cassette

vary

BEFORE
inserting
iCarPlay's
cassette
unit,
the
cable
running
from
the
iCarPlay
cassette
may
need
to
be
adjusted
to
correctly
extend
from
your
car's
cassette
player.
iCarPlay Set
Up
1.
If
cable
is
not
properly
positioned
for
your
cassette
player,
lift
the
tab
on
the
top
right
corner
of
the
cassette
unit,
raising
the
arm.
Note:
Illustrations
may
vary
in
appearance
from
actual
product.
2.
There
are
four
notches
on
the
iCarPlay
to
adjust
for different
cable
positions,
depending
on
your
car's
cassette
player.
Move
the
cable
to
the
cassette
unit
edge
that will
face
OUT
of
your
cassette
player
when
inserted.
3.
Close
iCarPlay's
arm
to
its
original
position.
4.
Turn
your
car
audio
system
on
and
set
the
volume
to
low.
5.
Insert
the
iCarPlay
cassette
into
your
car's
tape
player,
being
sure
the
cable
exits
the
player
door
from
the
edge
of
the
cassette
unit that will
be
facing
out
of
your
cassette
player.
6.
Insert
the
1/8
inch
audio
plug
into
your
iPod,
iPhone,
or
other
portable
music
player's
headphone
jack.
Press
PLAY
on
your
car's
cassette
player
if it
did
not
start
playing
automatically
when
the
cassette
was
inserted.
7.
Turn
your
music
player
on,
select
the
song/playlist
and
press
PLAY.
8.
Increase
the
volume
slightly
on
your
car
stereo
and
adjust
the
volume
on
your
portable
player.
IMPORTANT
For
the
best
audio
performance,
volume
levels
on
your
player
and
your
car's
audio
system
should
be
roughly
the
same.
Disproportionate
volume
levels
can
cause
audio
distortion
and
buzz.
Troubleshooting
Some
car
stereo
tape
players
with
auto-reverse
will
automatically
switch
playback
direction
when
the
iCarPlay
is
inserted.
If
no
sound
plays,
simply
push
the
auto
reverse
button
on
your
car
stereo,
and
playback
should
begin.

"Authorized Dealer"

any

duly
authorized
to

business
in
the
jurisdiction
where
it
sold
the
Product
to
You,
(ii)
was
permitted
to
sell
You
the
Product
under
the
laws
of
the
jurisdiction
where
You
bought
the
Product,
and
(iii)
sold
You
the
Product
new
and
in
its
original
packaging.
"Formal
Warranty
Claim"
means
a
claim
made
in
accordance
with
the
section
II
Formal
Warranty
Claims

herein.

a

(i)
that
is
listed
in
the
Specifications
Table
below,
(ii)
that
You
bought
from
an
Authorized
Dealer
new
and
in
its
original
packaging,
and
(iii)
whose
serial
number,
if
any,
has
not
been
removed,
altered,
or
defaced.
"Product
Defect"
means
an
inadequacy
of
the
Product
that
existed
at
the
time
when
You
received
the
Product
from
an
Authorized
Dealer
and
that
causes
a
failure
of
the
Product
to
perform
in
accordance
with
Monster's
documentation
accompanying
the
Product,
unless
such
failure
has
been
caused
completely
or
partly
by
(a)
any
use
other
than
Adequate
Use,
(b)
transportation,
neglect,
misuse
or
abuse
by
anyone
other
than
Monster's
employees;
(c)
alteration,
tampering
or
modification
of
the
product
by
anyone
other
than
a
Monster
employee;
(d)
accident
(other
than
a
malfunction
that
would
otherwise
qualify
as
a
Product
Defect);
(e)
maintenance
or
service
of
the
Product
by
anyone
other
than
a
Monster
employee;
(f)
exposure
of
the
Product
to
heat,
bright
light,
sun,
liquids,
sand
or
other
contaminants;
or
(g)
acts
outside
the
control
of
Monster,
including
without
limitation
acts
of
God,
fire,
storms,
earthquake
or
flood.

have
written
proof
of
the

receipt,
then
the
Warranty
Period
commences
three

months
after
the
date
when
the
Product
left
Monster's
or
its
factory
as
evidenced
by
Monster's
records.
The
Warranty
Period
ends
after
the
time
defined
in
the
Specifications
Table
has
expired
or
after
You
have
transferred
ownership
of
the
Product,
whichever
occurs
earlier.

You
must
call
Monster
and
obtain
a
Return
Authorization
Number
