12. Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in the appliance as they may

cause a fire or risk of electrical shock.

13. A fire may occur if the appliance is covered or touching flammable material

including curtains, draperies, walls and the like when in operation.

14. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch

electrical parts, involving a risk of electrical shock.

15. Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of other

material other than metal or glass.

16. Do not place any of the following materials on the unit: Paper, cardboard, plastic

and the like.

17. Some countertop and table surfaces, such as Corian®, wood and/or laminates, are

not designed to withstand prolonged heat generated by certain appliances. It is

recommended by countertop manufacturers that a hot pad or trivet be placed

under your appliance to prevent possible damage to the surface.

SHORT CORD PURPOSE

NOTE: A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from

becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.

Longer power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is

exercised in their use.

If an extension cord is used: (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should

be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product; (2) the extension cord should

be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can

unintentionally be pulled on or tripped over by

children or pets.

POLARIZED PLUG

If this appliance is equipped with a

polarized plug

(one blade is wider than the other),

please follow the below instructions:

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet

only one way. If you are unable to fit the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the

plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with

an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord. Do not

alter the plug of the product or any extension cord being used with this product. Do not

attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• Read instructions carefully.

HOW TO USE YOUR BREAKFAST CENTER

USING THE TOASTER OVEN

Before First Use of Toaster Oven:

PLEASE NOTE: The initial 15 minutes of use may result in minimal smell and smoke. This

is normal and harmless and comes from the protective substance applied to the heating

elements during manufacturing.

1. Make sure the Timer Control Knob is set to “OFF” position before plugging the

power cord into a wall outlet.

2. Set the Timer Control Knob to pre-heat the oven for 15-min using mode 3 (griddle

and oven working together) at the maximum temperature or until the smoke and

odor no longer persist.

3. Turn the Timer Control Knob to the “OFF” position and remove the power cord from

the wall outlet.

Using the Timer Control Knob:

1. In order for the toaster oven to turn on, the Timer Control Knob must be set.

2. Turn the Timer Control Knob clockwise to select the desired time.

(Maximum time 15-minutes)

3. Once the desired time frame has expired, the timer bell will ring loudly and the oven

will turn OFF automatically.

4. If you wish to shut the timer off earlier than the programmed time, you can

manually turn it off by turning the Timer Control Knob counter clockwise to the OFF

position.

Using the Toaster Oven:

1. When using the broiler tray, preheat the oven for 2-minutes.

2. When toasting, place the food directly onto the baking rack.

3. Always keep the door closed when the oven is in use.

4. The oven can be used to defrost or heat up frozen foods. The time will depend on

the size and the temperature of the food.

5. To ensure uniform defrosting, divide the food into smaller portions if possible and

wrap in aluminum foil.

USING THE BREAKFAST GRIDDLE

1. Make sure the timer is set to OFF position before plugging the power cord into a

wall outlet.

2. Position the Oven-Top Griddle on top of the oven.

3. Set the Timer Control Knob to desired time.

4. Set mode selector to Mode 1.

5. When cooking is complete, set the Timer Control Knob to the OFF position before

unplugging.

USING THE COFFEE MAKER

1. Fill the coffeemaker glass carafe with cold water. Lift open the tank lid and pour the

water into the Coffeemaker Water Tank.

2. Swing open the filter compartment, remove the reusable filter and put paper filter

on top of it, this should prevent any potential leakage. Fill with ground coffee. Place

the reusable filter back into the swing-out basket and carefully push it closed until it

snaps into place. (You can also use the coffee maker with ONLY the reusable filter).

3. Close the Coffeemaker Water Tank lid.

4. Place the empty glass carafe back onto the heating plate of the coffeemaker.

5. Switch the ON/OFF button to ON.

6. Switch button to "OFF" position when finished.

** Note: The glass carafe can be kept warm as long as there is always approximately

one cup of coffee left in it.

** Always turn off the unit when it is empty or when not in use.

HINTS & TIPS

• Never operate the toaster oven with door completely open.

• Always use heat resistant containers. Make sure the container can fit properly inside

the oven before use.

• Never set a cooking container directly on the lower heating element. Always use

the Baking Rack.

• In order to prevent countertop damage from the lower heating elements, the crumb

tray must always be positioned securely inside the oven.

• Always leave at least 1-inch between food or containers from the top heating

element.

• Always remove any plastic or paper from TV dinner dishes before putting inside the

oven to cook. Always check cooking instructions to make sure it is safe to use in a

Toaster Oven.

• Take caution when removing foods or containers. Always use oven mitts or hot

pads.

• Never operate the oven unattended.

• Stop using the appliance if smoke comes from the power cord. Unplug immediately.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Always make sure the unit is turned OFF and unplugged when not in use.

2. Always allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.

3. Use a damp wash cloth to clean the outside of the main appliance. Use a dry cloth

to clean the interior of the oven. Never use abrasive cleansers or products that

cause scratching.

4. The Toaster Oven Baking Pan is dishwasher safe.

5. The removable crumb tray can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Dry it completely

before replacing it back into the oven. Make sure to clean the crumb tray on a

regular basis.

6. When cleaning inside the oven, make sure not to touch or damage the heat

elements.

1. Your small kitchen appliance is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from any

manufacturing defects under normal use and conditions for one (1) year, cord excluded. This

Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product.

2. Retail stores/merchants selling this product do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any

way revise the terms and conditions of the warranty.

3. If you use your appliance for household use and according to instructions, it should give you

years of satisfactory service.

4. At its sole discretion, Maxi-Matic USA will either repair or replace the product found to be

defective during the warranty period.

5. The repaired or replacement product will be in warranty for the remaining balance of the

one-year warranty period and an additional one-month period.

6. Consumer’s remorse is not an acceptable reason to return a product to our Service Center.

7. This limited warranty covers appliances purchased and used within the 50 U.S. states plus the

District of Columbia and does NOT cover normal wear of parts or:

- Damages caused by unreasonable use, neglect, normal wear and tear, commercial use,

improper assembly or installation of product.

- Damages caused in shipping.

- Damages caused by replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.

- Defects other than manufacturing defects.

- Breakage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper care and maintenance,

or incorrect current or voltage.

- Lost or missing parts of the product. Parts will need to be purchased separately.

- Damages of parts that are not electrical; i.e. cracked or broken plastic/glass, scratched/dented

- Damage from service or repair by unauthorized personnel.

- Extended warranties purchased via a separate company or reseller.

- Acts of God such as fire, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.

8. This warranty does not apply to re-manufactured merchandise.

Maxi-Matic, USA shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the

breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited by applicable law, any

implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in time to the

duration of the warranty.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

RETURNS:

A. Any return of defective merchandise to Maxi-Matic, USA must be processed accordingly by

first contacting customer service (in[email protected]) to obtain an RA # (Return

Authorization Number). We will not accept any returns of merchandise without an

applicable RA #.

B. IMPORTANT RETURN INSTRUCTIONS. Your Warranty depends on your following these

instructions if you are returning the unit to Maxi-Matic, USA:

1. Carefully pack the item in its original carton or other suitable box with sufficient

cushioning to avoid damage in shipping.

2. Before packing your unit for return, be sure to enclose:

a) Your name, full address with zip code, daytime telephone number,

and RA#,

b) A dated sales receipt or PROOF OF PURCHASE,

c) The model number of the unit and the problem you are having

(Enclose in an envelope and tape directly to the unit before the box is

sealed,) and

d) Any parts or accessories related to the problem.

3. Maxi-Matic, USA recommends that you ship the package via UPS ground service

for tracking purposes. We cannot assume responsibility for lost or damaged

products returned to us during incoming shipment. For your protection, always

carefully package the product for shipment and insure it with the carrier. C.O.D

shipments cannot be accepted.

4. All return shipping charges must be prepaid by you.

5. Once your return has been received by our warehouse, Maxi-Matic, USA will

repair or replace the product if it is defective in material or workmanship, subject

to the conditions in paragraph B.

6. Maxi-Matic will pay the shipping charges to ship the repaired or replacement

product back to you.

EL USO DE UN CORDÓN CORTO

1. Para reducir el riesgo de daños personales, como un tropezón o enredarse con el

cordón eléctrico, un cordón eléctrico corto es suministrado con la unidad.

2. Una extensión eléctrica más larga podrá ser utilizada, siempre y cuando tome

extremas precauciones durante su uso.

COMO USAR

Antes del primer uso:

1. Asegurese de leer todas las instrucciones cuidadosamente.

2. Remueva todo material de empaque, asegurese que no falte ninguna parte que

estan incluidas y en buenas condiciones.

3. Lave todos los accesorios en agua caliente y jabón, enjuague y seque

perfectamente.

Para utilizar el horno tostador

Antes de utilizar el horno tostador:

Durante el primer uso, el horno podria emitir humo u olor a quemado y esto es por el

proceso de manufactura del aparato, esto es normal y no produce ningún daño.

Es muy recomendado pre-calentar el horno aproximadamente 15 minutos, para eliminar

cualquier tipo de residuo de manufactura y mal olor.

1. Asegurese que el temporizador este apagado(OFF) antes de conectarlo al toma

corriente.

2. Coloque el temporizador en 15 minutos aprox. Y el control de temperatura al

maximo para pre calentar el horno o hasta que el humo o mal olor desaparezca.

3. Despues coloque el temporizador en apagado(OFF) y desconecte del toma

corriente.

Usando el temporizador:

1. Para que el horno encienda, debera de utilizar el temporizador y seleccionar el

tiempo deceado.

2. Haga girar el boton del temporizador a la derecha para seleccionar el tiempo

deceado ( Maximo 15 minutos).

3. Una vez que el tiempo seleccionado haya expirado, sonara la alarma integrada en el

temporizador y la unidad se apagara automáticamente.

4. Si decea apagar la unidad antes del tiempo programado, puede hacerlo

manualmente Haciendo girar el boton del temporizador a la izquierda en posición

de apagado(OFF).

Utilizando el horno tostador

1. Cuando use la charola precaliente el horno por 2 minutos aproximadamente

2. Cuando quiera dorar coloque los alimentos directamente en la parrilla

3. Siempre mantenga la puerta del horno cerrada cuando este en uso.

4. El horno podra ser usado como descongelador o para calentar alimentos cogelados.

El tiempo dependera del tamaño y temperatura de los alimentos

5. Para asegurarse de un descongelado uniforme, divida los alimentos en porciones

pequeñas si es posible y envuelva en hojas de aluminio.

CONTROLES DEL TOSTADOR:

OFF Todos los elementos térmicos estan apagados(OFF)

UP Unicamente el elemento térmico superior esta encendido (UP).

DOWN Unicamente el elemento térmico inferior esta encendido (ON)

COMO USAR (cont.)

PLANCHA PARA COCINAR

1. Asegurese de que el temporizador este apagado(OFF) antes de conectar al toma

corriente.

2. Coloque la plancha para cocinar en la parte superior del horno.

3. Coloque el temporizador al tiempo deceado.

4. Coloque el selector de temperatura en (UP) unicamente.

5. Cuando termine de cocinar, apague la unidad colocando el temporizador en

apagado (OFF) antes de desconectar la unidad del toma corriente.

CAFETERA

1. Llene la jarra de la cafetera con agua fría, levante la tapa y vacíe la jarra en el

depósito de la cafetera,

2. Haga girar el compartimento de filtro hacia fuera, remueva el filtro reusable y llene

con café, regrese el compartimento de filtro a su posición original

3. Tape el depósito de la cafetera.

4. Coloque la jarra en el plato térmico de la cafetera.

5. Encienda la cafetera utilizando el interruptor de(ON/OFF) en la posición ON.

** Nota: La jarra de la cafetera se puede mantener caliente siempre y cuando haya

aprox. Una taza de café en ella.

** Siempre apage la unidad cuando la jarra de la cafetera, este vacía

IDEAS Y SUGERENCIAS

• Nunca trate de utilizar el horno con la puerta completamente abierta.

• Siempre use recipientes resistentes al calor. Asegurese de que el recipiente entre

perfectamente dentro del horno antes de usar.

• Nunca coloque cualquier tipo de recipientes directamente en el elemento termico

inferior, siempre use la parrilla,

• Para prevenir daños del elemento térmico inferior, en la superficies donde coloca su

horno. La charola para reciduos devera de estar siempre colocada y bien asegurada

dentro del horno.

• Siempre deje cuando menos 1” pulgada de espacio entre el elemento térmico

superior y los alimentos colocados dentro del horno.

5. El producto reparado o reemplazado estará garantizado por el saldo restante del

período de garantía de un año y un plazo adicional de un mes.

6. Esta garantía limitada cubre los aparatos comprados y usados en los 50 estados

contiguos y el Distrito de Columbia, y no cubre:

- Los daños causados por el uso excesivo, negligencia, uso y desgaste normal, uso

comercial, montaje o instalación incorrecta del producto.

- Los daños causados durante el envío.

- Los daños causados por la sustitución o reposición de fusibles o disyuntores.

- Defectos que no sean defectos de fabricación.

- Rotura causada por mal uso, abuso, accidente, alteración, falta de cuidado y

mantenimiento, o incorrecta de corriente o voltaje.

- Pérdida o falta alguna pieza del producto. Las piezas se deben comprar por separado.

- Daños de piezas que no sean eléctricos; por ejemplo: agrietado o roto de plástico o de

vidrio.

- Daños por servicio o reparación por personal no autorizado.

- Las garantías extendidas compradas a través de una empresa independiente o

revendedor.

- Remordimiento del consumidor no es una razón aceptable para devolver un producto

a nuestro Centro de Servicio.

* Un año de garantía limitada válida solamente en los 50 estados contiguos y el Distrito de

Columbia, excluyendo Puerto Rico y las Islas Vírgenes.

Esta garantía es válida sólo si el producto es comprado y operado en los EE.UU., el uso del

producto que se encuentra en violación de las instrucciones escritas proporcionadas con la

unidad anulará esta garantía.

INSTRUCCIONES DE DEVOLUCIÓN

DEVOLUCIONES:

A. Cualquier devolución de mercancía defectuosa al fabricante deben ser procesados

apropiadamente contactando primero al servicio al cliente (información de contacto se

muestra a continuación) para obtener un # RA (Número de autorización de devolución). No se

aceptará ninguna devolución de mercancía sin un # RA aplicable.

B. INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE RETORNO. Su garantía depende que usted siga estas

instrucciones si va a devolver la unidad a Maxi-Matic EE.UU.:

1. Empaque cuidadosamente el producto en su caja original o en otra caja adecuada

para evitar daños durante el envío.

2. Antes del envío de la devolución unidad, asegúrese de adjuntar:

a) Su nombre, dirección completa con código postal, número de teléfono

durante el día, y #RA

b) Un recibo de compra fechado o COMPROBANTE DE COMPRA,

c) El número de modelo de la unidad y el problema que tiene (Encierre en

un sobre y pegue directamente a la unidad antes de sellar la caja) y

d) Todas las piezas o accesorios relacionados con el problema.

3. Maxi-Matic EE.UU. recomienda enviar el paquete de servicio terrestre de UPS para

fines de seguimiento. No podemos asumir la responsabilidad por productos

perdidos o dañados devueltos a nosotros durante el transporte entrante. Para su

protección, siempre cuidadosamente empaquetar el producto para su envío y

asegurarlo con la compañía. Envíos C.O.D no puede ser aceptado.

4. Todos los gastos de envío de devolución debe ser pagado por usted.

5. Una vez que su devolución ha sido recibida por nuestro almacén, Maxi-Matic

EE.UU. se compromete a reparar o sustituir el producto si presenta defectos de

materiales o mano de obra, sujeto a las condiciones del apartado B.

6. Maxi-Matic pagará los gastos de envío para enviar el producto reparado o

reemplazado de nuevo a usted.
