HoMedics, Inc., garantiza este producto contra defectos en material

original de compra con las excepciones que se detallan a contin-
uación.

Caution:

• If you have any concerns regarding your health consult your
doctor before using this product.
• Individuals with pacemakers should consult a doctor
before use.
• NEVER leave the appliance unattended, especially if children
are present.
• Never cover the appliance when it is in operation.

• Extensive use could lead to the product’s excessive heating
and shorter life. Should this occur, discontinue use and allow
the unit to cool before operating.
• NEVER use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas

• This product is a non-professional appliance designed to
provide soothing massage to worn muscles. DO NOT use
this product as a substitute for medical attention.
• DO NOT use this product before bed. The massage has a
stimulating effect and can delay sleep.

suffering from any physical ailment that would limit the
user’s capacity to operate the controls.
• This unit should not be used by children or invalids without
adult supervision.
Instructions for Use
To reduce the risk of electrocution, this appliance has a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet.
DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature.
1. Plug into a 120-volt outlet.
2. To start the massage, slide the selector switch up or down for
an inward or outward kneading motion. The center position
is “off”.

3. Neck Massage: Lie on the floor and position the
mechanical kneading thumbs under your neck
(See Figure A). Let the rhythmic action loosen and
soothe tired muscles. For increased comfort, place
the head rest under your head to help support
your head and neck during massage (See Figure
B).
4. Back Massage: Mount the massager to your chair
to relieve tension in your back. Lay the vertical
straps over the top of the chair. Snap and tighten
together the 2 opposing buckles located on the
horizontal straps. Pull each of the hook and loop
straps through the massager’s handles from the
back and fasten. Adjust the height of the
massager by pulling up or down on the vertical
straps (See Figure C). Note: Strapping system fits
most chairs, but may not fit over-stuffed or large
frames.
5. Arm or Foot Massage: Place the massager on the
floor or other hard surface and rest your arm or
foot between the mechanical kneading thumbs
(See Figures D & E). Large, rubberized handles
provide a comfortable grip for use alone or with a
partner (See Figure F).
Auto-Spacing Feature
The spacing between the mechanical kneading
thumbs can be adjusted to fit various body frames
and areas. Make sure the power is turned on and
rotate the dial located on the top of the massager to
the left to narrow the space between the kneading
thumbs and to the right to widen it (See Figure G).

Maintenance
To Store: Place massager in its box or a safe, dry, cool place.
Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects which
might cut or puncture the fabric surface. To avoid breakage,
do not wrap the power cord around the unit. DO NOT hang
the unit by the cord.
To Clean: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning.
Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Never allow
water or any other liquids to come into contact with the unit.
• DO NOT immerse in any liquid to clean.
• NEVER use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline,
kerosene, glass/furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.
• DO NOT attempt to repair this unit. There are no user
serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the
HoMedics Service Center address listed in the warranty
section.

saging “heads”. Only gentle force should be exerted
against the unit in order to eliminate any/all risk of
injury. You may soften massage force by placing a
towel between yourself and the unit. Test unit force
before using on yourself or on a companion.

TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

HoMedics, Inc., guarantees this product free from defects in material
and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of
purchase, except as noted below.
This HoMedics product warranty does not cover damage caused by
misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized
accessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions what-
soever that are beyond the control of HoMedics. This warranty is
effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the USA.
A product that requires modification or adaptation to enable it to
operate in any country other than the country for which it was
designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of
products damaged by these modifications is not covered under
warranty. HoMedics shall not be responsible for any type of inci-
dental, consequential or special damages. All implied warranties,
including but not limited to those implied warranties of fitness and
merchantability, are limited in the total duration of two years from the
original purchase date.
To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, either hand
deliver or mail the unit and your dated sales receipt (as proof of
purchase), postpaid, along with check or money order in the
amount of $5.00 payable to HoMedics, Inc. to cover handling.
Upon receipt, HoMedics will repair or replace, as appropriate, your
product and return it to you, postpaid. Warranty is solely through
HoMedics Service Center. Service of this product by anyone other
than HoMedics Service Center voids warranty.
This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have
additional rights which may vary from state to state. Because of
individual state regulations, some of the above limitations and
exclusions may not apply to you.

Instrucciones de uso
Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, este artefacto tiene un
enchufe polarizado (una paleta es más ancha que la otra). Como
una característica de seguridad, este enchufe encaja en un
tomacorriente polarizado de una sola forma. Si éste no entra
totalmente en el tomacorriente, invierta la posición del enchufe. Si
aún no entra, póngase en contacto con un electricista calificado
para que instale un tomacorriente adecuado. No intente destruir
esta característica de seguridad.
1. Enchúfelo en un tomacorriente de 120 voltios.
2. Para empezar el masaje, deslice el interruptor selector hacia
arriba o hacia abajo, para un movimiento amasador hacia
adentro o hacia afuera. La posición central apaga la unidad.
3. Masaje del cuello: Acuéstese en el pavimento y
coloque los dedos amasadores mecánicos debajo de
su cuello (Vea la Figura A). Deje que la acción rítmica
afloje y suavice los músculos cansados. Para más
comodidad, coloque el soporte de la cabeza debajo
de su cabeza, para ayudar a sostener la cabeza y el
cuello durante el masaje (Vea la Figura B).
4. Masaje de la espalda: Monte el masajeador en su
silla para aliviar la tensión de su espalda. Extienda las
correas verticales sobre la parte superior de la silla.
Cierre y ajuste las 2 hebillas opuestas de las correas
verticales. Hale cada una de las tiras de gancho y aro
a través de los mangos del masajeador desde atrás y
apriételas. Ajuste la altura del masajeador halando
hacia arriba o abajo las correas verticales (Vea la
Figura C). Atención: El sistema de fijación sirve
para la mayoría de las sillas, pero es posible que
no sirva para sillas de gran tamaño o acolchadas.
5. Masaje del brazo o del pie: Coloque el masajeador
en el piso u otra superficie firme y apoye su brazo o
pie entre los dedos amasadores mecánicos (Vea las
Figuras D y E). Las manijas grandes y encauchadas
permiten un agarre fácil, para usarlo solo o con otra
persona (Vea la Figura E).
Función de Auto-Espaciado
La distancia entre los dedos amasadores mecánicos
puede ajustarse para que se acomode a varias
dimensiones y áreas de cuerpo. Asegúrese de que el
aparato esté encendido y gire el disco ubicado en la
parte superior del masajeador hacia la izquierda para
reducir la distancia entre los dedos amasadores, y hacia
la derecha para aumentarla (Vea la Figura G).

ADVERTENCIA
No trabe ni fuerce ninguna parte de su cuerpo (por
ejemplo, manos, cuello, pies, etc.) entre las
"cabezas" de masaje dual de la unidad. Para
eliminar cualquier o todo riesgo de daño físico,
debe aplicarse sólo una presión limitada contra la
unidad. Usted puede suavizar la fuerza del masaje
colocando una toalla entre la unidad y su parte del
cuerpo. Ensaye la fuerza de la unidad antes de
usarla en usted u otra persona.
Mantenimiento
Para guardar: Coloque el masajeador en su caja o en un lugar
seguro, seco y fresco. Evite el contacto con bordes filosos u
objetos punzantes que puedan cortar o perforar la superficie del
material que lo recubre. Para evitar roturas, no envuelva el cable
de corriente alrededor de la unidad. NO cuelgue la unidad del
cable del control.
Para limpiar: Desenchufe la unidad y deje que se enfríe antes
de limpiarla. Limpie únicamente con una esponja suave, apenas
húmeda. NUNCA permita que el agua ni otro líquido entre en
contacto con la unidad.
• NO lo sumerja en ningún líquido para limpiarlo.
• NUNCA utilice limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina,
querosén, limpiador de vidrios o lustramuebles para limpiar.
• NO intente reparar esta unidad. No hay piezas que necesiten
servicio por parte del usuario. Por servicio, envíe la unidad a la
dirección del Centro de Servicio de HoMedics que se detalla
en la sección de garantía.
