To install trolley – Place top section in
position on wire rope. Slide sections
together until they snap (lock) in place.
NOTE: Sections may be assembled in only one way. Slide “un-blocked”
end into “un-blocked” end. Do not force.
To remove – Insert small, straight bladed
screwdriver into slot beside cable opening (not slit on side
of trolley) and pry gently as shown above. Do not turn screwdriver. Slide Apart.

STEP 1– Mount tension brackets or other suitable device for
holding stretched wire rope. See Figure 3.
STEP 2– Install eye-bolts in tension brackets with end clamp on
fixed cable end of system only. See Figure 3. Eye-bolt should
protrude maximum 0.25"(6mm) through nut (Fig. 4).
STEP 3– Slide rubber bumper onto wire rope. Thread wire rope
through eye-bolt on one end of system. Install thimble in loop.
Secure wire rope with two (2) cable clamps. See Figure 3.
Repeat on other end, pulling wire rope as tight as possible before
securing.
STEP 4– Tighten wire rope by turning nuts on eye-bolts. See
Figure 4.
STEP 5–Install tow bar on crane or moving machine with slot
in tow bar facing downward. End of tow bar must be beneath
wire rope and extend beyond wire rope minimum of 2”. Affix
tow clamp to under side of tow bar. See Figure 5.
STEP 6– Lay-out trolleys on floor. Install cable or hose in trolley
hangers allowing for: 1–Three foot loop depth. 2–One additional
loop between first intermediate trolley and end clamp. 3–One
additional loop between last trolley and tow clamp. 4–Length at
each end for hook up. Tighten clamps until just snug.
STEP 7– Slide bumper to fixed cable end of wire rope. Raise
assembled festoon to wire rope and attach trolleys as shown in
Figure 1.
STEP 8– Affix cable or hose to end clamp and tow clamp and
complete hook-up. Test festoon by moving thru full Active
Travel. Adjust loop depth as required for best operation.
STEP 9–Tighten clamps to secure cable or hose.

WIRE ROPE FESTOON KITS with NYLON TROLLEYS
Failure to read, understand, and follow these installation instructions may
result in damage to festoon or personal injury.
WARNING
NOTE: The traditional method of wire rope festoon installation is to assemble the entire festoon, including wire rope, on the floor
and then lift the assembly to affix both ends of the wire rope. However, because of the ease of installing these festoon trolleys onto
a stretched wire rope (see Figures 1 & 2), many users find it easier and safer to install the wire rope prior to hanging the festoon.
These instructions outline the latter method.

Para instalar el carro – Coloque la sec-
ción superior en su lugar sobre el cable
metálico. Deslice las secciones juntas
hasta que embonen (se fijen) en el lugar.
NOTA: Las secciones pueden ensamblarse solamente en una forma. Deslice el
extremo “no bloqueado” dentro del extremo “no bloqueado”. No force.
Para quitar – Inserte un destornillador
pequeño de hoja recta dentro de la ranura que está cerca de la abertura del
cable (no corte en el lado del carro) y haga palanca suavemente, como se
muestra arriba. No gire el destornillador. Separe.

PASO 1 – Monte las ménsulas de tensión o otros dispositivos adecua-
dos para sujetar el cable metálico estirado. Ver Figura 3.
PASO 2 – Instale las armellas en las ménsulas de tensión con la
abrazadera final sobre el extremo del cable fijo del sistema solamente.
Ver Figura 3. Las armellas deben sobresalir 6 mm máximo a través de
la tuerca (Fig. 4).
PASO 3 – Deslice el tope de hule sobre el cable metálico. Ensarte el
cable metálico a través de la armella en un extremo del sistema. Instale
el obturador en el anillo. Fije el cable metálico con dos (2) abrazaderas
para cable. Ver Figura 3. Repita en el otro extremo, jalando la cuerda
para que quede lo más tensa posible antes de fijar.
PASO 4 – Apriete el cable metálico girando las tuercas en las armellas.
Ver Figura 4.
PASO 5 – Instale la barra de tracción en la grúa o máquina móvil con la
ranura hacia abajo. El extremo de la barra de tracción debe quedar
debajo del cable metálico y extenderse más allá del cable metálico un
mínimo de 2”. Una la abrazadera de tracción al lado de abajo de la
barra de tracción. Ver Figura 5.
PASO 6 – Recueste los carros en el piso. Instale el cable o manguera
en los suspensores dejando espacio para: 1- Una profundidad de lazo
de 3 pies. 2 – Un lazo adicional entre el primer carro intermedio y la
abrazadera final. 3 – un lazo adicional entre el último carro y la
abrazadera de tracción. 4 – Cierta longitud en cada extremo para el
enganche. Apriete las abrazaderas solamente hasta ajustar.
PASO 7 - Deslice el tope al extremo fijo del cable de cable metálico.
Suba el festón ensamblado hasta el cable metálico y una los carros
como se muestra en la Figura 1.
PASO 8 – Una el cable o manguera a la abrazadera final y la
abrazadera de tracción, y termine el enganche. Pruebe el festón
moviéndolo toda la Trayectoria Activa. Ajuste la profundidad del lazo,
según se requiera para una mejor operación.
PASO 9 - Apriete las abrazaderas para fijar el cable o la manguera.

JUEGOS DE FESTÓN DE CABLE METÁLICO CON CARROS DE NYLON
No leer, comprender y seguir estas instrucciones de instalación puede
causar daños al festón o lesiones personales.
ADVERTENCIA
NOTA: El método tradicional para instalar el festón de cable metálico es ensamblar el festón completo, incluyendo el cable metálico,
en el piso y después levantar el montaje para unir ambos extremos del cable metálico. Sin embargo, dada la facilidad de instalar
estos carros de festón sobre un cable metálico estirado (ver Figuras 1 y 2), muchos usuarios encuentran que es más fácil y más
seguro instalar el cable metálico antes de colgar el festón. Estas instrucciones esbozan este último método.
