12.Power-Cord Protection-Power-supply cords should be
routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or
pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying par-
ticular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles,
and tile point where they exit from tile appliance.

charges. Article 810 of the National Electrical Code,

grounding of tbe lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit,
size of gro_mding conductors, location of antenna-discharge
_mit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements

14.Lightning-For added protection for this TV/DVD receiver

The screen saver program starts when there is no input
from the player for five minutes in the stop mode. When
the screen saver program is activated for 30 minutes, the

You can select a desired language for the display subtitles,
if that language is available on a disc.
Selecting a camera angle
You can select the desired camera angle, if a disc contains
sequences recorded from different angles.
Choices for audio language and sound mode
You can select the desired audio language and sound
mode, if different languages and modes are available on a
disc.
Parental lock
You can set the control level to limit playback of discs
which may not be suitable for children.
Automatic detection of discs
_fis player automatically detects if a loaded disc is DVD
or audio CD.
On-screen display
Information about the current operation can be displayed
on a TV screen, allowing you to confirm the currently
active functions (such as program playback), on the TV
screen using the remote control.

PREPARATION FOR USE

The VHF/UHF Rod Antenna (not supplied) is detachable, Insert the slem of Ihe anlenna into the hole on the
upper-back portion of the TV/DVD. Connect the VHFiUHF Rod Anlenna or VHF/UHF Combination Antenna

del mend aparezca en la pantalla del televisor.
2) Pulse el bot6n de flecha o •para apuntar a
"CANALES PROGRAMADOS". Luego pulse el
bot6n de flecha It.,*.
3) Pulse el bot6n de flecha o •para apuntar a
"AIqAD|RiBORRAR". Luego pulse el bot6n de
flecha Its.
4) Utilice el bot6n de tlecha o pars seleccionar
el canal que desee memorizar o borrar de la
memoria.
NOTA: La visualizaci6n volverfi a la pantalla en
unos 10 segundos. Realice la funci6n
"ANAD|R/BORRAR" mientras aparece la
visualizaci6n en la pantalla,
Pulse el bot6n de flecha _ o _1 para encender el
ndmero de canal en AZUL CLARe si us/ed desea
afiadir el canal a la memoria,
Pulse el bot6n de flecha _ o _1 pars encender el
ndmero de canal en ROJO CLARe si us/ed desea
borrar el canal a la memoria.

Conec/e la alimentacidn del lelevisor, amplificador y
cualquier otro components que es/d conectado al
reproductor DVD. (Cambie el sis/ema de entrada para
adaptarlo al reproductor DVD, y compruebe que el
