This User manual will guide you through the functions and usage of your SWAGTRON®. Before operating this
vehicle, read all the instructions for safe assembly, charging and operation.
Please inspect the SWAGTRON® unit upon unpacking for any signs of physical damage or defects.
Ensure that the SWAGTRON® unit is fully charged before calibrating and using.

1.1 ABOUT THE SWAGTRON®
The SWAGTRON® is a self-balancing, personal transporter that uses gyroscopic technology to revolutionize the
way you travel. Steering and stopping are controlled by Dynamic Equilibrium all based on the shifting of your

gel layer on the PCB mainboard maintains consistent temperatures and avoids short circuiting.
Topping it all off is a Smart Battery Management System (BMS) that constantly monitors the following areas for
your utmost safety:

2.3 LEARNING MODE / STANDARD MODE / ADVANCED MODE
The SWAGTRON® T3 includes three riding modes in order to provide all kinds of riders with the best experience
possible.
Directly from your smart board, easily switch between Learning Mode and Standard
Mode. After pressing the power button to power on the board, quickly press the
changes modes.
Modes can also be changed via the SWAGTRON® app which is available in both the
App Store and Google Play Store. The Advanced Mode can only be activated through
the SWAGTRON® app.

2.4 MOVEMENT INDICATORS
The SWAGTRON® includes new movement indicators to let others know when you’re on the move. Always keep a
Movement Indicator Color Action
Red
BRAKING – Red lights indicate slowing/stopping, unexpected pauses,
or sudden movements.
Lights illuminate on the rear of the board when coming to a stop from
forward motion. Lights illuminate on the front of the board when
coming to a stop from backward motion.
Blue ACCELERATION – Blue lights on the front of the board indicate forward
motion.
Green TURNING – Flashing green lights on the front of the board indicate
turning direction.
NOTE: Indicators cannot be turned off.

2.5 USING Bluetooth®
1. Power on the SWAGTRON® to automatically turn on Bluetooth®. The SWAGTRON® will make a sound to
indicate that Bluetooth® is on and awaiting possible connection.
2. Using your mobile device, turn on Bluetooth®, make it “discoverable” if needed, then search. The device
names “Swagtron” & “Swagtron music” should appear.
3. Select “Swagtron music” to begin connecting if you would like to play music on your T3. Connect to
“Swagtron” through your SWAGTRON app with default password (000000) to switch modes and monitor
your SWAGTRON T3 battery status. The SWAGTRON® will make a sound to indicate that the devices
have been successfully connected and/or paired.
4. After successfully connecting and/or pairing your SWAGTRON® and your device/app, you may begin
playing music or using SWAGTRON® app at any time.
5. To end the connection between the devices, turn off Bluetooth® on your mobile device. The
SWAGTRON® will make a sound to indicate that the devices have been successfully disconnected.
Be able to connect to APP via Bluetooth V4.0 BLE to check the battery, speed, mileage and battery details.

+Powering on the SWAGTRON® will automatically enable Bluetooth® i.e. Bluetooth® will become enabled
and stay enabled as long as the SWAGTRON® is powered on.
+Some mobile devices immediately become “discoverable” once Bluetooth® is activated. Please check the
instructions of your Bluetooth®-enabled device for any trouble with this feature.
+As with most Bluetooth® devices, it is recommended to keep the connected devices within a reasonable
distance from one another. The connection may be terminated or fail to work properly if the connected
devices are too far apart.

III – HOW TO RIDE
Get ready to ride with swag! The below instructions
will ensure that you have a comfortable and safe riding
experience with your SWAGTRON® unit. Please read it
carefully as this information is very important.
3.1 OPERATING STEPS
Before you begin operation, charge your SWAGTRON®
unit with the included power adapter. Charge time can
take up to 2-3 hours. For detailed information on how
to charge your SWAGTRON®, see Section 5.1
1. Press the POWER BUTTON to turn on your
SWAGTRON® unit.
2. Step on one PEDAL to trigger the foot-switch.
The system will enter self-balancing mode.
Then step on the second pedal with your other
foot quickly.
3. Stand upright but relaxed. Do not make any
sudden or jerking movements.
The SWAGTRON® has 4 sensors below the pedals.

When the rider steps on a pedal, the SWAGTRON® will adjust itself to balance automatically.
If the SWAGTRON® does not enter self-balancing mode
when triggering the foot-switch, the warning LED will
light up. DO NOT operate the SWAGTRON® under these
conditions. Please power the unit off and back on again. If
this fails to work, please re-calibrate the SWAGTRON® by
following the calibration instructions on section 3.3.
If you are on a slope, move the SWAGTRON® to
light, contact SWAGTRON® technical support
immediately.
NOTE:
When riding the SWAGTRON®, you must make sure both feet
are touching the pedals for proper detection. Do not put
other objects on the pedals, as it could cause the system to
lock or self-drive.
NOTE:
+Do not tilt forward or backwards beyond 10 degrees, as the unit may malfunction.
+
+Avoid uneven or rocky surfaces as the SWAGTRON® may not function properly.

+Avoid hills or slopes of more than 30 degrees incline.
+When the operator exceeds the maximum speed, the SWAGTRON® will sound a warning alarm.
3.2 DIAGRAM OF OPERATION
The SWAGTRON® self-balances and moves because of
Dynamic Equilibrium. This is generated by the shifting
of your body weight and uses an internal gyroscope
with acceleration sensors to move based on your
center of gravity. When you lean forward, it will sense
your actions and accelerate. When you need to turn,
slow down and gently shift the weight on your left or
right foot to turn towards the opposite direction.
MOVE FORWARD
Shift your weight forward to move directly ahead.
STOP
Align your body to an upright, straight position.
TURNING LEFT
Shift your weight slightly on the RIGHT PEDAL to turn
left.

STEPPING OFF THE SWAGTRON®
Make sure the SWAGTRON® is completely stopped, then step back with dominant foot, then quickly step off with
the other foot. Please be careful!
CAUTION
The SWAGTRON® has an inertial dynamic stabilization system that keeps you upright. However,
it will stop detecting you if you lean too far left or right or if you take a foot off of the board.
Slow down before turning or you will fall off and be injured.
NOTE:
+Avoid turning suddenly when riding fast, as this may result in accidents.
+Avoid riding sideways or turning on slopes. The self-balancing sensors may malfunction and may require
recalibration.
+Do not step on the center pivot point of the SWAGTRON®.

3.3 CALIBRATION
If your SWAGTRON® seems to pull to the left or right during
your ride, you may need to recalibrate its sensors. The process

2. Rotate the SWAGTRON® until both wheel bases are level to the ground. We recommend using a level for
best results.
3. While the SWAGTRON® remains level, hold the POWER BUTTON down to turn on the unit and keep
holding the button down.
4. Wait an additional 3 seconds and you will hear a single beep. Release the POWER BUTTON and the front

IV – SAFE RIDING TECHNIQUES

Although the SWAGTRON® is designed with gyroscopic balancing technology in order to maintain maximum
stability, it is still possible to “override” the SWAGTRON® and tip over when riding too fast for the conditions.
Following these techniques can help ensure that you have a safe, fun riding experience on the SWAGTRON®.
CAUTION
+SWAGTRON® highly recommends wearing appropriate clothing and safety gear including knee pads,
elbow pads, wrist braces, and an ASTM F1492 approved helmet for ALL riders of ALL ages at ALL times.
Remember safety before Swag!
+When going through doorways, remember that you are four inches (10 cm) taller on the SWAGTRON®.
+Avoid wearing anything that can drape over or get caught into/under the wheels.
+
+Make sure your feet are always on the pedals. Taking your feet off the SWAGTRON® while riding is
incredibly dangerous.
+Ride on even pavement or smooth roads. Relax your legs while riding, knees slightly bent. This helps
maintain balance when you encounter uneven grounds.
+Ensure the vehicle speed is safe to yourself and others, and be ready to stop at any time.
+When riding near others, keep a safe distance to avoid collisions.

+Be alert to your surroundings in order to ensure a safe ride. Your eyes are your best tool to safely avoid
obstacles and slippery surfaces.

Never ride your SWAGTRON

after consumption of alcohol, drugs, or while intoxicated. You can be
arrested for drunk driving.

5.1 CHARGING THE SWAGTRON®
For the safety of yourself and others and to extend the battery’s life, please be sure to observe the following
instructions.
1. Plug the charger into a grounded wall outlet (100V-240V; 50-60Hz).
2. Verify that the green light is on, then plug the other end of the charging unit into the SWAGTRON®.

charging is complete. If charging while the smartboard is off, no lights will turn on.
4. Total charging time is approximately 2-3 hours.
Use only the charger provided with your SWAGTRON® unit. If you have lost or misplaced your charger, contact
customer support to obtain a replacement.
During operation, if the system encounters an error or is being operated incorrectly, the SWAGTRON® will alert
the operator through an alarm and indicator LEDs.
NOTE:
+When the battery is fully charged, please STOP CHARGING and unplug the unit.
+Please keep your charging environment clean and dry.
+If the charging port is damp or has any liquid on it, DO NOT charge your SWAGTRON®.

5.3 RANGE PER CHARGE
The average distance for which you can ride your SWAGTRON® on a full charge is between 7 to 12 miles.
However, many factors need to be considered when determining the actual range per charge.

Speed and Riding Style Keep a moderate, consistent speed. Frequent start, stops,
acceleration, and deceleration will reduce riding range.
Topography Rough terrains or slopes can decrease your range due to motor use.
Ride on smooth or even roads for maximum performance.

Temperature Avoid too hot or too cold environments, as the motor will decrease
power to protect itself.
If the battery voltage is too low or over-worked during operation, the SWAGTRON® will enter into power off
mode after 15 seconds to protect the internal components from damage.

Proper cleaning of your SWAGTRON® can promote a longer lifespan and a smooth riding experience.

6.2 STORAGE
Below are some tips to consider when storing your SWAGTRON® unit.
+Before storing your SWAGTRON®, fully charge the battery to avoid over discharging due to non-use.
+Discharge and recharge the battery every three months.
+Store your SWAGTRON® indoors at a dry and suitable temperature at 14°F ~ 122°F (-10°C to 50°C). DO
NOT store it in an unheated garage or shed.
6.3 TRANSPORTATION
The SWAGTRON® has a built-in carrying strap located at the bottom of the unit for easy transportation.
CAUTION
Lithium-ion batteries are considered hazardous materials, therefore transportation is governed
by federal, state and local laws.
International law prohibits the shipping of bare Lithium-ion batteries. If you are shipping your SWAGTRON®, you
must ship it with the battery installed.

1 Year Limited Hardware Warranty
SWAGTRON® offers a ONE YEAR limited warranty covering the hardware of SWAGTRON® Hands Free Smart Board (“Product”),
other rights which vary from state to state.
SWAGTRON® warrants the Product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one (1) year, as
sold to the original purchaser, from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser. If a hardware defect arises
and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, SWAGTRON® will: (1)
repair the hardware defect by using new or refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability; or (2)
exchange the product with a product that is new or refurbished, that is substantially equivalent to the original product. This
warranty is for replacement for like-items only and does not cover items out of production if the company no longer stocks
them. This warranty is not assignable or transferable. The original purchaser may call the SWAGTRON® toll-free number at
1-844-299-0625 for service request.
Upon SWAGTRON®’s replacement or repair of a Product under warranty, the original end-user purchaser will have the
remaining warranty under the original warranty period (without any postponement during repair or replacement). When a
product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes SWAGTRON®’s
property. Important: Do not disassemble the Product. Disassembling the Product will void this warranty. Only SWAGTRON® or
a party expressly authorized by SWAGTRON® should perform service on this Product.
This warranty only covers technical hardware defectiveness during the warranty period and under normal use conditions.
SWAGTRON® does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of this Product. This Warranty does not apply to damages
or circumstances, such as, but not limited to:
(a) Damage that is caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting in from defects in material or workmanship.
These conditions include, but are not limited to, road hazard, accidents, and improper operation or maintenance;
(c) Obsolescence;
(d) Damage (accidental or other) to the Product that is cosmetic, meaning damage that does not impact the operation and
scratches, dents, cracks, or gradual deterioration;

(h) Fraud, theft, misplacement, unexplained disappearance, or willful acts.

In no event shall SWAGTRON® be liable for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages or liabilities (incluing
but not limited to incidental or consequential damages for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of product, or any other
consequential or incidental loss) in connection with the purchase, use, or operation of the product. SWAGTRON® is not liable
for property damage, personal injury, or death.

2.5 UTILISATION DE Bluetooth®

Allumez le SWAGTRON® pour activer automatiquement la fonction Bluetooth®. Le SWAGTRON® émettra un signal
sonore pour indiquer que la fonction Bluetooth® est activée et en attente d’une connexion possible.

À l’aide de votre appareil mobile, activez Bluetooth®, rendez-le « détectable », puis recherchez. Le nom de l’appareil
« Swagtron » et « Swagtron music» devrait apparaître.

Sélectionnez « Swagtron music » pour démarrer la connexion si vous souhaitez jouer de la musique sur votre T3.
Connectez-vous à « Swagtron » à travers votre application SWAGTRON® avec mot de passe par défaut (000000) pour
changer de mode et de surveiller l’état de votre batterie T3 SWAGTRON®. Le SWAGTRON® émettra un signal sonore
pour indiquer que les appareils ont été correctement connectés ou jumelés.

3.1 ÉTAPES DE FONCTIONNEMENT
Avant de commencer à opérer, chargez votre unité SWAGTRON®
avec l’adaptateur de courant inclus. La durée de charge peut

Lorsque vous conduisez le SWAGTRON®, vous devez vous assurez-
vous que vos deux pieds soient en contact avec les pédales pour

Le SWAGTRON® s’autobalance et se déplace grâce à
l’équilibre dynamique. Ceci est généré par le transfert
de votre poids corporel et utilise un gyroscope interne
avec les capteurs d’accélération pour se déplacer selon
votre centre de gravité. Lorsque vous vous penchez vers
l’avant, il détectera vos actions et accélérera. Lorsque vous
devez tourner, ralentissez et faites doucement déplacer le
poids sur votre pied droit ou gauche pour tourner dans la

Assurez-vous que le SWAGTRON® est complètement arrêté, puis déposez votre pied dominant vers l’arrière, puis débarquez

Prudence
Le SWAGTRON® dispose d’un système de stabilisation dynamique d’inertie qui vous aide à rester droit.
Toutefois, il s’arrêtera de détecter si vous penchez trop vers la gauche ou vers la droite ou si vous retirez un
pied de la planche. Ralentisse avant de tourner sinon vous allez tomber et vous blesser.
REMARQUE :

Évitez de tourner brusquement lorsque vous conduisez rapidement, car cela peut provoquer des accidents.
+
Évitez de rouler latéralement ou de tourner dans des pentes. Les capteurs d’autoéquilibrage peuvent mal fonctionner
et peuvent nécessiter un ajustement de réglage.

N’appuyez pas sur le point central du pivot du SWAGTRON®.

Si le T3 fait un capotage ou tourne de plus de 180 degrés, le moteur et la capacité de conduire seront désactivés. Pour
restaurer les fonctions normales, mettez l’unité hors tension, puis remettez l’unité sous tension. Après cela, continuez
de rouler normalement.
3.3 CALIBRATION
Si votre SWAGTRON® semble tirer vers la gauche ou vers la droite pendant votre parcours, vous avez peut-être besoin d’un
ajustement de réglage des capteurs. Le processus nécessite une surface plane et stable et en option, un niveau (disponible

5.3 DISTANCE PAR CHARGE
La distance moyenne sur laquelle vous pouvez conduire votre SWAGTRON® avec une pleine charge est comprise entre 11,2 et
19,3 km.
Toutefois, plusieurs facteurs doivent être pris en considération au moment de déterminer la distance réelle par charge.

Vitesse et style de conduite Garder une vitesse modérée et constante. Les départs et les arrêts fréquents,
les accélérations et les décélérations réduiront la distance par charge.
Topographie Les terrains accidentés ou les pentes peuvent réduire votre distance à cause de

Voici quelques conseils utiles à prendre en considération lorsque vous rangez votre unité SWAGTRON®.

2.3 MODO DE APRENDIZAJE Y MODO ESTÁNDAR

unidad SWAGTRON®. Lea cuidadosamente lo siguiente ya que esta
información es muy importante.
3.1 PASOS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
Antes de iniciar la operación, cargue su unidad SWAGTRON® con

3.2 DIAGRAMA DE OPERACIÓN
El SWAGTRON® tiene un equilibrio autónomo y se desplaza
debido a un Equilibrio Dinámico. Esto se genera por el
movimiento de su peso corporal y utiliza un giroscopio
interno con sensores de aceleración para moverse sobre
la base de su centro de gravedad. Cuando se incline hacia
adelante, sentirá sus acciones y acelerará. Cuando necesite
girar, baje la velocidad y suavemente cambie el peso sobre
su pie izquierdo o derecho para girar hacia la dirección
contraria.

El SWAGTRON® tiene un sistema de estabilización dinámica por inercia que lo mantiene en posición vertical. Sin embargo,
dejará de detectarlo si se inclina demasiado hacia la izquierda o derecha o si quita un pie de la patineta. Baje la velocidad
antes de girar o caerá y se hará daño.
NOTA:

Evite girar repentinamente al avanzar rápido, ya que esto puede resultar en un accidente.

No conduzca hacia los lados ni vire sobre una pendiente. Puede que los sensores de equilibrio autónomo no funcionen
bien y requieran de una calibración.

Si el T3 se voltea o gira más de 180 grados, el motor y la capacidad de montar se desactivará. Para restaurar las
funciones normales, apague la unidad y vuelva a encender de nuevo la unidad. Después de esto, siga conduciendo con
normalidad.
3.3 CALIBRACIÓN
Si al parecer su SWAGTRON® lo empuja hacia la izquierda o derecha, puede que necesite recalibrar sus sensores. Este proceso

estabilidad, existe la posibilidad de “exceder el uso” de su SWAGTRON® y tropezarse si pasea demasiado rápido para las

5.1 CARGA DE EL SWAGTRON®
Por su propia seguridad y la de otros, y para extender la vida de la batería asegúrese de observar las siguientes instrucciones.

5.3 DISTANCIA POR CARGA
La distancia promedio que puede recorrer con su SWAGTRON® con una carga completa es entre 7 a 12 millas.
Sin embargo, se deben considerar muchos factores al determinar la distancia real por carga.

El intervalo de temperatura dentro de cual se puede cargar la batería es 32°F ~ 104°F (0°C a 40°C). Cargar la batería a
temperaturas fuera de este intervalo puede causar que la batería se caliente o se rompa. Además, cargar la batería fuera de
este intervalo de temperatura puede alterar el rendimiento de la batería o reducir la expectativa de vida de la batería.
5.4.3 Al descargar la batería
que la batería se caliente, se rompa o se encienda y cause un daño grave.
El intervalo de temperatura dentro de cual se puede descargar la batería es 5°F ~ 122°F (-15°C a 50°C). El

6.1 LIMPIEZA

6.3 TRANSPORTACIÓN
El SWAGTRON® tiene una correa incorporada por debajo de la unidad para una fácil transportación.
Las baterías de ion de litio se consideran como un material peligroso, por lo tanto su transportación está
regulada por las leyes federales, estatales y locales.
Las leyes internacionales prohíben enviar baterías de ion de litio descubiertas. Si envía su SWAGTRON®, debe enviarla con la
batería instalada.

Luego del reemplazo o reparación de un Producto de SWAGTRON® bajo garantía, el comprador original tendrá la garantía
que quede bajo el período de garantía original (sin ninguna extensión durante la reparación o el reemplazo). Cuando se
intercambia un producto o una parte, cualquier ítem de reemplazo se convierte en su propiedad y el ítem reemplazado
se convierte en propiedad de SWAGTRON®. Importante: No desarme el Producto. Si desarma el Producto se anulará esta
garantía. Únicamente SWAGTRON® o un tercero expresamente autorizado por SWAGTRON® debe realizar la reparación de este
Producto.
Esta garantía cubre únicamente defectos de las partes de metal durante el período de garantía y bajo condiciones de uso
normal. SWAGTRON® no garantiza una operación ininterrumpida o libre de errores de este Producto. Esta Garantía no se
aplica a daños o circunstancias, como por ejemplo, pero sin limitarse ha:
