Connection to the power supply must be made by an
electrical professional, following the electrical diagram on the right.
Use a separate electrical circuit for the pump. This circuit
must not have conductors with a gauge smaller than 12 AWG, and must be
protected with a 20 A time delay fuse. Before connecting the motor to the
power line, make sure that the voltage is equal to the voltage indicated on the
motor nameplate. Operating at a lower voltage will damage the motor.
The power cords are color-coded as follows:
Green: Ground
White: Neutral
Black: Line

Work area
Keep your work area clean, and well lit.
Cluttered and dark areas may cause accidents.
Never use the tool in explosive atmospheres, such as in the
presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
Sparks generated by power tools may ignite the flammable material.
Keep children and bystanders at a safe distance while operating
the tool.
Distractions may cause loosing control.
Electrical Safety
The tool plug must match the power outlet. Never modify
the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with
grounded power tools.
Modified plugs and different power outlets increase the risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces, such as pipes,
radiators, electric ranges and refrigerators.
The risk of electric shock increases if your body is grounded.
Do not expose the tool to rain or wet conditions.
Water entering into the tool increases the risk of electric shock.
Do not force the cord. Never use the cord to carry, lift or unplug
the tool. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating a tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable
for outdoor use.
Using an adequate outdoor extension cord reduces the risk of electric shock.
If operating the tool in a damp location cannot be avoided, use
a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protected supply.
Using a GFCI reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense
when operating a tool. Do not use a power tool while you are
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
A moment of distraction while operating the tool may result in personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection.
Protective equipment such as safety glasses, anti-dust mask, non-skid shoes,
hard hats and hearing protection used in the right conditions significantly
reduce personal injury.
Prevent unintentional starting up. Ensure the switch is in the
“OFF” position before connecting into the power source and /
or battery as well as when carrying the tool.
Transporting power tools with the finger on the switch or connecting power
tools with the switch in the “ON” position may cause accidents.
Remove any wrench or vice before turning the power tool on.
Wrenches or vices left attached to rotating parts of the tool may result in personal
injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
This enables a better control on the tool during unexpected situations.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep
hair, clothes and gloves away from the moving parts.
Loose clothes or long hair may get caught in moving parts.
If you have dust extraction and recollection devices connected
onto the tool, inspect their connections and use them correctly.
Using these devices reduce dust-related risks.
Power Tools Use and Care
Do not force the tool. Use the adequate tool for your
application.
The correct tool delivers a better and safer job at the rate for which it was designed.
Do not use the tool if the switch is not working properly.
Any power tool that cannot be turned ON or OFF is dangerous and should be
repaired before operating.
Disconnect the tool from the power source and / or battery
before making any adjustments, changing accessories or
storing.
These measures reduce the risk of accidentally starting the tool.
Store tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons
that are not familiar with the tool or its instructions to
operate the tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Service the tool. Check the mobile parts are not misaligned or
stuck. There should not be broken parts or other conditions that
may affect its operation. Repair any damage before using the
tool.
Most accidents are caused due to poor maintenance to the tools.
Keep the cutting accessories sharp and clean.
Cutting accessories in good working conditions are less likely to bind and are
easier to control.
Use the tool, components and accessories in accordance with
these instructions and the projected way to use it for the type of
tool when in adequate working conditions.
Using the tool for applications different from those it was designed for, could
result in a hazardous situation.

using only identical spare parts.

• Do not subject the device to rain. Do
not use the device around wet areas.
• Do not use the device in areas where
there is danger of explosion or near combustible liquids or
gases.
• Do not direct the water jet at the
device or other electrical components. There is a danger to
life due to electric shock.
• Ensure that the extension cord does
not contact the water supplying the unit.
• Do not install or turn on the unit when people or animals
are in or in contact with the water to be pumped (e.g., a
pool).
• Do not leave the unit unattended. If it is to be left for an
extended period of time, unplug it.
• Any repairs should only be made by a
Authorized Service Center. Failure to do so exposes you to
electric shock and invalidates the warranty.
• Symbols affixed to the device must not be removed or
covered. Any information on the device that is no longer
legible must be replaced immediately.
• Read and obey the operating instructions before
pumping.
• The device complies with the most current safety
requirements as long as it is used for its intended purpose.
The device may only be used under permissible
performance restrictions.
• It must not be used for pumping drinking water or for
watering foodstuffs. Explosives, combustible or aggressive
materials, substances harmful to health or sewage must
not be pumped.
• The device is not suitable for commercial or industrial
use.
• Improper use or modifications to the device, the use of
components that have not been tested and approved by
the manufacturer, may result in unforeseen damage to the
device and the operator, and relieves the manufacturer of
its legal liability.
• The automatic pump control is used to command a water
pump to start and stop when any tap or valve in the
system is opened or closed. The control will maintain a
constant pressure and flow of water in the system
whenever any mains water outlet is open during pump
operation.
The control can be used for either
potable or non-potable water. In installations where both
types of fluid are present, ensure that potable water is not
mixed with non-potable water.

Installation
• For domestic use it is recommended to use a grounded polarized plug for pump
operation.

• Attach the automatic control (A) to the pump outlet with
a coupling nut (B) and tighten it by hand.
• Turn the automatic control to the required position and
tighten the coupling nut.
• Connect the outlet of the automatic control to the
pressure line (outlet) using a flexible hose (C).
• Connect the automatic control to the pump and then to
the socket (D).
• In case of using submersible pumps (E), fixed piping
must be used at the control outlet (F) and flexible hose at
the inlet (G).

• The suction and pressure lines should be installed in such a way that they do not exert any mechanical force or stress on
the pump or the automatic control.
• Both lines must be perfectly sealed. Leaks cause air to accumulate in the piping and prevent or reduce water output.
Avoid bends and slopes as much as possible to prevent the formation of air bubbles that can affect the efficiency of the
pressurizer. All connections should be sealed with hemp and thick paste (for metal threads) or Teflon sealing tape (for
synthetic threads).
• All line components should be installed by a professional.
Line connection
• If the liquid is contaminated, a suction strainer (A)
should be used to protect the pump from sand and dirt.
• It is recommended to use a check valve (B) so that the
suction line is not emptied when the pump is switched off.
• The line pipe should have an internal diameter of at least
1”. It should be bend resistant and suitable for vacuum
use.
• The line should be as short as possible, as the pumping
capacity decreases with increasing line length.
• The line should rise regularly towards the pump. To
prevent air pockets.
• It should be ensured that there is sufficient water and the
end of the line should always be in the water.
Suction line connection (Input)
• In case of using the product with
surface pumps, fill the pump completely with clean water
before being turned on otherwise it will suffer irreparable
damage not covered by the warranty.
• After making a new connection and before each start-up,
check that there is no water leakage or air ingress in both
the pump and the suction line, making sure that the pump
is primed.
• To obtain better suction, the use of a suction filter is
recommended.
Draining the pump
• It is recommended to use a gate or globe valve (C) to
facilitate maintenance operations of the automatic control.
• The piping of the line should be fixed so that when there
are vibrations, stress and weight do not affect the
pressurizer.

• After installation is complete, connect the pressure
control to the power supply. The green "On" light on the
control panel illuminates to indicate that the control is
energized.
• The control automatically turns on the pump when water
is needed. If the pressure line is open, the system pressure
is reduced below the start pressure and the pump is
energized. The yellow light on the control panel
illuminates.
• When a line shutoff occurs, the water pressure slowly
increases until the cut-in pressure is reached, shutting
down the pump. The yellow "Pump On" light on the
control panel also turns off.
• The control has a flow sensor which serves to protect the
pump when the pump runs dry (no water in the inlet line)
for more than 10 seconds. The red "Fault" light on the
control panel will illuminate to indicate that there is a
supply failure. In this case, check the water supply and
installation. Press the red "Reset" button to restore control
operation.
• This operation only
changes the pressure at which the pump
restarts, it does not change the
the working pressure of the system,
which depends solely on the capacity of
the pump used.
• It is recommended to make the screw adjustment when
the line is open, this will reduce the pressure inside the
control and make it easier to turn the screw.
• As a general rule, the starting pressure should be 0.2 bar
above the gauge head, while the pump to be used should
be able to provide at least 0.8 bar above the set pressure.

Maintenance
• To avoid overheating refer to the troubleshooting section
on page 9.
• The plug and connections must be protected against
splashing water.
• The following table shows 2 examples of this rule for
pump selection and control start pressure setting:

• Regularly inspect all mounting screws and make sure that
they are tightened correctly. If any of the screws are loose,
tighten them immediately.
• In case of danger of frost, disassemble the device and
accessories, clean and store in a place protected from
frost. Otherwise, the device may be damaged.
1. Switch off the device, disconnect the plug.
2. Open the pressure line (open the faucet or nozzle),
allow the water to drain completely.
3. Drain the pump completely by unscrewing the drain
plug.
4. Disassemble the suction and pressure lines of the
device.
5. Store the device in a frost-free room (at least 41 °F).

• The filter should be cleaned regularly, depending on the
contamination of the water supply.

La conexión a la fuente de energía debe realizarse por un
profesional en electricidad, siguiendo el diagrama eléctrico de la derecha.
Use un circuito eléctrico separado para la bomba. Este
circuito no debe tener conductores con un calibre inferior al 12 AWG, y debe
estar protegido con un fusible con demora de tiempo de 20 A. Antes de
conectar el motor a la línea de corriente, asegúrese de que la tensión sea
igual a la indicada en la placa de datos del motor. Si se opera con una
tensión menor, se dañará el motor.
Los cables de energía están codificados con los siguientes
colores:

presencia de líquido, gas o polvo inflamables.

Mantenga alejados a los niños y curiosos cuando opere la
herramienta.
Las distracciones pueden hacer que pierda el control.
Seguridad eléctrica
La clavija de la herramienta debe coincidir con el tomacorrien-
te. Nunca modifique una clavija. No use ningún tipo de
adaptador para clavijas de herramientas puestas a tierra.
Clavijas modificadas y enchufes diferentes aumentan el riesgo de
choque eléctrico.
Evite el contacto del cuerpo con superficies puestas a tierra
como tuberías, radiadores, cocinas eléctricas y refrigeradores.
Hay un mayor riesgo de choque eléctrico si el cuerpo está puesto a tierra.
No exponga la herramienta a la lluvia o condiciones de humedad.
El agua que ingresa en la herramienta aumenta el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
No fuerce el cable. Nunca use el cable para transportar,
levantar o desconectar la herramienta. Mantenga el cable
lejos del calor, aceite, orillas afiladas o piezas en movimiento.
Los cables dañados o enredados aumentan el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Cuando maneje una herramienta en exteriores, use una
extensión especial para uso en exteriores.
El uso de una extensión adecuada para exteriores reduce el riesgo de choque
eléctrico.
Si el uso de la herramienta en un lugar húmedo es inevitable,
use una alimentación protegida por un interruptor de circuito
de falla a tierra (GFCI).
El uso de un GFCI reduce el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Seguridad personal
Esté alerta, vigile lo que está haciendo y use el sentido común
cuando maneje una herramienta. No la use si está cansado o
bajo la influencia de drogas, alcohol o medicamentos.
Un momento de distracción mientras maneja la herramienta puede
causar un daño personal.
Use equipo de seguridad. Use siempre protección para los ojos.
El uso de equipo de seguridad como lentes de seguridad, mascarilla antipolvo,
zapatos antideslizantes, casco y protección para los oídos en condiciones
apropiadas, reduce de manera significativa los daños personales.
Evite arranques accidentales. Asegúrese de que el interruptor
está en posición “apagado” antes de conectar a la fuente de
alimentación y/o a la batería o transportar la herramienta.
Transportar herramientas eléctricas con el dedo sobre el interruptor o
conectar herramientas eléctricas que tienen el interruptor en posición de
“encendido” puede causar accidentes.
Retire cualquier llave o herramienta de ajuste antes de arrancar
la herramienta eléctrica.
Las llaves o herramientas que quedan en las partes rotativas de la
herramienta pueden causar un daño personal.
No sobrepase su campo de acción. Mantenga ambos pies bien
asentados sobre el suelo y conserve el equilibrio en todo
momento.
Esto permite un mejor control de la herramienta en situaciones inesperadas.
Vista adecuadamente. No vista ropa suelta o joyas. Mantenga
su pelo, su ropa y guantes alejados de las piezas en
movimiento.
La ropa, el pelo suelto o las joyas pueden quedar atrapados en las piezas en
movimiento.
En caso de contar con dispositivos de extracción y recolección
de polvo conectados a la herramienta, verifique sus conexiones
y úselos correctamente.
El uso de estos dispositivos reduce los riesgos relacionados con el polvo.
Uso y cuidados de la herramienta
No fuerce la herramienta. Use la herramienta adecuada para el
trabajo a realizar.
La herramienta adecuada hace un trabajo mejor y más seguro cuando
se usa al ritmo para el que fue diseñada.
No use la herramienta si el interruptor no funciona.
Cualquier herramienta eléctrica que no pueda encenderse o
apagarse es peligrosa y debe repararse antes de ser operada.
Desconecte la herramienta de la fuente de alimentación
y/o de la batería antes de efectuar cualquier ajuste,
cambiar accesorios o almacenarla.
Estas medidas reducen el riesgo de arrancar la herramienta
accidentalmente.
Almacene las herramientas fuera del alcance de los niños y no
permita su manejo por personas no familiarizadas con las
herramientas o con las instrucciones.
Las herramientas eléctricas son peligrosas en manos no entrenadas.
Dele mantenimiento a la herramienta. Compruebe que las
partes móviles no estén desalineadas o trabadas, que no
haya piezas rotas u otras condiciones que puedan afectar su
operación. Repare cualquier daño antes de usar la herramienta.
Muchos accidentes son causados por el escaso mantenimiento de las
herramientas.
Mantenga los accesorios de corte afilados y limpios.
Los accesorios de corte en buenas condiciones son menos probables de
trabarse y más fáciles de controlar.
Use la herramienta, sus componentes y accesorios de acuerdo
con estas instrucciones y de la manera prevista para el tipo de
herramienta, en condiciones de trabajo adecuadas.
El uso de la herramienta para aplicaciones diferentes para las que
está diseñada podría causar una situación de peligro.
Servicio
Repare la herramienta en un Centro de Servicio Autorizado
usando sólo piezas de repuesto idénticas.

enlistan a continuación. La omisión de alguna de ellas puede dar como resultado un choque eléctrico, incendio y/o
daño serio. Conserve las advertencias y las instrucciones para futuras referencias.

• No someta el dispositivo a la lluvia.
No utilice el dispositivo alrededor de áreas mojadas.
• No utilice el dispositivo en áreas
donde exista el peligro de explosión o cerca de líquidos
combustibles o gases.
• No dirija el chorro de agua contra
el dispositivo u otros componentes eléctricos. Existe
peligro de muerte debido a una descarga eléctrica.
• Asegúrese de que el cable de
extensión no haga contacto con el agua que alimenta la
unidad.
• No instale ni encienda la unidad cuando haya personas o
animales dentro del agua que se va a bombear (por
ejemplo una alberca) o que tengan contacto con ella.
• No deje la unidad desatendida. Si la tiene que dejar por
un período largo, desconéctela.
• Cualquier reparación debe hacerse únicamente por un
Centro de Servicio Autorizado . De lo
contrario se expone a un choque eléctrico e invalida la
garantía.
• Los símbolos adheridos al dispositivo no deben retirarse
ni cubrirse. Toda información sobre el dispositivo que ya
no sea legible, debe ser reemplazada de inmediato.
• Lea y obedezca las instrucciones de operación antes de
bombear.

• El dispositivo cumple con los requerimientos más
actuales en seguridad siempre y cuando se le de el uso
para el que fue diseñado. El dispositivo solamente puede
ser utilizado bajo las restricciones de desempeño
permitidas.
• No se debe utilizar para bombear agua potable ni para
regar comestibles. No se deben bombear explosivos,
combustibles o materiales agresivos ni substancias dañinas
a la salud o aguas negras.
• El dispositivo no es adecuado para uso comercial ni
industrial.
• El uso inadecuado o las modificaciones al dispositivo, el
uso de componentes que no han sido probados y
aprobados por el fabricante, pueden tener como resultado
daños imprevistos al dispositivo y al operador, y libera al
fabricante de su responsabilidad legal.
• El control automático de presión se utiliza para ordenar
el arranque y paro de una bomba de agua al abrir o cerrar
cualquier grifo o válvula del sistema. El control mantendrá
una presión y flujo constante de agua en el sistema
siempre que alguna salida de agua de la red se encuentre
abierta durante la operación de la bomba.
El control puede ser utilizado
tanto para agua potable o agua no potable. En
instalaciones en las que estén presentes ambos tipos de
fluido, asegúrese de que el agua potable no se mezcle con
el agua no potable.

• Para uso doméstico se recomienda utilizar una clavija polarizada con puesta a tierra
para la operación de la bomba.

con una tuerca de acople (B) y apriétela a mano.
• Gire el control automático a la posición requerida y
apriete la tuerca de acople.
• Conecte la salida del control automático a la línea de
presión (salida) mediante una manguera flexible (C).
• Conecte el control automático a la bomba y después a la
toma de corriente (D).
• En caso de utilizar bombas sumergibles (E), se debe
utilizar tubería fija a la salida del control (F) y manguera
flexible a la entrada (G).

• Las líneas de succión y presión se deben instalar de tal forma que no ejerzan ninguna fuerza mecánica o tensión en la
bomba o el control automático.
• Ambas líneas deben estar perfectamente selladas. Las fugas ocasionan acumulación de aire en la tubería e impiden o
reducen la salida de agua. Evite en lo posible codos y pendientes para prevenir la formación de burbujas de aire que
pueda afectar la eficiencia del presurizador. Se deben sellar todas las conexiones con cáñamo y pasta gruesa (para roscas
de metal) o con cinta selladora de teflón (para roscas de material sintético).
• Todos los componentes de las líneas deben ser instaladas por un profesional.
Conexión de las líneas
• Si el líquido está contaminado, se debe utilizar un filtro
de succión (A) para proteger la bomba de arena y
suciedad.
• Se recomienda usar una válvula check (B) para que no
se vacíe la línea de succión cuando se apaga la bomba.
• El tubo de la línea debe tener un diámetro interno de
por lo menos 25 mm. Debe ser resistente a las curvas y
adecuada para uso en vacío.
• La línea debe ser tan corta como sea posible, ya que la
capacidad de bombeo baja a la par con el aumento de la
línea.
• La línea debe ascender regularmente hacia la bomba.
Para prevenir las bolsas de aire.
• Se debe asegurar que haya suficiente agua y el extremo
final de la línea debe estar siempre dentro del agua.
Conexión de la línea de succión (entrada)
• En caso de utilizar el producto
con bombas de superficie, llene completamente la bomba
con agua limpia antes de ser encendida de lo contrario
sufriría un daño irreparable no cubierto por la garantía.
• Después de realizar una nueva conexión y antes de cada
encendido revise que no haya pérdida de agua o entrada
de aire tanto en la bomba como en la línea de succión,
comprobando que la bomba esté cebada.
• Para obtener mejor succión se recomienda el uso de un
filtro de succión.
Purga de la bomba
• Se recomienda usar una válvula de compuerta o globo
(C) para facilitar las operaciones de mantenimiento del
control automático.
• La tubería de la línea debe ser fijada para que cuando
existan vibraciones, la tensión y el peso no afecten el
presurizador.

ADVERTENCIA
• Inspeccione regularmente todos los tornillos de montaje
y asegúrese de que estén apretados correctamente. En
caso de que alguno de los tornillos esté suelto, apriételo
inmediatamente.
• En caso que exista peligro de helada, desarme el
dispositivo y los accesorios, limpie y almacene en un sitio
protegido de la helada. De lo contrario el dispositivo
podría dañarse.
1. Apague el dispositivo, desconecte la clavija.
2. Abra la línea de presión (abra el grifo o la boquilla),
permita que el agua salga por completo.
3. Vacíe por completo la bomba desatornillando el tapón
de drenaje.
4. Desarme las líneas de succión y de presión del
dispositivo.
5. Almacene el dispositivo en un espacio libre de heladas
(por lo menos 5 °C).
• Para evitar sobrecalentamientos consulte la sección de
solución de problemas en la página 9.
• La clavija y las conexiones deben estar protegidas contra
salpicaduras de agua.
• En la siguiente tabla se muestran 2 ejemplos de esta
regla para la selección de la bomba y el ajuste de la
presión de arranque del control:
Limpieza y cuidados
• Una vez concluida la instalación conecte el control de
presión al suministro de energía. La luz verde “Encendido”
del panel de control se enciende para indicar que el
control está energizado.
• El control enciende automáticamente la bomba cuando
se necesita el agua. Si la línea de presión está abierta, se
reduce la presión del sistema por debajo de la presión de
arranque y se energiza la bomba. La luz amarilla del panel
de control se enciende.
• Cuando se produce un cierre en la línea, la presión de
agua aumenta lentamente hasta alcanzar la presión de
corte apagando la bomba. La luz amarilla “Bomba
encendida” del panel de control también se apaga.
• El control cuenta con un sensor de flujo el cual sirve para
proteger a la bomba cuando esta opera en vacío (sin agua
en la línea de entrada) durante más de 10 segundos. La
luz roja “Falla” del panel de control se encendera para
indicar que hay una falla en el suministro. En este caso,
revise el suministro de agua y la instalación. Presione el
botón rojo “Reiniciar” para restablecer el funcionamiento
del control.
• Esta operación
únicamente modifica la presión a la que
la bomba vuelve a arrancar no modifica
la presión de trabajo del sistema, la cual
depende exclusivamente de la
capacidad de la bomba utilizada.
• Se recomienda realizar el ajuste del tornillo cuando la
línea esté abierta, esto reducirá la presión dentro del
control y facilitará el giro del tornillo.
• Como regla general, la presión de arranque debe ser 0.2
bar por encima de la altura manométrica, mientras que la
bomba a utilizarse debe poder proporcionar por lo menos
0.8 bar por encima de la presión de ajuste.
• El filtro se debe limpiar con regularidad, dependiendo de
la contaminación que tenga el suministro de agua.

únicamente en un Centro de Servicio Autorizado
. El servicio y mantenimiento
realizado por personas no calificadas puede resultar
peligroso y llegar a ocasionar daños personales además
de invalidar la garantía del producto.

Solución de problemas
• Revise el cable, la clavija y el fusible.
• Corrija el cableado.
• Evite la causa del calentamiento, espere a que
el agua se enfríe.
• Limpie y retire cualquier obstrucción de las
ranuras de ventilación.
• Espere a que se enfríe el dispositivo. Si el
problema persiste acuda a un Centro de
Servicio Autorizado .
• Acuda a un Centro de Servicio Autorizado
.
• Asegúrese de que haya suficiente suministro
de agua.
• Selle la línea de succión, repare fugas y apriete
todas las conexiones.
• Coloque la bomba a no más de 8 m sobre el
nivel del contenedor de agua.
• Limpie o reemplace el filtro.
• Limpie o reemplace la válvula.
• Acuda a un Centro de Servicio Autorizado
.
• Limpie la bomba con agua limpia y retire
cualquier obstrucción.
• Llene el receptáculo de la bomba con agua.
Para las líneas de succión con válvula check,
llene la línea de succión con agua.
• Verifique que la presión de la bomba es por
lo menos de 0.8 bar mayor a la presión de
arranque del controlador.
• Revise el contenedor y la calidad del agua.
• Acorte o sujete la línea de succión. Use una
pantalla de filtro con válvula check.
• Acuda a un Centro de Servicio Autorizado
• Selle la línea de presión, repare fugas y apriete
todas las conexiones.
