Phone Setup

1. Remove back cover by gently pulling up on the indentation

on the bottom left of the cover.

2. Insert the nano SIM card and microSD™ card* with gold

contacts facing down.

3. Ensure that nano SIM and microSD

cards have been

properly secured.

4. Put the back cover on.

Navigating your phone

•Use your fingertip to tap the screen.

•Use quick ﬂicks of your ﬁnger on the

touch screen to swipe up, down, left, or

right.

•Tap Back to return to the previous

screen.

•Tap Home at any time to return to

•Tap Recent apps to access recently

viewed apps.

Notification panel

To access alerts, including new messages,

emails, and software updates:

•From the top of the home screen, drag

your ﬁnger down to view the notification

top of the screen again and drag down

to see the Quick Settings menu.

Set wallpaper

•To change your home or lock screen

wallpaper, touch and hold a blank

part of the home screen and tap

WALLPAPERS.

•Select a wallpaper and tap Set

both. You can also tap My photos for

additional options.

Add to home screen

•To add app shortcuts, swipe up to

access applications, press and hold

the desired app, and drag it to the

Organize home screens

•To move an app shortcut, press and hold

it and then drag it to a new location. To

delete it, drag it on top of X Remove at

the top of the screen.

•To create a folder, press and hold an

app shortcut and drag it on top of

another, then release.

•To rename a folder, press the folder title

to type a new name.

Calls and Voicemail

Make a call

1. From the home screen, tap Phone.

2. Type a name or phone number, or select one of the

following options:

: To manually enter a phone number.

: To choose from frequently called contacts.

: To choose from a list of people who you have

recently called or have called you.

: To make a call from your contacts list.

Check voicemail

1. From the home screen, tap Phone, then tap

2. Press and hold the 1 key.

Call waiting

Call waiting allows you to answer a second call while

putting your existing call on hold. While on a call, you will

hear a tone if another call comes in.

: To answer the incoming call.

: To switch between active calls.

: To merge calls.

: To end a call.

Text and picture messaging

Send a text message

1. From the home screen, tap

Messaging.

2. Tap New message button to start a

new text message.

3. In the To field, enter a number or a

contact name, or select a contact from

Favorites or All Contacts.

4. Tap the Type message field and enter

your message.

5. Tap to send the message.

Send a picture message

1. Follow steps 1-4 above.

2. Tap the Paper Clip.

3. Tap Picture and select desired

picture or tap the Camera icon to

take a picture to attach.

4. Tap to send the message.

Gmail setup

1. From the home screen, tap Google,

then tap Gmail.

2. Enter your email address and tap

NEXT and enter your password and then

tap NEXT again.

3. Confirm email account settings and tap

NEXT.

4. Enter your name which will be displayed

on outgoing mails, and then tap

NEXT.

Create and send an email message

1. From the home screen, tap Google,

then tap Gmail.

2. To compose a new message, tap .

3. Tap the To field and enter email address

or name.

4. Enter a subject and email message.

5. To attach files to the email message,

tap the Paper Clip icon and make

your selection.

6. Tap Send icon to send the message.

Camera and video

Take a picture or make a video

1. From the home screen, tap Camera .

2. Zoom in and out by pinching with your

fingers.

3. Tap the Shutter or press the

Volume Key to take a photo.

4. In Video mode, tap Record to

start recording. Tap it again to stop

recording.

5. Take a photo while in Video mode by

tapping Shutter .

Modes and settings

Slide left or right on the camera screen to switch between

modes.

•Filter

Tap Filter to apply real-time filters to your photos.

•Pano

Tap Pano to capture a panoramic photo. Tap the shutter

button and move the phone steadily along in the direction

indicated on the screen. The photo will be saved when

all the slots are filled, or when pressing the shutter button

again.

Configuración del teléfono

1. Retira la tapa trasera levantando suavemente en la

hendidura que se encuentra en el ángulo inferior izquierdo

de la tapa.

2. Inserta la tarjeta nano SIM y la tarjeta microSD™* con los

contactos dorados hacia abajo.

3. Verifica que ambas tarjetas estén colocadas

correctamente.

4. Coloca nuevamente la tapa trasera.

Para explorar tu teléfono

•Toca la pantalla con el dedo.

•Haz movimientos rápidos para

desplazarte de forma horizontal o

vertical.

•Toca Atrás para volver a la pantalla

anterior.

•Toca Inicio en cualquier momento

para volver a la pantalla principal.

•Toca Aplicaciones recientes para ver

las aplicaciones que usaste hace poco.

•Desliza tu dedo hacia arriba para tener

Panel de notificaciones

Para ver avisos de nuevos mensajes, correos y

actualizaciones de software, entre otros:

•Desde la parte superior de la pantalla

principal, arrastra el dedo hacia abajo

para ver el panel de notificaciones.

•Desliza el dedo horizontalmente hacia

la derecha o la izquierda para borrar

cada notificación individualmente, o

bien toca CLEAR ALL (borrar todas) para

•Con el panel de notificaciones abierto,

toca nuevamente la parte superior de la

pantalla y desliza el dedo hacia abajo

para ver el menú de configuración rápida.

Personalización

Para establecer el fondo de pantalla

•Para cambiar el fondo de la pantalla

principal o de bloqueo, toca por unos

segundos un sector libre de la pantalla

principal y luego, toca FONDOS DE

PANTALLA.

•Elige una imagen y toca Establecer

como fondo de pantalla para

seleccionarla. Luego, indica si quieres

que aparezca en la pantalla de

bloqueo, en la pantalla principal o en

ambas. También puedes tocar Mis

fotos para ver opciones adicionales.

Para añadir elementos a la pantalla principal

•Para añadir accesos directos de las aplicaciones, desliza

tu dedo hacia arriba para ver las aplicaciones, mantén

oprimida la aplicación que quieres añadir y arrástrala

hacia la pantalla principal.

Para organizar las pantallas principales

•Para mover el acceso directo de una

aplicación, mantenlo oprimido y luego

deslízalo hacia la nueva ubicación. Para

eliminarlo, arrástralo hasta X Quitar en la

parte superior de la pantalla.

•Para crear una carpeta, mantén

oprimido por unos segundos el acceso

directo de una aplicación, deslízalo

encima de otro y luego, suéltalo.

•Para cambiar el nombre de una

carpeta, oprime el título de la carpeta y

escribe el nombre nuevo.

Llamadas y correo de voz

Para hacer una llamada

1. Desde la pantalla principal, toca Teléfono.

2. Escribe el nombre o el número de teléfono, o bien

Para revisar el correo de voz

1. Desde la pantalla principal, toca Teléfono y luego,

toca .

2. Mantén oprimida la tecla 1.

Llamada en espera

La llamada en espera te permite contestar una segunda

llamada mientras pones en espera la llamada en curso. Si

estás hablando y recibes otra llamada, oirás un tono.

: para contestar una llamada entrante.

: para alternar entre las llamadas activas.

: para combinar las llamadas.

: para terminar una llamada.

Mensajes de texto y con fotos

Para enviar un mensaje de texto

1. Desde la pantalla principal, toca

Mensajes.

2. Toca el botón Mensaje nuevo para

3. En el campo Para, escribe un número o

un nombre de contacto, o selecciónalo

desde la lista de Favoritos o de Todos

los contactos.

4. Toca el campo Type message (escribir

mensaje) y escribe tu mensaje.

5. Toca para enviar el mensaje.

Para enviar un mensaje con fotos

1. Sigue los pasos 1 a 4.

2. Toca el sujetapapeles.

3. Toca Imágenes y elige la que

quieras enviar, o toca el ícono

de la cámara para tomar una foto y

adjuntarla.

Correo electrónico

Configuración de Gmail

1. Desde la pantalla principal, toca

Google y luego, toca Gmail.

2. Ingresa tu dirección de correo

electrónico y toca SIGUIENTE. Ingresa

tu contraseña y luego toca SIGUIENTE

3. Confirma la configuración de la cuenta

Para alternar entre los diferentes modos de la cámara,

Toca Filtro para usar filtros en tiempo real en tus fotos.

•Panorámica

Toca Panorámica para tomar una foto panorámica. Toca

el botón del disparador y mueve el teléfono sujetándolo

con firmeza en la dirección que se te indique en la

pantalla. La foto se guardará cuando hayas completado

la secuencia de imágenes o si vuelves a oprimir el botón

del disparador.
