INSTRUCTIONS
This curling iron is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only. This
unit is designed to be operated at 120V AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fi t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fi t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fi t, contact a qualifi ed electrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
NOTE: Do not use this styling appliance on hair
extensions.
INSTANT HEAT TECHNOLOGY
The iron’s unique 30 high heat temperature
settings and Instant Heat technology provide
styling versatility for all hair types. If you have
fi ne hair, a low temperature will provide the best
results. If you have thick, wavy or hard-to-curl
hair, keep the heat setting on high. You can vary
the iron’s temperature according to your
particular need!

STYLING WITH THE NEW
ROSE GOLD TITANIUM EASY-GLIDE BARREL
The barrel of your new curling iron has a Rose
Gold Titanium easy-glide surface, the newest
technology. This means it’s not only simpler to
clean off styling product residue, etc., after
each use, but you’ll fi nd that hair glides easily
over the surface of the barrel as you’re curling.
The Rose Gold Titanium surface also helps
smooth down fl yaways for polished results.
It evenly distributes heat so that the style you
create has a salon-perfect, silky smooth,
shining fi nish. Hair also slips right through the
barrel after it’s curled.
The new Rose Gold Titanium technology is a
pleasure to work with and makes styling your
hair easier and the results more professional.
Never leave your curling iron on and
unattended. However, should you fail to turn
the iron off, it will shut itself off automatically
within 60 minutes.
GETTING STARTED
Plug the iron into an electrical outlet. Turn on unit.
The indicator light setting will become illuminated.
Allow unit to heat up for 30 seconds.
WARNING: The curling iron’s Rose Gold
Titanium barrel will get very hot within a few
seconds and should not be placed in contact
with the skin after the curling iron has been
turned on.

TO CURL HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry
before using the curling iron. Section hair
evenly, and comb each section before
winding. For best results, use a light styling
product before blow-drying hair.
1. Start curling with a hair section that is 1
inch wide and no more than ½ inch thick.
Open the spoon and place curling iron
midway up the hair section, then spread hair
evenly between spoon and barrel. Gently
slide the curling iron down to hair ends. To
avoid crimped ends, make sure they are
securely wound under the spoon in the
direction of the desired curl. Remember,
always place the spoon above the hair strand
when making a curl you want rolled under;
place the spoon under the hair strand when
creating a flip style.
2. Wind the hair up as far as you want it
curled, being careful not to let the iron touch
the scalp. Hold 8–12 seconds, depending
on the length and texture of your hair. For
tighter, bouncier curls, roll less hair. For
looser, free-flowing curls, roll more hair.
Repeat process on additional sections of hair
until you achieve the style you desire.
3. To remove the curling iron, unwind the hair
and press the handle and allow curl to slide
out. To set curl, do not comb or brush curls
until cool.

FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Conecte el cable a una toma de corriente.
Encienda el aparato; el indicador luminoso se
encenderá. Permita que la unidad se caliente por
30 segundos.

CÓMO RIZAR EL CABELLO
El cabello debe estar limpio y seco. Divida el
cabello en secciones uniformes y peine cada
sección. Para obtener resultados óptimos,
aplique una loción fijadora ligera en el
cabello antes de secarlo.
1. Divida el cabello en secciones de 1
pulgada (2.5 cm) de ancho por ½ pulgada
(1.5 cm) o menos de grueso. Abra la tenaza,
presionando la manija. Coloque el aparato
a medio camino en una sección de cabello
y distribuya el cabello uniformemente
entre el tubo y la pinza. Deslice el aparato
suavemente hacia las puntas. Para evitar
tener las puntas encrespadas, asegúrese de
que están firmemente posicionadas entre
el tubo y la pinza, en la dirección deseada.
Consejo: para rizar hacia dentro, coloque la
sección de cabello por encima de la pinza.
Para rizar hacia fuera, coloque la sección de
cabello debajo de la pinza.
2. Enrolle el cabello hacia el cuero cabelludo,
sin permitir que el aparato haga contacto con
este. Mantenga la tenaza en esta posición
por 8 a 12 segundos, dependiendo de la
textura y de la longitud del cabello. Para
obtener rizos apretados y elásticos, divida
el cabello en secciones más delgadas. Para
obtener rizos sueltos y naturales, enrolle
secciones más gruesas. Repita el proceso en
cada sección de cabello, hasta conseguir el

3. Para sacar la tenaza, desenrolle el cabello
y oprima la manija para soltarlo. Permita que
el cabello se enfríe antes de peinarlo para
“fijar” los rizos.

USER MAINTENANCE
Your curling iron is virtually maintenance free. No
lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and openings
clear of dirt and dust. If cleaning becomes
necessary, disconnect the unit from the power
source, allow to cool and wipe exterior with a
cloth. If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug
the unit, allow it to cool, and return it for repair to
an authorized service representative only. No
repairs should be attempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled, twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap
the cord tightly around the appliance. Damage
will occur at the high flex point of entry into the
appliance, causing it to rupture and short
circuit. Inspect the cord frequently for damage.
Stop use immediately if damage is visible or if
unit stops or operates intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is easy to store.
Allow appliance to cool, then simply store out of
reach of children in a safe, dry location. Do not
jerk or strain cord at plug connections. Do not
wrap the line cord around the appliance. Allow
the cord to hang or lie loose and straight at the
point of entry into the appliance.

of purchase if the appliance is defective in
workmanship or materials.
