PÓLIZA DE GARANTÍA
Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y mano de obra, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de
la fecha de entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente esta póliza y el producto, en donde fue adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación
serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días,contados a partir de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse
efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas
posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARÁ EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa comercial donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el consumi-
dor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra póliza, previa presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from
the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1. This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product box or package, and product, must be presented when
warranty service is required.
2. If the product is in the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.

INSTALACIÓN EN WINDOWS 98SE / INSTALLATION IN WINDOWS 98SE
1. Conecte el cable USB del lector
/ escritor a un puerto USB disponible
de la computadora, ésta detectará el
nuevo hardware y solicitará los drivers
correspondientes.
2. Inserte el disco de instalación de
Windows 98 y siga las instrucciones que
aparecen en pantalla.
3. Posteriormente podrá utilizar el
equipo de forma normal.

cable into an available USB port, then the
system will detects the new hardware and
it will request for the drivers.
2. Place the Windows 98 installation
CD into the CD-ROM and follow the
instructions step-by-step.
3. After that, you can use the device.

INSTALACIÓN EN WINDOWS XP / INSTALLATION IN WINDOWS XP
En Windows XP o ME no es necesario
instalar ningún driver en la computadora.
Solamente conecte el lector / escritor en
un puerto USB disponible, una vez que lo
haga podrá ver 4 unidades adicionales en la
ventana de Mi PC.
Ahora puede comenzar a utilizar el lector
/ escritor.
In Windows XP or ME it is not necessary to
install any driver.
Only connect the reader in the
computer and it will automatically
displays four new Removable Disks in My
Computer window.
Now you can begin using the device.
MODO DE USO / HOW TO USE
1. Después de haber instalado el
equipo, encontrará íconos con la
descripción “Disco Extraíble” en la ventana
de Mi PC.
2. Introduzca una tarjeta de memoria en
la ranura correspondiente. Los pines de
la tarjeta deben coincidir con los contactos
del lector.

will nd four new icons with the description
“Removable Disk” in My Computer window.
2. Insert a memory card in the
corresponding slot, make sure to check the
pins and the way the card enter to the slot.
3. La computadora detectará la nueva
tarjeta y podrá copiar, borrar o mover
archivos como normalmente lo hace en su
disco duro.
4. Cuando ya no requiera seguir utilizando
la tarjeta,simplemente retírela del lector /
escritor.

then you can copy, delete or move les as
normally do in your hard disk.
4. If you don’t need to use a card for more
time, please release it from the reader.
Puede utilizar las 4 ranuras al mismo tiempo, y cada una de las tarjetas tendrá asignada una
letra de unidad extraíble.
-You can use four slots at the same time, and each spot has assigned a letter of Removable Disk.
Instrucciones de lectura de tarjeta SIM / SIM card read instructions
- Inserte el disco de instalación.
- Abra la carpeta USB-680.
- Ejecute el programa “setup.exe”.
- Una vez instalado, corra el programa
SimEdit.
- Inserte el lector y la tarjeta SIM en la
ranura correspondiente.
- Automáticamente podrá ver los contactos
(Agenda), historial de llamadas, mensajes
y ajustes de seguridad guardados en la
tarjeta.
- Puede hacer respaldo de sus
contactos y mensajes en la computadora
o restaurarlos en la tarjeta SIM usando las
teclas << y >>.
- Es recomendable no modicar las
opciones de seguridad.
- Insert the installation disc.
- Open the USB-680 folder.
- Run the “setup.exe” program.
- Once installed, run the SimEdit program.
- Insert the reader and SIM card into the
corresponding slot.
- You will automatically see the agenda,
call history, messages and security settings
stored on the card.
- You may backup your contacts and
messages on the computer or restore them
on the SIM card using the << and >> keys.
- It is recommended not to modify the
security options.
