• NEVER use while sleeping or fall asleep while using the massager.

• NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.

• DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used

or where oxygen is being administered.

• DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can

occur and cause fire, electrocution or injury to persons.

• DO NOT carry this appliance by supply cord or use cord as

handle.

• To disconnect, turn all controls to the “off” position, then remove

plug from outlet.

• This appliance is designed for personal, non-professional use only.

• DO NOT use outdoors.

• Temperatures sufficiently high to cause burns may occur

regardless of the control setting. DO NOT use on an infant or

invalid or on a sleeping or unconscious person. DO NOT use on

insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation. Check

the skin in contact with the heated area of the appliance frequently

to reduce the risk of blistering.

• Never use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas

or skin eruptions.

• This product is a non-professional appliance designed to pro-

vide soothing massage to worn muscles. Do not use this product

as a substitute for medical attention.

• Do not use this product before bed. The massage has a

stimulating effect and can delay sleep.

• Never use this product while in bed.

• This product should never be used by any individual suffering from

any physical ailment that would limit the user’s capacity to operate

the controls.

• This unit should not be used by children without adult supervision.

Automatic Shut Off

We’ve designed Body Masseur for convenience and safety. As a

special precaution against falling asleep while using the unit, or leaving

the unit on while it’s still in operation, we’ve programmed it to automat-

ically stop massaging 15 minutes after receiving your last command.

To reactivate Body Masseur, simply press any button.

Any time you change massage functions, the timer will reset. This

special feature should not be considered as a substitute for OFF.

Always remember to turn your unit off when not in use.

Instructions for Use

1 . Plug adaptor into a 120 volt AC outlet and plug the receptacle end

in to the input jack located along the side of the cushion.

2 . Lay the Body Masseur out completely on a flat surface.

3 . Activate by pressing the power button to the on position.

To Fold

Body Masseur incorporates a unique strapping system

that allows you to fold the unit for storage and transportation. Bring the

top and bottom sections of the mat together to meet in the middle.

Then pull the outside straps, sewn to the back of the mat, around the

unit and snap the plastic fasteners in place (Diagrams A-C).

To Store

Place massager in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place.

Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects which might cut or

puncture the fabric surface. To avoid breakage, do not wrap the power

cord around the unit. Do not hang the unit by the controller cord.

To Clean

Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning.

Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Never allow water or any

other liquids to come into contact with the unit.

• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.

• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/

furniture polish, paint thinner to clean.

• Do not attempt to repair Body Masseur massager. There are no user

serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the HoMedics address

listed in the warranty section.

Please Note:

For your safety, this

product is equipped

with a pressure activated

switch to control the

heat function. Heat

will not operate unless

pressure is applied to

When selecting the

heat feature with massaging

action, there will be a slight

decrease in the strength of

the massage output. This

adjustment is perfectly

normal and should not be

interpreted as a defect.

starting at your neck and

TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

(Valid in USA only)

HoMedics, Inc., guarantees this product free from defects in material

and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original

purchase, except as noted below.

This HoMedics product warranty does not cover damage caused

by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized

accessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions

whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics. This warranty

is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the USA.

A product that requires modification or adaptation to enable it to

operate in any country other than the country for which it was

designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of

products damaged by these modifications is not covered under

warranty. HoMedics shall not be responsible for any type of

incidental, consequential or special damages. All implied warranties,

including but not limited to those implied warranties of fitness and

merchantability, are limited in the total duration of two years from

the original purchase date.

To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, either hand

deliver or mail the unit and your dated sales receipt (as proof of

purchase), postpaid, along with check or money order in the

amount of $5.00 payable to HoMedics, Inc. to cover handling.

Upon receipt, HoMedics will repair or replace, as appropriate, your

product and return it to you, postpaid. If it is appropriate to replace

your product, HoMedics will replace the product with the same

product or a comparable product at HoMedics’ option. Warranty is

solely through HoMedics Service Center. Service of this product by

anyone other than HoMedics Service Center voids warranty.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have

additional rights which may vary from state to state. Because of

individual state regulations, some of the above limitations and

Apagado Automático

El Body Masseur ha sido diseñado para proporcionar conveniencia y

seguridad. Como precaución especial contra la posibilidad de quedarse

dormido mientras se está usando esta unidad, o de dejarla prendida

mientras está todavía activa, esta ha sido programada para que deje de

masajear a los 15 minutos después de haber recibido el último mando. Pa r a

Instrucciones de uso

1 . Enchufe el adaptador en un tomacorriente de 120 voltios de CA y el

extremo del receptáculo en la ficha de entrada ubicada sobre el lado del

cojín.

2 . Extienda el Body Masseur por completo sobre una superficie plana.

3 . Enciéndalo oprima el botón de encendido en la posición On.

M a n t e n i m i e n t o

Para Doblar

El Body Masseur incluye un sistema exclusivo de correas

que permite doblar la unidad para guardarla o transportarla. Una las sec-

ciones de arriba y de abajo del almohadón hasta que se junten en la mitad.

Luego, hale las correas exteriores, cocidas al respaldo del almohadón,

alrededor de la unidad y cierre los sujetadores de plástico en su lugar

(Diagramas A-C).

Para guardar

Coloque el masajeador en su caja o en un lugar

seguro, seco y fresco. Evite el contacto con bordes filosos u objetos pun-

zantes que puedan cortar o perforar la superficie del material que lo recubre.

Para evitar roturas, no envuelva el cable de corriente alrededor de la unidad.

NO cuelgue la unidad del cable del controlador.

Para limpiar

Desenchufe la unidad y deje que se enfríe antes de

limpiarla. Limpie únicamente con una esponja suave, apenas húmeda.

NUNCA permita que el agua ni otro líquido entre en contacto con la unidad.

• NO lo sumerja en ningún líquido para limpiarlo.

• NUNCA utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina, querosén,

limpiador de vidrios o lustramuebles o adelgazador de pintura, para

• NO intente reparar el masajeador Body Masseur. No hay piezas que

necesiten servicio por parte del usuario. Por servicio, envíe la unidad a la

Este botón acciona el calor

penetrante y suavizador. Pa r a

apagar el calor, simplemente

oprima el botón nuevamente.

Una luz L. E. D. destellante

indica que el calor está

e n c e n d i d o .

Atención: Cuando seleccione

la opción de calor con acción

masajeadora, habrá una leve

disminución en la acción del

masaje. Esto es absolutamente

normal y no debe interpretarse

como desperfecto.

Oprima CYCLE (Ciclo) para

activar el masaje en movimiento.

La luz del LED correspondiente

al botón del control manual se

iluminará para confirmar su

selección. Los motores

alternarán la acción

masajeadora, empezando desde

su cuello y hombros y

desplazándose hacia abajo a

sus pies, arriba y abajo en la

superficie del almohadón. Pa r a

eliminar la función de ciclo, sim-

plemente oprima el botón nue-

vamente y la luz del L. E . D.

correspondiente se apagará. En

cualquier momento usted puede

desconectar cualquier motor o

combinación de motores

masajeadores. Cuando así lo

hace, las luces L. E . D . correspon-

dientes indicarán su selección.

Velocidad del ciclo

Escoja la velocidad con la cual

su masaje programado especí-

ficamente se moverá hacia

arriba y abajo en el Body

M a s s e u r. Cada vez que oprime

el botón, la velocidad del ciclo

aumenta, creando tres niveles:

baja (L), media (M) y alta (H).

Las luces L. E. D. correspon-

dientes indicarán su selección.

Para disminuir la velocidad,

simplemente oprima el botón

otra vez.
