Peladora de precisión para bra / Precision stripper for bre optics

Le adjuntamos algunas sugerencias para
ayudarle a utilizar de forma segura y e -
ciente esta herramienta.
1. Use siempre gafas de seguridad cuan-
do trabaje con bra óptica.
2. Retire el bloqueo de seguridad de la
herramienta.
3. El ori cio de corte más grande (situado
en la punta de la herramienta) posee
un diámetro de 1 mm. Este ori cio se
puede utilizar para pelar diferentes
protecciones de bra óptica.
4. El ori cio de corte más pequeño (situado cerca del eje de la herramienta) per-
mite pelar bras de 900 micras.
5. Procedimiento:
a) Inserte la bra en el ori cio pequeño de la herramienta (preferentemente
introduzca la bra en diagonal, de forma que quede mas elevada por la
parte izquierda de la herramienta que por la parte derecha), g. 1 y 2.
b) Cierre la herramienta ligeramente con la bra introducida hasta que apoye
sobre la funda de la bra (pero sin llegar al n del recorrido de la herra-
mienta), g. 2
c) Sostenga con rmeza la herramienta. Tire por la misma lateralmente re-
tirando así la protección de la bra de 900 micras y quedando a la vista
la bra con su recubrimiento 250 micras (aplique una presión constante
mientras tira), g. 3.
d) Repita el paso “c”, pero ahora cierre la herramienta de todo para eliminar
el recubrimiento y dejar así al aire la bra óptica de 125 micras, g. 4 y 5.
e) Tras retirar la protección de la bra, elimine cualquier residuo que haya
quedado en la herramienta. Si no se limpia, la herramienta romperá la bra
en el siguiente pelado. Puede proceder a dicha limpieza con un cepillo de
cerdas suaves, g. 6.

1. Always wear safety glasses when
working with bre optics.
2. Remove the lockdown of the tool.
3. The larger cut hole (located at the top
of the tool) has a diameter of 1mm.
This hole can be used for stripping
di erent bre optics protections.
4. The smaller cut hole (located near the
axis of the tool) can strip bres of 900
μm.
5. Procedure:
a) Place the bre into the slot corresponding to the small cutting hole, trying
to form a small angle with respect to the cutting plane of the tool, see
picture 1 and 2.
b) Close the tool lightly with the bre inserted until it rests on the sheath
of the bre (but not reaching the end of the tool), as shown in picture 2.
c) Hold the tool rmly. Pull it sideways in order to remove the 900 μm sheath
of the bre and leaving visible the bre and its coating of 250 μm. Apply a
constant pressure while pulling (picture 3).
d) Repeat step “c”, but now close the tool completely to remove the coating
and thus leaving the bre optics of 125 μm free (Pictures 4 and 5).
e) After removing the bre’s coating, clean any residue that might be left on
the tool. If not cleaned, the tool will break the bre in the next stripping.
You can clean it with a soft bristle brush (picture 6).
