• This product is a non-professional appliance designed
to provide soothing massage to worn muscles. DO
NOT use this product as a substitute for medical
attention.
• DO NOT use this product before bed. The massage
has a stimulating effect and can delay sleep.
• NEVER use this product while in bed.
• This product should NEVER be used by any individual
suffering from any physical ailment that would limit the
user’s capacity to operate the controls.
• This unit should not be used by children or invalids
without adult supervision

Instructions for Use
To reduce the risk of electrocution, this appliance has a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a
safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified elec-
trician to install the proper outlet. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
1. Plug into a 120-volt outlet.
2. To start the massage, slide the selector switch up or
down for an inward or outward kneading motion. The
center position is “off”.

Neck Massage: Lie on the floor and position the
mechanical kneading thumbs under your neck
(See Figure A). Let the rhythmic action loosen and
soothe tired muscles. For increased comfort, place the
head rest under your head to help support your head
and neck during massage
(See Figure B).

4. Back Massage: Mount the massager to your chair
to relieve tension in your back. Lay the vertical
straps over the top of the chair. Snap and tighten
together the 2 opposing buckles located on the
horizontal straps. Pull each of the hook and loop
straps through the massager’s handles from the
back and fasten. Adjust the height of the massager
by pulling up or down on the vertical straps
(See Figure C).

5. Arm or Foot Massage: Place the massager on the
floor or other hard surface and rest your arm or foot
between the mechanical kneading thumbs
(See Figures D & E). Large, rubberized handles
provide a comfortable grip for use alone or with a
partner (See Figure F).
Auto-Spacing Feature
The spacing between the mechanical kneading
thumbs can be adjusted to fit various body frames
and areas. Make sure the power is turned on and
rotate the dial located on the top of the massager to
the left to narrow the space between the kneading
thumbs and to the right to widen it
(See Figure G).

Maintenance
To Store: Place massager in its box or a safe, dry, cool
place. Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects
which might cut or puncture the fabric surface. To avoid
breakage, do not wrap the power cord around the unit.
DO NOT hang the unit by the cord.
To Clean: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before
cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge.
NEVER allow water or any other liquids to come into contact
with the unit.
• DO NOT immerse in any liquid to clean.
• NEVER use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline,
kerosene, glass/furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.
• DO NOT attempt to repair this unit. There are no user
serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the
HoMedics Service Center address listed in the warranty
section.

Do not jam or force any part of your body (i.e. hands,
neck, feet, etc..) between the unit’s dual massaging
“heads”. Only gentle force should be exerted
against the unit in order to eliminate any/all risk of
injury. You may soften massage force by placing a
towel between yourself and the unit. Test unit force
before using on yourself or on a companion.

LIMITED TWO YEAR WARRANTY
HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and
workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase, except as noted
below. HoMedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship
under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to
Retailers.
To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, mail the product and your dated sales
receipt (as proof of purchase), postpaid, to the following address:

HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent
consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics
in any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by
misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the
product; improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of elec-
trical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating
part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance; transportation damage;
theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the
product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions what-
soever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which
the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to
operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured,
approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not
covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE
SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART
OF THE COMPANY WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. HOMEDICS
SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY REQUIRE MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
OF ANY PART OR PARTS WHICH ARE FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE WITHIN THE EFFECTIVE
PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. IF REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR
DEFECTIVE MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, HOMEDICS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE

Instrucciones de uso
Para reducir el riesgo de electrocución, este artefacto tiene un
enchufe polarizado (una paleta es más ancha que la otra).
Como una característica de seguridad, este enchufe encaja en un
tomacorriente polarizado de una sola forma. Si el enchufe no
encaja completamente en el tomacorriente, invierta el enchufe.
Si aún así no encaja, póngase en contacto con un electricista
calificado para que instale el tomacorriente adecuado. No intente
destruir esta característica de seguridad.
1. Enchufe en un tomacorriente de 120 voltios.
2. Para iniciar el masaje, deslice el interruptor de selección hacia
arriba o hacia abajo para un movimiento de masaje hacia
dentro o hacia fuera. La posición central es la de apagado.

Masaje del cuello: Recuéstese en el piso y coloque los
dedos/elementos de amasado mecánico debajo de su cuello
(Ver Figura A). Deje que la acción rítmica afloje y calme los
músculos cansados. Para más comodidad, coloque el
descanso para la cabeza debajo de su cabeza, para ayudar a
sostener su cabeza y cuello durante el masaje
(Ver Figura B).

4. Masaje de la espalda: Ajuste el masajeador en su silla
para aliviar la tensión de su espalda. Coloque las tiras
verticales sobre la parte superior de la silla. Calce y ajuste
juntas las 2 hebillas opuestas que se encuentran en las
tiras horizontales Pase cada una de las tiras de enganche
a través de los mangos del masajeador desde la parte
trasera y ajústelas. Ajuste la altura del masajeador tirando
hacia arriba o hacia debajo de las tiras verticales
(Vea la Figura C). ATENCIÓN: El sistema de tiras se
adecua a la mayoría de las sillas, pero es posible que
no calce sobre marcos grandes o muy rellenos.
5. Masaje para brazo o pie: Coloque el masajeador en el
piso u otra superficie rígida y descanse su brazo o pie entre
los pulgares masajeadores mecánicos (Ver Figura D y E).
Los mangos grandes y forrados con goma proporcionan
un asidero cómodo para usar sólo o con un compañero
(Vea la Figura F).
Característica de espaciado automático
El espaciado entre los pulgares mecánicos masajeadores se
puede ajustar para adecuarse a diversas complexiones
y áreas. Asegúrese de que la corriente esté encendida y gire
el disco ubicado en la parte superior del masajeador hacia la
izquierda para disminuir el espacio entre los pulgares
masajeadores y hacia la derecha para ampliarlo
(Vea la Figura G).

Mantenimiento
Para guardar: Coloque el masajeador en su caja o en un lugar
seguro, seco y fresco. Evite el contacto con bordes filosos u objetos
punzantes que puedan cortar o perforar la superficie del material que
lo recubre. Para evitar roturas, NO envuelva el cable de corriente
alrededor de la unidad. No cuelgue la unidad del cable.
Para limpiar: Desenchufe la unidad y deje que se enfríe antes de
limpiarla. Limpie únicamente con una esponja suave, apenas
humedecida. NUNCA permita que el agua ni otro líquido entre en
contacto con la unidad.
• NO sumerja en ningún líquido para limpiar.
• NO use NUNCA limpiadores abrasivos, cepillos, gasolina,
queroseno, productos para brillar vidrio o muebles o
adelgazadores de pinturas, para hacer la limpieza.
• NO trate de reparar esta unidad. No hay piezas que necesiten
servicio. Por servicio, envíe la unidad a la dirección del Centro de
Servicio de HoMedics que se detalla en la sección de garantía.

ADVERTENCIA
No apriete ni fuerce ninguna parte de su cuerpo (por
ejemplo, manos, cuello, pies, etc.) entre las “cabezas”
masajeadoras dobles de la unidad. Sólo se debe ejercer
una fuerza suave contra la unidad para eliminar
cualesquiera y todos los riesgos de lesiones.
Puede suavizar la fuerza del masaje colocando una toalla
entre usted y la unidad. Pruebe la fuerza de la unidad
antes de usarla en sí mismo o en otro.
