in small quantities or whipping cream and emulsifying liquids. This
appliance is intended exclusively for use in the private household.
Use the appliance only for its intended
purpose.
Observe the procedures described in these
operating instructions.
Failure to use the appliance for its intended purpose and/or any
other type of use can be hazardous. Use the appliance only for

Unpacking
1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions
from the box.
2) Remove all packaging material.
Check the package for completeness and signs of visible dam-
age. If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as
a result of defective packaging or during transport, contact the
Service hotline (see Warranty section).
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the device from damage during transport.
The packaging materials have been selected for their environmen-
tal friendliness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw
materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated.
Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in
accordance with applicable local regulations.
If possible, keep the original packaging of the device for the entire
duration of the warranty period so that the device can be packed
properly for return shipment in the event of a warranty claim.

SHORT TIME OPERATION
Short time operation is the amount of time an appliance can
be operated without the motor overheating and becoming
damaged. After the appliance has been operated for this
period of time, turn it off until the motor has cooled down.
Getting started
Thoroughly clean all component parts as described in the section
Cleaning and care before using the appliance for the first time.
Operation
Chopping
1) Place the bowl 9 on the anti-slip ring q.
2) Fit the blade holder 7 with the blade 8 onto the guide axle 0.
3) Prepare the food that will be processed:
Particularly hard foods should be cut into
smaller pieces (approx. 2 cm / 0.79 inches) before processing.
Otherwise, the motor may stall. Use a pulsing mode for process-
ing hard foods. To do this, briefly press the respective speed
button 1/2 several times.
–Cut solid food into pieces approx. 2 cm / 0.79 inches) in
size.
–Remove the stems and stalks of herbs.
–Remove the shells of nuts, e.g. walnuts.
–Remove bones, skin, and tendons from meat.

4) Place the food in the bowl 9. Use the table below for orienta-
tion:

The specified times and quantities in this table are recom-
mended values and can vary depending on the condition of the
food that is processed!
5) Place the lid 5 on the bowl 9 in such a manner that the sealing
ring 6 rests on the edge of the bowl 9 and the blade holder 7
protrudes through the opening in the lid 5.
One of the two catches e on the inner ring of the lid 5 should
point to the front, i.e. towards you.

6) Place the motor unit 3 onto the center of the lid 5 so that the
logo is facing you.
The two catches e on the inner ring of the lid 5 now lock into
the two apertures r on the underside of the motor unit 3. If the
catches e do not immediately slip into the apertures r on the
underside of the motor unit 3, turn the motor unit 3 slightly, until
it rests flush on the lid 5 and the catches e have slipped into
the apertures r.
7) Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
While processing food, hold the bowl 9 firmly with one hand,
and hold the motor unit 3 firmly with the other hand.
8) Press the desired speed button 1/2. The blade 8 rotates as
long as you keep the speed button 1/2 depressed. The motor
stops as soon as you release the button.
If blade 8 rotation is sluggish or the blade
does not rotate at all, release the speed button 1/2 immediate-
ly and unplug the appliance. Check whether the blade 8 has
jammed due to hard/tough food; if so, remove the food.
Otherwise, the motor could overheat.
If food sticks to the inside of the bowl 9 and is no longer reached
by the blade 8, open the lid 5 and push the food further down
with a spatula or similar utensil.

9) When the food has been fully chopped, release the speed
button 1/2.
10) Unplug the appliance.
Never attempt to remove food from the bowl 9,
until the blade 8 has come to a complete stop. There is risk of
injury and food can also splash out and make a mess.
11) Wait until the blade 8 has come to a complete stop.
12) Lift the motor unit 3 off the lid 5.
13) Take off the lid 5.
Handle the extremely sharp blade 8 with
caution as it can cause injuries. Keep the blade 8 out of the
reach of children.
14)
Pull the blade holder 7 with the blade 8 carefully out of the
bowl 9.
15) Remove the food.

Whipping cream
With the emulsifying disk w you can also whip cream (min. 200 ml
/ 6.76 oz, max. 400 ml / 13.53 oz) with this appliance:
1) Place the bowl 9 on the anti-slip ring q.
2) Slide the emulsifying disk w onto the blade holder 7:
–To whip 200 - 400 ml / 6.76 - 13.53 oz of cream, fit the
emulsifying disk w onto the blade holder 7 so that the
emulsifying disk w is in contact with both parts of the blade
8 and it locks in place (Fig. 1):

3) Fit the blade holder 7 with the emulsifying disk w onto the
guide axle 0.
4) Pour in the cream.
5) Place the lid 5 on the bowl 9 in such a manner that the sealing
ring 6 rests on the edge of the bowl 9 and the blade holder 7
protrudes through the opening in the lid 5.
One of the two catches e on the inner ring of the lid 5 should
point to the front, i.e. towards you.

6) Place the motor unit 3 onto the center of the lid 5 so that the
logo is facing you. The two catches e on the inner ring of the
lid 5 now lock into the two apertures r on the underside of the
motor unit 3. If the catches e do not immediately slip into the
apertures r on the underside of the motor unit 3, turn the motor
unit 3 slightly, until it rests flush on the lid 5 and the catches e
have slipped into the apertures r.
7) Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
To whip cream, it should be well chilled before whipping (max.
8°C / 46.4 °F / refrigerator temperature).
For 200ml / 6.76 oz of whip cream, we recommend whipping it
for approx. 30-40 seconds at speed level I.
For 400ml / 13.53 oz of whip cream, we recommend whipping
it for approx. 40 seconds at speed level I.
The whipping time can vary depending on the quantity and vari-
ous influences, such as the fat content of the cream or the outside
temperature! Observe the cream while you are whipping it and
adjust the whipping time to fit your needs.

Cleaning and maintenance
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning
it.
Never immerse the appliance in water or hold
it under running water when cleaning it.
When handling the extremely sharp blade 8,
there is danger of injury. Put the appliance back together after
use and/or cleaning so that you do not injure yourself with the
exposed blade 8. Keep the blade 8 out of the reach of children.
Do not clean the motor unit 3 in the dish-
washer, as this will damage it.
1) Unplug the appliance.
2) Take the appliance apart for cleaning:
–Pull the sealing ring 6 off the lid 5.
–Remove the small rubber disk from the upper end of the
blade holder 7.
3) Clean the motor unit 3 with a damp cloth. If necessary, add
mild dish soap to the cloth. Afterwards, wipe it off with a
cloth using only clean water so that all dish soap residues are
removed.
4) Clean the bowl 9, the emulsifying disk w, the lid 5 with sealing
ring 6, the blade holder 7 with blade 8, the small rubber disk
of the blade holder 7 and the anti-slip ring q in warm water
with a mild dish soap.
Rinse all parts with clean water to remove all dish soap residues.
Thoroughly dry all parts.

Alternatively 9, the emulsifying disk w, the
blade holder 7 with blade 8 and the lid 5 with sealing ring 6
can be cleaned in the dishwasher. If possible, place the parts in
the top basket of the dishwasher. Ensure that the parts are not
wedged in.
5) After cleaning, put the sealing ring 6 back on the edge of the
lid 5. Ensure that the flat side of the sealing ring 6 rests flush
on the lid 5.
6) Fit the small rubber ring back onto the upper end of the blade
holder 7.
You can now put the appliance back together.
Storage
■ Store the clean appliance in a dry and dust-free location.

What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:

cretion, product will either be refunded or replaced.

Desempaque
1) Retire todas las partes del dispositivo y el instructivo de opera-
ción de la caja.
2) Retire todo el material de embalaje.
Verifique que el paquete esté completo y no muestre signos

Eliminación del embalaje

OPERACIÓN DE TIEMPO CORTO
La operación de tiempo corto es la cantidad de tiempo que
un dispositivo puede operarse sin que el motor se sobreca-
liente y se dañe. Una vez que el dispositivo se haya usado
durante este tiempo, apáguelo hasta que el motor se enfríe.
Inicio
Limpie completamente todos los componentes como se describe
en la sección Limpieza y cuidado antes de usar el dispositivo
por primera vez.
Operación
Corte
1) Coloque el recipiente 9 sobre el anillo antideslizante q.
2) Coloque el soporte para el aspa 7 con el aspa 8 sobre el eje
guía 0.
3) Prepare el alimento que va a ser procesado:
Los alimentos particularmente duros deberán cortarse
en piezas pequeñas (aproximadamente de 2 cm/0.79 pulgadas)
antes de procesarse. De lo contrario, el motor puede trabarse.
Use un modo de pulsos para procesar alimentos duros. Para
hacer esto, presione en forma breve el botón de velocidad corres-
pondiente 1/2 varias veces.
–Corte el alimento sólido en piezas de aproximadamente
2cm/0.79 pulgadas de tamaño.
–Elimine los tallos y rabillos de las hierbas.
–Elimine las cáscaras de las nueces.
–Elimine los huesos, piel y tendones de la carne.

5) Coloque la tapa 5 en el recipiente 9 de tal manera que el
anillo de sello 6 se apoye sobre el borde del recipiente 9 y el
soporte para el aspa 7 sobresalga a través de la abertura de
la tapa 5. Uno de los dos seguros e del anillo interno de la
tapa 5 deberá apuntar hacia el frente; es decir, hacia usted.
6) Coloque la unidad del motor 3 en el centro de la tapa 5 de
manera que el logotipo quede frente a usted.
Los dos seguros e del anillo interno de la tapa 5 ahora se in-
sertan en las dos aberturas r en la parte inferior de la unidad
del motor 3. Si los seguros e no se introducen inmediatamente
en las aberturas r de la parte inferior de la unidad del motor 3,
gire la unidad del motor 3 ligeramente hasta que se apoye a ras
sobre la tapa 5 y los seguros e se inserten en las aberturas r.
7) Conecte el dispositivo en una toma de corriente.
Mientras procesa alimentos, sujete el recipiente 9 con firmeza
con una mano y sostenga la unidad del motor 3 firmemente con
la otra.
8) Presione el botón de velocidad 1/2 que desee. El aspa 8
gira mientras mantenga el botón de velocidad 1/2 presionado.
El motor se detiene al soltar el botón.
Si el giro del aspa 8 es flojo o el aspa no gira, suel-
te el botón de velocidad 1/2 inmediatamente y desconecte el
dispositivo. Revise si el aspa 8 se trabó debido a alimento duro o
sólido; si es así, remueva el alimento.
De lo contrario, el motor podría sobrecalentase.
Si el alimento se adhiere dentro del recipiente 9 y el aspa 8 no
lo alcanza, abra la tapa 5 y empuje el alimento hacia abajo
con una espátula o utensilio similar.

9) Cuando el alimento esté completamente cortado, suelte el
botón de velocidad 1/2.
10) Desconecte el dispositivo.
Nunca intente retirar alimento del recipiente
9 hasta que el aspa 8 se haya detenido completamente. Existe
el riesgo de lesiones y el alimento puede salpicar y causar un
desorden.
11) Espere hasta que el aspa 8 se haya detenido completamente.
12) Levante la unidad del motor 3 de la tapa 5.
13) Quite la tapa 5.
Maneje el aspa 8, que es sumamente
filosa, con precaución, ya que puede causar lesiones. Mantenga
el aspa 8 fuera del alcance de los niños.
14)
Jale el soporte para el aspa 7 con el aspa 8 con cuidado
fuera del recipiente 9.
15) Retire el alimento.

Batido de crema
Con el disco emulsionador w puede también batir crema (mín.
200 ml/6.76 oz, máx. 400 ml/13.53 oz) con este dispositivo:
1) Coloque el recipiente 9 sobre el anillo antideslizante q.
2) Deslice el disco emulsionador w sobre el soporte para el aspa 7:
–Para batir de 200 a 400 ml/6.76 a 13.53 oz de crema,
coloque el disco emulsionador w en el soporte para el
aspa 7 de manera que el disco emulsionador w haga
contacto con ambas partes del aspa 8 y se asegure en
su lugar (Fig. 1):

3) Coloque el soporte para el aspa 7 en el disco emulsionador w
en el eje guía 0.
4) Vierta la crema.
5) Coloque la tapa 5 en el recipiente 9 de tal manera que el
anillo de sello 6 se apoye sobre el borde del recipiente 9 y el
soporte para el aspa 7 sobresalga a través de la abertura de
la tapa 5. Uno de los dos seguros e del anillo interno de la
tapa 5 deberá apuntar hacia el frente; es decir, hacia usted.

6) Coloque la unidad del motor 3 en el centro de la tapa 5 de
manera que el logotipo quede frente a usted. Los dos seguros e

7) Conecte el dispositivo en una toma de corriente.
Para batir crema, esta debe estar bien enfriada antes de batirse
(máx. 8 °C/46.4 °F/temperatura del refrigerador).
Para 200ml/6.76 oz de crema batida, recomendamos batirla
aproximadamente durante 30 a 40 segundos a la velocidad I.
Para 400ml/13.53 oz de crema batida, recomendamos batirla
aproximadamente durante 40 segundos a la velocidad I.
El tiempo de batido puede variar según la cantidad y varios fac-
tores como el contenido de grasa de la crema o la temperatura
externa. Observe la crema mientras la bate y ajuste el tiempo de
batido de acuerdo con sus necesidades.

Limpieza y mantenimiento
Desenchufe siempre el dispositivo antes de
limpiarlo.
Nunca sumerja el dispositivo en agua ni lo
sostenga bajo el chorro de agua al limpiarlo.
Cuando maneje el aspa sumamente filosa
8, existe el riesgo de lesiones. Vuelva a ensamblar el dispositivo
después de usarlo o limpiarlo de manera que no se lesione con el
aspa 8 expuesta. Mantenga el aspa 8 fuera del alcance de los
niños.
No lave la unidad del motor 3 en una máquina lava-
platos, ya que esta la dañará.
1) Desconecte el dispositivo.
2) Desarme el dispositivo para limpiarlo:
–Quite el anillo de sello 6 de la tapa 5.
–Retire el pequeño disco de caucho del extremo superior
del soporte para el aspa 7.
3) Limpie la unidad del motor 3 con un paño húmedo. Si es nece-
sario, agregue jabón para vajillas suave al paño . Posteriormente,
límpiela con un paño usando solamente agua para remover
todos los residuos de jabón.
4) Limpie el recipiente 9, el disco emulsionador w, la tapa 5
con el anillo de sello 6, el soporte del aspa 7 con el aspa 8,
el disco de caucho pequeño del soporte para el aspa 7 y el
anillo antideslizante q en agua tibia con un jabón para vajillas
suave.
Enjuague todas las partes con agua limpia para remover todos
los residuos de jabón.
Seque completamente todas las partes.

En forma alternativa el recipiente 9, el disco emulsionador w,
el soporte para el aspa 7 con el aspa 8 y la tapa 5 con el
anillo de sello 6 pueden lavarse en la máquina lavaplatos. Si es
posible, coloque las partes en la canasta superior de la máquina
lavaplatos. Asegúrese de que las partes no se oculten.
5) Después de lavarlo, coloque el anillo de sello 6 nuevamente
en la orilla de la tapa 5. Asegúrese de que el lado plano del
anillo de sello 6 quede a ras de la tapa 5.
6) Coloque el pequeño anillo de caucho nuevamente en el extremo
superior del soporte para el aspa 7.
Ahora puede volver a armar el dispositivo.
Almacenamiento
■ Guarde el dispositivo limpio en un lugar seco y libre de polvo.
