• Place the coffeemaker on a hard, flat level surface to avoid interruption of air

flow underneath the appliance.

• This coffeemaker is designed for commercial use only.

Warning:

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove any

service covers. There are no user serviceable parts inside the

coffeemaker. Only authorized personnel should repair the

coffeemaker.

Special Cord Set Instructions

1) A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting

from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.

2) An extension cord may be purchased and used if care is exercised in its use.

3) If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord

must be at least 10 amps and 120 volts. The resulting extended cord

must be

arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop

where it can

be pulled on by children or tripped over accidentally.

This appliance has a polarized plug

(one blade is wider than the other)

. Along with a

“Third Prong” ground terminal. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a

polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the

plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any

Cleaning the Coffeemaker Before First Use

Wash the coffee urn thoroughly before using for the first time.

(See “Cleaning Instructions” on Page 8).

Selecting and Measuring Ground Coffee

For best results, use freshly ground coffee. The amounts shown below are

suggested amounts.

Adding Water and Ground Coffee

1) Remove the twist lock lid by grasping the handle on top of the lid and turning

counterclockwise to unlock.

2) Remove the brew basket and stem tube. Check to see that the coffee

dispensing spigot is closed. Use cold, fresh tap water to fill coffee urn. Use

the cup level markings on the sight glass to determine the proper level.

3) Remove brew basket lid and add coffee (see chart above for recommended

amount). Shake lightly to spread the grounds evenly. Replace the brew basket

lid and place the stem tube up through the hole in the center of the basket

and cover. Hold the portion of the stem tube protruding from the brew

basket and lower the whole assembly into position in the coffee urn. Be

certain that the stem tube is centered and covering the recessed well area in

the bottom of the urn.

4) Replace the twist lock lid and turn it clockwise to lock the lid tabs under the

cool-touch handles.

Brewing Coffee

1. Plug the coffee urn into a 120-volt AC outlet and push the switch to ON.

The on/off switch will light to indicate that the unit is on.

2. After approximately 30 minutes the red brew-ready light will turn on and

remain on to indicate that brewing is complete.

3. The coffee urn will automatically switch to a “Keep Warm” setting to keep

coffee at a ready-to-serve temperature.

Serving Instructions

1. Place a cup under the dispensing spigot.

2. Press the two-way spigot handle down to dispense a small amount of coffee.

3. Lift the two-way spigot handle up to locked position to dispense

larger amounts of coffee. Press the two-way spigot down to unlock

and stop dispensing.

Cleaning Instructions

After each use:

1. Unplug the coffee urn and let it cool.

2. Remove

twist lock lid

, brew basket and stem tube.

CAUTION – Parts, coffee grounds, and remaining coffee may still be hot.

3. Wash all parts with warm water and mild detergent.

NEVER IMMERSE COFFEE URN IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.

NEVER WASH COFFEE URN IN DISHWASHER.

4. Rinse with clean water, dry thoroughly, and store in a clean, dry area.

Cleaning the Stainless Steel

Always use a soft cloth. Never use any kind of abrasive cleanser or pad that

could scratch the metal.

1. Clean the stainless steel body of the coffee urn with dishwashing liquid

and water to remove fingerprints, grease, dirt and grime.

2. For difficult spots like sticky fingerprints, clean the stainless steel body

of the coffee urn with standard non-abrasive kitchen cleaning fluid or a

commercially available cleaning product for stainless steel surfaces.

3. After cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth to dry and buff the surface

to a brilliant shine

warrants that for a period of one year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in

material and workmanship. Sunbeam, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of

the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new

remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made

with

a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable.

Preparando Café

Limpieza de la Cafetera Antes de Usarla por Primera Vez

Lave completamente la cafetera de recipiente grande antes de usarla por

primera vez. (Vea “Instrucciones de Limpieza” en la Página 17).

Selección y Medida del Café Molido

Para obtener los mejores resultados, use café molido fresco. Las cantidades

indicadas abajo so cantidades sugeridas.

Para Preparar Tazas de 5 Onzas Use Esta Cantidad de Café Molido

Agregando Agua y Café Molido

1) Remueva la tapa que se gira y traba agarrando la manija ubicada encima

de la tapa y girándola en el sentido anti-horario para destrabarla.

2) Remueva la canasta de preparación y el tubo de espiga. Cerciórese

de que la llave de servir café esté cerrada. Use agua fresca y fría para

llenar la cafetera de recipiente grande. Use las marcas de nivel de tazas

ubicadas en el visor para determinar el nivel apropiado.

3) Remueva la tapa de la canasta de preparación y agréguele café

(vea el cuadro de arriba para obtener la cantidad recomendada).

Sacúdala ligeramente para nivelar el café molido. Reinstale la tapa de

la canasta de preparación y coloque el tubo de espiga hacia arriba por

entre el agujero ubicado en el centro de la canasta y la tapa. Sostenga la

porción del tubo de espiga que sobresale de la canasta de preparación

y baje el ensamble completo a su posición en la cafetera de recipiente

grande. Asegúrese de que el tubo de espiga quede centrado y que cubra

el área del pozo empotrado en el fondo del recipiente grande.

4) Reinstale la tapa que se gira y traba girándola en el sentido horario para

trabar la tapa debajo de los mangos fríos al tacto.

Preparando Café

1. Enchufe la cafetera de recipiente grande en una toma de corriente

de 120 voltios CA y empuje el interruptor a la posición ON (Encendido).

El interruptor de on/off (encedido/apagado) se iluminará indicando que

la unidad está encendida.

2. Después de aproximadamente 30 minutos, la luz roja de preparación

lista se prenderá y permanecerá prendida indicando que la preparación

ha terminado.

3. La cafetera de recipiente grande cambiará automáticamente a la

regulación de “Mantener Caliente” para mantener el café a una temperatura

de “listo para servir”.

Instrucciones para Servir

1. Coloque una taza debajo de la llave de servir.

2. Oprima hacia abajo la manija de la llave de dos vías para servir una cantidad

de café pequeña.

3. Levante la manija de la llave de dos vías a la posición trabada para servir

mayores cantidades de café. Oprima hacia abajo la llave de dos vías para

Instrucciones de Limpieza

Después de cada uso:

1. Desenchufe la cafetera de recipiente grande y déjela enfriar.

2. Remueva la tapa que se gira y traba, la canasta de preparación y el tubo

de espiga.

PRECAUCIÓN: Las piezas, el café molido y el resto del café podrán estar

aún calientes.

3. Lave todas las piezas con agua tibia y un detergente suave.

4. Enjuáguela con agua limpia, séquela completamente y guárdela en una área

limpia y seca.

Limpieza del Acero Inoxidable

Siempre use un trapo suave. Nunca use ningún tipo de limpiadores abrasivos

o esponjas que pudieran rayar el metal.

1. Limpie el cuerpo de acero inoxidable de la cafetera de recipiente grande

con jabón líquido de lavar platos y agua para remover las huellas, la grasa,

la mugre y el tizne.

2. Para puntos difíciles como huellas, limpie el cuerpo de acero inoxidable

de la cafetera de recipiente grande con un líquido para limpieza de

cocinas estándar no abrasivo o un producto de limpieza para superficies

de acero inoxidable disponible comercialmente.

3. Después de la limpieza, use un trapo suave seco y frote la superficie hasta
