IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not charge or use the appliance outdoors.
3. Never use the handheld vacuum cleaner if the cable, plug or
casing are damaged.
4. To avoid risks, arrange to have damaged power cables and/
or plugs replaced as soon as possible by a qualified special-
ist.
5. Have all repairs carried out by a specialist workshop. Under
no circumstances should you open the appliance yourself. Re-
pairs that are not carried out by a specialist workshop could
lead to physical injuries.
6. Never touch the mains adapter or the appliance with wet or
damp hands.
7. Do not use the mains adapter with an extension cable; con-
nect the mains adapter directly to a power socket.
8. This appliance is for household use only.
9. Do not change any accessories while the appliance is
switched on.
10. Do not use the handheld vacuum cleaner for vacuuming up
sharp objects or glass shards.

14. This appliance is not suitable for use with inflammable and

15. Always store the appliance indoors. To prevent accidents,
keep the appliance in a dry location when not in use.
16. Under extreme conditions, leaks in the battery cells may
occur. In the event that battery fluid comes into contact with
skin or eyes, the affected area must be rinsed off with water
immediately. Contact a physician.
17. This appliance should not be used by children and care
should be taken when used near children.
18. Children must not use the appliance as a plaything.
19. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not be carried
out by children unless they are supervised.
20. Take special care when using the handheld vacuum cleaner
on stairs.
► Always remove the hand set from the handle before cleaning

Prior to first use
This appliance is supplied with non-charged batteries. The batteries
must be charged for 6 hours before the first use.
■ Remove all packaging materials and protective stickers from
the appliance, especially the protective sticker on the contacts
on the back of the hand set 4.
■ Place the cradle f on the stand so that the cradle fclicks into
place.
Charging the appliance
Ensure that the appliance is turned off before starting to charge the
batteries.
■ To charge the appliance, connect the charger o to a power
socket and insert the barrel jack p into the charging socket d
on the cradle f. Feed the cord through the cord channel on
the charging socket d, so that the cradle f is not resting on
the cord.
■ Place the handle with the attached hand set 4 onto the cradle f.
The charge indicator light 3 lights up red. When the appliance is
fully charged, the charge indicator light 3 lights up green.

Assembly/disassembly

■ To connect the hand set 4 to the handle, push the tip of the
hand set 4 into the opening in the hand set recess e.
■ Then press the upper handle 1 of the hand set 4 into the
handle until the hand set 4 clicks firmly into position (Fig. 1).
■ To remove the hand set 4 from the handle, press the "hand
set" release w.
■ Then pull the hand set 4 upward and forward out of the hand
set recess e(Fig. 2).

Operation
The suction opening must always be open
and unblocked. Blockages lead to overheating and damage to
the motor.
Do not vacuum shag pile carpet with the floor
nozzle. The rotary brush r can get caught in the carpet and
block!
Make certain that the dust filter 6 and the
coarse filter 7 are always inserted before using the appliance.
As soon as the suction power of the appliance begins to diminish
noticeably, connect the appliance to the charger o.
Using the hand set with the handle
1) Insert the hand set 4 into the hand set recess e as described
in the section on "Assembly/disassembly".
2) Fold out the upper handle 0 by pressing the "upper handle"
release q and at the same time pulling the upper handle 0
upward.
3) Turn on the appliance using the ON/OFF switch 9. The LED
light t on the floor nozzle will illuminate and the rotary brush r
starts turning.
4) Guide the floor nozzle over the area to be vacuumed. Hold
the upper handle 0 so that the floor nozzle moves smoothly
over the floor.
5) Press the on/off switch 9 when you have finished vacuuming.
The rotary brush r stops and the LED light t turns off.

Using the hand set
1) Remove the hand set 4 from the hand set recess e as
described in the section on "Assembly/disassembly".
2) As required, attach the crevice tool u, the brush nozzle z
or the upholstery nozzle i.
3) Press the ON/OFF switch 2 to start vacuuming the desired
areas.
4) When you have finished vacuuming, press the ON/OFF
switch 2 again.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always disconnect the charger ofrom the
power socket and remove the barrel jack p from the charging
socket d on the cradle f before cleaning the cradle f.
Always remove the hand set 4 from the hand
set recess e on the handle before cleaning the hand set 4, the
handle or the rotary brush r.
To achieve the best results, empty the dirt container 8 and clean
the dust filter 6 after every use.
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
materials. They could damage the surfaces of the appliance.
The LED light t is maintenance-free. The LEDs cannot be changed.

Emptying the dirt container
1) To open the dirt container 8, remove the hand set 4 from the
hand set recess e.
2) Press both buttons 5 and, at the same time, pull the dirt
container 8 upward.
You can now lift it off upwards/forwards.
3) Remove the dust filter 6by pulling it out with your fingers.
Rinse the dust filter 6 in clear water and let it air dry. Do
not use hot air to dry the dust filter 6.
4) Then remove the coarse filter 7, also by simply pulling it out.

5) Empty the dirt container 8.
6) Now you can re-insert the coarse filter 7 followed by the dust
filter 6.
7) Replace the dirt container 8 by first inserting the catch into
the notch in the hand set 4and then pushing the front part of
the dirt container 8 firmly downward until the dirt container 8
clicks firmly into place.
Cleaning the appliance
Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, add a
mild detergent to the cloth. Ensure that the appliance is completely
dry before the next use.

Cleaning the rotary brush
The rotary brush r can become covered in residues, such as
hair, after a while. To remove this dirt, you can remove the rotary
brush r (Fig. 4).
1) Turn the floor nozzle upside down.
2) Push the catch on the cover plate to the rear so that you can
remove the cover plate.
3) Lift out the rotary brush r.
4) To replace the rotary brush r, first push the broad end onto
the drive shaft until the rotary brush r hooks into place.
5) Then push the other end into the mount until the rotary brush r
sits straight in the floor nozzle.
6) Reattach the cover plate and fasten it firmly into place.

Storage
■ When you are not using the appliance, place it on the cradle f.
■ You can store the crevice tool u and the brush nozzle z on the
rear side of the cradle f in the holder for the brush nozzle a
and the holder for the crevice tool s.
–First, put the crevice tool uonto the crevice tool holder s
so that the suction opening is facing towards the cradle f.
–Then fit the brush nozzle z onto the brush nozzle holder a
so that it covers the end of the crevice tool u (Fig. 5 and 6).

■ Store the appliance in a dust-free and dry location.

Troubleshooting
The appliance is not working.
■ The battery is not charged.
♦ Connect the appliance to the charger o.
■ The appliance is defective.
♦ Contact the customer service department.
The appliance is running but hardly sucking up any dirt.
■ The battery is not sufficiently charged.
♦ Connect the appliance to the charger o.
■ The dirt container 8 is full.
♦ Empty the dirt container 8.
■ The dust filter 6 is blocked.
♦ Clean the dust filter 6.
The appliance will not charge.
■ The charger o is not correctly connected to the socket/plug.
♦ Check the connections of the charger o.
■ The charger o is defective.
♦ Contact the customer service department.

Disposal
The integrated rechargeable battery in this appliance cannot be
removed for disposal.
Electrical devices may not be thrown away as part of normal
household trash. If you can no longer use your electrical device,
dispose of it in accordance with the legal provisions applicable in
your state. This will ensure that old electrical devices are recycled
and environmental pollution is kept to a minimum. Further informa-
tion about disposal is available on the Internet at www.epa.gov.
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly
materials that can be disposed of at your local
recycling center.

3 year limited warranty
What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
▯ Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
▯ Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow
the safety and maintenance instructions provided in the user

What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
▯ Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts
(such as switches, glass, etc.);
▯ Improper use or transport;
▯ Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
▯ Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire, water, etc.);

Consequential and incidental damages are also not covered under

Antes del primer uso
Este electrodoméstico se entrega con baterías sin carga. Cargue
las baterías durante 6 horas antes del primer uso.
■ Elimine todos los materiales de empaque y calcomanías
protectoras del electrodoméstico, especialmente los adhesi-
vos protectores sobre los contactos en la parte trasera de la
aspiradora de mano 4.
■ Coloque el compartimento f sobre la base de modo que el
compartimento f haga clic en su lugar.
Carga del electrodoméstico
Asegúrese de que el electrodoméstico esté apagado antes de
empezar a cargar las baterías.
■ Para cargar el electrodoméstico, conecte el cargador o a una
toma de corriente e inserte el conector de alimentación para
carga p en el enchufe de carga eléctrica d en el comparti-
mento f. Acomode el cable a lo largo del canal para cable
en el enchufe de carga eléctrica d, de tal manera que el
compartimento f no quede sobre el cable.
■ Coloque el mango con la aspiradora de mano 4 adjunta
sobre el compartimento f. La luz indicadora de carga 3 se
ilumina de color rojo. Cuando el electrodoméstico esté carga-
do por completo, la luz indicadora de carga 3 se enciende
en color verde.

Montaje/Desmontaje
Conexión de la aspiradora de mano al mango/
remoción del mango

■ Para conectar la aspiradora de mano 4 al mango de la aspi-
radora vertical, presione la punta de la aspiradora de mano 4
dentro de la abertura ubicada en la cavidad para aspiradora
de mano e.
■ Después, presione el mango superior 1 de la aspiradora de
mano 4 dentro del mango la aspiradora vertical hasta que la
aspiradora de mano 4 haga clic firmemente en su posición
(Fig. 1).
■ Para retirar la aspiradora de mano 4 del mango de la aspira-
dora vertical, presione el botón de liberación de la aspiradora
de mano "Hand set" w.
■ A continuación, jale la aspiradora de mano 4 hacia arriba y
hacia afuera de la cavidad para aspiradora de mano e(Fig. 2).

Operación
La abertura de succión siempre debe estar abierta y
desbloqueada. Las obstrucciones provocan sobrecalentamiento y
daño al motor.
No aspire una alfombra de pelo alto con la boquilla
para piso. ¡El cepillo giratorio r puede enredarse en la alfombra
y bloquearse!
Asegúrese de que el filtro de polvo 6 y el
filtro grueso 7 estén siempre insertados antes de usar el electro-
doméstico.
En cuanto empiece a disminuir considerablemente la potencia de
succión del electrodoméstico, conéctelo al cargador o.
Utilización de la aspiradora de mano con el mango
1) Inserte la aspiradora de mano 4 dentro de la cavidad para
aspiradora de mano e como se describe en la sección
"Montaje/Desmontaje".
2) Despliegue el mango superior 0 presionando el botón de
liberación del mango superior "Upper handle" q y, al mismo
tiempo, jale el mango superior 0 hacia arriba.
3) Encienda el electrodoméstico con el interruptor de ENCENDI-
DO/APAGADO 9. La luz LED t en la boquilla para piso se
iluminará y el cepillo giratorio r empezará a girar.
4) Dirija la boquilla para piso sobre el área que desea aspirar.
Mantenga el mango superior 0 de tal manera que la boquilla
para piso se deslice suavemente sobre el piso.
5) Cuando haya terminado de aspirar, presione el interruptor de
ENCENDIDO/APAGADO 9. El cepillo giratorio r se detendrá
y la luz LED t se apagará.

Utilización de la aspiradora de mano
1) Retire la aspiradora de mano 4 de la cavidad para aspira-
dora de mano e como se describe en la sección "Montaje/
Desmontaje".
2) Según sea necesario, coloque la herramienta para hendiduras
u, la boquilla con cepillo z o la boquilla para tapicería i.
3) Presione el interruptor de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO 2 y
empiece a aspirar sobre las áreas deseadas.
4) Cuando haya terminado de aspirar, presione nuevamente el
interruptor de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO 2.
Limpieza y mantenimiento
Siempre desconecte el cargador ode
la toma de corriente y retire el conector de alimentación p del
enchufe de carga eléctrica d en el compartimento f antes de
limpiar el compartimento f.
Siempre retire la aspiradora de mano 4 de
la cavidad para la aspiradora de mano e en el mango antes de
limpiar la aspiradora de mano 4, el mango o el cepillo giratorio r.
Para obtener los mejores resultados, vacíe el contenedor de resi-
duos 8 y limpie el filtro de polvo 6 después de cada uso.
No use materiales de limpieza abrasivos o agresivos.
Podrían dañar las superficies del electrodoméstico.
No es necesario dar mantenimiento a la luz LED t. Los LED no
pueden ser sustituidos.

Vaciado del contenedor de residuos
1) Para abrir el contenedor de residuos 8, retire la aspiradora
de mano 4 de la cavidad para aspiradora de mano e.
2) Presione ambos botones 5 y, al mismo tiempo, jale el
contenedor de residuos 8 hacia arriba.
Ahora puede sacarlo hacia arriba y hacia el frente.
3) Retire el filtro de polvo 6jalándolo con sus dedos. Enjuague
el filtro de polvo 6 en agua limpia y déjelo secar con el aire.
No use aire caliente para secar el filtro de polvo 6.
4) Después, retire el filtro grueso 7, basta con jalarlo.

5) Vacíe el contenedor de residuos 8.
6) Ahora puede volver a insertar el filtro grueso 7 y después el
filtro de polvo 6.
7) Para volver a colocar el contenedor de residuos 8, primero
inserte el seguro en la muesca en la aspiradora de mano 4
y luego empuje la parte frontal del contenedor de residuos 8
firmemente hacia abajo hasta que el contenedor de residuos
8 haga un clic con firmeza en su lugar.
Limpieza del electrodoméstico
Limpie el electrodoméstico con una tela humedecida. Para suciedad
difícil, agregue un detergente suave a la tela. Asegúrese de que
el electrodoméstico esté completamente seco antes del siguiente
uso.

Limpieza del cepillo giratorio
El cepillo giratorio r puede llenarse de residuos, como cabello,
después de un tiempo. Para eliminar estos residuos, puede retirar
el cepillo giratorio r (Fig. 4).
1) Ponga boca abajo la boquilla para piso.
2) Empuje hacia atrás el seguro en la tapa para poder retirarla.
3) Extraiga el cepillo giratorio r.
4) Para volver a colocar el cepillo giratorio r, primero empuje el
extremo amplio sobre el eje motor hasta que el cepillo girato-
rio r se enganche en su lugar.
5) A continuación, presione el otro extremo en la montura hasta
que el cepillo giratorio r se asiente en forma recta en la
boquilla para piso.
6) Vuelva a colocar la tapa y sujétela con firmeza en su lugar.

Almacenamiento
■ Cuando no use el electrodoméstico, colóquelo en el comparti-
mento f.
■ Puede almacenar la herramienta para hendiduras u y la bo-
quilla con cepillo z en la parte posterior del compartimento
f en el soporte para boquilla con cepillo a y el soporte para
herramienta para hendiduras s.
–Primero, coloque la herramienta para hendiduras usobre
el soporte para herramienta para hendiduras s de tal
manera que la abertura de succión quede hacia la parte
frontal del compartimento f.
–A continuación, coloque la boquilla con cepillo z sobre
el soporte para boquilla con cepillo a de tal manera que
cubra el extremo de la herramienta para hendiduras u
(Fig. 5 y 6).

El electrodoméstico funciona pero casi no succiona
residuos.

■ El filtro de polvo 6 está bloqueado.

■ El cargador o no está conectado correctamente en el enchufe/

Eliminación
La batería recargable integrada en este electrodoméstico no puede
retirarse para eliminarse.
Los electrodomésticos no deben ser desechados como parte de
la basura doméstica normal. Si ya no puede usar su electrodo-
méstico, elimínelo de conformidad con las disposiciones legales
aplicables en su estado. Esto asegura que los electrodomésticos
usados sean reciclados y la contaminación ambiental se manten-
