a) Consignes de sécurité

Installation et branchement :

 Cet appareil est destiné uniquement à un usage domestique

pour le réchauffage de l’eau. Il ne peut être utilisé qu’en

milieu couvert, fermé et chauffé tel qu’une cuisine ou toute

autre pièce répondant aux mêmes spécifications.

 Après avoir retiré votre produit de son emballage, vérifiez

que l’appareil soit en parfait état et particulièrement que la

fiche ou le câble d’alimentation ne soient pas endommagés.

En cas de doute, s’adresser au service après-vente de votre

revendeur.

 Avant de brancher l’appareil, s’assurer que la tension du

secteur corresponde bien à celle indiquée sur la plaque

signalétique de l’appareil.

 L’utilisation d’adaptateurs et/ou de rallonges est

déconseillée. Si ces éléments s’avéraient indispensables,

utilisez seulement des adaptateurs et des rallonges qui

respectent les normes de sécurité en vigueur.

 Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à être mis en fonctionnement

au moyen d’une minuterie extérieure ou par un système de

commande à distance séparée.

 Avant d’utiliser cet appareil, placez-le sur une surface sèche,

lisse et stable.

 Gardez l’appareil et son cordon d’alimentation hors de

portée des enfants de moins de 8 ans.

 Ne placer aucun objet dans la bouilloire ainsi que dans ses

cavités.

 Ne pas utiliser le socle d’une autre bouilloire. N’utilisez que

le socle fourni.

 Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l’appareil.

Lors de l’utilisation :

 Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour être utilisé par des

enfants à moins qu’ils aient plus de 8 ans et qu’ils soient

supervisés ou formés à l’utilisation de l’appareil par une

personne responsable de leur sécurité.

 Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des personnes à capacités

physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites, seulement

après leur avoir donné les informations nécessaires

concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil, afin qu’ils aient

conscience des dangers encourus.

 Les parties accessibles de cet appareil peuvent devenir

chaudes pendant son fonctionnement. Les jeunes enfants

doivent être tenus à l’écart à moins qu’ils ne soient

continuellement surveillés. Saisir toujours l’appareil par la

poignée.

 Attention, ne pas ouvrir le couvercle lorsque l’appareil est en

humides.

 Ne pas placer l’appareil sur ou près d’une surface chaude

(poêle, fourneau, plaque de cuisson, four chaud, four micro-

onde etc.)

 Ne pas abandonner l’appareil allumé ou le faire fonctionner

à vide, car il peut représenter une source de danger.

 Ne pas remplir la bouilloire lorsqu’elle est positionnée sur sa

base.

 Ne pas remplir la bouilloire au-delà du niveau « MAX». Si la

bouilloire est trop remplie, de l’eau bouillante peut être

éjectée. Ne pas mettre en marche la bouilloire si le niveau

d’eau est en dessous du niveau « MIN ».

 Ne jamais débrancher le cordon d’alimentation lorsque

l’appareil est en chauffe.

 Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon mais débranchez l’appareil en

tenant la prise.

 L’utilisation d’accessoires non recommandés par le fabricant

de l’appareil peut entraîner des dangers ou des blessures.

Entretien et nettoyage :

 Avant tout nettoyage, s’assurer que le cordon d’alimentation

de l’appareil soit débranché. Laissez refroidir l’appareil avant

de le nettoyer.

 Le cordon d’alimentation ne peut être remplacé. Si le câble

est endommagé, il convient de mettre l’appareil au rebut.

Ce produit est garanti par votre distributeur. Pour plus de

détails, veuillez vous reporter aux conditions de garantie

fournies par celui-ci.

 Pour vous protéger des risques de choc électrique,

n’immergez en aucun cas la base de l’appareil dans l’eau ou

autres liquides.

 Ne pas utiliser de produits chimiques, de laine d’acier ou de

nettoyants abrasifs pour nettoyer l’extérieur de la bouilloire,

cela risque de la détériorer.

 Le nettoyage et l’entretien de l’appareil ne doivent pas être

faits par des enfants à moins qu’ils aient plus de 8 ans et

qu’ils soient supervisés.

c) Protection de l’environnement

Arrivé en fin de vie, ce produit ne doit pas être jeté avec les ordures

ménagères. Il doit être apporté dans une déchetterie ou à votre revendeur.

découlant d'une élimination inappropriée et de recycler les matériaux en vue de

réaliser des économies d'énergie et de ressources significatives.

Un logo vous rappelant que vous ne devez pas le jeter avec les ordures ménagères

apparaît sur le produit. Pour de plus amples informations, contacter votre mairie

ou le magasin où vous avez acheté ce produit.

2) PRESENTATION DE VOTRE APPAREIL

b) Avant la première utilisation

Déballez l’appareil, enlevez tous les papiers et plastiques. Vérifiez qu’il ne reste pas de morceau

d’emballage.

Avant d’utiliser votre bouilloire pour la première fois ou si vous ne l’avez pas utilisée depuis

longtemps, la remplir jusqu’au niveau maximum et faire bouillir l’eau, conformément aux

indications du paragraphe suivant, puis la jeter. Répétez l’action 2 à 3 fois.

3) UTILISATION DE VOTRE APPAREIL

a) Remplissage de la bouilloire

 Posez l’appareil sur une surface sèche, plane et stable.

 Retirez l’appareil de sa base. Ouvrir le couvercle en appuyant sur le poussoir d’ouverture

et remplir la bouilloire d’eau.

 La quantité d’eau est visible à travers l’indicateur du niveau d’eau et elle ne doit jamais

être inférieure à la marque MIN et supérieure à la marque MAX. Attention, si la bouilloire

est trop remplie, l’eau risque d’être éjectée lors de l’ébullition.

 Refermez le couvercle et placez la bouilloire sur son socle.

Ne jamais remplir la bouilloire par le bec verseur. Ne jamais ouvrir le couvercle

lorsque l’eau bout.

Évitez le contact avec la vapeur provenant du bec verseur.

b) Branchement et installation préalable

 Fermez le couvercle en veillant à l’emboîter hermétiquement.

 Placez la bouilloire sur sa base. Déroulez le cordon et branchez l’appareil.

c) Utilisation de la bouilloire

 Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt qui se situe en dessous de la poignée. Le voyant

lumineux s’allume et l’eau commence à bouillir.

 Lorsque l’eau arrive à ébullition, la bouilloire s’arrête automatiquement.

Remarque : en cas de surchauffe de l’appareil, la bouilloire s’arrête automatiquement.

 Vous pouvez arrêter le processus à tout moment en appuyant sur le bouton arrêt.

 Assurez-vous toujours que le couvercle soit bien fermé et ne jamais soulever lorsque l’eau

bout, afin d’éviter tout risque de brulure.

 Après ébullition, éteindre l’appareil en appuyant sur le bouton arrêt et débrancher le socle.

 La bouilloire peut maintenant être retirée en toute sécurité de sa base et l’eau peut être

versée dans des tasses.

Versez l’eau bouillante lentement et attentivement sans basculer la bouilloire trop

vite, afin d’éviter tout risque de brulure.

 Après utilisation, replacez la bouilloire sur son socle.

4) ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE DE VOTRE APPAREIL

a) Nettoyage de la bouilloire

Avant de procéder à son nettoyage, débranchez l’appareil et le laisser refroidir complètement.

 Nettoyez la partie extérieure de la bouilloire avec un chiffon légèrement humide et veillez

à maintenir toujours secs les composants électriques.

 Ne pas utiliser de produits chimiques abrasifs ou solvants.

 Pour éviter le passage de particules calcaires dans le liquide, la bouilloire est munie d’un

filtre. Pour nettoyer le filtre, l’enlever en tirant vers le haut. Le nettoyer sous le robinet à

l’aide d’une brosse douce, pour éliminer le calcaire incrusté. Le filtre peut être nettoyé au

lave-vaisselle.

 Nettoyez l’intérieur de la verseuse à l’eau savonneuse.

Ne jamais immerger le socle de l’appareil dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.

b) Conseils d’entretien

Avec le temps, il est possible que des dépôts de calcaire se forment à l’intérieur de la bouilloire.

Un excès de calcaire peut empêcher le bon fonctionnement de l’appareil. Il est alors conseillé

de procéder à un détartrage.

Pour cela :

 Remplir la bouilloire avec un mélange d’eau et de vinaigre blanc (2 doses d’eau pour 1

dose de vinaigre).

 Portez à ébullition (100°C) et laissez reposer toute une nuit.

 Le lendemain, videz le contenu de la bouilloire et faites bouillir de l’eau à plusieurs reprises

jusqu'à disparition complète du vinaigre.

Pour enlever tout reste de calcaire, utilisez des produits désincrustants du commerce. Ne pas

essayer de désincruster le calcaire en grattant ou en raclant l’intérieur de la bouilloire.

Keep these instructions with your machine. If you sell

this machine to another person second-hand, make sure

you give the new owner these instructions. Please read

these instructions before installing and using your

machine. They are written for your safety and that of

others.

a) Safety Instructions

Installation and connection

 This machine is for domestic use only, for heating water. It

may only be used in a covered, enclosed and heated

environment such as a kitchen or any other room meeting

the same specifications.

 Having taken your product out of its packaging, check that

the machine is in perfect condition and, in particular, that

the plug or the power cable is not damaged. If there is any

doubt contact your dealer's after-sales service.

 Before connecting the machine make sure that the mains

voltage corresponds with that indicated on the machine's

rating plate.

 The use of adaptors and/or extension leads is not

recommended. If these items prove to be indispensable,

only use adaptors and extension leads compliant with the

safety standards in force.

 This machine is not intended to be put into operation using

an external timer or a separate remote control system.

 Before using this machine place it on a smooth, dry, stable

surface.

 Keep the machine and its power cable out of reach of

children under the age of 8.

 Do not put any objects in the kettle or any of its cavities.

 Do not use the base of another kettle. Only use the base

supplied.

 Children must not play with the machine.

During Use

 This machine is not designed to be used by children unless

they are older than 8 and they are supervised or instructed

in the use of the machine by someone who is responsible

for their safety.

 This machine may be used by people with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capacities, but only after having given

them the necessary information concerning the use of the

machine, so that they are aware of the dangers that may be

incurred.

 The accessible parts of this machine may become hot when

it is operating. Young children must be kept away or

continually supervised. Always pick up the machine by the

handle.

 This machine is not intended for any use other than heating

water. Any other use may cause a risk of fire or injury.

 Do not open the lid when the machine is heating. The

steam produced could be dangerous.

 Do not touch the machine with wet hands.

 Do not place the machine on or near a hot surface (wood

burner, furnace, hob, hot oven, micro-wave, etc.)

 Do not leave the machine turned on or operate it when

empty, because it could be a source of danger.

 Do not fill the kettle when it is in position on its base.

 Do not fill the kettle beyond the "MAX" level. If the kettle is

overfull the boiling water may be ejected. Do not start the

kettle if the water level is below the "MIN" level.

 Never unplug the power cable when the machine is heating.

 Never pull the lead but disconnect the machine by holding

the plug.

 The use of accessories not recommended by the

manufacturer of the machine may cause danger or injuries.

Maintenance and cleaning

 Before cleaning ensure that the power cable for the

machine is unplugged. Allow the machine to cool before

cleaning.

 The power cable cannot be replaced. If the cable is

damaged the machine should be discarded. This product is

guaranteed by your distributor. For more details please refer

to the guarantee conditions provided by the distributor.

 To protect yourself from the risk of electric shock, do not in

any circumstances immerse the base of the machine in

water or other liquids.

 Do not use chemical products, steel wool or abrasive

cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle. This risks

damaging it.

 Cleaning and maintenance of the machine should not be

carried out by children unless they are older than 8 and are

supervised.

Non-compliant use

 Only use this machine for the purposes described in this

manual.

 The manufacturer denies all responsibility in the event of

non-compliant use.

 This machine is exclusively intended for domestic use in

private dwellings. The use of this product in communal or

professional premises such as rooms for breaks in offices or

workshops, camping or hotel premises, does not represent

compliant use as defined by the manufacturer.

must be taken to a recycling centre or to your dealer. This makes it possible to avoid

consequences resulting from inappropriate disposal that are harmful to health and

the environment, and to recycle materials to save energy and significant resources.

A logo appears on the product reminding you not to discard it with household waste.

b) Before Using for the First Time

Unpack the machine and remove all the paper and plastic. Make sure no pieces of packaging

remain.

Before using your kettle for the first time or if you have not used it for a long time, fill it up to

the maximum level and boil the water, in compliance with the instructions in the following

paragraph. Then discard the water, Repeat 2 or 3 times.

3) USING YOUR MACHINE

a) Filling the Kettle

 Place the machine on a dry, flat, stable surface.

 Remove the kettle from the base. Open the lid by pressing the opening push-button (2)

and fill the kettle with water.

 The quantity of water can be seen through the water level (3). It must never be less than

the MIN mark or more than the MAX mark. Caution, if the kettle is overfull water may be

ejected when boiling.

 Close the lid and put the kettle on its base.

Never fill the kettle through the spout. Never open the lid when the water is boiling.

Avoid contact with the steam from the kettle

b) Connection and Prior Installation

 Close the lid so the seal is hermetic.

 Put the kettle on its base. Unroll the lead and plug the machine in.

c) Using the Kettle

 Press the On/Off button which is below the handle. The indicator light comes on and the

water starts to boil.

 When the water comes to the boil the kettle stops automatically.

Note: if the machine overheats, the kettle stops automatically.

 You can stop the process at any time by pressing the Stop button.

 Always make sure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling to prevent

any risk of burns.

 After boiling turn off the kettle by pressing the Stop button and disconnect the base.

 The kettle can now be removed from its base safely and the water can be poured into

cups.

Pour the boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast, to

prevent any risk of burns.

 After use, put the kettle back on its base.

4) LOOKING AFTER AND CLEANING YOUR MACHINE

a) Cleaning the Kettle

Before cleaning it unplug the machine and let it cool completely.

 Clean the outside of the kettle with a slightly damp cloth and make sure the electrical

components are always kept dry.

 Do not use abrasive chemicals or solvents.

 To avoid limescale particles in the liquid, the kettle has a filter. To clean the filter remove

it by pulling it upwards. Clean it under the tap with a soft brush to remove the encrusted

limescale. The filter can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

 Clean the inside of the kettle with soapy water.

Never immerse the base of the machine in water or any other liquid.

b) Maintenance Instructions

Over time it is possible that limescale deposits will form inside the kettle. Excess limescale

prevents the machine working properly. It is therefore recommended that the kettle is descaled.

To do this:

 Fill the kettle with a mixture of water and white vinegar (2/3 water and 1/3 vinegar).

 Bring to the boil (100°C) and leave to work overnight.

 The next day empty the kettle and boil water in it several times until the vinegar

disappears completely.

To remove any remaining limescale use commercial descaling products. Do not try to remove

the limescale by scraping or scratching the inside of the kettle.

a) Instrucciones de seguridad

Instalación y conexión:

 Este aparato está diseñado únicamente para calentar agua

para uso doméstico. Debe utilizarse siempre en lugares

cubiertos, cerrados y a buena temperatura, tal como las

cocinas u otras habitaciones que respondan a esas

características.

 Una vez sacado el producto de su caja, compruebe que el

aparato está en perfecto estado, especialmente que no

hayan sufrido ningún daño el enchufe y el cable. Si tuviera

 No tire nunca del cordón. Desenchufe el aparato tirando del

enchufe.

 Utilizar accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante del

aparato puede ser peligroso y causar lesiones.

Conservación y limpieza:

 Antes de proceder a la limpieza, compruebe que el cable

está desenchufado. Antes de limpiar el aparato, déjelo que

se enfríe.

 No se puede reemplazar el cable. Si el cable estuviera

dañado, es conveniente deshacerse de todo el aparato. Este

b) Antes de usarlo por primera vez

Desembale el aparato, y retire todos los papeles y plásticos. Compruebe que no queda ningún

elemento dentro del embalaje.

Antes de usar su hervidor por primera vez, o si hiciera tiempo que no lo ha utilizado, llénelo

hasta el nivel máximo y haga que hierva el agua de acuerdo con las indicaciones del apartado

siguiente. A continuación, tire el agua. Repita esta operación 2 o 3 veces.

3) UTILIZACIÓN DE SU APARATO

a) Llenar el hervidor

 Coloque la cafetera sobre una superficie seca, plana y estable.

 Retire el aparato fuera de su base. Levante la tapa pulsando el botón de apertura y llene

el hervidor de agua.

 La cantidad de agua se ve en el indicador del nivel de agua. No debe quedar nunca por

debajo de la señal MIN, ni por encima de la señal MAX. Precaución: si se llena demasiado

el hervidor, existe el peligro de que salte agua al hervir.

 Cierre la tapa y coloque el hervidor sobre su base.

No llene nunca el hervidor por el pico vertedor.

No levante nunca la tapa con el agua hirviendo.

Evite cualquier contacto con el vapor procedente del pico vertedor.

b) Conexión y antes de la instalación

 Cierre la tapa con cuidado para que cierre herméticamente.

 Coloque el hervidor sobre su base. Desenrolle el cable y enchufe el aparato a la red

eléctrica.

c) Utilización del hervidor

 Pulse el botón de encendido/apagado situado debajo del asa. Se encenderá el indicador

luminoso, y el agua empezará a hervir.

 Cuando el agua esté hirviendo, el hervidor se detendrá automáticamente.

Observación: si se recalentara el aparato, el hervidor se detendrá automáticamente.

 Puede detener la operación en todo momento, pulsando el botón de apagado.

 Compruebe que la tapa está bien cerrada, y no la levante si el agua está hirviendo, pues

existe el riesgo de quemarse.

 Una vez hierva, apague el aparato pulsando el botón de apagado, y desenchufe la base.

 Ahora ya puede retirar el hervidor de la base con total seguridad, y puede servir el agua

en tazas.

Vierta el agua hirviendo despacio y cuidadosamente sin inclinar bruscamente el

hervidor, para evitar riesgos de quemarse.

 Una vez utilizado, vuelva a colocar el hervidor sobre su base.

4) CONSERVACIÓN Y LIMPIEZA DE SU APARATO

a) Limpieza del hervidor

Antes de proceder a su limpieza, desenchufe el aparato y deje que se enfríe completamente.

 Limpie el hervidor por fuera con un paño ligeramente húmedo, y tenga cuidado de que los

componentes eléctricos permanezcan siempre secos.

 No emplee productos químicos abrasivos ni disolventes.

 Para evitar que pasen partículas calcáreas al líquido, el hervidor lleva un filtro. Para limpiar

el filtro, extráigalo tirando hacia arriba. Lávelo al grifo y límpielo con un cepillo suave para

eliminar cualquier incrustación de cal. Puede limpiar el filtro en el lavavajillas.

 Limpie el interior de la jarra de servir con agua con jabón.

No sumerja nunca la base del aparato en el agua ni en ningún otro líquido.

b) Recomendaciones de mantenimiento

Con el tiempo, es posible que se deposite cal dentro del hervidor. Un exceso de depósitos de

cal puede hacer que no funcione correctamente el aparato. Llegado ese momento, se

recomienda eliminar las incrustaciones.

Para ello:

 Llene el hervidor con una mezcla de agua y vinagre blanco (2 dosis de agua por 1 dosis de

vinagre).

 Hierva (100°C) la mezcla, y déjela reposar durante toda una noche.

 Al día siguiente, vacíe todo el contenido del hervidor y hierva agua varias veces hasta que

haya desaparecido completamente el vinagre.

Para eliminar cualquier resto de cal, emplee cualquier producto contra incrustaciones del

comercio. No intente eliminar las incrustaciones de cal raspando o rascando el interior del

hervidor.

1) TER ATTENTIE VAN DE GEBRUIKER

Deze gebruikshandleiding bij het apparaat bewaren.

Mocht u het apparaat verkopen of afstaan aan iemand

anders, moet u ervoor zorgen dat de

gebruikshandleiding aan de nieuwe eigenaar wordt

bezorgd. Wij verzoeken u kennis te nemen van de

handleiding voordat u het apparaat gaat installeren en

gebruiken. Deze handleiding met de erin staande tips

zijn opgesteld voor uw veiligheid en die van anderen.

a) Veiligheidsvoorschriften

Installatie en aansluiting:

 Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoudelijk

gebruik voor het opwarmen van water. Het mag enkel

gebruikt worden in een afgedekte, gesloten en verwarmde

omgeving zoals een keuken of elke andere ruimte die aan

dezelfde specificaties beantwoordt.

 Na het uitpakken van uw product, moet u controleren of het

zich in perfecte staat bevindt en in het bijzonder of de

voedingsstekker en -kabel niet beschadigd zijn. In geval van

twijfel neemt u contact op met de dienst na verkoop van uw

verkoper.

 Alvorens het apparaat aan te sluiten, dient u zich ervan te

vergewissen dat de netspanning wel degelijk overeenkomt

met die op het typeplaatje van het apparaat.

 Het gebruik van adapters en/of verlengsnoeren wordt

afgeraden. Indien deze elementen noodzakelijk blijken,

gebruikt u enkel adapters en verlengsnoeren die voldoen

aan de vigerende veiligheidsnormen.

 Dit apparaat mag niet worden bediend door middel van een

externe timer of een afzonderlijk aangekocht

afstandsbedieningssysteem.

 Alvorens dit apparaat te gebruiken, plaatst u het op een

droog, glad en stabiel oppervlak.

 Houd dit apparaat en het snoer ervan buiten het bereik van

kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar.

 Plaats geen enkel voorwerp in de ketel en in de holtes.

 Gebruik geen sokkel van een andere waterkoker. Gebruik

enkel de bijgeleverde sokkel.

 Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.

Tijdens het gebruik:

 Dit apparaat mag gebruikt worden door kinderen vanaf 8

jaar indien ze via een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor

hun veiligheid onder toezicht staan of voorafgaand

instructies kregen.

 Dit apparaat mag gebruikt worden door personen met een

beperkt lichamelijk, zintuiglijk of geestelijk vermogen, op

voorwaarde dat zij instructies betreffende het gebruik van

dit apparaat hebben ontvangen en zich bewust zijn van de

gevaren die het gebruik ervan kan inhouden.

 De bijbehorende onderdelen van dit apparaat kunnen warm

worden tijdens de werking. Jonge kinderen moeten op een

afstand gehouden worden behalve wanneer ze voortdurend

onder toezicht staan. Houd het apparaat steeds vast met

het handvat.

 Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor het verwarmen van

water. Elk ander gebruik kan leiden tot brand of

verwondingen.

 Opgelet, open het deksel niet wanneer het apparaat aan het

opwarmen is, de geproduceerde stoom kan gevaarlijk zijn.

 Raak het apparaat niet aan met natte of vochtige handen.

 Plaats het apparaat niet op of in de buurt van een warm

oppervlak (kachel, fornuis, kookplaat, warme oven,

microgolfoven enz.)

 Laat uw toestel nooit achter zonder toezicht wanneer het in

gebruik is of laat het niet leeg werken, want dit leidt tot

gevaar.

 Vul de waterkoker niet wanneer deze op zijn basis staat.

 Vul de waterkoker niet tot voorbij het "MAX"-niveau. Als de

waterkoker te vol is, kan het kokend water overlopen. Zet

de waterkoker niet op als waterniveau zich onder het "MIN"-

niveau bevindt.

 Ontkoppel het voedingssnoer nooit wanneer het apparaat

warm is.

 Trek nooit aan het snoer, maar ontkoppel het apparaat door

het stopcontact tegen te houden.

 Het gebruik van accessoires die niet aanbevolen worden

door de fabrikant van het apparaat kan tot gevaar of

verwondingen leiden.

Onderhoud en het schoonmaken:

 Voor het schoonmaken ontkoppelt u het voedingssnoer van

het apparaat. Laat het apparaat afkoelen alvorens het

schoon te maken.

 Het voedingssnoer mag niet vervangen worden. Als het

snoer beschadigd is, dient u het apparaat te verwijderen.

Dit apparaat geniet garantie van uw verdeler. Voor meer

details verwijzen we naar de garantievoorwaarden die u

door uw verdeler werden bezorgd.

 Om elektrocutie te voorkomen, mag u de basis van het

apparaat in geen geval in water of een andere vloeistof

dompelen.

 Gebruik geen chemische producten, staalwol of

schuurmiddelen om de buitenkant van de waterkoker

schoon te maken, dit kan leiden tot beschadiging.

 Het apparaat mag niet worden schoongemaakt of

onderhouden door kinderen behalve wanneer ze ouder zijn

dan 8 jaar en onder toezicht staan.

Onzorgvuldig gebruik:

 Gebruik dit apparaat uitsluitend voor de in de

gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven doeleinden.

 De fabrikant wijst iedere aansprakelijkheid van de hand in

geval van onzorgvuldig gebruik.

 Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoudelijk

gebruik in privéwoningen. Het gebruik van dit product in

gemeenschappelijke of professionele lokalen zoals

koffieruimtes op kantoren of werkplaatsen, campings, hotels

enz. beantwoordt niet aan een zorgvuldig gebruik zoals

bepaald door de fabrikant.

c) Milieubescherming

Aan het einde van de levensduur mag dit product niet samen met ander

huishoudelijk afval weggegooid worden. Lever het in in een containerpark of bij uw

verkoper. Dat maakt het mogelijk om de schadelijke gevolgen voor het milieu en de

gezondheid te vermijden en materialen te recyclen waardoor er heel wat energie en

middelen kunnen worden bespaard.

Het product bevat een logo dat u eraan herinnert dat u het product niet mag

b) Voor het eerste gebruik

Pak het apparaat uit, verwijder het papier en het plastic. Controleer of er geen

verpakkingsresten achterblijven.

Vooraleer u de waterkoker voor de eerste keer gebruikt of als u deze gedurende lange tijd niet

gebruikt heeft, vult u deze tot het maximumniveau en laat u het water koken, volgens de

onderstaande aanduidingen. Giet het water vervolgens weg. Herhaal dit 2 tot 3 keer.

3) GEBRUIK VAN UW APPARAAT

a) Vullen van de waterkoker

 Plaats het apparaat op een glad, vlak en stabiel oppervlak.

 Haal het apparaat van de basis. Open het deksel door op de drukknop te drukken en vul

de waterkoker met water.

 De hoeveelheid water is zichtbaar langs de waterpeil-indicator (3) het waterpeil mag nooit

lager zijn dan het MIN-teken en hoger zijn dan het MAX-teken. Opgelet, als de waterkoker

te vol is kan het water tijdens het koken overlopen.

 Sluit het deksel opnieuw en plaats de waterkoker op zijn sokkel.

Vul de waterkoker nooit via de schenktuit.

Open het deksel niet wanneer het water kookt.

Vermijd contact met de stoom afkomstig van de schenktuit.

b) Aansluiting en voorafgaande installatie

 Sluit het deksel hermetisch af.

 Plaats de waterkoker op zijn basis. Rol het snoer uit en sluit het apparaat aan.

c) Gebruik van de waterkoker

 Druk op de aan/uit knop die zich onder het handvat bevindt. Het lampje gaat branden en

het water begint te koken.

 Van zodra het water het kookpunt bereikt heeft, stopt de waterkoker automatisch.

Opmerking: in geval van oververhitting van het apparaat, stopt de waterkoker automatisch.

 U kunt het proces op elk moment stopzetten door op de aan/uit-knop te drukken.

 Zorg er steeds voor dat het deksel goed gesloten is en doe het nooit open wanneer het

water kookt, om brandwonden te voorkomen.

 Na het koken zet u het apparaat uit door op de aan/uit knop te drukken de sokkel los te

koppelen.

 De waterkoker kan nu in alle veiligheid van de basis gehaald worden en het water kan in

kopjes geschonken worden.

Schenk het kokende water voorzichtig en aandachtig uit zonder de waterkoker te snel

te kantelen, om brandwonden te voorkomen.

 Na gebruik, plaatst u de waterkoker opnieuw op zijn sokkel.

4) ONDERHOUD EN SCHOONMAKEN VAN UW APPARAAT

a) Schoonmaken van de waterkoker

Alvorens het apparaat schoon te maken, schakelt u het uit en laat u het volledig afkoelen.

 Maak de buitenkant van de waterkoker schoon met een enigszins vochtige doek en zorg

ervoor dat de elektrische onderdelen steeds droog blijven.

 Gebruik geen chemische producten, schuurmiddelen of oplosmiddelen.

 Om te voorkomen dat er kalkdeeltjes in de vloeistof komen is de waterkoker uitgerust met

een filter. Om het filter schoon te maken, trekt u het naar boven. Maak het schoon onder

de kraan met behulp van een zachte borstel om de aangekoekte kalk te verwijderen. Het

filter kan gewassen worden in de vaatwasmachine.

 Maak de binnenkant van de schenkkan schoon met zeepwater.

Dompel de sokkel van het apparaat nooit in water of een andere vloeistof.

b) Schoonmaakvoorschriften

In de loop der tijd kan er zich kalkafzetting vormen aan de binnenkant van de waterkoker.

Overmatige kalk kan de goede werking van het apparaat verhinderen. Het wordt aanbevolen

om het apparaat dan te ontkalken.

Daarvoor:

 Vul de waterkoker met een mengeling van water en witte azijn (2 doses voor 1 dosis

azijn).

 Laat koken (100°C) en laat de hele nacht rusten.

 De volgende dag maakt u de waterkoker leeg en laat u verschillende keren water koken

tot de azijn volledig verdwenen is.

Om alle kalkresten te verwijderen, gebruikt u kalkverwijderaars die in de handel verkrijgbaar

zijn. Probeer de kalk niet te verwijderen door de binnenkant van de waterkoker af krabben of te

schrapen.
