1. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Al usar este reproductor deberá seguir ciertas precauciones para evitar descarga eléctrica o accidentes
a personas, entre ellas, las siguientes:
1. Lea y entienda todas las instrucciones
2. Siga todas las precauciones e instrucciones marcadas en este manual
3. No ubique la unidad en las siguientes condiciones
a. Superficies inestables o bajo objetos pesados
b. Expuesta a polvo, humedad, luz directa del sol, altas temperaturas o alta vibración
c. Cerca de agua, calefactores o elementos generadores de ruido
4. Use un paño húmedo para limpiar, nunca use líquidos limpiadores o aerosoles.
5. Verifique que todas las conexiones hayan sido hechas correctamente antes de conectar a la
fuente de poder
6. No desarme ni intente reparar usted mismo, refiera toda reparación o servicio a personal
calificad. De lo contrario estará expuesto a voltajes peligrosos entre otros.
7. Con el fin de evitar dañar el amplificador, reduzca el nivel de volumen al mínimo antes de
encender la unidad.
8. Desconecte la unidad cuando no este en uso o en presencia de tormentas eléctricas
9. No toque el adaptador con las manos mojadas
10. Evite escuchar a altos niveles de volumen cuando use audífonos para no dañar la audición.
11. Cerciórese de limpiar los discos ya que el polvo puede dañar la lente
12. Instale en un lugar seguro
13. Evite la exposición de la unidad y el adaptador a lluvia, goteos, salpicaduras, y cercanía de
recipientes llenos de liquido.

• Sin importar la solución del mecanismo, algunos discos CD-R/MP3 no podrán ser reproducidos
• El consumo de energía será superior cuando la función de protección contra golpes esta activa,
por lo tanto el tiempo de duración de las pilas será menor.

5. OPERACIONES Y FUNCIONES
1. Encendido - Reproducción - Pausa (PLAY)
1. Presione este botón para reproducir cuando esté conectado
2. Durante la reproducción presiónelo para hacer una pausa, y repita para reanudar
3. El botón incluye la función de recarga de batería (ver sección de recarga de batería)
NOTA: Si la pantalla LCD muestra el Icono de baterías sin intermitencia significa que están
descargadas.
2. Borrado – Detención – Apagado (STOP)
1. Durante la reproducción presione este botón para detenerse
2. Presione nuevamente para apagar.
3-4. Saltar adelante o atrás (Función de salto) (FB/FF)
Avance o Reverso Rápido (Función de exploración función)
1. Durante la reproducción presione estos botones para ir al inicio de la pista siguiente o anterior.
2. Estando detenido presione estos botones para divisar las pistas, luego de 2 segundos la
reproducción comenzará automáticamente
3. Durante la reproducción presione estos botones y la pantalla mostrara “FORWARD X 1” o
“BACKWARD X 1”. Presione nuevamente para Xl, X2, X3, X4 ajustando la velocidad de avance o
retroceso. Presione PLAY para regresar a velocidad normal
5. MODE
Use para seleccionar los diferentes modos de reproducción en CD, MP3 y VCD.”
1. Presione la primera vez para REPEAT 1: La pista actual se repetirá continuamente
2. Presione por segunda vez para REPEAT ALL: El disco completo se repetirá continuamente
3. Presione la tercera vez para RANDOM: las pistas serán reproducidas al azar.
4. Presione la quinta vez para regresar a la reproducción normal.
6. Edición / Regreso a Menú en VCD (PROG/PBC)
1. Programe el CD y MP3
a) Puede programar la unidad para cuando reproducir y detener. Presione para mostrar
“00-P00” en la pantalla LCD e ingrese el numero de pista que desea editar.
b) FF y FB para seleccionar la pista. Presione FF para incrementar una pista y FB para

reducir en igual cantidad.
c) Presione nuevamente para confirmar y la pantalla LCD mostrara el total de pistas
programadas
d) Repita los pasos anteriores hasta un máximo de 20 pistas
e) Presione el botón PLAY para reproducir.
f) Presione el botón para detener la reproducción de las pistas programadas
g) Presione el botón STOP para detener la edición durante la programación
2. Durante la reproducción de VCD presione este botón para activar o desactivar la función PBC
7. Ecualizador Preestablecido /Canal R-L-Estéreo (EQ/L-R)
1. Durante la reproducción presione para alternar entre: Classic ! Rock ! Jazz ! Pop !
Standard en secuencia.
2. Sostenga la primera vez para seleccionar el canal izquierdo. La pantalla mostrara “MONO L”
3. Sostenga la segunda vez para seleccionar el canal derecho. La pantalla mostrara “MONO R”
4. Sostenga la tercera vez para seleccionar el canal estéreo. La pantalla mostrara “STEREO”
8 Protección Electrónica contra Golpes / Selección de pista para MP3 / Sistema
dual de salida de video PAL-NTSC (P/N) (ESP/DIR/P-N)
El sistema de protección contra golpes le permite a la unidad almacenar información en memoria para
cuando se encuentra sometido a vibración y no se pueda leer del disco, evitando así que la
reproducción se interrumpa. CD tiene 35-40 segundos de protección mientras que el MP3 tiene 75-100
segundos.
1. Durante la reproducción de CD, este botón se usa para activar o desactivar la función.
2. Durante la reproducción de MP3 la función se activa automáticamente, el botón sirve para
seleccionar la pista.
3. Durante la reproducción de VCD este botón se usa para escoger el sistema de video PAL o
NTSC
4. En modo MP3 el botón incrementa 10 pistas cada vez que es presionado
Notas:
• Si cambia el estado de la función de protección contragolpes durante la reproducción de CD,
ésta se detendrá por alrededor de 1 a 2 segundos
• Durante la reproducción de CD con la función de protección activa, el CD se moverá mas rápido,
incrementando así el ruido producido.
9. Bloqueo de controles (HOLD)
1. Deslice el botón HOLD hacia la derecha y activar la función, previniendo lo siguiente
a. Encendido o apagado de la unidad accidental.
b. Interrupción de la reproducción en la mitad de una selección
2. Use durante la reproducción para evitar la operación de todos los controles
3. El control remoto no es afectado por esta función
4. Para desactivar deslice el botón hacia la izquierda

7. FUENTE DE PODER
Corriente AC
1. Inserte el enchufe del adaptador 4.5V DC en el conector de la unidad correspondiente; conecte el
adaptador al tomacorriente de pared
2. Verifique el conector del cable AV amarillo esté conectado a la entrada de video del TV
Notas durante la operación con adaptador
• La configuración del voltaje del adaptador varia de acuerdo al área, verifique que éste y la
unidad sean correspondientes
• Retire las baterías no recargables antes de conectar el adaptador
• Solo use el adaptador provisto con la unidad, no utilice otros.
• Cada vez que alterne la fuente de poder entre adaptador y baterías la reproducción se detendrá
y deberá presionar PLAY para reiniciar.
• Nunca toque el adaptador con las manos húmedas
• Apague la unidad antes de desconectar, no intente desarmar el adaptador.
• Desconecte cuando no esté en uso.
Corriente DC
1. Voltee la unidad
2. Luego abra la tapa del compartimiento según se indica en la ilustración de la unidad
3. Inserte dos baterías alcalinas “AA” haciendo corresponder la polaridad indicada en el
compartimiento y cierre.
Procedimiento de recarga de la batería
Sin disco
1. Voltee la unidad
2. Luego abra la tapa del compartimiento según se indica en la
ilustración de la unidad
3. Inserte dos baterías recargables “AA” (1.2V Ni-cd 1000mAh)
haciendo corresponder la polaridad indicada en el
compartimiento y cierre.
4. Presione el botón PLAY y la unidad mostrara READ
5. Presione nuevamente para alistar la unidad para la recarga, la pantalla mostrara C ON
El tiempo de recarga preestablecido (00:00) será mostrado. Presione el botón PLAY nuevamente
para cambiar el tiempo de recarga a 12:00, y el indicador estará intermitente. Si desea ajustar el
tiempo de recarga, presione los botones FF y FB. El tiempo de recarga pude ser entre 1 y 12
horas.
6. Presione PLAY para iniciar la recarga y el indicador led y en LCD aparecerán. Indicando que la
operación ha comenzado
7. Presione STOP para cancelar y regresar al punto de inicio.
Durante la reproducción
1. Durante la reproducción presione el botón PLAY, el indicador “C ON” aparecerá y en la parte
izquierda de la pantalla estará el icono de la batería. Indicando que puede insertar las baterías
para iniciar la recarga.
2. Presione el botón FB para ajustar el tiempo de recarga entre una y doce horas. El lado izquierdo

de la pantalla mostrara el indicador de recarga y el LED se encendiera. La pantalla mostrará C
OFF.
3. Presione el botón para detenerse en cualquier momento.
Notas durante la operación por baterías
• Para operar por baterías el adaptador debe estar desconectado de la unidad.
• Siempre reemplace las baterías al mismo tiempo y usando el mismo tipo.
• No mezcle baterías nuevas con usadas.
• Las baterías usadas pueden causar derrame o corrosión , nunca las deje en la unidad.
• Si la unidad no va a usarse o esta siendo operada por AC retire las baterías.
• Las baterías contienen substancias químicas, por lo tanto deben ser deshechas de acuerdo con
las normas.
• Evite que las baterías toquen algún metal para evitar cortos
• El adaptador y baterías pueden calentarse un poco durante la recarga, esto es normal
• Apague al recargar
• Siga las instrucciones de recarga para recargar.
• El indicador de baterías estará intermitente cuando las baterías están casi gastadas. La unidad
se apagará un corto rato después. Recárguelas o reemplácelas por nuevas.
• Nunca recargue baterías no recargables, ya que podría causa explosión.
• No recargue por mas de doce horas, para mantener la buena operación
• Si las baterías recargables son nuevas, le tomará 16 horas para la recarga completa.
8. INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
1. Presione el botón OPEN en el lado derecho de la puerta
2. Inserte un disco con el lado impreso hacia arriba
3. Conecte el cable A/V y adaptador o inserte baterías
4. Presione el botón PLAY para iniciar.
5. Durante la reproducción de CD o MP3 la unidad no tiene señal de video. Esto ahorrará energía.
Si el TV no tiene sonido, podrá ser causa de los ajustes del TV. Use otros altavoces.
NOTA: La instrucción errónea puede generar falla de operación. Por favor desconecte o retire las
baterías durante 5 segundos, y luego vuelva a encender.

9. CONTROL REMOTO – APARIENCIA E INSTRUCCIONES
1.
(1-10 /0 & 10+) –Los botones numéricos son usados para seleccionar una pista directamente
presionando el numero correspondiente de pista, si el numero excede la decena, presione el
botón (+ 10) seguido del digito que completa el numero. Ej., si desea seleccionar la pista 15
presione el botón +10 y luego el botón 5 como se muestra abajo.

DIGEST – Durante la reproducción de VCD, presione el botón para ver la imagen en 9 cuadros.
Use los botones numéricos para seleccionar uno de los nueve cuadros a reproducir. De lo
contrario la reproducción se iniciará automáticamente.
3.
RESUME – Durante la reproducción presione el botón STOP para detenerse. Posteriormente
presione el botón RESUME para reiniciar desde el punto en que se detuvo
4.
OSD – Durante la reproducción presione este botón repetidamente para desplegar la
información relativa a la reproducción. La quinta vez que lo haga la pantalla regresara a estado
normal.
5.
STEP - Durante la reproducción presione el botón y la imagen se congelará, una vez llegue al
cuadro deseado sostenga la tecla para reproducir en cámara lente, para regresar a
reproducción normal, presione el botón PLAY.
6.
VOL- - Presione este botón para reducir el nivel de volumen.

VOL.+ - Presione este botón para incrementar el nivel de volumen

<< y >>- Use estas teclas para reproducir a velocidad adelante o atrás, presione por una, dos,
tres, o cuatro veces para incrementar la velocidad respectivamente, la quinta vez que se
presiona la velocidad regresara a lo normal. Durante la operación presione el botón PLAY para
reproducir normalmente.
10.
R/L – Use este botón para alternar entre los canales de audio, presione la primera vez para
escuchar solo el canal izquierdo, la segunda vez para escuchar solo el canal derecho y la
tercera para escuchar en estéreo.

>II- Presione este botón para iniciar la reproducción, y nuevamente, para hacer una pausa.
12.
TIME – Presione este botón una vez y la pantalla mostrará (--:--). Use los botones numéricos
para ingresar el tiempo de reproducción al que desea ir Ej.. [23:18]. La reproducción se iniciara
en el momento del ingreso. Si los dígitos no son ingresados de manera completa (2-:--), Podrá
cancelar la función presionando el botón nuevamente. NOTA; Si el tiempo ingresado supera la
duración total del disco la función será invalidada.

PCB – Presione la primera vez para activar la función y desplegar el menú (PCB ON). Esta
función es solo para VCD versión 2.0. (El menú debe ser soportado por el disco). Use el menú
en la pantalla de TV para seleccionar los parámetros de reproducción deseados. Para
desactivar la función presione nuevamente.

RETURN- Con la función PCB activa, presione el botón para regresar a la pantalla de menú y
comenzar la reproducción desde allí.

REPEAT - Presione los botones (VOL- /MODE / REPEAT) para alternar los modos de
reproducción en la siguiente secuencia: Pista Sencilla – Repetición
Repetición de todas las pistas Exploración de introducciones – Reproducción al azar. Presione
una vez para repetir la pista en actual reproducción. Presione dos veces para repetir todas las
pistas del disco. En discos MP3 con mas de un directorio esta función solo aplica para el
directorio. Presione por tercera vez y se reproducirán los 10 primeros segundos de cada pista.
Presione una cuarta vez para reproducir las pistas al azar.

SLOW – Presione para reducir la velocidad de reproducción SLOW1. SLOW2 y SLOW3.
Presione la tecla “>II” para reproducir a velocidad normal.

MUTE – Presione este botón para silenciar el sonido, una segunda vez para reanudarlo.

ZOOM – Use este botón para agrandar la imagen durante la reproducción. Presione una vez
para agrandar al doble del tamaño normal. Presione nuevamente para regresar al tamaño
normal. Use los botones “<<", "I<<", ">>I”, “>>” para mover la imagen a la izquierda, derecha,
arriba y abajo respectivamente cuando esté agrandada.

>>I y I<< - Presione el botón “I<<” una vez para saltar a la pista anterior. Presione >>I una vez
para saltar a la siguiente pista. Presione y sostenga estos botones para saltar adelante o atrás
continuamente.

P/N – Use este botón para alternar entre los sistemas de video PAL y NTSC

STOP – Presione este botón para detener la reproducción y la pantalla mostrara el numero total
de pista y tiempo de reproducción. (Si después de 30 Segundos no se presiona ningún botón la
unidad se apagara automáticamente) Presione este botón nuevamente para apagar la unidad
inmediatamente.
10. INSTRUCCIÓN DE LA PANTALLA LCD

11.GUÍA DE SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
Antes de llevar a reparación, revise esta lista si experimenta un funcionamiento anormal

12. LIMPIEZA
Limpieza de la unidad
Pase un paño suave, para suciedad mas fuerte use un paño levemente humedecido en agua jabonosa
• Si va a usar una paño de limpieza químico , lea sus instrucciones primero
• No use alcohol o diluyentes químicos para limpiar.
Limpieza de La lente
• Una lente sucia puede causar fallas en la reproducción. Si la lente está muy sucia, está no
funcionará
• Abra la compuerta y limpie según se muestra en la figura, use un hisopo de algodón levemente
humedecido con alcohol
Limpieza del disco
• Remueva las huellas digitales cuidadosamente con un paño libre de motas. Como los discos
compactos no tienen surcos donde se almacene mugre, simplemente pasar el paño sería
suficiente para limpiarlo. Limpie en movimientos desde el centro hacia fuera.
• No use líquidos limpiadores como benzina, limpiador de acetatos o aerosol antiestático, ya que
estos químicos pueden dañar el disco.

13. MANTENIMIENTO Y PRECAUCIONES
1. Manipulación del CD
• Un disco sucio o rayado puede causar una reproducción ruidosa o errónea
• Siempre tome el disco por los bordes nunca toque la superficie
• Siempre guarde en el estuche después de usar, para evitar rayones
• No exponga el disco a la luz directa del sol, altos niveles de temperatura y humedad, polvo etc.
Las altas temperaturas pueden deformar el disco. Por ejemplo en el caso del interior de un auto
en verano
• No adhiera nada a la superficie del disco, objetos puntudos o las tinas de algunos marcadores
pueden dañarlo
2. Precaución
• Para evitar riesgos de descargas, no exponga a la lluvia o humedad
• No destape el gabinete
• Solo refiera a personal técnico calificado
• Peligro de exposición a radiación láser cuando se quebranta el dispositivo de seguridad
• Evite la exposición al haz de luz
• En caso de condensación, no intente limpiar la lente, espere hasta que se haya desvanecido.
• La unidad puede ser afectada por interferencia de teléfonos celulares cercanos
• La unidad posee elementos de vidrio peligrosos en caso de romperse

5. OPERATIONS AND FUNCTIONS
1. Power on / Play/Pause (PLAY)
1. Press this button to play automatically when power is connected.
2. During playback, press this button to pause. Press again to play continuous.

NOTE: It the LCD display appear the battery icon and without blink. It represents that the batteries not
enough power, please exchange new batteries.

6. Edit / Menu Return for VCD (PROG/PBC)
1. Edit the CD and MP3
a) The player could edit when stop to play. Press the button to show “00-P00” in the LCD
display. Enter the track number now to edit.
b) FF and FB to select the track. Press FF to increase 1 track. Press FB to decrease 1
track,
c) Press this button again to confirm. The LCD display will appear the total edited tracks
d) Repeat the above a-c steps to edit other track. Maximum to edit 20 tracks
e) Press PLAY button to play.
f) Press the button to cancel the playing when playing the edited tracks

8 Electronics Shock Protection / Select track for MP3 / PAL-NTSC dual-system
video output (P/N) (ESP/DIR/P-N)
Anti Shock Protection system is saved the syllabic to memory into the play procedures. When the player
is in shock state, the play stops, but the player will hold the memory of that shock period to play from
memory after shock is over. The player contain super anti shock mechanism to avoid skip it the player
change the speed of playing under the shock. CD has 35-40 seconds anti-shock and MP3 has 75-100
seconds anti-shock normally
1. When playing CD, this button is used to turn on or OFF the Anti Shock Protection system
2. When playing MP3, the Anti Shock Protection will turn on automatically. This button could select
the track
3. When playing VCD, this button is used select the TV system (PAL or NTSC). The TV display will
appear the system (PAL or NTSC)
4. This button under MP3 mode, press the button one time to increase 10 tracks in each time.
Notes:
• When playing CD, you can change the system of Anti Shock Protection. Regarding the speed of
CD, the music may be cut at 1-2 seconds.
• To start Anti Shock Protection, the CD will move faster to save the syllabic. The noise of the CD
movement may be increased.
9. Keys Lock / Hold (HOLD)
1. Slide the HOLD button to right side to turn on the HOLD function. The HOLD function prevents
the following:
a. Powering on/OFF the unit accidentally
b. Play being cut OFF unexpectedly in the middle of a selection.

7. POWER SOURCE
AC Power
1. Insert the plug at the allocated adapter into the 4.5V DC jack of the player; connect the adaptor
with AC socket into the wall socket.
2. Make sure the yellow jack at AV cable is connected to VIDEO of TV set.
Notice during operating adaptor
• The configuration at AC adaptor differs according to the area. Please check and confirm the
voltage at adaptor as same as the player before connecting the adaptor.
• Please take out the non-rechargeable batteries before connecting the adaptor.
• Do not use any other adaptor, except our provided. It could leak and cause corrosion.
• All the time when you switch the power source between batteries with adaptor, the playing music
will be aborted, please press PLAY to continue the music.
• It is very dangerous to touch the adaptor by wet hand during operating, because it will cause
shock.
• Please turn OFF the power before removing the adaptor. Do not take apart the adaptor. It will
lead to non-working.
• Please remove the adaptor it the unit is not in use for a longtime. It prevents potential damage.
DC Power
1. Turn back the unit.
2. Then, pull with a finger at the claw of the battery compartment and lightly lift it up in the direction
shown on the lid to open the battery compartment.
3. Insert 2pcs “AA” size / (UM-3) alkaline batteries to match the (+ and - polarity) to the diagram
inside the battery compartment and close the lid
Battery Recharge Procedure
When no disc
1. Turn back the unit.
2. Then, pull with a linger at the claw at the battery compartment
and lightly lift it up in the direction shown on the lid to open the
battery compartment.
3. Insert 2pcs “AA” size (1.2V Ni-cd 1000mAh) rechargeable
batteries by matching the (+ and –) to the diagram inside the
battery compartment and close the lid
4. Press the PLAY button until the LCD display show READ.
5. Press PLAY button again to get ready the recharge battery. The LCD display will show C ON
The pre-set rechargeable time (00:00) will show out. Press PLAY Button again to change the
battery rechargeable time to 12 hours and it will blink on the LCD display. If you want to set the
recharge time, press FF or FB buttons to select. The time could set between 1 and 12 hours.
6. Press PLAY button again to turn on the recharge battery function, The LCD display will show the
recharge indicator and the LED indicator will turn on.
7. Press Stop button to cancel and return to start point.

When playback
1. During playback, press PLAY button, the LCD display will appear “C ON The left corner of LCD
display will appear a battery icon. It represents that you could insert rechargeable battery to start
the recharge function.
2. Press FB button to set rechargeable time (1-12 hours). The left corner of the LCD display will
appear the recharge battery indicator and the LED will light on, it represents the recharge battery
function is operating. The LCD will appear C OFF
3. Press PLAY button to stop anytime.
Notice during battery operation
• For battery operation the AC power adaptor must be disconnected from DC IN jack.
• Making sure to use two new batteries with same type when replacing them.
• Do not mix different types together or old batteries with new one
• Old batteries can leak and cause corrosion, so never leave run-down batteries in your unit.
• If the unit is not used for a long time or is used with AC adaptor, remove all the batteries to
prevent potential damage due to possible battery leakage.
• Batteries contain chemical substances. So they should be disposed of properly
• To avoid a short circuit, do not let the battery to touch any metal object,
• The AC adaptor and rechargeable batteries may become warm while recharging is in progress.
This is not a malfunction.
• Please turn oft the power when recharging
• Please follow the operation instruction of recharging procedure to recharge battery.
• The battery indicator flashes on and OFF when the batteries are almost out of power. Power is
cutoff completely a short while later. Please recharge battery or replace the batteries with new
ones.
• Do not recharge the non-rechargeable batteries, It will lead to explode or leak,
• Do not charge continuously for 12 hours or more, otherwise it will deteriorate the performance of
the rechargeable batteries.
• If the rechargeable batteries are being used the first time, if will take approximately 16 hours to be
fully charged.
8. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Push the OPEN button to right side to open the door.
2. Insert the disc to the facing upward.
3. Connect the A/V cable and adaptor or insert batteries
4. Press PLAY button to display.
5. When playing the CD and MP3, the player do not has the video signal. It will save the power
consumption. If the TV no sound, it may be caused by the different setting from the TV. Please
use other speaker.
Note: Wrong instruction could disturb the operation. Please remove the batteries or turn oft the power 5
seconds, then to re-connect and turn on normally.

9. INFRARED REMOTE CONTROL - APPEARANCE AND
INSTRUCTIONS

(1-10 /0 & 10+) -The numeric keys are used for directly choosing specific tracks, By pressing a
corresponding numeric key, you can directly play the desired track. If there are more than 10
tracks on a disc, lest press the 110+) key, then press the numeric key corresponding to the
number of the one’s digit. (For example, the following the figure illustrates how to choose track
No. 15)

DIGEST - When playing the VCD, press the key to view the whole disc to divide 9 squares at
the same lime. Press the numeric keys (1-9) to select the start point from the 9 squares. If you
don’t select, the player will play automatically.

RESUME - During playback, press the STOP key is stopped. Press the “RESUME” key and the
player will automatically locate the previous interrupted position and start to play from this point

OSD - During playback, press the key and the playing time of the current track is displayed on
the TV screen, Press the key fifth time and the TV display returns to normal,

STEP - ‘When play press this key once and the playback freeze. Once desired stop appears,
hold the key for slow motion playback. To release the function, press the PLAY button for

<< And >>- The keys are used for playing the disc fast backwardly or fast forwardly. Press the
keys for Xl, X2. X3. X4 time and the player will play the disc last backwardly or fast forward at
one, two three end tour times its normal speed respectively. Press the keys the fifth time end the
playback speed will be normal again. (You can use these two keys to quickly scan the disc.
Once a scene in which you are interested is shown, press the >11 key and the player wilt start
to play the disc from this point at normal speed.)

R/L - The key is used to switchover the left and right sound channels. The first time this key is
depressed, only sound on the left channel can be heard. The second time this key is depressed,
only sound on the right channel can be heard. The third time this key is depressed, stereo
sound can be heard.

>II- Press the key to playback, (pause when playing.

TIME - Press this key once and the LCD displays (--:--) Use the numeric keys on the infrared
remote control to enter the elapsed time you want to go to, e.g.. [23:18]. The player will start to
play from the time you keyed in. It all digits are net entered: (2-:--), you can cancel it by pressing
“Time Search again. Note: It the time you keyed in exceed the total length et the disc, this
operation is unfilled.

PCB - Press this key for the first time the player will display the menu (PCB ON). This function
for VCD 2.0 version only, (Menu display needs to be supported by the disc). When menu is
displayed on the TV screen, you can choose the track according to the numbers n the menu.
This key could select the menu display to PCB ON / PCB OFF.

RETURN- Press the key and the player will return to the menu screen (PCB ON) and start to
play from there.

REPEAT - Press (VOL- /MODE / REPEAT) these keys repeatedly and the repeat modes
changes in the following cycle: Single Track - Repeat- All Tracks Repeat- Intro Play - Random
Play Pressing the keys once will repeal the track currently being played. Pressing the keys twice
will repeat all the tracks in the disc. For MP3 disc with more than one directory, repeat the
current directory only. Pressing the keys the third time will intro play the disc, i.e.: play the first
10 seconds of each of the tracks of the disc in turn. Press the keys the fourth time and the
player will play the tracks of the disc random as determined by the microprocessor of the player.

SLOW - The key is for playback at a slower speed to SLOW1. SLOW2 and SLOW3. Press the
“>IF key end the player will start to play the disc from this point at normal speed.

MUTE - Press this key once and the sound is muted. Press this key the second time and the
sound can be heard again.

ZOOM - The key is used to enlarge the picture during playback. Press the key once and the
picture on the screen is enlarged to double its original size. Press this key again and the picture
returns to its normal size. When the picture on the screen is enlarged to double its original size.

You can still use the “<<", "I<<", ">>I”, “>>” keys on the remote control to shift the picture to the
left, right, up and down respectively.

>>I and I<< - Press the “I<<” key once and the player skips to the previous track. Press >>I key
once and the player skips to the next track. Keep the keys depressed and the player will
continuously skip backward and forward respectively.

P/N - The key is used to switchover between PAL and NTSC systems.

STOP - Press this key once stops the playback and the LCD panel displays the total number of
tracks and total playback time. (Subsequently the player will automatically power OFF in 30
seconds if no keys are pressed.) Press the key again the player is powered OFF.

11.TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Check the following items before resort to repair service it you find your player is abnormal

1. Check the disc properly secured in place

Cleaning the unit
Wipe the unit with a soft cloth. Remove stubborn dirt using a cloth that has been dipped in water or
soapy water and wring out, and then wipe dry
• If you intend to use a chemical cleaning cloth, read its directions first.
• Do not use alcohol or paint thinners.
Cleaning the lens
• A dirty lens will cause sound skipping. If the lens is very dirty, the player may not work.
• Open the lid and clean the lens as shown in the figure. Use a cotton swab very slightly dampened
with alcohol to clean the lens
Cleaning the disc
• Fingerprints should be carefully wiped from the surface of CD with a soft cloth. Unlike
conventional records, compact discs have no grooves to collect dust and microscopic dirt, so
gently wiping them with a soft cloth should remove most particles. Wipe in a straight motion from
the center t the edge.

• Never use thinner, benzene, record cleaner or anti-static spray on a compact disc. Such
chemicals can damage its plastic surface.
13. MAINTENANCE & CAUTIONS
1. Maintenance Handling CD
• Dirty, scratched or warped disc may cause skipping or noise.
• Handle the disc only by the edges. To keep clean, do not touch its surface.
• Discs should be stored in their cases after use to avoid scratches.
• Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, high temperatures, or dust, etc. Prolonged
exposure to extreme temperatures can warp the disc (such as leaving the discs in your car during
summertime).
• Do not stick or write anything on either side of disc. Sharp writing instruments, or the inks used in
some felt-tip pens, may damage its surface.
2. CAUTION
• To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture
• To avoid electrical shock, do not open the cabinet
• Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
• Invisible laser radiation when open and interlocks defeated.
• Avoid exposure to beam.
• The lens may cloud over when the unit is moved suddenly from cold to warm surroundings.
Playing a CD is not possible then. Leave the CD player in a warm environment until the moisture
has evaporated-
