Para evitar incendios, choques eléctricos, quemaduras y otros daños personales, hay que
respetar unas medidas básicas de seguridad cuando utilice aparatos eléctricos.
Por su propia seguridad y para que pueda efectuar un uso correcto, por favor,
lea este manual con atención antes de utilizar su calefactor por primera vez

INTRODUCCIÓN.
Agradecemos la confianza depositada en nosotros al adquirir este
producto THULOS®. Nuestro principal empeño es ofrecer artículos
excelentes, manteniendo los más estrictos controles de calidad y
cumpliendo todas las normativas vigentes de seguridad, con el
objetivo de presentar un producto perfecto y seguro para el uso
doméstico.
ADVERTENCIAS A TENER EN CUENTA.
1. El voltaje del aparato debe ser igual al de la red eléctrica de su casa.
2. Use la sección de cable adecuada
3. Nunca tapar el radiador ni echar ropa encima mientras está
encendido.
4. No mueva nunca el radiador mientras esté en marcha.
5. Desenchufar siempre que no esté siendo utilizado.
6. No utilice nunca el radiador si el cable o el propio aparato están
estropeados.
7. Este electrodoméstico sólo puede ser abierto y reparado por
personal autorizado
INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE SEGURIDAD.
Cuando use electrodomésticos, siga siempre las siguientes precauciones
básicas de seguridad, incluyendo las siguientes

1. Conecte siempre el aparato a una fuente de alimentación del
mismo voltaje, frecuencia y potencia nominal a la indicada en la
placa de identificación del producto.
2. Retire todo el material de embalaje y compruebe que el producto
está en buenas condiciones.
3. No permita a los niños que jueguen con el material de embalaje
como bolsas de plástico.
4. Vigilar siempre la unidad siempre que haya niños utilizando el
radiador o estén cerca.
5. No permita a los niños que usen el aparato como si fuera un
juguete.
6. No ponga en funcionamiento ningún aparato que tenga el cable o
la clavija estropeada, ni si el producto presenta un mal
funcionamiento o si está golpeado o aparece dañado de algún
modo. Devuelva el producto y el material de embalaje a la tienda
donde lo adquirió para que lo examinen, reparen o sustituyan.
7. Antes de desenchufar el producto de la corriente, asegúrese de que
está apagado.
8. Cuando toque la unidad, hágalo con las manos secas. En caso
contrario podrá recibir una descarga eléctrica.
9. Antes de utilizarlo, compruebe que el cable es lo suficientemente
largo y colóquelo de modo que no entre en contacto con ninguna
parte del radiador.
10. Mientras el radiador esté siendo utilizado, algunas partes estarán
calientes.
11. Para desplazarlo, cójalo exclusivamente por el asa o abertura para
ello. No utilice el radiador en áreas como garajes, donde se
acumulen o utilicen petróleo, pintura u otras sustancias inflamables.
12. No lo utilice cerca del mobiliario, animales, cortinas u otros objetos
inflamables. Mantenga los materiales combustibles como el
mobiliario, ropas y otros alejados mínimo a 1 metro de distancia del
radiador.
13. No coloque el cable por debajo de la moqueta ni lo cubra con
alfombras o muebles.

14. Coloque el cable de modo que no pueda tropezar con él.
15. No coloque el radiador sobre la cama ni sobre moqueta.
16. Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, no sumerja ni exponga el
producto ni el cable a la lluvia, humedad ni a cualquier otro líquido.
17. Este producto no puede ser utilizado en la proximidad inmediata de
agua, como es el caso de la bañera, barreños, piscinas etc., en los
que es muy probable que caiga o que le salpique agua.
18. Apague y desenchufe el aparato de la red cuando no esté siendo
utilizado.
19. Apague y desenchufe el aparato de la red antes de limpiarlo.
20. Desenchúfelo tirando de la clavija. Nunca tire del cable.
21. Elimine de forma regular el polvo de las rejillas del radiador.
22. No conecte ningún otro electrodoméstico en el mismo enchufe en
el que ha conectado su radiador. Puede provocar una sobrecarga
eléctrica.
23. Evite utilizar alargadores ya que estos cables pueden
sobrecalentarse y provocar fuego.
24. Utilice el aparato sólo para los usos indicados en este manual.
25. No apto para uso en exteriores. PARA USO EXCLUSIVO EN
INTERIORES.
26. No deje el aparato abandonado cuando esté encendido.
27. No coloque el radiador cerca de materiales inflamables como ropa
o cortinas.
28. Nunca cubra la unidad mientras esté en funcionamiento.
29. No ubique el radiador justamente por debajo de un enchufe de
pared.
30. La utilización de accesorios no recomendados ni vendidos por el
distribuidor del producto pueden originar heridas o accidentes
personales o materiales.
31. Este producto fue diseñado exclusivamente para uso doméstico.
32. Utilice este radiador tal y como recomendamos en este manual.
Cualquier otro uso, no recomendado por el fabricante puede
provocar incendio, choques eléctricos o accidente personal y anular
la garantía.

33. Este aparato pueden utilizarlo niños con edad de 8 años y superior
y personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales estén
reducidas, o falta de experiencia y conocimiento, si se les ha dado
la supervisión o formación apropiadas al uso del aparato por una
persona responsable de su seguridad.
34. Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato, este aparato no es un
juego para niños.
35. La limpieza y el mantenimiento a realizar por el usuario no deben
de realizarlo los niños sin supervisión. Los niños menores de 3 años
deben mantenerse fuera del alcance del aparato a menos que sean
continuamente supervisados.
36. PRECAUCIÓN: Algunas partes de este producto pueden ponerse
muy calientes y causar quemaduras. Debe ponerse atención
particular cuando los niños y las personas vulnerables estén
presentes.
UBICACIÓN Y POSICIÓN.
1. El aparato debe colocarse a una distancia mínima de protección de
1m de cualquier objeto inflamable (por ejemplo, cortinas, ropa,
muros u otras estructuras).
2. La posición correcta del aparato es de pie sobre su soporte de
apoyo (en vertical).
CABLE DE ALIMENTACIÓN.
1. Utilice alargadores homologados de acuerdo con la placa
energética de su aparato.
2. No coloque el cable debajo de la moqueta.
3. No coloque por encima del cable alfombras, felpudos ni otros
artículos similares.
4. Coloque el cable de modo que no pueda tropezar con él.
5. Nunca tire del cable para desenchufar el aparato.
6. Desenchufe el aparato cuando no esté siendo usado.

MONTAJE DEL RADIADOR.
Ajuste el pie al radiador empujándolo firmemente sobre el panel de
control y la última aleta tal y como se muestra en el diagrama. Verifique la
estabilidad del radiador colocándolo sobre una superficie lisa y nivelada.

COMPONENTES DEL RADIADOR.
1. Interruptor ON/OFF.
2. Termostato.
3. Asa.
4. Elementos con aceite.
5. Patas soporte.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL RADIADOR.
NOTA 1: - Cuando se enciende el radiador por primera vez o después de
no haberlo utilizado durante un período prolongado, puede emitir algo
de olor y humo. Estos desaparecerán cuando el calentador haya estado
encendido por un corto tiempo.
1. Elija una ubicación adecuada para el calentador, teniendo en
cuenta las instrucciones de seguridad anteriores.
2. Inserte el enchufe del calentador en un enchufe adecuado.
3. Gire la mando del termostato completamente en el sentido de las
agujas del reloj hasta el ajuste máximo.
4. Encienda el elemento calefactor mediante el interruptor. Cuando
el elemento calefactor está encendido, el interruptor de
encendido se iluminará.
5. Cuando se alcanza la temperatura ambiente deseada, la perilla
del termostato debe girarse lentamente en sentido anti horario

hasta que se escuche que el termostato se apaga y se ve que la
luz del interruptor de encendido se apaga. Después de esto, el
calentador mantendrá la temperatura del aire en la habitación a
la temperatura establecida al encenderse y apagarse
automáticamente.
LIMPIEZA DEL RADIADOR.
1. Desenchufe siempre el calentador de la toma de corriente y deje
que se enfríe antes de limpiarlo.
2. Limpie el exterior del calentador con un paño húmedo y pula con
un paño seco. No use detergentes ni abrasivos y no permita que
entre agua al calentador.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO.
• El radiador debe estar desenchufado de la corriente eléctrica.
• Si ha estado encendido, esperar a que se enfríe antes de
proceder a su limpieza.
• Limpie el aparato con un trapo ligeramente humedecido.
• Nunca utilice productos abrasivos o inflamables para limpiar el
aparato.
• Nunca sumerja el radiador en agua.
• Limpie las rejillas con un plumero, cepillo ó aspirador.
• Si no va a utilizar el radiador durante un largo periodo de tiempo,
guárdelo en un lugar fresco y seco donde no coja suciedad ni
polvo.
• Almacenar siempre en posición vertical.
CONDICIONES DE GARANTÍA.
1. Este aparato está cubierto contra cualquier defecto de fábrica.
2. El aparato se cambiará siempre y cuando esté dentro del plazo de
cambio y se devuelva con todos sus accesorios y embalaje.
3. La garantía será válida siempre y cuando el aparato vaya

acompañado de su factura o ticket de compra donde salga
reflejado el aparato, o también su tarjeta de garantía
debidamente cumplimentada y sellada.
4. EL APARATO ESTARÁ EXENTO DE GARANTÍA (NO CUBIERTO)
CUANDO:
4.1. El aparato tenga señales de golpes y/o caídas.
4.2. El aparato presente signos de mal uso.
4.3. El aparato presente signos de uso excesivo.
4.4. El aparato esté manipulado inadecuadamente.
4.5. No tiene documento acreditativo (tarjeta, ticket o
factura compra).
4.6. El aparato no se ha usado según las instrucciones de
uso.
NORMAS DE PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIOAMBIENTE.
Este aparato no se debe desechar con los residuos domésticos
cuando finalice su durabilidad, sino que se debe ofrecer a un

these operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. If
you pass the unit on to someone else, please give them these operating
instructions as well.
WARNINGS TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT.
1. The voltage of the device must be equal to that of the electrical
network of your home.
2. Use the appropriate cable section
3. Never cover the radiator or put clothes on while it is on.
4. Never move the radiator while it is running.
5. Unplug whenever it is not being used.
6. Never use the radiator if the cable or the appliance itself is
damaged.
7. This appliance can only be opened and repaired by authorized
personnel.
MPORTANT SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS.
When using electric appliances, always follow the basic safety precautions
below, including the following:

ADVICE: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury or

1. Always connect the appliance to a power source of the same

2. Remove all packing material and check that the product is in good
condition.
3. Do not allow children to play with the packaging material (for
example, plastic bags).
4. Always watch the unit whenever children are using the radiator or
are nearby.
5. Do not allow children to use the device as if it were a toy.
6. Do not operate any appliance that has a damaged cord or plug, or

17. Turn off and unplug the appliance from the electric current when
it is not being used.
18. Turn off and unplug the appliance from the electric current before
cleaning it.
19. Unplug it by pulling the plug. Never pull the cable.
20. Remove dust from oven racks on a regular basis.
21. Do not connect any other appliance to the same outlet where you
have connected your radiator. It can cause an electrical overload.
22. Avoid using extension cords because these cables can overheat
and cause fire.
23. Use the device only for the uses indicated in this manual.
24. Not suitable for outdoor use. FOR EXCLUSIVE USE IN INTERIORS.
25. Do not leave the appliance abandoned when it is switched on.
26. Do not place the radiator near flammable materials such as
clothes or curtains.
27. Never cover the unit while it is in operation.
28. Do not place the radiator just below a wall socket.
29. The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the
distributor of the product may cause injuries or personal or
material accidents.
30. This product was designed exclusively for domestic use.
31. Use this radiator as recommended in this manual. Any other use,
not recommended by the manufacturer, may cause fire, electric
shock or personal accident and void the warranty.
32. This device can be used by children aged 8 years and above and
people with physical, sensory or mental abilities are reduced, or
lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given
supervision or training appropriate to the use of the device by a
person responsible for your safety.
33. Children should not play with the device, this device is not a game

34. The cleaning and maintenance to be carried out by the user
should not be carried out by the children without supervision.
35. Children under 3 years of age should be kept out of the reach of
the appliance unless they are continuously supervised.
36. CAUTION: Some parts of this product may get very hot and cause

LOCATION AND POSITION.
1. The appliance must be placed at a minimum protection distance

2. The correct position of the device is standing on its support
(vertically).
POWER CORD.
1. Use extension cords approved according to the power plate of
your device.
2. Do not place the cable under the carpet. Do not place carpets,
door mats or other similar items over the cable. Position the
cable so that it cannot trip over it.
3. Never pull on the cord to unplug the appliance.
4. Unplug the appliance when it is not being used.

ASSEMBLY OF THE HEATER.
Fit the separate foot to the radiator by pushing it firmly onto the control
panel and end fin as shown in the diagram. Check the stability of the
heater by standing it on a smooth level surface.

2. Thermostat knob.

OPERATION OF THE HEATER.
NOTE 1:- When the heater is turned on for the first time or after having
not been used for a long period, it may emit some smell and fumes. These
will disappear when the heater has been on a short while.
1. Choose a suitable location for the heater, taking into account the
safety instructions above.
2. Insert the plug of the heater into a suitable socket.
3. Turn the thermostat knob fully in a clockwise direction to the
maximum setting.
4. Turn on the heating element by means of the rocker. When the
heating element is on the power switch will illuminate.
5. When the desired room temperature has been reached, the
thermostat knob should be turned slowly anti-clockwise until the
thermostat is heard to click off and the light on the power switch is
seen to go out. After this the heater will keep the air temperature
in the room at the set temperature by switching on and off
automatically.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
• The radiator must be unplugged from the electric current.
• If it has been on, wait for it to cool before cleaning it.
• Clean the appliance with a slightly dampened cloth.
• Never use abrasive or flammable products to clean the
appliance.
• Never immerse the radiator in water.
• Clean the grilles with a duster, brush or vacuum cleaner.
• If you are not going to use the radiator for a long period of time,
• Store it in a cool, dry place where it does not pick up dirt or dust.
• Always store in vertical position.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS.
1. This appliance is covered against any factory defects.
2. The device is changed for a new one as long as it is within the change
period and is returned with all accessories and packaging in good
condition.
3. The guarantee will be valid as long as the appliance is accompanied by
your invoice or purchase ticket where the exact device and model, or
your warranty card duly completed and sealed, is reflected.
4. THE APPLIANCE WILL BE EXEMPT FROM WARRANTY WHEN:
4.1. The appliance has signs of knocks and / or falls.
4.2. The appliance shows signs of misuse.
4.3. The appliance has signs of overuse.
4.4. The appliance is improperly handled.
4.5. No supporting document. (Card, ticket or invoice).
4.6. The appliance has not been used in accordance with the
instructions for use.

This appliance should not be put in to the domestic garbage at the
end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for
there cycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This
