Introduction
Your Universal TV Remote controls most all TV brands
presently available.
Battery Saver:
If the remote accidentally gets stuck down the back of
the couch with a button pressed it will stop transmitting
after about 30 seconds so as not to drain the battery.
Code Saver:
When changing batteries have the new batteries handy
before removing the old ones. If the remote has no bat-
teries installed for more than about 10 minutes you will
lose the installed code.
Setup Instructions
1. Install 2 AAA alkaline batteries in the battery com-
partment on the back of the remote.
2. Look up the 4-digit code for your brand of TV from
the Code Table and install it into the remote.
Direct Library Code Entry
To enter Codes directly from Library Code Table:
1. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until
the red indicator stays on, then release the CODE
SEARCH button.
2. Enter the 4 digit code from the code table. Note: after
a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an
invalid code, the red indicator ashes.
3. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the
device responds, no further programming is required.
Note: If some buttons do not operate your equipment,
try one of the other codes for your brand.
4. Write your code below in case you forget it:

Code Search
If your TV does not respond after you have tried all the
codes for your brand, or if your brand is not listed, try
searching for your code by following the steps below.
1. Manually turn on the TV to be controlled.
2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until
the red indicator stays on, then release the CODE
SEARCH button.
3. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300
times) until the device to be controlled changes channel.
The red indicator blinks off with each button press. If
you accidentally overshoot the code required, press
the CHANNEL DOWN button to backtrack through
the library until the device changes channel. Pressing
CHANNEL UP changes direction to forward again.
4. Press and release MUTE to install the code. Note: Code
Search starts from the currently stored 4 digit number.
Code Identication
The Code Identication Feature allows you to identify
the 4 digit library code stored under your device key. For
example, if you want to nd out what 4 digit code is stored
under your TV device key, follow theve steps below:
1. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the red
indicator stays on, then release the CODE SEARCH
button. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
2. Press and release the CODE SEARCH button again.
The indicator light blinks off.
3. To nd the rst digit for the code stored, press each
numeric key from 0-9 in turn. When the indicator
light blinks off the number you pressed is the rst
digit for the code you are searching for.
4. To nd the second digit, repeat step 3, this time when
the indicator light blinks off this is the second digit.
5. Repeat step 3 to nd the third and fourth digits.
6. Code Identication is now complete and remote
operation returns to normal.

Sleep Function
The SLEEP button operates the Sleep function of your
device providing it supports the Sleep function. Alter-
natively, you can enable the remote to turn off your TV
after a period of 1 to 99 minutes as shown below. This
feature works even if your TV does not have its own
Sleep function.
1. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the
red indicator stays on. Release the CODE SEARCH
button.
2. Press and release the SLEEP button (Note any previ-
ously set Sleep timer is canceled at this point and the
remote returns to normal operation).
3. Press and release the numeric buttons (01-99) for the
time required. The red indicator blinks off to indicate
button press acceptance and remains off after the
second button press.
4. The TV Sleep Timer is now set.
5. Leave the Remote pointing towards the TV with
an unobstructed path.
To cancel the Sleep Timer, press and release the
POWER button or repeat Steps 1 and 2 above.

Troubleshooting
Remote does not operate your TV.
• Program the remote with a new code.
• Install new batteries. (You might have to reprogram
your remote after installing new batteries.)
• Remote may not be compatible with your TV.
Remote does not operate some features of your TV.
• Program remote with a new code.
• Remote may not be able to operate all features of your
TV or button names might be different than your TV’s
original remote.
Red Indicator blinks after you program a TV code.
• Remote did not accept the code.
• Try to program the code again or try a different code.

Introducción
Su control remoto universal para TV maneja la mayoría de
marcas de TV disponibles en la actualidad.
Ahorro de batería:
Si accidentalmente el control remoto queda pillado en la parte
posterior del sofá con un botón oprimido, esta función detendrá
la transmisión luego de aproximadamente 30 segundos para
evitar que las baterías se descarguen.
Almacenamiento de códigos:
Antes de cambiar las baterías usadas, asegúrese de tener a mano
las baterías nuevas. Si el control remoto permanece sin baterías
por un período mayor de 10 minutos, se perderá el código
instalado.
Instrucciones de conguración
1. Instale 2 baterías alcalinas tipo AAA en el compartimiento de
las baterías ubicado en la parte posterior del control remoto.
2. Busque el código de 4 dígitos para la marca de su TV en la
Tabla de códigos e instálelo en el control remoto.
Entrada directa de Códigos de biblioteca
Para ingresar los códigos directamente de la Tabla de códigos
de biblioteca:
1. Mantenga oprimido el botón CODE SEARCH (Búsqueda de
códigos) hasta que el indicador rojo permanezca encendido, y
luego suelte el botón CODE SEARCH.
2. Ingrese el código de 4 dígitos de la tabla de códigos. Aviso:
Luego de ingresar un código válido, el indicador rojo se
apaga. Luego de ingresar un código inválido, el indicador
rojo parpadea.
3. Con el dispositivo encendido, oprima CHAN+ (Canal
arriba). Si el dispositivo responde, no es necesario continuar
con la programación de la unidad. Aviso: Si su equipo no
responde al comando de algunos botones, intente otro código
para su marca.
4. Anote el código abajo en caso que lo olvide:

Búsqueda de códigos
Si el TV no responde luego de haber probado todos los códigos
para su marca, o si su marca no aparece en la lista, intente
buscar el código siguiendo los pasos a continuación.
1. Encienda manualmente el TV que desea manejar.
2. Mantenga oprimido el botón CODE SEARCH hasta que el
indicador rojo permanezca encendido, y luego suelte el botón
CODE SEARCH.
3. Oprima el botón CHAN+ repetidamente (hasta 300 veces)
hasta que el dispositivo que desea manejar cambie de canal.
El indicador rojo parpadea cada vez que se oprime el botón.
Si accidentalmente pasa el código requerido, oprima el botón
CHAN- (Canal abajo) para retornar a través de la biblioteca
hasta que el dispositivo cambie de canal. Oprimir CHAN+
cambia nuevamente en dirección hacia arriba.
4. Oprima y suelte el botón M (Mute [Silencio]) para instalar
el código.
Aviso: La Búsqueda de códigos comienza a partir del número
de cuatro dígitos actualmente guardado.
Identicación de códigos
La función de Identicación de códigos le permite identicar
el código de biblioteca de 4 dígitos guardado en el botón de
dispositivo. Por ejemplo, si desea encontrar el código de 4 dígitos
guardado en el botón de dispositivo del TV, observe los cinco
pasos a continuación:
1. Mantenga oprimido el botón CODE SEARCH hasta que el
indicador rojo permanezca encendido, y luego suelte el botón
CODE SEARCH. El indicador rojo parpadea, y luego
permanece encendido.
2. Oprima y suelte nuevamente el botón CODE SEARCH. La luz
indicadora parpadea.
3. Para encontrar el primer dígito del código guardado, oprima
cada botón numérico del 0 al 9 en secuencia. Cuando la luz in-
dicadora parpadea, entonces el número que oprimió es el primer
dígito para el código que está buscando.
4. Para encontrar el segundo dígito, repita el paso 3. Esta vez
cuando la luz indicadora parpadea signica que se ha encontrado
el segundo dígito.

5. Repita el paso 3 para encontrar el tercer y cuarto dígito.
6. La Identicación de códigos ha nalizado y el control remoto
regresará al modo de operación normal.
Función de apagado automático
El botón SLEEP (Dormitar) maneja la función de Apagado au-
tomático del dispositivo siempre y cuando el dispositivo cuente
con esta función. O bien, puede habilitar el control remoto para
que apague el TV luego de un periodo de 1 a 99 minutos según
se indica abajo. Esta función se puede utilizar incluso si el TV
no incluye la función de Apagado automático.
1. Mantenga oprimido el botón CODE SEARCH hasta que el
indicador rojo permanezca encendido. Suelte el botón
CODE SEARCH.
2. Oprima y suelte el botón SLEEP (Observe que cualquier
Reloj de apagado automático previamente congurado se
cancelará en este momento y el control remoto regresará al
modo de operación normal).
3. Oprima y suelte los botones numéricos (01-99) para ingresar
la hora deseada. El indicador rojo parpadeará para indicar
que se ha aceptado la opresión del botón y permanece
apagado luego de que se oprima el segundo botón.
4. El Reloj de apagado automático del TV se encuentra ahora
congurado.
5. Deje el control remoto orientado hacia el TV sin que
haya obstrucción alguna entre ambos.
Para cancelar el Reloj de apagado automático, oprima y suelte
el botón POWER o repita los Pasos 1 y 2 anteriores.
Resolución de problemas
El control remoto no maneja el TV.
• Programe el control remoto con un código nuevo.
• Instale baterías nuevas. (Quizás deba volver a programar el
control remoto luego de instalar baterías nuevas.)
• Puede que el control remoto no sea compatible con el TV.
El control remoto no maneja algunas funciones del TV.
• Programe el control remoto con un código nuevo.
• Quizás el control remoto no puede manejar todas las funciones
del TV o los nombres de los botones son diferentes de los del
control remoto original del TV.

El indicador rojo parpadea luego de programar un
código de TV.
• El control remoto no acepta el código.
• Intente programar el código nuevamente o intente un código
diferente.
