BEFORE YOU START:

• ScaleRX works best when connected directly to the inlet (cold water) of your water heater. It is compatible with both tank-less and traditional water heaters.

• ScaleRX may be installed either inside or outdoors. It may be mounted horizontally or vertically.

WARNING: RISK OF WATER DAMAGE. ScaleRX SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY A PROFESSIONAL.

INSTALLATION:

• ScaleRX comes with ¾” female IPS (tapered thread) connections. Wrap PTFE tape (not included) 2-3 times around the water heater inlet connection,

then hand-tighten ScaleRX to the heater with FLOW DIRECTION indicator arrow on ScaleRX pointing towards the water heater inlet.

WARNING: DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN, OR DAMAGE COULD

• ScaleRX doesn’t require any maintenance.

• Over time you may notice existing scale begin to break up and flush through the pipes.

• ScaleRX can become clogged if the incoming water contains sediment. We recommend using a filter with a minimum of 50 microns to remove large particles

upstream of ScaleRX .

American Valve warrants, to its initial purchaser only, that its ScaleRX Ion Polarization System products which are delivered to the initial purchaser will be the kind described in the order or price list

WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, EXCEPT THE WARRANTY OF TITLE AND AGAINST PATENT INFRINGEMENT. Correction of

non-conformities, in the manner and for the period of time provided above, shall constitute fulllment of all liabilities of American Valve to our initial purchaser, with respect to the goods, whether based

on contract, negligence, strict tort or otherwise. It is the intention of American Valve that no warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, shall pass through our initial purchaser to any other person

or corporation.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: American Valve SHALL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,

DAMAGES OR LOSS OF OTHER PROPERTY OR EQUIPMENT, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR REVENUE, COST OF CAPITAL, COST OF PURCHASED OR REPLACEMENT GOODS, OR CLAIMS OF

CUSTOMERS OF OUR INITIAL PURCHASER. THE REMEDIES OF OUR INITIAL PURCHASER, AND ALL OTHERS, SET FORTH HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE, AND THE LIABILITY OF AMERICAN

VALVE WITH RESPECT TO SAME SHALL NOT, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, EXCEED THE PRICE OF GOODS UPON WHICH SUCH LIABILITY IS BASED.

CON RESPECTO A LAS MISMAS NO EXCEDERÁ, SALVO QUE SE DISPONGA EXPRESAMENTE EN ESTE DOCUMENTO, EL PRECIO DE LOS BIENES EN LOS QUE SE BASA DICHA RESPONSABILIDAD.
