Radio
1. Press MODE to select RADIO mode. (Display shows the radio frequency of the last selected wave-band.
Your preset station is also shown if you are listening to a preset.
2. Press BAND button to select AM or FM radio band.
3. Automatic tuning:
→ Press and hold the SCAN button until the display begins to move, then release the button. The tuner
will scan up or down the band frequency until it finds the first strong station and stop on that stations
then store a program memory automatically. Repeat this process until the tuner stops on your
desired station.
Manual tuning:
→ Press and hold the SKIP+/SKIP- button repeatedly until the display is showing the frequency to your
desired station. Use the manual tuning method tp tune to weaker stations that are bypassed during
Automatic Tuning.
4. Adjust the sound using VOL+/-.
When you have finished listening to the radio, press POWER ON/OFF button to turn the unit off.
Hints for best reception:
AM: If reception is weak, turn the unit to improve reception.
FM: The receiver has a built-in FM pigtail aerial hanging at the rear cabinet. This wire should be totally
unravelled and extended for best reception.
Storing and using preset stations
You can store yo to 10 AM and 10 FM radio stations in the memory.
1. Press SKIP+/SKIP- button to tune your desired station.
2. Press and hold MEMORY/SET button in a second,. (”MEMORY” will flash on the display) to activate the
programming mode.
3. Press SKIP+/SKIP- button to select the preset number you desired.
4. Press MEMORY/SET button to store the station.
5. Repeat step 2-4 to store your another stations
6. Press MEMORY/SET button to listen to a preset stations.
USB
1. Insert your USB Drive into USB jack.
2. Press MODE to select USB then switch on the dock mode.
3. Then, USB will playback automatically.
→ By using the buttons (PLAY/PAUSE, SKIP+/- and VOLUME) and its remote control, the following disc
playback features are available: Play/Pause, selecting next/previous track and changing volume.
4. Turn VOL+/- to adjust the sound level.
5. Press POWER ON/OFF button to turn USB off.
NOTE: POWER ON/OFF button. If not, it will damage your USB
life.
CARD
1. Insert your SD/MMC CARD into CARD jack.
2. Press MODE to select CARD then switch on the dock mode.
3. Then, CARD will playback automatically.

4. Turn VOL+/- to adjust the sound level.

Connecting an external device
You can listen to the sound of the connected external device through your another audio devices.
1. Use a line-in cord (not included) to connect another audio devices to the LINE-IN Jack.
2. Press MODE to select AUX mode.
3. The another audio device will now play through the speakers of the units.
Using Sleep Mode
This set has a built-in sleep timer, which enables the radio to be automatically switched off after a set period of
time. There are eight sleep time options.
Setting and switching off SLEEP
1. Set your timer by pressing SNOOZE repeatedly until the desired timer option appears.
→ Selections are follows (time in minute):
00 => 05 => 10 => 15 => 30 => 45 => 60 => 90 => 120
2. The set will turn off automatically at the selected time.
3. To cancel sleep, press either:
→ SLEEP once or more until “00” disappears from the display.

Troubleshooting
If a problem occurs, check the points below before taking the apparatus in for repair.
If you are unable to remedy a problem by following these hints, contact your dealer or after-sales service
center.
WARNING: Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the set yourself; as this will invalidate the
guarantee. Do not open the set as there are a risk of electric shock.
No sound
Volume not adjusted.
→ Adjust the volume.
The set is muted.
→ Press “MUTE” on the remote control to active playback sound.
Display error / no reaction to any controls
Electrical malfunction.
→ Unplug the AC adaptor, then re-plug;
→ Remove backup batteries;
→ wait 1 hour then resume use.
Intermittent crackling sound during FM reception
Weak signal.
→ Extend and position the FM pigtail aerial.
The alarm does not function
Alarm time / mode not set.
→ Please refer to Setting the Alarm.
Volume too low for radio.
→ Increase the volume.
Remote Control didn’t work
Battery weak.
→ Replace current battery with new battery.
Remote Control is not pointed toward the unit remote sensor.
→ Point the Remote Control toward the unit remote sensor (to right of display), move within 10 feet of the unit.
Unit/adaptor gets warm after extended play at high volume
This is normal.
→ Turn unit off for awhile or lower volume.
Maintenance & Safety
Install the unit near the AC outlet and where the AC adaptor can be easily reached.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing,
Do not expose the set to humidity, rain, sand or excessive heat caused by heating equipment or direct
sunlight.
To clean your set, use a damp cloth or chamois leather. Do not use cleaning products, which contain
benzene, thinner, etc. As these may harm the housing.
