WHAT IS COVERED

The manufacturer warrants this unit to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to be

defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s

discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modiﬁcations, alterations, neglect, or mishandling.

This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, setup, or used in any way not in accordance with the

instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse,

negligence, alteration, faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship.

This warranty shall not apply to the ﬁnish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear

Installing the xture

Thread the lamp body (H) onto the shade (I).

Thread the tube (G) onto the lamp body (H).

Adjust the chain (E) length by removing links at a point best

suited for the location and required distance from the ceiling.

Installing the bulb and diffuser

Uses (3) standard bulbs up to 60 watts or CFL or LED equivalent

(not included).

DO NOT EXCEED RECOMMENDED WATTAGE.

Remove the preassembled nial (II), cover (HH), hex nut (GG) and

rubber washer (FF) from the support stem (EE).

Thread the support stem (EE) onto the bottom of the socket.

Raise the diffuser (J) (the smooth side of the glass diffuser faces

oor) over the threaded tube, against the metal tabs in the

shade (I), secure with previously removed rubber washer (FF)

and hex nut (GG). Hand tighten only. Place the cover (HH) over

threaded tube, secure with the nial (II).

Carefully unpack and lay all parts on a clean, level surface.

Open the rst quicklink of the chain (E) and remove the

preassembled screw collar (C) from the chain (E).

Cut off the copper ground wire at the point closest to the lamp

and discard it.

Mark the location of the hook (DD) on the ceiling and drill a

5/8 in. hole at each mark.

Insert the buttery nut (CC) through the hole.

Thread the metal hook (DD) into the buttery nut (CC) until

secure.

Hanging the lamp to the ceiling

Attach the chain (E) to the metal hook (DD) as shown in the illustration.

The hooks are to engage the chain only and not the

electric cord.

NOTE:

Insert the plug into an electrical outlet and use the cord switch

to turn the lamp on and off.

NOTE:

The hook (DD) should be used for standard installation

into drywall, drop ceiling or suspended ceiling applications.

Make the connections to a 120V AC 60Hz circuit.

NOTE:

Carefully unpack and lay all parts on a clean, level surface.

Open the rst quicklink and remove the preassembled chain (E)

from the screw collar (C), unscrew the canopy nut (D) and detach

the mounting bracket (A).

Install the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box (not

included) with two junction box screws (AA).

Thread the screw the collar (C) onto the preassembled tube on

the mounting bracket (A) and secure with the preassembled

hex nut.

Thread the lamp body (H) onto the shade (I).

Thread the tube (G) onto the lamp body (H).

Adjust the chain (E) length by removing links at a point best

suited for the location and required distance from the ceiling.

Cut off the cord and copper grounding conductor at least 12 in.

beyond the end of the chain (E).

Attach the chain (E) through the canopy nut (D) and

the canopy (B) to the screw collar (C).

Weave the wires through the chain links (E) every 3 inches, the

canopy nut (D), the canopy (B) and the screw collar (C)

into the junction box.

Connect the cord with the ribbed surface to the white wire of the

supply circuit. Connect the half with the markings and smooth

surface to the black wire of the supply circuit. Connect the bare

copper grounding wire from the xture, to the green screw on the

mounting bracket and the grounding conductor of the supply

circuit. Use U.L./CSA Listed wire connectors (BB) suitable for the

size, type and number of conductors. No loose strands or loose

connections should be present. Secure wire connectors (BB) with

U.L./CSA Listed electrical tape.

Secure the canopy (B) to the ceiling with the

canopy nut (D).

Installing the bulb and diffuser

Instalación de la luminaria

Enrosque el cuerpo de la lámpara (H) en la pantalla (I).

Enrosque el vástago (G) en el cuerpo de la lámpara (H).

Quite los eslabones de la cadena (E) que sean necesarios para

ajustarla al largo que sea más conveniente para la ubicación y la

distancia requerida del techo.

Instalación de la bombilla y el difusor

Usa (3) bombillas estándar de hasta 60 W o CFL, o LED

equivalente (no incluidas).

NO EXCEDA EL VATAJE MÁXIMO RECOMENDADO.Retire el

Retire el remate (II), la cubierta (HH), tuerca hexagonal(GG) y

arandela de plástico (FF) previamente montados en el vástago

de soporte (EE).

Enrosque el vástago de soporte (EE) a la parte inferior del

portalámparas.

Eleve el difusor (J) (el lado liso del difusor de vidrio debe mirar

hacia el piso) tubo roscable, contra las lengüetas de metal de la

pantalla (I), y asegurar con la arandela de plástico previamente

retirada (FF) y la tuerca hexagonal (GG). Ajuste sólo con la mano.

Ponga la cubierta (HH) sobre el tubo roscable ,

y asegure con el remate (II).

Desembale con cuidado todas las piezas y colóquelas sobre

una supercie limpia y plana.

Abra el primer eslabón desmontable de la cadena (E) y retire el

aro roscable (C) previamente montado de la cadena (E).

CCorte el hilo de cobre de conexión a tierra en el punto más

cercano a la lámpara y deséchelo.

Marque la ubicación del gancho (DD) del techo y perfore un

oricio de 5/8 pulg. (1,5 cm) en el centro de cada marca.

Inserte la tuerca mariposa (CC) en el oricio.

Enrosque el gancho de metal (DD) en la tuerca mariposa (CC)

hasta que quede bien rme.

Para colgar la lámpara al techo

Enganche la cadena (E) al ganchos de metal (DD) como aparece

ilustrado.

Los ganchos deben sólo hacer contacto con la cadena

y no el cable eléctrico.

NOTA:

Inserte el enchufe en una toma de corriente y use el interruptor para

encender y apagar la lámpara.

NOTA: El gancho (DD) debería ser utilizado para la instalación

estándar en tabiquería seca, techos falsos o aplicaciones

colgantes en techos.

Haga las conexiones a un circuito de 120V AC 60Hz.

NOTA:

Desembale con cuidado todas las piezas y colóquelas sobre una

supercie limpia y plana.

Abra el primer eslabón desmontable y retire la cadena (E)

previamente montada en el aro roscable (C), destornille la

tuerca de la cubierta (D) y separe el soporte de montaje (A).

Ajuste el soporte de montaje (A) a la caja de empalme

(no incluida) con los dos tornillos de la caja de empalme (AA).

Enrosque el aro roscable (C) en el vástago previamente montado

en el soporte de montaje (A) y ajústelo con la tuerca hexagonal

previamente montada.

Enrosque el cuerpo de la lámpara (H) en la pantalla (I).

Enrosque el vástago (G) en el cuerpo de la lámpara (H).

Quite los eslabones de la cadena (E) que sean necesarios para

ajustarla al largo que sea más conveniente para la ubicación y la

distancia requerida del techo.

Corte el cable y el hilo de cobre de conexión a tierra a un largo mínimo

de 12 pulg. (30,5 cm) más que el largo de la cadena (E).

Inserte la cadena (E) por la tuerca de la cubierta (D) y la

cubierta (B) para engancharla al aro roscable (C).

Pase los hilos por los eslabones de la cadena (E) cada 3 pulgadas

(aprox. 8 cm), la tuerca de la cubierta (D), la cubierta (B) y el aro

roscable (C) hasta llegar a la caja de empalme.

Conecte el hilo con la supercie acanalada al hilo blanco del

circuito de alimentación. Conecte el hilo con marcas y supercie

lisa al hilo negro del circuito de alimentación. Conecte el hilo de

cobre pelado para conexión a tierra de la luminaria al tornillo

verde del soporte de montaje y al conductor de tierra del circuito

de alimentación. Utilice conectores de hilo (BB) aprobados por

U.L./CSA adecuados para el tamaño, tipo y número de

conductores. No deberían quedar hilos o conexiones sueltos.

Asegure los conectores de hilo (BB) con cinta aislante aprobada

por U.L./CSA.

Asegure la cubierta (B) al techo con la

tuerca de la cubierta (D).
