The appliance should then function normally. If not, return to an authorized Conair Service Center for evaluation and repair. Test Reset 2. The appliance will stop working. There will be an audible click and reset button will pop out. This indicates the ALCI is functioning properly. 3. To reset ALCI, unit should be unplugged. At 220–250V while the speed switch is set at Low and the heat switch is set to Hot, the dryer operates only at high speed with high heat. Do not attempt to operate/change the setting on the speed and heat switches or change to 125 position when operating on 220–250V. The switches must be set and remain in the Low (on speed switch), Hot (on heat switch) and 250 positions. A plug adapter may be necessary in certain countries. Fig. 1 the arrow points at 125. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. This appliance is intended for household use only. Use on Alternating Current (50/60 hertz) only. Standard dryers are designed to operate at 110 to 125 volts AC or 220 to 250 volts AC.
