fabricant ou de son service après-vente. Toutefois, ce

produit est garanti par votre distributeur. Pour plus de

• La prise mobile de connecteur doit être retirée avant de

nettoyer l'appareil et que le socle de connecteur doit être

séché avant d'utiliser à nouveau l'appareil.

3) UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL

a) Avant la première utilisation

Avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois, nettoyez la plancha à l’eau tiède, avec du liquide

vaisselle et une éponge souple. N’utilisez pas de détergents abrasifs ni d’éponges métalliques.

Après le nettoyage, séchez la plaque et les boitiers. (Pour plus d’informations, se référer à la

partie « entretien et maintenance de votre appareil »).

b) Utilisation de l’appareil

Utilisez uniquement des ustensiles en bois ou en plastique résistant à la chaleur.

Ne coupez pas les aliments sur le plateau et n’utilisez pas d’objets pointus pour

manipuler les aliments.

• Branchez le boitier thermostatique dans le boitier électrique.

• Placez le thermostat sur la position « 0 ».

• Branchez l’appareil sur la prise murale.

• Sélectionnez le repère de cuisson souhaité (en l’alignant sur le voyant de fonctionnement).

• La température est atteinte lorsque le voyant s’éteint.

• Après utilisation, positionnez le thermostat sur « 0 », débranchez l’appareil et attendez qu’il

refroidisse pour le manipuler.

Nota : Pour faciliter l’écoulement des jus de cuisson vers le bac récupérateur de graisse, déployez

la béquille d’inclinaison située sous le boitier électrique.

Les 5 positions du thermostat correspondent aux températures suivantes :

4) ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE DE VOTRE APPAREIL

a) Entretien de votre appareil

Avant de nettoyer l’appareil, débranchez-le cordon de la prise murale d’alimentation puis,

débranchez le boitier thermostatique de l’appareil.

• Nettoyage de la plaque

L’appareil n’est pas lavable au lave-vaisselle.

Nettoyez la plaque en utilisant une éponge souple et non abrasive avec du produit vaisselle ou

une crème nettoyante.

Séchez avec du papier absorbant, veillez à bien assécher le boitier électrique.

Note : N’utilisez pas d’éponges métalliques ni de détergents abrasifs car ils peuvent endommager

la surface anti adhésive.

Astuces : Afin de faciliter le nettoyage, vous pouvez déposer un peu de gros sel de cuisine sur la

surface anti adhésive et frotter légèrement avec une éponge humide pour retirer les graisses

cuites. Rincez à l’eau claire, essuyez.

• Nettoyage du bac récupérateur de jus

Nettoyez-le à l’eau chaude en utilisant un produit vaisselle. Vous pouvez également le passer au

lave-vaisselle.

• Nettoyage du boitier thermostatique et du cordon d’alimentation

Ne les plongez pas dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.

Vous pouvez les nettoyer en passant une éponge ou un chiffon légèrement humide dessus.

General information

This machine is only intended for domestic use for cooking

and reheating food.

Only use this machine for the purposes described in the

manual. It may only be used in a covered, enclosed and

heated environment such as a kitchen or any other room

meeting the same specifications. The manufacturer

denies all responsibility in the event of inappropriate use.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

with the appliance.

• Children must not play with the machine.

• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged

less than 8 years.

Safety Instructions for Installing the Machine

Install or place this plancha as the installation instructions

recommend.

• This machine must not be placed on furniture.

• Do not obstruct your machine's air inlets.

• If this machine is covered or in contact with a flammable

material including curtains, drapes and similar items, there is

Safety Instructions for Using the Machine

The machine and its accessible parts may become hot

during use.

If the surface is cracked turn off the machine to prevent

Safety Instructions for Cleaning the Machine

Turn off the plancha and unplug the power cable before

cleaning.

Lack of maintenance for the plancha may lead to

deterioration of the surface and thus damage to the

machine.

• Cleaning and maintenance of the machine should not be

carried out by children unless they are older than 8 and are

supervised.

• This machine must be cleaned regularly and all food residues

removed.

• Do not use an abrasive sponge or metal scraper to clean the

plancha because they might scratch the surface.

• For your safety a steam cleaner must not be used.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special

cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its

service agent.

However, this product is guaranteed by your distributor. For

more details please refer to the guarantee conditions

provided by the distributor. The connector must be removed

before the appliance is cleaned and that the appliance inlet

must be dried before the appliance is used again.

Non-compliant use

The manufacturer denies all responsibility in the event of non-

compliant use. This machine is exclusively intended for the use

described in the manual.

3) USE OF THE MACHINE

a) Before Using for the First Time

Before using the machine for the first time wash the plancha in warm water with washing-up

liquid and a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive detergents or metal scourers. After cleaning, dry

the plate and the units. (For further information refer to the "Looking After and Cleaning Your

Machine" section).

b) Use of the machine

Only use wooden or plastic heat-resistant utensils.

Do not cut food on the plate and do not use pointed objects to handle the food.

• Connect the thermostat unit to the electric unit.

• Place the thermostat on Position "0".

• Unplug the machine from the wall socket.

• Select the desired cooking marker (by aligning it with the operating light).

• When the light goes out the set temperature has been reached.

• After use place the thermostat on "0", unplug the machine and wait until it is cold before

handling it.

N.B. To make it easier for the cooking juices to run into the fat collection tray, use the tilt stand

located under the electric unit.

The 5 thermostat positions correspond to the following temperatures:

4) LOOKING AFTER AND CLEANING YOUR MACHINE

a) Looking after your Machine

Before cleaning the machine unplug the lead from the wall socket and then disconnect the

machine's thermostat unit.

• Cleaning the plate

The machine cannot be washed in the dishwasher.

Clean the plate using a soft, non-abrasive sponge with washing-up liquid or cleaning cream.

Dry with kitchen towel and make sure the electric unit is dried properly.

Note: Do not use metal scourers or abrasive detergents because they may damage the non-stick

surface.

Tips: To facilitate cleaning you can place a little rock salt on the non-stick surface and rub lightly

with a damp sponge to remove burnt-on fat. Rinse with clean water and wipe dry.

• Cleaning the fat collection tray

Clean it with warm water and washing-up liquid. It can also be washed in the dishwasher.

• Cleaning the thermostat unit and the power lead.

Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.

You can clean them by wiping with a slightly damp sponge or cloth.

3) UTILIZACIÓN DEL APARATO

a) Antes de usarlo por primera vez

Antes de usar el aparato por primera vez limpie la plancha con agua tibia, detergente lavaplatos

y un esponja suave. No utilice detergentes abrasivos ni estropajos metálicos. Tras la limpieza,

seque la placa y las cajas. (Para obtener más información sobre la limpieza, consulte la parte

«Conservación y mantenimiento de su aparato»).

b) Utilización del aparato

Utilice únicamente utensilios de madera o de plástico resistente al calor.

No corte los alimentos sobre la bandeja ni utilice objetos afilados para manipular los

alimentos.

• Enchufe la caja termostática a la caja eléctrica.

• Sitúe el termostato en la posición «0».

• Enchufe el aparato a la toma eléctrica de pared.

• Seleccione el nivel de cocción que desee (alineando el piloto de funcionamiento).

• Cuando el aparato alcance la temperatura se apagará el piloto.

• Cuando termine de utilizarlo ponga el termostato a «0», desenchufe el aparato y espere a

que se enfríe para manipularlo.

Nota: Para facilitar que los jugos de la cocción caigan a la bandeja recogegrasa, abra la patilla de

inclinación situada bajo la caja eléctrica.

Las 5 posiciones del termostato corresponden a las temperaturas siguientes:

4) CONSERVACIÓN Y MANTENIMIENTO DE SU APARATO

a) Conservación de su aparato

Antes de limpiar el aparato desenchufe el cable de la toma de pared y desenchufe la caja

termostática del aparato.

● Limpieza de la placa

No se puede lavar el aparato en el lavavajillas.

Limpie la placa con un estropajo suave y no abrasivo y detergente lavaplatos o una crema

limpiadora.

Seque con papel de cocina. Seque bien la caja eléctrica.

Nota: No utilice estropajos metálicos ni detergentes abrasivos, ya que pueden dañar la superficie

antiadherente.

Trucos: Para facilitar la limpieza puede depositar un poco de sal de cocina gruesa sobre la

superficie antiadherente y frotar ligeramente con un estropajo humedecido para retirar la grasa

quemada. Aclare con agua limpia y seque.

● Limpieza de la bandeja recogegrasa

Límpiela con agua caliente y detergente lavaplatos. También puede lavarlo en el lavavajillas.

● Limpieza de la caja termostática y del cable de alimentación

No los sumerja en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.

Puede limpiarlos pasándoles un estropajo o un palo humedecido por encima.

1) TER ATTENTIE VAN DE GEBRUIKER

Deze gebruikshandleiding bij het apparaat bewaren.

Mocht u het apparaat verkopen of afstaan aan iemand

anders, moet u ervoor zorgen dat de gebruikshandleiding

aan de nieuwe eigenaar wordt bezorgd. Wij verzoeken u

kennis te nemen van de handleiding voordat u het

apparaat gaat installeren en gebruiken. Deze handleiding

met de erin staande tips zijn opgesteld voor uw veiligheid

en die van anderen.

a) Veiligheidsvoorschriften

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES AANDACHTIG LEZEN

EN BEWAREN VOOR LATER

Algemene informatie

Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoudelijk

gebruik voor het bakken en verwarmen van

voedingsmiddelen. Gebruik dit apparaat uitsluitend voor

de in de handleiding beschreven doeleinden. Het mag

enkel gebruikt worden in een afgedekte, gesloten en

verwarmde omgeving zoals een keuken of elke andere

ruimte die aan dezelfde specificaties beantwoordt. De

fabrikant wijst iedere aansprakelijkheid van de hand in

geval van ongepast gebruik.

• Kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar moeten op een afstand gehouden

worden behalve wanneer ze voortdurend onder toezicht

staan.

• Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.

• Houd dit apparaat en het snoer ervan buiten het bereik van

kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar.

Veiligheidsadvies om het apparaat te installeren

Installeer of plaats deze plancha volgens de aanbevolen

installatie-instructies.

• Dit apparaat mag niet in een meubel geplaatst worden.

• Verstop de luchttoevoer van uw apparaat niet.

• Als dit apparaat bedekt wordt of in contact komt met een

brandbaar materiaal met inbegrip van gordijnen, draperieën

en dergelijke bestaat er brandgevaar tijdens de werking.

• Hou het voedingssnoer uit de buurt van het warm oppervlak.

• Dit apparaat mag niet worden bediend door middel van een

externe timer of een afzonderlijk aangekocht

bedieningssysteem.

Veiligheidsadvies om het apparaat te gebruiken

Het apparaat en zijn toegankelijke onderdelen kunnen

warm worden tijdens het gebruik. Jonge kinderen moeten

op een afstand gehouden worden.

• Dit apparaat mag gebruikt worden door kinderen ouder dan

8 jaar en personen met een beperkt lichamelijk, zintuiglijk of

geestelijk vermogen, op voorwaarde dat zij instructies

betreffende het gebruik van dit apparaat hebben ontvangen

en zich bewust zijn van de gevaren die het gebruik ervan kan

inhouden.

• De toegankelijke onderdelen van dit apparaat kunnen warm

worden tijdens de werking.

• Metalen voorwerpen zoals messen, vorken, lepels en deksels

mogen niet op de plancha gelegd worden want zij kunnen

warm worden.

Als het oppervlak gescheurd is, schakelt u het apparaat

uit om een mogelijke elektrische schok te voorkomen.

Veiligheidsadvies om het apparaat schoon te maken

De plancha uitschakelen en de stekker uit het stopcontact

verwijderen voor het schoonmaken.

Een gebrek aan onderhoud van de plancha kan tot schade

aan het oppervlak leiden en ook het apparaat

beschadigen.

• Het apparaat mag niet worden schoongemaakt of

onderhouden door kinderen behalve wanneer ze ouder zijn

dan 8 jaar en onder toezicht staan.

• Dit apparaat moet regelmatig schoongemaakt worden en alle

voedingsresten moeten verwijderd worden.

• Gebruik geen schuurspons of metalen schraper om de

plancha schoon te maken want dit kan krassen maken op het

oppervlak.

• Voor uw veiligheid mag de plaat niet met stoom worden

gereinigd.

• Het voedingssnoer mag niet vervangen worden. Als de kabel

beschadigd is, dient u het apparaat te verwijderen. Dit

apparaat geniet garantie van uw verdeler. Voor meer details

verwijzen we naar de garantievoorwaarden die u door uw

verdeler werden bezorgd.

Onzorgvuldig gebruik

De fabrikant wijst iedere aansprakelijkheid van de hand in geval

van onzorgvuldig gebruik. Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd

voor het in de handleiding beschreven gebruik.

Houd rekening met de algemene aanbevelingen en

veiligheidsinstructies vermeld in dit hoofdstuk.

• Deze plancha is niet bestemd voor buitengebruik.

• Deze plancha is uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoudelijk

gebruik in privéwoningen. Het gebruik van dit product in

gemeenschappelijke of professionele lokalen, zoals

koffieruimtes op kantoren of werkplaatsen, campings, hotels

enz. beantwoordt niet aan een zorgvuldig gebruik zoals

bepaald door de fabrikant.

c) Milieubescherming

afval weggegooid worden. Lever het in in een containerpark of bij uw verkoper. Dat

3) GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT

a) Voor het eerste gebruik

Vooraleer u het apparaat voor de eerste keer gebruikt, maakt u de plancha schoon met lauw

water, vloeibaar vaatwasmiddel en een soepele spons. Gebruik geen schurende

reinigingsmiddelen of metalen sponsen. Na het schoonmaken, droogt u de plaat en de dozen af.

(Voor meer informatie, zie hoofdstuk "onderhoud van uw apparaat“).

b) Gebruik van het apparaat

Gebruik alleen houten of plastic hittebestendig kookgerei.

Snijd de voedingsmiddelen niet op de plaat en gebruik geen scherpe voorwerpen om

de voedingsmiddelen te hanteren

• Sluit de thermostatische doos aan op de elektrische doos.

• Zet de thermostaat op stand "0".

• Stop de stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact.

• Selecteer de gewenste bakhoogte (door het gelijk te brengen met het werkingslampje).

• De temperatuur is bereikt wanneer het controlelampje uit is.

• Na gebruik zet u de thermostaat op "0", ontkoppelt u het apparaat en wacht u tot het

afgekoeld is vooraleer het te verplaatsen.

Opmerking: Om de bakjus te laten wegstromen naar de lekbak ontplooit u de uitklapstandaard

onder de elektrische doos

De 5 standen van de thermostaat komen overeen met de volgende temperaturen:

4) ONDERHOUD VAN UW APPARAAT

a) Onderhoud van uw apparaat

Maak de plaat schoon met een soepele en niet schurende spons met vaatwasmiddel of een

reinigende crème.

Droog af met tissuepapier, zorg ervoor dat de elektrische doos goed droog is.

Opgelet: Gebruik geen metalen sponzen of schurende schoonmaakmiddelen want ze kunnen de

antikleeflaag beschadigen.

Tip: Om het schoonmaken te vergemakkelijken, kan u een beetje grof keukenzout aanbrengen

op de antikleeflaag en lichtjes schrobben met een vochtige spons om het aangebakken vet te

verwijderen. Spoel af met helder water en droog af.

• Schoonmaken van de lekbak

Maak de bak schoon met warm water en vaatwasmiddel. U kunt de bak eveneens in de

vaatwasmachine wassen.

• Schoonmaken van de thermostatische doos en het voedingssnoer

Dompel ze niet onder in water of enige andere vloeistof.

U kunt ze schoonmaken met behulp van een spons en een enigszins vochtige spons.
