Incorrect use of the Power Magic Ultra Battery can lead to poor performance and may cause overheating, ignition, explosion,
etc. To use the product correctly please observe the following directions:
yFamiliarize yourself with the contents of the user manual before using the product.
yOnly use original BlackVue cables provided by the manufacturer. For replacements contact customer support or your
nearest distributor.
yOnly use the product to power a dashcam.
yDo not expose the product to direct sunlight or heat.
yDo not expose to high temperatures.
yDo not use a cigarette lighter multi-socket splitter (adapter) with the product.
yDo not put the product in a microwave oven or place it in a high-pressure environment.
yDo not repair or modify the product yourself.
yDo not throw the battery or subject it to any physical shock.
yDo not disassemble, compress or puncture the product.
yDo not use the product in an electrostatic environment as it can aect the operation of the battery protection circuitry.

Disposal of your battery pack
1. All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of separately from the municipal waste stream via designated
collection facilities appointed by the government or the local authorities. Contact local authorities to learn about disposal
and recycling options available in your area.
2. Do not incinerate or expose to re. Exposure to excess heat may result in re or an explosion.

-High Temperature: Shuts down the battery's charging power if the internal temperature reaches 80°C (176°F) or above.
-Low Temperature: Shuts down the battery's charging power if the internal temperature reaches below 0°C (32°F).
y1 USB port (5 V) allows you to simultaneously charge another device (smartphone, mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, etc.) while
powering the dashcam.

Installation guide
Set the power switch to the OFF position before installation.
Caution
Make sure to use the genuine power cables included in the package. Otherwise, it may result in product failure,
overheating, ignition, etc.
1. For a plug-in installation using a cigarette lighter plug power cable:
a. Plug the
cigarette lighter plug power cable
into the Ultra Battery’s
DC in
port. Plug the other end of the power cable
into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.

b. Referring to your vehicle Owner’s Manual, identify a
Switched
(accessory power) fuse of 10A or less in your interior
fuse panel. Typical examples are the cigarette lighter and car stereo fuse slots.
Caution
If you connect the Ultra Battery to a
Constant Power
(BATT) fuse it may result in depletion of your vehicle’s
battery.
c. Remove the identied
Switched
fuse and match its type with one of the 3 fuse taps.
d. Insert the
ACC
wire into the connector end of the fuse tap. Use a crimping tool or pliers to crimp the connector onto
the wire.

e. Insert the fuse you removed from the fuse panel into the slot closest to the blades on the fuse tap.
Note
If the original fuse is a low-prole mini type, use the new 10A mini type fuse instead (included).
f. Insert a new 20A fuse into the slot furthest away from the fuse tap blades.

Caution
Refer to the diagram and insert the fuse tap in the correct orientation. In the correct orientation the new fuse (f.) gets
power directly from the fuse slot without putting an additional load on the original fuse (e.). If you insert the fuse tap
in the reversed orientation the additional load on the original fuse may cause it to blow.
h. Connect the ground wire (ring) to a ground point, such as a bolt, that is
directly on a bare metal part of the vehicle's frame. Secure the ground
wire to the bare metal frame (for example by securing it under the bolt).

2. Plug the ‘Output cable’ into the port labeled

3. Plug your dashcam's power plug into the cigarette lighter socket or attach it to the hardwiring power cable on the Ultra
Battery's 'Output cable.'
Note
To ensure good electrical contact you can use electrical tape to tape the plug and socket together.
4. Set the power switch to the ON position.
5. Use a pry tool to lift the edges of the windshield trim/molding and tuck in the power cord. Use the supplied Velcro strips
to x the Ultra Battery in place
Caution
Do not expose the product to direct sunlight and/or heat.

Checking the battery status and changing settings
1. Turn on the Ultra Battery.
2. Go to your smartphone’s
Settings
and turn on
Bluetooth

3. Search for the BlackVue app in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install it on your smartphone. If you are not
a BlackVue dashcam user, download BlackVue Battery app and skip to .

a. Open the BlackVue app and tap BlackVue Battery.
b. Select your Ultra Battery from the list. If your Ultra Battery is not shown in 15~20 seconds, Rescan button will appear. Tap it
to refresh the list.

yUnder low temperature environment, the eciency of Ultra battery's cell may decrease, however, this condition
is temporary. Once the battery’s temperature returns to its normal operating range, its eciency will return to
normal as well.

제품 설치 방법
설치를 시작하기 전에 전원 스위치를 OFF로 설정합니다.
주의
본 제품 패키지에 동봉된 정품 전원 케이블을 사용하시기 바랍니다. 그렇지 않을 경우, 제품 파손이나 발열, 발화 등의 문제
가 발생할 수 있습니다.
1. 시가잭 전원 케이블을 이용한 간편 설치 방법:
a. 시가잭 전원 케이블을 배터리팩의 “DC in”포트에 연결하십시오. 전원 케이블의 다른 쪽 끝(시가잭 케이블)을 차량 시가
소켓에 연결 하십시오.

c. ACC 단자의 퓨즈를 제거하고, 퓨즈 형상과 일치하는 퓨즈 젠더를 확인 하십시오.
d. 퓨즈 젠더 끝 부분(파랑색) 구멍에 전원케이블의 ACC 선을 넣고, 빠지지 않게 압착하십시오.

하지 않고 퓨즈 슬롯에서 직접 전원을 공급 받습니다. 퓨즈 슬롯 삽입 시 입력/출력 방향이 올바르지 않을 경우, 부하가 걸릴
수 있으며 퓨즈가 끊어질 수 있습니다.
h. 차체의 금속 부분에 고정된 볼트를 찾아 충전 케이블의 접지선(GND)을 단단히 연결하여 고정하십시오.

4. 전원 스위치를 ON으로 설정 하십시오.
5. 배선 정리 도구를 이용해 앞유리 트림/몰딩의 가장자리를 들어 올리고 전원케이블을 정리하시기 바랍니다. 제공된 벨크로 테이
프를 사용하여 배터리팩이 움직이지 않도록 고정하십시오.
주의
제품을 직사광선 또는 열에 노출시키지 마십시오.

배터리 상태 확인 및 설정 변경하기
1. 배터리팩의 전원을 켜십시오.
2. 스마트폰 설정으로 이동하여 블루투스를 켜십시오.

fusible (f.) recibe alimentación directamente desde la ranura del fusible sin ofrecer una carga adicional en el fusible
original (e.). Si inserta el terminar portafusibles en la dirección contraria se originará una carga adicional sobre el
fusible original que ocasionará que se funda.

yFonctions de coupure en fonction de la température :
-Température élevée: coupe la charge de la batterie si la température interne atteint 80°C ou plus.
-Basse température: coupe la charge de la batterie si la température interne chute en dessous de 0°C.
y1 port USB (5 V) vous permet de charger simultanément un autre appareil (smartphone, borne Wi-Fi mobile, etc.) lors de la
mise sous tension de la dashcam.
Guide d’installation
Réglez l’interrupteur d’alimentation sur la position OFF avant l’installation.
Mise en garde
Veillez à utiliser les câbles d’alimentation authentiques inclus dans l’emballage. Autrement, cela pourrait entraîner
une défaillance du produit, une surchaue, un incendie, etc.
1. Pour les installations temporaires utilisant un câble d’alimentation à che allume-cigare :
a. Branchez le

et de l’autoradio de votre voiture.
Mise en garde
Si vous connectez la batterie Ultra Battery à un fusible
alimenté constamment
(permanent), vous risquez de
vider la batterie de votre véhicule.
c. Retirez le fusible
permutant
et trouvez l’un des trois raccords à fusible dont le type correspond.
d. Insérez le l

dans le connecteur du raccord à fusible. Utilisez un outil de sertissage ou une pince pour sertir le
connecteur sur le l.

e. Insérez le fusible que vous avez retiré de la boîte à fusibles dans l’emplacement le plus proche des lames sur le raccord
à fusible.
Remarque
Si le fusible d'origine est de type mini à prol surbaissé, utiliser le nouveau fusible de type mini de 10 A à la place
(fourni).
f. Insérez le nouveau fusible de 20 A dans l'emplacement le plus éloigné des lames de la dérivation pour fusible.

g. Insérez le raccord à fusible dans l’emplacement pour fusible
permutant
vide dans la boîte à fusibles.
Mise en garde
Reportez-vous au schéma et insérer la dérivation pour fusible en l’orientant correctement. Quand le nouveau fusible
(f.) est correctement orienté; il est alimenté directement à partir de l'emplacement de fusible sans ajouter de charge
supplémentaire sur le fusible d'origine (e.). Si vous insérez la dérivation pour fusible en l’orientant à l’envers, la charge
supplémentaire sur le fusible d'origine peut entraîner son exploision.
h. Connectez le l de terre (anneau) à un point de masse, tel qu’un boulon,
qui se trouve directement sur une partie de métal nu du châssis du
véhicule. Fixez le l de terre au châssis de métal nu (par exemple en le
xant sous le boulon).
2. Branchez le « câble de sortie » dans le port indiqué

3. Branchez la che d’alimentation de votre dashcam dans la prise allume-cigare ou raccordez-la au câble d’alimentation
permanente sur le « câble de sortie » de l’Ultra Battery.
Remarque
Pour assurer un bon contact électrique, vous pouvez utiliser du ruban isolant pour scotcher ensemble la che et la
prise.

4. Réglez l’interrupteur d’alimentation sur la position ON.
5. Servez-vous de l’outil de levier pour soulever la garniture du pare-brise et insérez-y le cordon d’alimentation. Utilisez les
bandes velcro fournies pour xer la batterie Ultra Battery en place

Vérication de l’état de la batterie et modication des paramètres
1. Allumez la batterie Ultra Battery.
2. Ouvrez le menu
Paramètres
de votre smartphone et activez le
Bluetooth
.
3. Recherchez l’application application BlackVue dans le Play Store de Google ou l’App Store d’Apple et installez-la sur votre
smartphone. Si vous n’êtes pas un utilisateur de dashcam BlackVue, téléchargez l’application BlackVue et passez à
l’étape .
Connexion de la batterie Ultra à l’application BlackVue (utilisateur de dashcam BlackVue uniquement)
a. Ouvrez l’application BlackVue et appuyez sur Batterie BlackVue.
b. Sélectionnez votre batterie Ultra Battery dans la liste. Si votre batterie Ultra Battery ne s’achage pas dans 15 à 20 secondes,
le bouton Rechercher à nouveau apparaîtra. Appuyez dessus pour actualiser la liste.

Mise en garde
yDans un environnement à basse température, le rendement de la cellule de la batterie Ultra peut diminuer,
cependant, cette condition est temporaire. Une fois que la température de la batterie revient à sa plage de
fonctionnement normale, son rendement revient également à la normale.
