1. SAFETY INFORMATION

Before the installation and use of the appliance, carefully

read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not

responsible if an incorrect installation and use causes

injuries and damages. Always keep the instructions with

the appliance for future reference.

1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8

years and above and persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and

knowledge if they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe

way and understand the hazards involved.

• Do not let children play with the appliance.

• Keep all packaging away from children.

• Keep all detergents away from children.

• Keep children and pets away from the appliance door

when it is open.

• If the appliance has a child safety device, we

recommend you activate it.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

1.2 General Safety

• Do not change the specification of this appliance.

• Obey the maximum load volume of 8 kg (refer to the

“Programme chart” chapter).

• The operating water pressure (minimum and maximum)

must be between 0,5 bar (0,05 MPa) and 8 bar (0,8

MPa).

• The ventilation openings in the base (if applicable) must

not be obstructed by a carpet.

• The appliance is to be connected to the water mains

using the new supplied hose-sets. Old hose sets must

not be reused.

ENGLISH

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by

the manufacturer, its Authorised Service Centre or

similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• Before maintenance, deactivate the appliance and

disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

• Do not use water spray and steam to clean the

appliance.

• Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use

neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive products,

abrasive cleaning pads, solvents or metal objects.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

2.1 Installation

• Remove all the packaging and the

transit bolts.

•

Keep the transit bolts. When you move

the appliance again you must block the

drum.

• Always be careful when you move the

appliance because it is heavy. Always

wear safety gloves.

• Do not install or use a damaged

appliance.

• Obey the installation instruction

supplied with the appliance.

• Do not install or use the appliance

where the temperature is less than 0

°C or where it is exposed to the

weather.

• Make sure that the floor where you

install the appliance is flat, stable, heat

resistant and clean.

• Do not install the appliance where the

appliance door can not be fully

opened.

• Make sure that there is air circulation

between the appliance and the floor.

• Adjust the feet to have the necessary

space between the appliance and the

carpet.

2.2 Electrical Connection

• The appliance must be earthed.

• Always use a correctly installed

shockproof socket.

• Make sure that the electrical

information on the rating plate agrees

with the power supply. If not contact

an electrician.

• Do not use multi-plug adapters and

extension cables.

• Make sure not to cause damage to the

mains plug and to the mains cable.

Should the mains cable need to be

replaced, this must be carried out by

our Authorised Service Centre.

• Connect the mains plug to the mains

socket only at the end of the

installation. Make sure that there is

access to the mains plug after the

installation.

• Do not touch the mains cable or the

mains plug with wet hands.

• Do not pull the mains cable to

disconnect the appliance. Always pull

the mains plug.

• Only for UK and Ireland: The appliance

has a 13 amp mains plug. If it is

necessary to change the fuse in the

mains plug, use a 13 amp ASTA (BS

1362) fuse.

• This appliance complies with the E.E.C.

Directives.

2.3 Water connection

• Make sure not to cause damage to the

water hoses.

• Before you connect the appliance to

new pipes or pipes not used for a long

time, let the water flow until it is clean.

• The first time you use the appliance,

make sure that there is no leakage.

2.4 Use

WARNING!

Risk of injury, electrical shock,

fire, burns or damage to the

appliance.

• Use this appliance in a household only.

• Obey the safety instructions on the

detergent packaging.

•

Do not put flammable products or

items that are wet with flammable

products in, near or on the appliance.

• Make sure that you remove all metal

objects from the laundry.

• Do not put a container to collect

possible water leakage under the

appliance. Contact the Authorised

Service Centre to ensure which

accessories can be used.

• Do not touch the glass of the door

while a programme operates. The

glass can be hot.

Disposal

WARNING!

Risk of injury or suffocation.

• Disconnect the appliance from the

mains supply.

• Cut off the mains cable and discard it.

• Remove the door catch to prevent

children and pets to get closed in the

appliance.

3.2 How to activate the child

safety device

This device prevents children or pets to be

closed in the drum.

Turn the device clockwise, until the groove

is horizontal.

You cannot close the door.

To close the door, turn the device

anticlockwise until the groove is vertical.

If you install the appliance on a plinth,

secure the appliance in the fixing plates.

Steam can be used for dried, washed or worn once laundry. These programmes can

reduce creases and odours and make your laundry more soft.

Do not use any detergent. If necessary, remove stains by washing or using localized

stain removal.

Steam programmes do not perform any hygienic cycle.

Do not set a Steam programme with these types of items:

items where it is not specified on the care label as being suitable for tumble drying.

•

all items with plastic, metal, wooden parts or alike.

Standard programmes for the Energy Label consumption values. According to regu-

lation 1061/2010, these programmes are respectively the «Standard 60°C cotton programme»

and the «Standard 40°C cotton programme». They are the most efficient programmes in terms

of combined energy and water consumption for washing normally soiled cotton laundry.

The water temperature of the washing phase may differ from the temperature de-

clared for the selected programme.

During this cycle the drum rotates slowly to ensure a gentle washing. It can seem that the

drum doesn't rotate or doesn't rotate properly. Consider this as a normal functioning of the ap-

pliance.

Set the spin speed. Make sure it agrees with the laundry. If you set No Spin option the only

drain phase is available.

If you set a Steam programme with dried laundry, at the end of the cycle the laundry could

be humid. It is better to expose the items to the fresh air for about 10 minutes to let the humid-

ity dry. When the programme is completed, quickly remove the laundry from the drum. After a

steam cycle, items may to be ironed anyway, but with less effort!

Steam does not remove animal odours.

6. CONSUMPTION VALUES

The data of this table are approximate. Different causes can change the da-

ta: the quantity and type of laundry, the water and ambient temperature.

At programme start the display shows the duration programme for the maxi-

mum load capacity.

During the washing phase the programme duration is

automatically calculated and can be greatly reduced if the laundry load is

lower than the maximum load capacity (e.g. Cotton 60°C, maximum load

capacity 8 kg, the programme duration exceeds 2 hours; real load 1 kg, the

programme duration don’t reach 1 hour). When the appliance is calculating

the real programme duration a dot blinks in the display.

7. OPTIONS

7.1 Temperatura

Set this option to change the default

temperature.

Indicator = cold water.

The display shows the set temperature.

7.2 Centrifugar

With this option you can decrease the

default spin speed.

The display shows the indicator of the set

speed.

Additional spin options:

No Spin

• Set this option to remove all spin

phases.

•

Set it for very delicate fabrics.

• The rinse phase uses more water for

some washing programmes.

• The display shows the indicator

Rinse Hold

• Set this option to prevent the laundry

creases.

•

The washing programme stops with

the water in the drum. The drum turns

regularly to prevent the laundry

creases.

• The door stays locked. You must drain

the water to unlock the door.

• The display shows the indicator

To drain the water refer to ‘At

the end of the programme’.

Extra Silent

• Set this option to remove all spin

phases and to perform a silent

washing.

The rinse phase uses more water for

some washing programmes.

• The washing programme stops with

the water in the drum. The drum turns

• The door stays locked. You must drain

the water to unlock the door.

7.3 Prelava.

With this option you can add a prewash

phase to a washing programme.

Use this option for heavy soil.

When you set this option the programme

duration increases.

The related indicator comes on.

7.4 Inicio Diferido

With this option you can delay the start of

a programme from 30 minutes to 20

hours.

The display shows the related indicator.

7.5 Extra Aclarado/Enxag.

With this option you can add some rinses

to a washing programme.

Use this option for persons allergic to

detergents and in areas where the water is

soft.

The related indicator comes on.

7.6 Fácil

The appliance carefully washes and spins

the laundry to prevent the creases.

The appliance decreases the spin speed,

uses more water and adapts the

programme duration to the type of

laundry.

7.7 Time Manager

When you set a washing programme, the

display shows the default duration.

Press or to decrease or increase

the programme duration.

The Time Manager is available only with

the programmes in the table.

Shortest: to fresh the laundry.

Longest: Increasing the programme dura-

tion gradually decreases the energy con-

sumption. The optimized heating phase

saves energy and the longer duration main-

tains the same washing results (specially for

normal soil).

8. SETTINGS

8.1 Child Lock

With this option you can prevent that the

children play with the control panel.

• To

activate/deactivate this option,

press

and at the same time

until the indicator comes on/goes

off.

You can activate this option:

• After you press : the options and

the programme knob are locked.

• Before you press : the appliance

cannot start.

8.2 Permanent Extra Rinse

With this option you can permanently have

an extra rinse when you set a new

programme.

• To activate/deactivate this option

press and at the same time

until the indicator comes on/goes

off.

8.3 Acoustic signals

The acoustic signals operate when:

• The programme is completed.

•

The appliance has a malfunction.

To deactivate/activate the acoustic

signals, press

and at the same

time for 6 seconds.

If you deactivate the acoustic

signals, they continue operate

when the appliance has a

malfunction.

9. BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Put a small quantity of detergent in the

compartment for washing phase.

2. Set and start a programme for cotton

at the highest temperature without

laundry.

This removes all possible dirt from the

drum and the tub.

10. DAILY USE

WARNING!

Refer to Safety chapters.

10.1 Loading the laundry

1. Open the appliance door

2. Put the laundry in the drum, one item

at a time.

3. Shake the items before you put them

in the appliance.

Make sure not to put too much laundry in

the drum.

4. Close the door.

CAUTION!

Make sure that no laundry stays between

the seal and the door. There is a risk of

water leakage or damage to the laundry.

10.2 Using detergent and

additives

1. Measure out the detergent and the

fabric conditioner.

2. Carefully close the detergent drawer

10.3 Detergent compartments

Detergent compartment for prewash phase.

Detergent compartment for washing phase.

Compartment for liquid additives (fabric conditioner, starch).

Flap for powder or liquid detergent.

10.4 Liquid or powder detergent

• Position A for powder detergent (factory setting).

When you use the liquid detergent:

• Do not use gelatinous or thick liquid detergents.

Do not put more liquid then the maximum level.

• Do not set the prewash phase.

• Do not set the delay start.

10.5 Activating the appliance

Press the

button to activate or

deactivate the appliance. A tune sounds

when the appliance is activated.

10.6 Setting a programme

1. Turn the programme knob and set the

programme:

• The related programme indicator

comes on.

•

The indicator of the

flashes.

• The display shows the level of the

Time Manager, the programme

duration and the indicators of the

programme phases.

2. If necessary, change the temperature,

the spin speed, the cycle duration or

add available options. When you

activate an option, the indicator of the

set option comes on.

If you set something incorrect,

the display shows the message

10.7 Starting a programme

without the delay start

Press the .

• The indicator of the stops to

flash and stays on.

locks, the display shows the

• The drain pump can operate for a

short time when the appliance fills

water.

After approximately 15 minutes

from the start of the

10.8 Starting a programme with

the delay start

1. Press

again and again until the

display shows the delay you want to

set.

The related indicator comes on the

display.

2. Press :

• The appliance starts the

countdown.

•

When the countdown is

completed, the programme starts

automatically.

You can cancel or change the

set of the delay start before

you press the . To cancel

the delay start:

• Press to set the

appliance to pause.

• Press until the

display shows '.

• Press again to start

the programme

immediately.

10.9 Interrupting a programme

and changing the options

You can change only some options before

they operate.

1. Press .

The indicator flashes.

2. Change the options.

3. Press again.

The programme continues.

10.10 Cancelling a programme

1. Press the button for some seconds

to cancel the programme and to

deactivate the appliance.

2. Press the same button again to

activate the appliance. Now, you can

set a new washing programme.

Before starting the new

programme the appliance

drains the water. Make sure

that the detergent is still in the

detergent compartment, if not

fill the detergent again.

10.11 Opening the door

CAUTION!

If the temperature and level of

the water in the drum are too

high and the drum still rotates,

you cannot open the door.

While a programme or the delay start

operates, the appliance door is locked

and the display shows the indicator

Open the appliance door when the

programme or the delay start

operates:

1. Press

to pause the appliance.

2. Wait until the door lock indicator

goes off.

3. Open the door.

4. Close the door and press again .

The programme or delay start continues

to operate.

10.12 At the end of the

programme

• The appliance stops automatically.

• The acoustic signal operates (if it is

activated).

•

In the display

comes on.

• The indicator of the goes off.

• The door lock indicator goes off.

• You can open the door.

Remove the laundry from the

appliance. Make sure that the drum is

empty.

• Close the water tap.

• Press the button

for some seconds

to deactivate the appliance.

• Keep the door ajar, to prevent the

mildew and odours.

The washing programme is

completed, but there is water in the

drum:

•

The drum turns regularly to prevent the

creases in the laundry.

• The door lock indicator

is on. The

door stays locked.

• You must drain the water to open the

door.

To drain the water:

1. Press . The appliance drains the

water and spins.

2. To make the appliance drain only, set

. If necessary, decrease the

spin speed.

3. When the programme is completed

and the door lock indicator goes

off, you can open the door.

4. Press the button for some seconds

to deactivate the appliance.

The appliance drains and spins

automatically after

approximately 18 hours (except

for Wool programme).

10.13 AUTO Stand-by option

The AUTO Stand-by option automatically

deactivates the appliance to decrease the

energy consumption when:

• You do not use the appliance for 5

minutes before you press .

Press the button to activate the

appliance again.

• After 5 minutes from the end of the

washing programme

Press the button to activate the

appliance again.

The display shows the end of the last

set programme.

Turn the programme knob to set a new

cycle.

11. HINTS AND TIPS

WARNING!

Refer to Safety chapters.

11.1 The laundry load

• Divide the laundry in: white, coloured,

synthetics, delicates and wool.

• Obey the washing instructions that are

on the laundry care labels.

•

Do not wash together white and

coloured items.

• Some coloured items can discolour

with the first wash. We recommend

that you wash them separately for the

first times.

• Button up pillowcases, close zippers,

hooks and poppers. Tie up belts.

• Empty the pockets and unfold the

items.

• Turn inside out multilayered fabrics,

wool and items with painted

illustrations.

• Remove hard stains.

•

Wash with a special detergent heavy

soil stains.

• Be careful with the curtains. Remove

the hooks or put the curtains in a

washing bag or pillowcase.

• Do not wash in the appliance laundry

without hems or with cuts. Use a

washing bag to wash small and/or

delicate items (e.g. underwired bras,

belts, tights, etc. ).

• A very small load can cause balance

problems with the spin phase. If this

occurs, adjust manually the items in

the tub and start the spin phase again.

11.2 Stubborn stains

For some stains, water and detergent is

not sufficient.

We recommend that you remove these

stains before you put the items in the

appliance.

Special stain removers are available. Use

the special stain remover that is applicable

to the type of stain and fabric.

11.3 Detergents and additives

• Only use detergents and additives

specially made for washing machines:

– powder detergents for all types of

fabric,

–

powder detergents for delicate

fabrics (40 °C max) and woollens,

– liquid detergents, preferably for low

temperature wash programmes (60

°C max) for all types of fabric, or

special for woollens only.

• Do not mix different types of

detergents.

• To help the environment, do not use

more than the correct quantity of

detergent.

• Obey the instructions that you find on

the on packaging of these products.

• Use the correct products for the type

and colour of the fabric, the

programme temperature and the level

of soil.

• If your appliance has not the detergent

dispenser with the flap device, add the

liquid detergents with a dosing ball

(supplied by the detergent's

manufacturer).

11.4 Ecological hints

• Set a programme without the prewash

phase to wash laundry with normal soil.

• Always start a washing programme

with the maximum load of laundry.

• If necessary, use a stain remover when

you set a programme with a low

temperature.

• To use the correct quantity of the

detergent, check the water hardness of

your domestic system

11.5 Water hardness

If the water hardness in your area is high

or moderate, we recommend that you use

a water softener for washing machines. In

areas where the water hardness is soft it is

not necessary to use a water softener.

To know the water hardness in your area,

contact your local water authority.

Use the correct quantity of the water

softener. Obey the instructions that you

find on the packaging of the product.

12. CARE AND CLEANING

WARNING!

Refer to Safety chapters.

12.1 External cleaning

Clean the appliance only with soap and

warm water. Fully dry all the surfaces.

CAUTION!

If the water hardness in your area is high

or moderate, we recommend that you use

a water softener for washing machines.

Regularly examine the drum to prevent

limescale and rust particles.

To remove rust particles use only special

products for washing machine. Do this

separately from the laundry wash.

12.3 Maintenance wash

With the low temperature programmes it is

possible that some detergent stays in the

drum. Make regularly a maintenance

wash. To do this:

• Remove the laundry from the drum.

Because of a malfunction, the appliance

cannot drain the water.

If this occurs, do steps (1) through (9) of

'Cleaning the drain filter'. If necessary,

clean the pump.

When you drain the water with the

emergency drain procedure, you must

activate again the drain system:

12.9 Frost precautions

If the appliance is installed in an area

where the temperature can be less than

0° C, remove the remaining water from the

inlet hose and the drain pump.

1. Disconnect the mains plug from the

mains socket.

2. Close the water tap.

3. Put the two ends of the inlet hose in a

container and let the water flow out of

the hose.

4. Empty the drain pump. Refer to the

emergency drain procedure.

5. When the drain pump is empty, install

the inlet hose again.

13. TROUBLESHOOTING

13.1 Introduction

The start of the appliance does not occur

or it stops during operation.

First try to find a solution to the problem

(refer to the table). If not, contact the

Authorised Service Centre.

With some problems, the acoustic

signals operate and the display shows

an alarm code:

•

- The appliance does not fill with

water properly.

• - The appliance does not drain

the water.

• - The appliance door is open or

not closed correctly. Please check the

door!

• - The mains supply is unstable.

Wait until the mains supply is stable.

WARNING!

Deactivate the appliance

before you do the checks.

13.2 Possible failures

and there is not water leakages.

Make sure that the drain hose have no damages.

Make sure you use the correct detergent and the correct

quantity of it.

You cannot open the

appliance door.

Make sure that the washing programme is finished.

Set the drain or the spin programme if there is water in the

drum.

Make sure that the appliance receives electrical power.

Contact the Authorised Service Centre. If you need to open

the door, please read carefully «Emergency door opening».

The appliance makes an

unusual noise.

Make sure the levelling of the appliance is correct. Refer to

'Installation'.

Make sure that the packaging and/or the transit bolts are re-

moved. Refer to 'Installation'.

Add more laundry in the drum. The load may be too small.

The cycle is shorter than

the time displayed.

The appliance calculates a new time according to the laundry

load. See the ‘Consumption Values’ chapter.

The cycle is longer than

the time displayed.

An unbalanced laundry load increases the duration time. This

is a normal behaviour of the appliance.

The washing results are

not satisfactory.

Increase the detergent quantity or use a different detergent.

Use special products to remove the stubborn stains before

you wash the laundry.

Make sure that you set the correct temperature.

Decrease the laundry load.

You cannot set an op-

tion.

Make sure that you press only the wanted touch button(s).

After the check, activate the appliance. The programme continues from the point of

interruption.

If the problem occurs again, contact the Authorised Service Centre.

If the display shows other alarm codes. Deactivate and activate the appliance. If the problem

continues, contact the Authorised Service Centre.

14. EMERGENCY DOOR OPENING

In case of power failure or appliance failure

the appliance door remains locked. The

washing programme continues, when the

power is restored. If the door remains

locked in case of failure, it is possible to

open it using the emergency unlock

feature.

Before opening the door:

CAUTION!

Make sure that the water

temperature and the laundry

are not hot. Wait till they

cool down, if necessary.

Make sure that the drum is

not rotating. Wait till the

drum stops rotating, if

necessary.

Make sure that the water

level inside the drum is not

too high. Proceed with an

emergency drain, if

necessary (refer to

«Emergency drain» in «Care

and cleaning» chapter).

To open the door, proceed as follows:

1. INFORMACIÓN SOBRE SEGURIDAD

1.1 Seguridad de niños y personas vulnerables

• Este electrodoméstico puede ser utilizado por niños de

8 años en adelante y personas cuyas capacidades

físicas, sensoriales o mentales estén disminuidas o que

carezcan de la experiencia y conocimientos suficientes

para manejarlo, siempre que cuenten con las

instrucciones o la supervisión sobre el uso del

electrodoméstico de forma segura y comprendan los

1.2 Instrucciones generales de seguridad

• No cambie las especificaciones de este aparato.

• Respete la carga máxima de 8 kg (consulte el capítulo

“Tabla de programas”).

• La presión de trabajo del agua (mínima y máxima) debe

oscilar entre 0,5 bares (0,05 MPa) y 8 bares (0,8 MPa)

• Vigile que ninguna alfombra obstruya las aberturas de

ventilación de la base (si existen).

• El aparato debe conectarse a la toma de agua

utilizando los nuevos juegos de tubos suministrados.

No se deben reutilizar los juegos de tubos antiguos.

que cambiarlo para evitar riesgos

• Antes de proceder con el mantenimiento, apague el

• No utilice pulverizadores ni vapor de agua para limpiar

el aparato.

• Limpie el aparato con un paño suave humedecido.

Utilice solo detergentes neutros. No utilice productos

abrasivos, estropajos duros, disolventes ni objetos

2. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

2.1 Instalación

• Retire todo el embalaje y los pasadores

de transporte.

•

Guarde los pasadores de transporte.

Cuando vuelva a mover el aparato

debe bloquear el tambor.

• El aparato es pesado, tenga cuidado

siempre cuando lo mueva. Utilice

siempre guantes de protección.

• No instale ni utilice un aparato dañado.

• Siga las instrucciones de instalación

suministradas con el aparato.

• No instale ni utilice el aparato si la

temperatura es inferior a 0 °C o si está

expuesto a la intemperie.

• Asegúrese de instalar el aparato en un

suelo plano, estable, resistente al calor

y limpio.

• No coloque el aparato donde la puerta

no se pueda abrir completamente.

• Compruebe que el aire circula

libremente entre el aparato y el suelo.

• Ajuste las patas para disponer del

espacio necesario entre el aparato y la

moqueta.

2.2 Conexión eléctrica

• El aparato debe conectarse a tierra.

• Utilice siempre una toma con

aislamiento de conexión a tierra

correctamente instalada.

• Asegúrese de que las especificaciones

eléctricas de la placa coincidan con las

del suministro eléctrico de su hogar. En

caso contrario, póngase en contacto

con un electricista.

• No utilice adaptadores de enchufes

múltiples ni cables prolongadores.

• Asegúrese de no provocar daños en el

enchufe ni en el cable de red. Si es

necesario cambiar el cable de

alimentación del aparato, debe hacerlo

el centro de servicio técnico

autorizado.

• Conecte el enchufe a la toma de

terminado la instalación. Asegúrese de

tener acceso al enchufe del suministro

• No toque el cable de red ni el enchufe

de seguridad para niños

El vapor se puede usar para las prendas secadas, lavadas o que se han puesto una

vez. Estos programas pueden reducir la cantidad de arrugas y los olores y suavizar las

prendas.

No utilice detergente. Si es necesario, elimine las manchas lavando o con quitaman-

chas en las zonas manchadas.

Los programas de vapor no realizan un ciclo higiénico.

No ajuste el programa de vapor para este tipo de prendas:

• prendas cuya etiqueta de instrucciones no especifique claramente que pueden se-

carse en secadora

• prendas con plástico, metal, madera o similares.

Programas estándar para los valores de consumo de la etiqueta energética. Según

la norma 1061/2010, estos programas son respectivamente el «programa estándar de algo-

dón a 60°C» y el «programa estándar de algodón a 40°C». Son los programas más eficaces

en cuanto a consumo de agua y energía para el lavado de algodón de suciedad normal.

La temperatura del agua en la fase de lavado puede ser distinta de la introducida

para el programa seleccionado.

Durante este ciclo, el tambor gira lentamente para asegurar un lavado suave. Puede parec-

er que el tambor no gira o que no lo hace adecuadamente. Es un comportamiento normal del

aparato.

Ajuste la velocidad de centrifugado. Asegúrese de que coincide con la colada. Si se ajusta

la opción Sin centrifugado solo está disponible la fase de desagüe.

Si ajusta un programa de vapor con la colada seca, al final del ciclo las prendas tienen un

tacto húmedo. Es mejor exponer las prendas al aire fresco durante unos 10 minutos para que

se seque la humedad. Una vez terminado el programa, saque rápidamente la colada del tam-

bor. Después de un ciclo de vapor, quizá deba planchar de todos modos, ¡pero con menos

esfuerzo!

El vapor no elimina los olores de animales.

Los datos de esta tabla son aproximados. Los datos pueden cambiar por

Al inicio del programa, la pantalla muestra la duración para la capacidad de

carga máxima.

Durante la fase de lavado, la duración del programa se cal-

cula automáticamente y se puede reducir mucho si la carga es inferior a la

capacidad de carga máxima (p. ej., algodón 60°C, capacidad de carga

máxima 8 kg, la duración del programa supera 2 horas; carga real 1 kg, la

duración del programa no alcanza 1 hora). Cuando el aparato está calculan-

do la duración real del programa, un punto parpadea en la pantalla.

7. OPCIONES

7.1 Temperatura

Ajuste esta opción para cambiar la

temperatura predeterminada.

Indicador = agua fría.

En la pantalla aparece la temperatura

seleccionada.

7.2 Centrifugar

Con esta opción puede reducir la

velocidad de centrifugado

predeterminada.

En la pantalla aparece el indicador de la

velocidad ajustada.

Opciones adicionales de centrifugado:

• Ajuste esta opción para eliminar todas

las fases de centrifugado.

• Ajústelo para tejidos muy delicados.

7.3 Prelava.

Con esta opción, puede añadir una fase

de prelavado a un programa de lavado.

Use esta opción para suciedad intensa.

Cuando se selecciona esta opción,

aumenta la duración del programa.

Se enciende el indicador.

7.4 Inicio Diferido

Con esta opción puede retrasar el inicio

de un programa entre 30 minutos y 20

horas.

La pantalla muestra el indicador

correspondiente.

7.5 Extra Aclarado/Enxag.

Con esta opción, puede añadir algunos

aclarados a un programa de lavado.

Utilice esta opción para personas

alérgicas al detergente y en zonas en las

que el agua sea blanda.

Se enciende el indicador.

7.6 Fácil

El aparato lava y centrifuga

cuidadosamente la colada para evitar la

formación de arrugas.

El aparato reduce la velocidad de

centrifugado, utiliza más agua y adapta la

duración del programa al tipo de colada.

Se enciende el indicador correspondiente.

7.7 Administrador de tiempo

Cuando se ajusta un programa de lavado,

la pantalla muestra la duración

predeterminada.

Pulse o para reducir o aumentar la

duración del programa.

8. AJUSTES

8.1 Bloqueo de seguridad para

niños

Con esta opción puede evitar que los

niños jueguen con el panel de control.

• Después de pulsar : se bloquean

8.2 Aclarado extra permanente

Con esta opción puede tener de forma

permanente un aclarado extra cuando

ajuste un nuevo programa.

• Para activar/desactivar esta opción,

pulse y al mismo tiempo hasta

que se ilumine/apague el indicador .

8.3 Señales acústicas

Se activan las señales acústicas cuando:

• El programa se termina.

•

Se ha producido algún fallo en el

aparato.

Para desactivar/activar las señales

acústicas, pulse

y al mismo

tiempo durante 6 segundos.

Si se desactivan las señales

acústicas, siguen funcionando

cuando el aparato presenta

una avería.

9. ANTES DEL PRIMER USO

1. Ponga una pequeña cantidad de

detergente en el compartimento para

la fase de lavado.

2. Ajuste e inicie un programa para

algodón a la temperatura más alta sin

colada.

De esta forma se elimina toda la posible

suciedad del tambor y de la cuba.

10.1 Cargar la colada

1. Abra la puerta del aparato

2. Introduzca las prendas en el tambor,

una por una.

3. Sacuda las prendas antes de

colocarlas en el aparato.

Puede cambiar únicamente algunas

opciones antes de usarlas.

3. Vuelva a pulsar .

El programa continúa.

10.10 Cancelación de un

programa

1. Pulse la tecla unos segundos para

cancelar el programa y apagar el

aparato.

2. Vuelva a pulsar la misma tecla para

encender el aparato. Ahora puede

ajustar un nuevo programa de lavado.

Antes de empezar un nuevo

programa, el aparato drena el

agua. Asegúrese de que queda

detergente en el

compartimento, de lo contrario,

rellénelo.

10.11 Apertura de la puerta

PRECAUCIÓN!

Si la temperatura y el nivel de

agua del tambor son

demasiado elevados y el

tambor sigue girando, no se

puede abrir la puerta.

Mientras un programa o el inicio diferido

están en marcha, la puerta del aparato

está bloqueada y la pantalla muestra el

indicador .

Abra la puerta del aparato cuando

esté funcionando el programa o el

inicio diferido:

1. Pulse para realizar una pausa en

el aparato.

2. Espere hasta que el indicador de

bloqueo de la puerta se apague.

3. Abra la puerta.

4. Cierre la puerta y pulse de nuevo.

El programa o el inicio diferido continúa

funcionando.

10.12 Al finalizar el programa

• El aparato se para automáticamente.

• Suena la señal acústica, si está

activada.

•

Se enciende

en la pantalla.

• El indicador de se apaga.

• El indicador de bloqueo de la puerta

se apaga.

• Puede abrir la puerta.

•

Retire la colada del aparato. Asegúrese

de que el tambor está totalmente

vacío.

• Cierre la llave de paso.

• Pulse la tecla

durante unos

segundos para apagar el aparato.

• Deje la puerta entreabierta para evitar

la formación de moho y olores

desagradables.

El programa de lavado ha finalizado,

pero hay agua en el tambor:

•

El tambor gira regularmente para evitar

arrugas en las prendas.

la puerta . La puerta permanece

bloqueada.

• Debe vaciar el agua para abrir la

puerta.

Para descargar el agua:

1. Pulse . El aparato desagua y

centrifuga.

2. Para que el aparato sólo seque, ajuste

. Si fuera necesario, reduzca la

velocidad de centrifugado.

3. Cuando el programa termina y el

indicador de bloqueo de la puerta

se apaga, puede abrir la puerta.

4. Pulse la tecla durante unos

segundos para apagar el aparato.

El aparato desagua y

centrifuga automáticamente

después de unas 18 horas

(excepto con el programa de

lana).

10.13 Opción Espera AUTO

La opción Espera AUTO apaga

automáticamente el aparato para reducir

el consumo de energía cuando:

•

No se utiliza el aparato durante 5

minutos antes de pulsar .

Pulse la tecla para encender el

aparato de nuevo.

• Transcurridos 5 minutos desde el final

del programa de lavado

Pulse la tecla para encender el

aparato de nuevo.

La pantalla muestra el final del último

programa seleccionado.

Gire el selector de programas para

ajustar un nuevo ciclo.

11. CONSEJOS

11.1 Introducir colada

• Divida la colada en: ropa blanca, ropa

de color, ropa sintética, prendas

delicadas y prendas de lana.

• Siga las instrucciones de lavado que se

encuentran en las etiquetas de las

prendas.

•

No lave juntas las prendas blancas y

de color.

• Algunas prendas de color pueden

desteñir en el primer lavado. Se

recomienda lavarlas por separado la

primera vez.

• Abotone las fundas de almohadas y

cierre las cremalleras, los ganchos y

los broches. Ate las correas.

• Vacíe los bolsillos y despliegue las

prendas.

• Dé la vuelta a las prendas de varias

capas, de lana y con motivos pintados.

• Retire las manchas difíciles.

• Lave con detergente especial las

manchas difíciles.

• Tenga cuidado con las cortinas. Quite

los ganchos o coloque las cortinas en

una bolsa para lavadora o funda de

almohada.

•

No lave en el aparato prendas sin

dobladillos o desgarradas. Use una

bolsa para lavadora para lavar las

prendas pequeñas y delicadas (p. ej.,

sujetadores con aros, cinturones,

medias, etc.).

• Una carga muy pequeña puede

provocar problemas de desequilibrio

en la fase de centrifugado. Si esto

ocurre, ajuste manualmente las

prendas en la cuba e inicie de nuevo la

fase de centrifugado.

11.2 Manchas difíciles

Para algunas manchas, el agua y el

detergente no son suficientes.

Se recomienda eliminar estas manchas

antes de colocar las prendas en el

aparato.

Existen quitamanchas especiales. Utilice el

quitamanchas especial adecuado al tipo

de mancha y tejido.

11.3 Detergentes y aditivos

• Utilice solo detergentes y aditivos

especialmente fabricados para

lavadoras:

– detergente en polvo para todo tipo

de prendas,

–

detergente en polvo para prendas

delicadas (40 °C máx.) y lana,

– detergente líquido para todo tipo

de tejidos o especial para lana,

preferiblemente para programas de

lavado a baja temperatura (60 °C

máx.).

• No mezcle diferentes tipos de

detergentes.

• Para respetar el medio ambiente, no

ponga más detergente del necesario.

• Siga siempre las instrucciones que se

encuentran en el envase de estos

productos.

• Use los productos adecuados para el

tipo y color del tejido, la temperatura

del programa y el grado de suciedad.

• Si el aparato no tiene el dosificador de

detergente con dispositivo de

compuerta, añada los detergentes

líquidos con una bola dosificadora

(suministrada por el fabricante del

detergente).

11.4 Consejos ecológicos

• Ajuste un programa sin la fase de

prelavado para lavar ropa con

suciedad normal.

• Empiece siempre un programa de

lavado con la carga de colada máxima.

• Si fuera necesario, utilice un

quitamanchas cuando ajuste un

programa a baja temperatura.

• Para utilizar la cantidad correcta de

detergente, compruebe la dureza del

agua de su sistema doméstico

11.5 Dureza del agua

Si la dureza del agua de su zona es alta o

moderada, se recomienda usar un

descalcificador de agua para lavadoras.

En las zonas en las que la dureza del agua

sea baja, no es necesario utilizar un

descalcificador.

Póngase en comunicación con las

autoridades correspondientes para

conocer la dureza del agua de su zona.

Utilice la cantidad correcta de

descalcificador. Siga las instrucciones que

encontrará en el envase del producto.

12. MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA

ADVERTENCIA!

seguridad.

12.1 Limpieza del exterior

Limpie el aparato solo con agua templada

y jabón. Seque completamente todas las

superficies.

PRECAUCIÓN!

No utilice alcohol, disolventes

ni otros productos químicos.

12.2 Descalcificación

Si la dureza del agua de su zona es alta o

moderada, se recomienda usar un

descalcificador de agua para lavadoras.

Examine periódicamente el tambor para

evitar la formación de cal y partículas de

óxido.

Para eliminar partículas de oxidación,

utilice productos especiales para

lavadoras. Hágalo de forma separada del

lavado de la colada.

Siga siempre las instrucciones

que encontrará en el envase

del producto.

12.3 Lavado de mantenimiento

Con los programas a baja temperatura, es

posible que quede algo de detergente en

el tambor. Realice periódicamente un

lavado de mantenimiento. Para ello:

•

Saque las prendas del tambor.

temperatura más alta y utilice una

pequeña cantidad de detergente.

12.4 Junta de estanqueidad de

la puerta

Examine periódicamente la junta y extraiga

todos los objetos de la pieza interior.

12.8 Desagüe de emergencia

Debido a una avería, el aparato no puede

desaguar.

Si esto ocurre, realice los pasos 1) a 9) del

apartado "Limpieza del filtro de desagüe".

Limpie la bomba si fuera necesario.

Cuando se desagua con el procedimiento

de drenaje de emergencia, se debe activar

de nuevo el sistema de desagüe:

1. Cuando se desagua con el

procedimiento de drenaje de

emergencia, se debe activar de nuevo

el sistema de desagüe: Eche 2 litros

de agua en el compartimento de

lavado principal del dosificador de

detergente.

2. Inicie el programa para desaguar.

12.9 Medidas anticongelación

Si el aparato está instalado en una zona

donde la temperatura puede llegar a ser

inferior a 0°, retire el agua restante del

tubo de entrada y la bomba de desagüe.

1. Desenchufe el aparato de la toma de

red.

2. Cierre la llave de paso.

3. Coloque los dos extremos del tubo de

entrada en un recipiente y deje que

salga el agua.

4. Vacíe la bomba de descarga.

Consulte el procedimiento de desagüe

de emergencia.

5. Cuando la bomba esté vacía, coloque

de nuevo la manguera.

ADVERTENCIA!

Asegúrese de que la

temperatura es superior a 0 °C

antes de usar de nuevo el

aparato. El fabricante no se

hace responsable de los daños

derivados de las bajas

temperaturas.

13. SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

13.1 Introducción

El aparato no se pone en marcha o se

detiene durante el funcionamiento.

Primero, intente buscar una solución al

problema (consulte la tabla). Si no la

encuentra, póngase en contacto con el

servicio técnico.

Con algunos problemas, las señales

acústicas funcionan y la pantalla

muestra un código de alarma:

•

- El aparato no carga agua

correctamente.

• - El aparato no desagua.

• - La puerta del aparato está

abierta o no está bien cerrada. Revise

la puerta.

• - La corriente eléctrica es

inestable. Espere hasta que la corriente

eléctrica se estabilice.

ADVERTENCIA!

Apague el aparato antes de

realizar las comprobaciones.

13.2 Fallo posible

El programa no se pone

Asegúrese de que el enchufe está conectado a la toma de

corriente.

Compruebe que la manguera de desagüe está conectada

correctamente.

Ajuste el programa de descarga si selecciona un programa

sin la fase de descarga.

Ajuste el programa de descarga si selecciona una opción

que termina con agua en la cuba.

La fase de centrifugado

no funciona o el ciclo de

lavado dura más de lo

normal.

Seleccione el programa de centrifugado.

Compruebe que el filtro de desagüe no está obstruido. Lim-

pie el filtro si fuera necesario. Consulte el capítulo "Manteni-

miento y limpieza".

Ajuste manualmente las prendas en la cuba e inicie de nuevo

la fase de centrifugado. Este problema puede deberse a

problemas de equilibrio.

Hay agua en el suelo. Cerciórese de que los acoplamientos de los tubos de agua

están bien apretados y de que no hay pérdidas de agua.

Compruebe que el aparato está correctamente nivelado.

Asegúrese de que se ha quitado el material de embalaje y los

pasadores de transporte. Consulte el apartado "Instalación".

Añada más colada en el tambor. Es posible que la carga sea

demasiado pequeña.

El ciclo es más corto

El aparato calcula una nueva duración en función de la carga

de colada. Consulte el capítulo "Valores de consumo".

Si la pantalla muestra otros códigos de alarma. Encienda y apague el aparato. Si el problema

persiste, póngase en contacto con el servicio técnico autorizado.

14. APERTURA DE EMERGENCIA DE LA PUERTA

En caso de fallo de alimentación o de fallo

del aparato, la puerta del aparato

permanece cerrada. El programa de

lavado continúa cuando se restablece la

alimentación. Si la puerta permanece

bloqueada en caso de fallo, es posible

abrirla usando la característica de

desbloqueo de emergencia.

Antes de abrir la puerta:

Asegúrese de que la

temperatura del agua y la

colada no estén calientes.

Espere hasta que se enfríen,

si fuera necesario.

Asegúrese de que el tambor

no esté girando. Espere

de agua dentro del tambor

Proceda con un desagüe de

Para abrir la puerta, proceda de la

siguiente manera:

1. Pulse la tecla On/Off para apagar el

aparato.

2. Desenchufe el aparato de la toma de

3. Abra la tapa abatible del filtro.

4. Mantenga el desbloqueo de

emergencia hacia abajo y, al mismo

tiempo, abra la puerta del aparato.

5. Saque la colada y cierre la puerta del

aparato.

6. Cierre la tapa abatible del filtro.
