el calentador rápidamente a la
temperatura deseada.
La función de Calor alto funciona a 800 vatios.
-Para seleccionarlo, gire el anillo del Control giratorio a la posición de Calor alto
(HIGH HEAT).
3) Encendido y apagado de la oscilación
• Para activar la oscilación , presione el botón de ( ). El calentador
oscilará de un lado al otro.
• Para apagar la oscilación , presione el botón de ( ) nuevamente. El
calentador se detendrá en la dirección que estaba cuando se presionó el botón
de oscilación.
4) Protección contra el sobrecalentamiento
El calentador está equipado con una protección contra el sobrecalentamiento,
que se activa y APAGA el calentador si la unidad se sobrecalienta. Cuando la
unidad se sobrecalienta y se apaga, la luz de Precaución roja se encenderá y
permanecerá encendida hasta que la unidad se enfríe. Cuando el calentador se
enfríe, se volverá a encender y retomará su funcionamiento normal; la luz roja de
Precaución se apagará.
LIMPIEZA Y ALMACENAMIENTO
Recomendamos que se limpie el calentador al menos una vez al mes y antes de
guardarlo al terminar la temporada de uso.
• APAGUE el calentador y desenchúfelo. Permita que se enfríe.
• Use un paño seco para limpiar las superficies externas del calentador.
NO USE AGUA, CERA, LUSTRADOR NI NINGUNA SOLUCIÓN QUÍMICA.
• Limpie su calentador siguiendo los pasos antemencionados, luego desensamble y
empaque el calentador en su embalaje original y guárdelo en un lugar fresco y seco.
• El motor está lubricado de fábrica y no requerirá más lubricación.
RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
Si el calentador no funciona
• Asegúrese de que esté conectado y de que el tomacorriente de CA esté
funcionando. Controle el disyuntor en el caso de un circuito quemado.
• Controle cualquier obstrucción. Si encuentra una obstrucción, gire el Control
giratorio a la posición de apagado (OFF). Desenchufe el calentador y espere
al menos diez minutos para que se enfríe. Elimine la obstrucción con cuidado.
Vuelva a enchufar el calentador y enciéndalo nuevamente como se describe en
“INSTRUCCIONES DE USO”.
• Si el calentador aún no funciona, quite el cable de corriente del tomacorriente de
CA y haga que personal de servicio autorizado de SI Product realice el servicio al
calentador.
