Ŷ Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot-water system that has not been used for

period, before using a washing machine, turn on all hot-water faucets and let the water flow from each for
several minutes. This will release any accumulated hydrogen gas. As the gas is flammable, DO NOT smoke
or use an open flame during this time.
Ŷ DO NOT allow children to play on or in this appliance. Close supervision of children is necessary when this
appliance is used near children. Before the washer is removed from service or discarded, remove the door or
lid. Failure to follow these instructions may result in death or injury to persons.

Ŷ DO NOT install or store this appliance where it will be exposed to the weather.

PROPER INSTALLATION
This washer must be properly installed and located in accordance with the Installation Instructions before it is used.
Ŷ Ensure that the hot water hose is connected to the “H” valve and the cold water hose is connected to the “C”
valve.
Ŷ Install or store where it will not be exposed to temperatures below freezing or exposed to the weather, which
could cause permanent damage and invalidate the warranty.
Ŷ Properly ground washer to conform with all governing codes and ordinances. Follow details in the Installation
Instructions.
Ŷ Ensure washer is properly leveled and washer legs are adjusted such that unit is stable.

Optional drain hose extension recommended for discharging heights from 60” - 96”.
Ŷ GE Appliances strongly recommends the use of factory specified parts. A list of factory hoses available for
purchase are listed. These hoses are manufactured and tested to meet GE Appliances specifications.
Ŷ GE Appliances strongly recommends the use of new water inlet hoses. Hoses degrade over time and need to
be replaced every 3 to 5 years to reduce the risk of hose failures and water damage.

WHEN NOT IN USE
Ŷ Turn off water faucets to minimize leakage if a break or rupture should occur. Check the condition of the fill
hoses; GE Appliances recommends changing the hoses every 3 to 5 years.

Appliance Communication
SmartHQ Management App (For customers in the United States only)
SmartHQ Management is an application that guides the owner
through the appliance connection and setup process in the
SmartHQ Management Portal. The owner will use the mobile
application to commission devices to their WiFi network, assign
location, and set unique names to help with identification of units.
To get started:
1) Go to www.geappliances.com/commerciallaundry
2) Click “CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT”.
3) Follow the instructions to set up your account and connect your
appliance to WiFi.
NOTE: Without this step, you will not be able to run app cycles.

WiFi Label Location
Launderday Mobile App
Launderday is a mobile application that allows consumers to reserve machines by scanning the QR code located
on the unit. Once a machine is reserved, the user can use the app to view prices, pay for cycles, receive cycle
notifications, and check cycle/transaction history. Scanning the QR code on the machine directs the consumer to
download the app. Alternatively, Launderday can be found and downloaded directly from App Store for iOS devices and
from Google Play for Android devices.
NOTE: The unit must be connected to WiFi before the QR code is enabled and the app can be used.

USING THE WASHER
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read the IMPORTANT SAFETY
INFORMATION before operating this appliance.
WARNING
Quick Start:
Throughout this manual, features and appearance may vary from your model.
Step 1
Scan the QR code or insert coin(s). NOTE: App Pay
requires the unit to be connected to WiFi. Refer to the
Appliance Communication section and follow the proper
steps to connect your appliance prior to scanning the QR
code. The App Pay cycle price can be adjusted from the
SmartHQ Management portal. The default Coin Pay cycle
price is $00.00. Refer to the Administration Mode
section (Registers 36-42) to set the price for the Coin
Pay cycles.
Step 2
Load garments into the machine and close the door. Do
NOT overload the washer. See Loading in the Using the
Washer section.
Step 3
Add liquid detergent, bleach, and fabric softener as
recommended on the product label. Do not fill liquid bleach
and softener above the “MAX” level line.
After adding laundry products, slowly close the dispenser
drawer. Closing the drawer too quickly could result in early
dispensing of the bleach, fabric softener, or detergent.
You may see water in the dispenser compartments at the
end of the cycle. This is a result of the flushing/siphoning
action and is part of the normal operation of the washer.
NOTE: Do NOT put
detergent packets in the

On coin-operated models, a different price can be charged for each cycle, and an additional price can be programmed
for each of the two option buttons. For connected/App Pay units, pricing is changed in the portal. See Administrator
Mode in the Using the Washer section.
Wash Cycles
The washer offers four standard wash cycles. The basic wash cycles are Cold, Warm, Hot, and Delicate.
The Cold, Warm and Hot wash cycles are comprised of three segments. These cycles begin with the main
wash which fills to the LOW water level. The water level and duration of the main wash can be adjusted
using the washer’s Administrator Mode. The main wash water temperature is cold in the COLD cycle, warm
in the WARM cycle, and hot in the HOT cycle. The main wash fills through the detergent compartment of the
detergent drawer. Approximately half way through the main wash, the bleach compartment of the detergent
dispenser is flushed.
The washer drains following the main wash and refills to the HIGH water level for each of the two cold water
rinses that complete the basic cycles. Each rinse is followed by a drain and spin cycle. The final rinse flushes
the softener compartment of the dispenser.
NOTE: Heavy Soil and Extra Rinse options cannot be used with the Delicate cycle.

Options
The optional features are Heavy Soil and Extra Rinse. The options can be added to the basic wash cycles
(except for Delicate), in any combination.
The Heavy Soil option adds a prewash to the cycle. Heavy Soil is not available when the Delicate cycle is
selected.
The Extra Rinse option adds one additional cold water rinse to the wash cycle. Extra Rinse is not available when
the Delicate cycle is selected. The extra rinse repeats the second-to-last rinse. If a second rinse cycle is desired,
refer to Administrator Mode and Register Address for Parameters Setting in the Using the washer section.

Start - Press to start the wash load.
Pause - While washer is running, press Start/Pause button. The washer will pause the cycle and go into a
pause state. During this time:
• All loads are turned off.
• LED display will show remaining cycle time blinking in one second intervals.
• Machine will transition to “Idle” state and time out four minutes after door is unlocked.
• If LED displays “lock” this means the washer was paused with water in it and the door cannot be opened.
• Press Start/Pause button again to resume the wash cycle.
NOTE: If the machine is paused for more than 4 minutes, the unit will automatically drain, and return to standby
mode. At this point, the cycle selection and payment process must be repeated in order use the machine again.

HE (High Efficiency) Detergent and How the Washer Functions with Over
Sudsing Conditions
Your washer is a high efficiency front loading washer. It was specifically designed to use less water than top loading
washers while achieving very high quality laundering results. However, highly efficient front loading washers with
laboratory verified water levels can still experience over sudsing if regular detergent (liquid or powder) is used,
especially if too much detergent is used. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND using low sudsing detergent that is clearly
marked “HE” and that no more than 1/4 cup be used for a full load.
Bubbles and white suds do NOT clean clothes; in fact, excess suds are difficult to fully rinse away and may remain in
clothes at the end of the wash cycle. Detergent that is not rinsed away can irritate skin and cause changes to clothing
color when heated in a dryer.
We have implemented a proprietary software algorithm in this washer to help distinguish between over suds and
clogged pump strainer basket conditions. Generally, this washer will complete a wash cycle even if a moderate over
sudsing or out-of-balance condition is experienced. When the washer detects over suds, it will automatically add
water to the rinse cycle to remove suds. This will increase the running time of the cycle, which is normal. Excessive
over sudsing, a clogged pump strainer basket (due to accumulated lint and debris), or an extremely out-of-balance
load are conditions which may cause a wash cycle to not finish and an error code to be displayed.
If the wash cycle does not complete or you see an error code, the software is performing properly to protect the
washer from abnormal operating conditions. If necessary, from the lower left front of the washer carefully remove
the pump strainer basket to clean it out according to the instructions in this manual. Refer to Pump Filter in the
Preventive Maintenance section. Be careful to wait for any hot water in the drum to cool to a safe temperature before
removing the strainer since some water will be released.

Power Interruptions
Occasionally there may be power interruptions due to thunderstorms or other causes. Following a power outage,
the machine will resume operation at the point where it was when the power failed. During a power failure, the door
will remain LOCKED until the power returns and the cycle finishes. If necessary, the door can be opened with the
Emergency Door Unlock feature.

Make sure that the water level inside the drum is not too high. Proceed with emergency
drain, if necessary. See Pump Filter section in the Preventative Maintenance / Care &
Cleaning section.

To unlock and open the door:
1. Disconnect the main plug from the main outlet.
2.
Remove the lower front panel by removing its two
lower mounting screws.
3. Pull down twice on the emergency unlock rope.
4.
Open the washer door, remove laundry and close the
door.
5. Reattach the lower front panel with its two screws.
6. Reconnect the main plug into the main outlet.
Disconnect power supply before servicing. Replace all parts and panels before operating. Failure to do so can result
in death or electrical shock.

Administrator Mode
With Administrator Mode, the administrator can check cycle parameters, adjust cycle parameters, and manage coin
pricing.
Two methods to enter Administrator Mode:
Method 1
Hold down Cold and Heavy Soil at the same time for 10 seconds and listen for the chime sound as you enter
Administrator Mode. While entering the Administrator Mode a 4 digit password is required to enter next step. The
display will show “0000” at the beginning. Each press of the Cold button will increase the first digit from “0” to “9” and
repeating. Each press of the Warm button will increase the second digit from “0” to “9” and repeating. Each press of
the Hot button will increase the third digit from “0” to “9” and repeating. Each press of the Delicate button will increase
the fourth digit from “0” to “9” and repeating. Once the 4 digits are ready, press the Start/Pause button to confirm. The
default password is 1234.
Method 2
Single press of the Reset button on the board will enter into Administrator Mode. This will not require a pin. The location
of the Reset button is shown on page 13.
Exit the Administrator Mode by pressing the Reset button again, pressing and holding Cold and Heavy Soil at the
same time for 10 seconds.
View and Edit Administrator Parameters in Administrator Mode:
After entering Administrator Mode, register address “Ad” will flash in the display and register “00” will be the first accessible
register. LEDs above push buttons will blink when a button is available for activating a function or changing a value.
How to Navigate Parameter Registers:
The Heavy Soil (step down) and Extra Rinse (step up) buttons will be used to navigate the different register
addresses. Pressing and holding either of these buttons will result in an increasingly-faster decrement or increment
of the register address (without beep for repeated steps). Register numbers that are not assigned a function may be
skipped over when navigating.
How to View and Edit a Parameter:
When a register address is selected, press Start/Pause button, the display will show the register contents, and the
Cold, Warm, Hot and Delicate buttons will be used to set the value of the 4 digit parameters. After setup of the
parameters, press the Start/Pause button to save the new value and return to Register Navigation Mode. For values,
the button corresponding to the display digit where the value is shown will toggle the value 0 / 1 / 0 / 1 etc.
If the register value is “read only“ the Cold, Warm, Hot and Delicate lights will be off and presses of the buttons will
emit an invalid sound (ding-ding). If register contents are editable, LEDs above the buttons that can be used to edit
the register will flash.
Machine Usage Registers
Registers 00-07 track the number of operating hours the unit has run for a given cycle or combination of cycles.
Register 09 will count amount earned from 0-99.75. Once the unit collects $100, register 08 will be incremented by 1
(where 1 represents $100).

Machine Error Code Registers
When an error code appears on the SSD, it will be saved to register 14, the next time an error code appears, the
previously saved value in register 14 will be moved to 13, and the most recent time stamp will be recorded in 14.
So, registers 14-10 are used record the previous error codes, in reverse chronological order.

Coin Box Time Stamp Registers (Time in 24-hour format)
The unit can save up to five recent coin box opening time stamps. When the coin box is inserted into the vault for
at least 60 seconds, a CBC (Coin Box Closed) flag will be set in memory. When the coin box is removed from the
vault, and the coin box switch opens for at least 2 seconds, the value of the real time clock will be read and saved
to register 15, the next time the coin box is removed, the previously saved value in register 15 will be moved to 16,
and the most recent time stamp will be recorded in 15. So registers 15-19 are used to record the previous five coin
box openings, in chronological order.

If the PIN is forgotten, use the Reset button to enter administrator mode and then reset the PIN.

00=Cold, 01=Warm, 02=Hot, 03=Delicate, 04=all cycles
Press Start/Pause button and Hot and Delicate LEDs will blink. Select a value identifying the DAY(S) ‘D’ for which
the promotion will be active, as follows:
0 = this promotion inactive, 1 = Sunday, 2 = Monday, ... 7 = Saturday, 8 = Every day, 9 = Monday-Friday only,
A = Saturday and Sunday only.
Press Start/Pause (hh.mm is displayed and Cold/Warm/Hot/Delicate LEDs will blink)

Use Cold/Warm buttons to set desired hour value (00-23) and use Hot/Delicate buttons to set desired minute value (.00-.59).
Press Start/Pause (display returns to the register number 72).

Once the QR code is scanned, the user can select a cycle on the
unit and pay for the cycle in the mobile app. Flashes: “see app”.
When the payment is done successfully the selected cycle LED will
be turned on and the Start/Pause button will start flashing to guide
the user to press the button to start the washing cycle.
Cycle time.
After the door is closed, press Start/Pause to start cycle. Remaining cycle time.
Coin Pay
In standby state, the cycle LED indicator is on, cycle selection
button is valid and the Start/Pause button is invalid.

turn on.

The Reset button has two functions:
1) To enter Administrator Mode. Press the Reset button once. Pressing the Reset button again will allow you to exit
the Administrator Mode. Changes made to registers during this time will be saved after exiting Administrator Mode
using the Reset button.
2) To reset the washer to factory settings. Press and hold the Reset button for at least 6 seconds. NOTE: All
parameter settings in Administrator Mode will be restored to default factory settings. The parameters will be reset to
Multipay Mode (Coin and App) and coin payment pricing will default to zero. The password will be restored to 1234.
The Reset button is located on the back of the user interface board.
To access the Reset button:
1) Remove the dispenser drawer by pulling it out until it stops.
2) Using a tool such as a long screwdriver, press down firmly on
the locking tab located at the rear of the dispenser drawer and
pull the dispenser drawer out.
3) Remove the two screws that are holding the control panel, slide
the control panel to the left and pull it outward.

USING THE WASHER
Your washer is equipped with Consumer Help Indicator (CHI). CHI is our way to communicate a simple remedy
for some situations that you can perform without the need to call for service. The chart below describes the helpful
messages you may notice scrolling on your display when you return to start another load. These messages will
provide simple remedies you can quickly perform.
“oob” An out-of-balance (oob) condition is detected by washer. When “oob” displays, the machine can
adjust and rebalance the clothes by itself. You do not need to perform
any operation but indicates
that the highest spin speed will not be reached and that
the water content of clothing may be
higher than normal.
“Unb”“Unb” will show on SSD if washer detected a significant unbalance issue in the final spin and it
cannot be resolved through its rebalancing attempts. To clear “Unb”, open the door, redistribute
clothes, and press Start to resume the spin. Once door is opened, there is a 2 minute time limit to
complete redistribution. If the time runs out before the issue is resolved, the unit will go into idle state.
”H2O supply”

Check property water supply. Make sure both water supply valves are turned on. The user can clear
the message by plugging in and out the power supply, and the washer will return to Idle state.
“door” “Door” will show on display if a cycle was attempted to be started when the door was not fully closed.
Fully close the door. “Door” will also show on display if 3 cycles have been started without opening
the door. Washer will not start another cycle until door is opened.
"Lock" "Lock" displays indicating that the door is locked and the door cannot be opened if the user pressed the
Start/Pause button to open the door while the water level in the basket was too high or the basket was
rotating. Wait for the basket to stop and water to pump out.

USING THE WASHER
Loading
Always follow fabric manufacturer’s care label when laundering.
DO NOT wash fabrics soiled with flammable liquids or cleaning solvents.
No washer can completely remove oil.
DO NOT dry anything that has been soaked in or spotted with any type of oil.
DO NOT reach into the washer until all moving parts have stopped.
Doing so can result in death, explosion, fire or amputation.
Sorting Wash Loads
Sort by color (whites, lights, colors), soil level, fabric type (sturdy cottons, easy care, delicates) and whether the
fabric produces lint (terry cloth, chenille) or collects lint (velveteen, corduroy). Wash lint producers such as cotton
towels and socks separate from lint collectors including synthetic garments and dress pants.
Loading the Washer
The wash drum may be fully loaded with loosely added items. NOTE: Down and wool jackets cannot be washed.
To add items after the washer has started, press Start to pause the washer and wait until the door is unlatched. The washer
may take up to 30 seconds to unlock the door after pressing Start, depending on the machine conditions. If there is
water in the washer, the LED may display “Lock”. Do not try to force open the door when it is locked. If door is locked,
users can press the Start/Pause button to pause the cycle. User will need to wait until the water is drained and then
add clothes. After the door unlocks, open it gently. Add items, close the door and press Start/Pause to restart.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE / CARE AND CLEANING
Exterior
Immediately wipe off any spills. Wipe or dust spills or washing compounds with a damp cloth. Clean the washer
with soap and warm water only. Washer control panel and finishes may be damaged by some laundry pretreatment
and stain remover products. Apply these products away from the washer. The fabric may then be washed and dried
normally. Damage to your washer caused by these products is not covered by your warranty. Do not hit surface with
sharp objects.
Interior
Dry around the washer door opening, flexible gasket (including attached hoses) and door glass. These areas should
always be clean to ensure a watertight seal. Inspect all internal hoses, seals and gaskets for signs of leakage. Repair
as necessary. It is recommended to rinse the washer once per month with 1 cup of bleach (or other commercially
available product manufactured for this purpose, such as Tide® Washing Machine Cleaner) poured directly into the
basket without clothes.
Preventative Maintenance
To keep the washer in proper working order, follow the preventive maintenance recommendations provided below.
The maintenance interval should be adjusted according to machine usage or if necessary.
Leave the loading door open when the machine is not in use.
Water Inlet Hoses
Periodically inspect all water inlet hoses for water leaks, wear, cuts, corrosion, and bulges. Replace all hoses immediately
if any sign of these failures appear. All hoses should be replaced every 3 to 5 years of use to reduce risk of hose
failures and possible water damage. When replacing hoses, refer to the Installation Instructions for proper installation.
DO NOT overtighten or cross thread fittings. DO NOT allow the hose to rub against sharp objects, become kinked, or
become over stretched. Always ensure hose rubber gaskets are installed and free from leaks when pressurized.
Disconnect power supply before servicing. Replace all parts and panels before operating. Failure to do so can result
in death or electrical shock.

1. Remove bottom access panel.
2. Locate the drain hose.
3. Place tray under drain hose and let the water drain into the tray.
4. Return drain hose to the upright position.
5. Remove the filter and debris.
6. Rinse the drain filter.
7. Reinsert the drain filter.
8. Close the bottom access panel.
Pump Filter
Due to the nature of the front-load washer, it is sometimes possible for small articles to pass to the pump. The washer
has a filter to capture lost items so they are not dumped to the drain. To retrieve lost items, clean out the pump filter.
Door Gasket
Open the washer door.
Using both hands, press
down on the door gasket.
While holding down the door
gasket, inspect the interior
fold. Remove any foreign
objects if found trapped
inside the gasket.
Make sure there is nothing blocking the
holes under the gasket.
When finished cleaning the door
gasket, release it and the gasket will
return to the operating position.

Dispenser Drawer Area
Detergent and fabric softener may build up in the dispenser drawer. Residue should be removed
once or twice a month or as needed.
• Remove the drawer by first pulling it out until it stops. Using a tool such as a long screwdriver,
press down firmly on the locking tab located at the rear of the drawer and pull the drawer out.
• Rinse the drawer with hot water to remove traces of accumulated laundry products.
• To clean the drawer opening, use a small brush to clean the recess. Remove all residue from
the upper and lower parts of the recess.
• Replace the dispenser drawer.
• To reduce buildup in the dispenser drawer area, use High-Efficiency (HE) detergent only.
Extended Unused Periods
Make sure the water supply valves are shut off. Drain all water from hoses and water filter pump area if ambient
temperature will be below freezing.

Drain Hose Guide
•
Install the washer close to a drain standpipe or floor
drain, and within 4 feet of the water supply spigots.
•
A minimum of 1” (25mm) clearance is recommended
between units if more than one machine is installed
in a row.
•
The floor must be smooth and hard. Do not install the
unit on carpet or other soft material.
• The floor must hold the total weight of the washer
filled with water and a load. The static weight of the
washer is 322 lbs.
•
DO NOT install the washer in an area exposed to
dripping water or outside weather conditions. The
ambient temperature should never be below 60°F
(15.6°C) for proper washer operation.

NOTE: A base cover plate is wrapped in the top of the
packing material. Be careful while handling the bottom
cover.
1. Remove all packing materials. Upon opening of the
package, water drops may be seen on the plastic bag
and the drum. This is a normal phenomenon resulting
from water tests in the factory.
2. Remove anti-scratch film and tape from the washer.
UNPACKING THE WASHER 2 REMOVE SHIPPING HARDWARE
The washer is fitted with shipping hardware to prevent
internal damage during transportation. Shipping hardware
must be removed before using the washer.
1. Unscrew the 4 bolts with a wrench or socket. Remove
the lower 2 bolts first, then the upper two. One of the
bolts retains the power cord of the washer to prevent
operating without removing bolts. Keep the bolts and
sleeves for future use. They can be reinserted if the
unit needs to be transported.
2. After removing the 4 bolts with spacers and horizontal
brackets, release the power cord.
3. Close the 4 holes with the caps on the back of the
unit.
Recycle or destroy the carton and
plastic bags after the washer is
unpacked. Make materials inaccessible to children.
Children might use them for play. Cartons covered
with rugs, bedspreads or plastic sheets can become
airtight chambers causing suffocation.
WARNING
1. Lay the package carton on the floor.
2. Slowly and carefully lay the washer onto its back on
the package carton.
3. Install base cover underneath unit by placing the
cover over the opening on the bottom and attaching
screws before operating.
Failure to do so can result in serious injury.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
CIRCUIT – Individual, properly polarized and grounded
15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse.
POWER SUPPLY – 2 wire plus ground, 120 Volt, single
phase, 60 Hz, alternating current.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of
malfunction or breakdown, grounding will reduce the risk
of electric shock by providing a path of least resistance
for electric current. This appliance is equipped with a
cord having an equipment- grounding conductor and
a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an
appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded
in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Improper connection of the equipment-
grounding conductor can result in a
risk of electrical shock. Check with a qualified electrician,
or service representative or personnel, if you are in
doubt as to whether the appliance is properly grounded.
DO NOT modify the plug on the power supply cord. If it
will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a
qualified electrician.

DRAIN REQUIREMENTS
All inlet connections to the washer should be fitted
with manual shut-off valves and filters to facilitate
installation and servicing. The faucets MUST be
3/4” (1.9 cm) garden hose-type so inlet hoses can be
connected. Water pressure MUST be between 10 and
120 pounds per square inch. Your water department
can advise you of your water pressure. The hot water
temperature should be set to deliver water at 120° to
140°F (48°–60°C) to provide proper performance.

Disconnect power supply before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

Installation Instructions
1. Run some water from the hot and cold faucets to
flush the water lines and remove particles that might
clog the inlet hose and water valve screens.
2. Remove the inlet hoses from the packaging (whether
supplied with the washer or sold separately).
3.
(90° elbow end) Ensure there is a
rubber washer in the 90° elbow end of
the HOT and COLD hoses. Reinstall
the rubber washer into the hose fitting
if it has fallen out during shipment.
Carefully connect the inlet hose
marked HOT to the outside “H” outlet of the water valve.
Tighten by hand, then tighten another 2/3 turn with pliers.
Carefully connect the other inlet hose to the inside “C”
outlet of the water valve. Tighten by hand; then tighten
another 2/3 turn with pliers. Do not crossthread or
over-tighten these connections.
4. If inlet hose screen washers are not
already inserted into the inlet hoses,
install them by inserting into the free
ends of the HOT and COLD inlet hoses
with protruded side facing the faucet.
5. Connect the inlet hose ends to the HOT and COLD
water faucets tightly by hand, then tighten another 2/3
turn with pliers. Turn the water on and check for leaks.
6. Carefully move the washer to its final location.
Gently rock the washer into position. It is important
not to damage the rubber leveling legs when moving
your washer to its final location. Damaged legs
can increase washer vibration. It may be helpful to
spray window cleaner on the floor to help move your
washer into its final position.
NOTE: To reduce vibration, ensure that all four rubber
leveling legs are firmly touching the floor. Push and pull
on the back right and then back left of your washer.
NOTE: Do not use the dispenser drawer or door to
lift the washer.
NOTE: If you are installing into a drain pan, you can
use a 24-inch long 2x4 to lever the washer into place.
7. With the washer in its final position,
place a level on top of the washer
(if the washer is installed under
a counter, the washer should not
be able to rock). Adjust the front
leveling legs up or down to ensure
the washer is resting solidly. Turn
the lock nuts on each leg up toward
the base of the washer and snug
with a wrench.
NOTE: Keep the leg extension at
a minimum to prevent excessive
vibration. The farther out the
legs are extended, the more the
washer will vibrate.
If the floor is not level or is damaged,
you may have to extend the rear
leveling legs.

INSTALLING THE WASHER
8. Attach U-shaped hose guide to the end of the drain
hose. Place the hose in a laundry tub or standpipe
and secure it with the cable tie provided in the
enclosure package.
NOTE: Placing the drain hose too far down the drain
pipe can cause a siphoning action. No more than
5 inches of hose should be in the drain pipe. There
must be an air gap around the drain hose. A snug fit
can cause a siphoning action.
9. Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet.
NOTE: Check to be sure the power is off at the
circuit breaker/fuse box before plugging the power
cord into an outlet.
10. Turn on the power at the circuit breaker/fuse box.
11. Read the rest of this Owner’s Manual. It contains
valuable and helpful information that will save you
time and money.
12. Before starting the washer, check to make sure:
Main power is turned on.
The washer is plugged in.
The water faucets are turned on.
The unit is level and all four leveling legs are firmly
on the floor.
The shipping support hardware is removed
and saved.
The drain hose is properly tied up.
There are no leaks at the faucet, drain line
or washer.
13. Run the washer through a complete cycle.
Check for water leaks and proper operation.
14. If your washer does not operate, review the
Troubleshooting Tips section before calling for
service.
15. Place these instructions in a location near the
washer for future reference.

STACKING THE DRYER ON THE WASHER (OPTIONAL)
IMPORTANT: The stackable dryer model VFD31 is required to stack on this washer.
The stackable dryer model comes with all required brackets and screws necessary for stacking.
During installation, some hardware will need to be moved to a different location on the unit.
When stacking the dryer on the washer, a minimum 6’ dryer power cord will be required.
Kit WX9X4 is the 3-prong power cord and kit WX9X20 is the 4-prong power cord. Sold separately.

• Dryer must be securely attached to the washer.
• DO NOT place the washer on top of the dryer.

ADJUST DRYER FEET
1. Carefully lay the dryer on its side. Use the packing
material so you don’t scratch the finish on the dryer.
2. Remove the four feet from the dryer, using the wrench
shipped in the accessory bag, then remove the nuts.
Discard the nuts but reinstall and tighten the feet into
the dryer.
3. Remove the two screws from the bottom back side
of the dryer and discard. (This is required to prevent
interference when stacking the machines.)

REMOVE KNOCKOUTS (IF USING
COIN DROP PAYMENT)
1. Remove the knockout from the bottom plate of the
dryer using a hammer and flathead screwdriver with
its tip placed on the inside edge of the knockout.
Carefully remove the knockout and install the rubber
gasket from the accessory bag onto the knockout
opening. Lift the dryer upright onto its feet.
2. Remove the knockout from the top panel of the
washer using a hammer and flathead screwdriver
with its tip placed on the inside edge of the knockout.
Carefully remove the knockout and install the rubber
gasket from the accessory bag onto the knockout
opening. Ensure the stackable (top) dryer and
bottom washer are level left to right and front to back.
If the unit is unlevel, adjust the feet to level the unit.

STACKING THE DRYER ON THE WASHER (OPTIONAL)
4 INSTALL DRYER ON WASHER
1. Carefully lift and stack the dryer on top of the washer
but with the dryer’s back slightly offset over the back
of the washer’s back. Align the four dryer step screws
with the four stacking brackets on the washer’s top
but do not engage them at this point.
2. If using the coin drop device, reach into the dryer’s
opening, unbundle the wiring harness connectors,
and pull the two connectors down through the two
knocked-out areas in the right corners of the dryer
and the washer. Follow the Installation Instructions
that came with the coin drop to make connections.
3. Carefully push the lower part of the dryer from the back
to the front to engage the dryer’s four step screws into
the washers four bracket slots. Make sure all four dryer
step screws are secure in the four stacking brackets.
• Use two or more people to install dryer.

death, or property damage.

5 LOCK DRYER TO WASHER
1. Unlock the control panel from the front of the dryer
using the access key shipped with the dryer.
2. Pull its top down and lift it off.
3. Insert the self-tapping screw, removed in Step 1, into
the hole in the right stacking bracket and tighten it
using a short Phillips screwdriver or a socket wrench.
4. If using a coin drop, connect wiring harness connector
to the coin drop following the Installation Instructions
that came with the coin drop.
5. Replace the control panel and lock it with the access
key.
6. If not using coin drop, snap white cover into coin
meter opening.

• Carefully move the stacked washer and dryer to
their final position and make sure they are level left
to right and front to back. If they are unlevel, adjust
the washer’s feet to level them.

redistribute the clothes.
NOTE: If the clothes are too wet, the load is slightly out of balance
and the washer slowed the spin speed. This slower spin speed is
normal. You can pay to run the laundry cycle again, or increase
the drying time.

Drain hose is kinked or

make sure end of drain hose is correctly inserted in and secured
to drain facility.
Property drain may be
clogged Check property plumbing. You may need to call a plumber.
Dispenser clogged Powder soap may cause clogs inside the dispenser and cause
water to leak out the front of the dispenser. Remove drawer and
clean both drawer and inside of dispenser box. Refer to Care and
Cleaning section.
Incorrect use of detergent Use only HE and correct amount of detergent.
Dispenser box cracked If new installation, check for crack on inside of dispenser box.
Clothes too

All rubber leveling legs are
not firmly touching the floor Push and pull on the back right and then back left of your
washer to check if it is level. If the washer is uneven,
adjust the rubber leveling legs so they are all firmly
touching the floor and locked in place.
Unbalanced load See Load is out of balance above.
Pump filter may be clogged See the Care and Cleaning section on how to clean the
Pump Filter.
No power/washer not
working or dead Washer is unplugged Make sure cord is plugged securely into a working outlet.
Water supply is turned off Turn both hot and cold faucets fully on.

tripped/blown Check house circuit breakers/fuses. Replace fuses or
reset breaker. Washer should have separate outlet.
Automatic self system
checks First time the washer is plugged in, automatic checks
occur. It may take up to 20 seconds before you can use

hoses and turn the water back on.
Inlet hose screen washers
are stopped up Turn off the water source and remove the inlet hoses from
the wall faucets. Use a brush or toothpick to clean the screen
washers in the end of the hoses. Reconnect the hoses and
turn the water back on.
Pump filter may be clogged See the Care and Cleaning section on how to clean the
Pump Filter.
Fill hoses may be kinked Check that fill hoses are not kinked or clogged.
Water supply is turned off Turn on both hot and cold faucets fully.
Energy efficiency This is an energy-efficient washer. As a result, the temperature
settings for this washer may be different than for a non-energy-
efficient washer.
Insufficient water supply Make sure that the water supply is turned on. Make sure that
the water faucets are turned to their completely open position.
Verify supply water pressure is no less than 10 psi.
The washer door is open The washer door must be closed for all washer cycle
operations. If the door is opened during the washer operation,
all functions will stop, including water filling.
Incorrect fill hose connection Make sure that the fill hoses connect the hot water supply to
the hot inlet on the washer and the cold water supply to the
cold inlet on the washer (hot to hot, cold to cold).

En los modelos que funcionan con monedas, se puede cobrar un precio diferente para cada ciclo y se puede programar
un precio adicional para cada uno de los dos botones de opción. En el caso de pagos con aplicaciones, el precio se

Ciclos de lavado
La lavadora ofrece cuatro ciclos de lavado estándar. Los ciclos de lavado básicos son Cold (Frío), Warm
(Templado), Hot (Caliente) y Delicate (Delicado).
Los ciclos de lavado Cold (Frío), Warm (Templado) y Hot (Caliente) constan de tres segmentos. Estos ciclos
comienzan con el lavado principal que llena hasta el nivel LOW (Bajo) de agua. El nivel de agua y la duración
del lavado principal se pueden ajustar con el Modo administrador de la lavadora. La temperatura del agua
del lavado principal es fría en el ciclo COLD (Frío), templada en el ciclo WARM (Templado) y caliente en el
ciclo HOT (Caliente). El lavado principal llena la unidad y llega al compartimento de detergente del cajón de
detergente. Aproximadamente a mitad del lavado principal, se enjuaga el compartimento de blanqueador del
dispensador de detergente.
La lavadora drena después del lavado principal y vuelve a llenarse hasta el nivel HIGH (Alto) de agua para cada
uno de los dos enjuagues con agua fría que completan los ciclos básicos. A cada enjuague le sigue un ciclo de
drenaje y centrifugado. El enjuague final toma el contenido del compartimento de suavizante del dispensador.
NOTA: Las opciones Heavy Soil (Muy sucio) y Extra Rinse (Enjuague extra) no se pueden utilizar con el
ciclo Delicate (Delicado).

Opciones
Las funciones opcionales son Heavy Soil (Muy sucio) y Extra Rinse (Enjuague extra). Las opciones se
pueden añadir a los ciclos de lavado básicos (excepto Delicate [Delicado]), en cualquier combinación.
La opción Heavy Soil (Muy sucio) añade un prelavado al ciclo. La opción Heavy Soil (Muy sucio) no está

La opción Extra Rinse (Enjuague extra) añade un enjuague adicional con agua fría al ciclo de lavado. La opción
Extra Rinse (Enjuague extra) no está disponible cuando se selecciona el ciclo Delicate (Delicado). El enjuague
extra repite el penúltimo aclarado. Si se desea un segundo ciclo de enjuague, consulte Modo administrador y
Direcciones de registro para la configuración de parámetros en la sección Usar la lavadora.

Start (Comienzo) - Pulse para iniciar la carga de lavado.
Pause (Pausa) - Mientras la lavadora esté funcionando, pulse el botón Start/Pause (Comienzo/Pausa). La
lavadora pausará el ciclo y entrará en un estado de pausa. Durante este tiempo:
• La pantalla LED mostrará el tiempo restante del ciclo parpadeando en intervalos de un segundo.
• La máquina pasará al estado “Idle” (inactivo) y se agotará el tiempo de espera cuatro minutos después de
que se desbloquee la puerta.
• Si el LED muestra “lock” (bloqueo), significa que la lavadora se ha pausado con agua adentro y no se puede
abrir la puerta.
• Pulse de nuevo el botón Start/Pause (Comienzo/Pausa) para reanudar el ciclo de lavado.
NOTA: Si la máquina está en pausa durante más de 4 minutos, la unidad se drenará automáticamente y volverá
al modo de espera. En este punto, el proceso de selección de ciclo y pago debe repetirse para volver a utilizar la
máquina.

Detergente de alta eficiencia (HE) y cómo funciona la lavadora con condiciones
de exceso de espuma
Su unidad es una lavadora de carga frontal de alta eficiencia. Fue diseñada específicamente para utilizar menos
agua que las lavadoras de carga superior y, al mismo tiempo, lograr resultados de lavado de muy alta calidad. Sin
embargo, las lavadoras de carga frontal de alta eficiencia con niveles de agua verificados en laboratorio igual pueden
experimentar un exceso de espuma si se utiliza detergente regular (líquido o en polvo), especialmente si se coloca
demasiado detergente. RECOMENDAMOS ENFÁTICAMENTE el uso de un detergente de baja espuma que esté
claramente marcado con la sigla “HE” y que no se utilice más de 1/4 de taza para una carga completa.
Las burbujas y la espuma blanca NO limpian la ropa; de hecho, el exceso de espuma es difícil de enjuagar por
completo y puede permanecer en la ropa al final del ciclo de lavado. El detergente que no se enjuaga puede irritar la
piel y provocar cambios en el color de la ropa cuando se calienta en secadora.
Hemos implementado un algoritmo de software patentado en esta lavadora para ayudar a distinguir entre
condiciones de exceso de espuma y condiciones de obstrucción de la cesta del filtro de la bomba. Por lo general,
esta lavadora completará el ciclo de lavado incluso si experimenta una condición moderada de exceso de espuma o
de desequilibrio. Cuando la lavadora detecta exceso de espuma, añade agua automáticamente al ciclo de enjuague
para eliminarla. Esto aumentará el tiempo de funcionamiento del ciclo, lo que es normal. Un exceso de espuma
muy grande, una obstrucción en la cesta del filtro de la bomba (debido a pelusas y residuos acumulados) o un
desequilibrio extremo de la carga son condiciones que pueden hacer que un ciclo de lavado no termine y que se
muestre un código de error.
Si el ciclo de lavado no se completa o si usted ve un código de error, el software está haciendo lo correcto para
proteger la lavadora de condiciones de funcionamiento anómalas. Si es necesario, desde la parte inferior izquierda
delantera de la lavadora, retire con cuidado la cesta del filtro de la bomba para limpiarla de acuerdo con las
instrucciones de este manual. Consulte Filtro de la bomba en la sección Mantenimiento preventivo. Tenga la
precaución de esperar a que el agua caliente del tambor se enfríe a una temperatura segura antes de retirar el filtro,
ya que se liberará algo de agua.

Interrupciones de energía
Ocasionalmente puede haber interrupciones de energía debido a tormentas eléctricas u otras causas. Tras un corte
de energía, la máquina reanudará el funcionamiento en el punto en el que estaba cuando falló la alimentación.
Durante un corte de energía, la puerta permanecerá BLOQUEADA hasta que la energía vuelva y el ciclo termine. Si
es necesario, la puerta se puede abrir con la función Desbloqueo de puerta de emergencia.
Asegúrese de que el nivel de agua dentro del tambor no sea demasiado alto. Proceda con
el drenaje de emergencia, si es necesario. Consulte la sección Filtro de la bomba en la
sección Mantenimiento preventivo/Cuidado y limpieza.

El botón Reset tiene dos funciones:
1) Acceder al Modo administrador. Pulse una vez el botón Reset. Si vuelve a pulsar el botón Reset, podrá salir del
Modo administrador. Los cambios realizados en los registros durante este tiempo se guardarán después de salir
del Modo administrador con el botón Reset.
2) Restablecer la lavadora a los parámetros de fábrica. Mantenga pulsado el botón Reset durante al menos
VHJXQGRVNOTA: Todos los ajustes de parámetros hechos en el Modo administrador se restaurarán a los
parámetros predeterminados de fábrica. Los parámetros se restablecerán al modo de pago múltiple (moneda y
aplicación) y el precio del pago con monedas se establecerá de forma predeterminada en cero. La contraseña se
restaurará a 1234.

Su lavadora está equipada con la función Consumer Help Indicator (Indicador de Ayuda al Consumidor, CHI). CHI es
nuestra forma de comunicar una solución simple para algunas acciones que usted puede realizar sin la necesidad
de llamar al servicio técnico. El siguiente cuadro describe los mensajes útiles que podrá ver pasar por la pantalla al
regresar para iniciar otra carga. Estos mensajes brindarán soluciones simples que puede realizar de forma rápida.
“oob” La lavadora detecta una condición de desequilibrio (“oob”). Cuando aparece “oob”, la máquina
puede ajustar y reequilibrar la ropa por sí sola. No es necesario realizar ninguna acción, pero
indica que no se alcanzará la velocidad de centrifugado más alta y que el contenido de agua de la
ropa puede ser mayor de lo normal.

Siempre siga las instrucciones del fabricante de la ropa cuando lave.
NO lave tejidos sucios con líquidos inflamables o disolventes de limpieza.
Ninguna lavadora puede eliminar el aceite por completo.
NO seque cualquier cosa remojada o salpicada con cualquier tipo de aceite.
NO toque el interior de la lavadora antes de que todas las partes en movimiento se hayan detenido.
Si lo hace, eso puede ocasionar la muerte, explosión, incendio o amputación.
Separación de cargas
Separe por color (blancos, claros, colores), nivel de suciedad, tipo de tela (algodones rústicos, limpieza fácil,
delicados) y si la tela produce pelusa (tela de toalla, felpilla) o junta pelusa (terciopelo, pana). Lave los productores
de pelusas tales como toallas de algodón y medias aparte de los recolectores de pelusas, incluyendo prendas

Puede que el tambor de la lavadora esté totalmente lleno con prendas sueltas que se añadan. NOTA: No es posible

Exterior
Limpie inmediatamente cualquier vertido. Limpie los derrames o compuestos de limpieza con un paño húmedo.
Limpie la lavadora únicamente con agua tibia y jabón. El panel de control y los acabados de la lavadora pueden
resultar dañados por productos utilizados como tratamiento previo al lavado y removedores de manchas. Aplique
estos productos lejos de la lavadora. La tela luego puede lavarse y secarse de manera normal. Los daños provocados
a su lavadora por estos productos no están cubiertos por la garantía. No aplique objetos afilados a la superficie.
Interior
Seque alrededor de la abertura de la puerta de la lavadora, así como la junta obturadora elástica (incluidas las
tuberías conectadas) y el cristal de la puerta. Estas áreas siempre deben estar limpias para garantizar un sellado
hermético. Inspeccione todas las mangueras internas, sellos y juntas en busca de signos de fugas. Haga las
reparaciones necesarias. Se recomienda enjuagar la lavadora una vez al mes con 1 taza de blanqueador (u

Mangueras de suministro de aguas
De forma periódica, inspeccione que no haya pérdidas de agua, desgastes, cortes, corrosión ni bultos en todas las
mangueras de entrada de agua. En caso que aparezcan signos de cualquiera de estas fallas, reemplace todas las
mangueras de inmediato. Todas las mangueras se deberán reemplazar cada 3 a 5 años de uso, a fin de reducir riesgos
de fallas por parte de las mangueras y posibles daños ocasionados por el agua. Al reemplazar las mangueras, consulte
las Instrucciones de Instalación a fin de realizar una instalación correcta. NO ajuste en exceso ni desgaste las roscas de
los accesorios. NO permita que la manguera roce contra objetos filosos, que se retuerza, o se extienda de forma excesiva.
Siempre asegúrese de que las juntas de goma de la manguera estén instaladas y libres de goteos al recibir presión.
Desconecte el suministro de corriente antes de realizar el servicio técnico. Reemplace todas las piezas y paneles antes
de utilizar. Si no cumple con esto, se podrá producir la muerte o descarga eléctrica.

Filtro de la bomba
Debido a la naturaleza de la lavadora de carga frontal, es posible que a veces pasen partículas pequeñas a la
bomba. La lavadora cuenta con un filtro para capturar los elementos perdidos y que no caigan en el drenaje. Para
recuperar los elementos perdidos, limpie el filtro de la bomba.
Zona del depósito de detergente
El detergente y el suavizante pueden acumularse en el depósito de detergente. Los residuos
deben eliminarse una o dos veces al mes o según sea necesario.
• Saque el depósito tirando de él hasta que se detenga. Con una herramienta como un
destornillador largo, presione firmemente la lengüeta de bloqueo situada en la parte trasera
del cajón y tire del cajón hacia fuera.
• Enjuague el cajón con agua caliente para quitar los restos acumulados de productos de
lavado.
• Para limpiar la abertura del depósito, utilice un cepillo pequeño a fin de limpiar el hueco.
Retire todos los restos de las partes superior e inferior del hueco.
• Introduzca de nuevo el depósito de detergente.
• Para reducir la acumulación en la zona del depósito de
detergente, use sólo detergente de alta eficiencia HE.
Periodos prolongados sin uso

NOTA: Una placa de tapa de la base está envuelta en la
parte superior del material de embalaje. Tenga cuidado
al manipular la tapa inferior.
1. Retire todos los materiales de embalaje. Al abrir el
paquete, quizá vea gotas de agua en la bolsa de
plástico y en el tambor. Este es un fenómeno normal

Mantenga estos materiales fuera del alcance de los
niños, pues éstos podrían utilizarlos para jugar. Las
cajas de cartón cubiertas con mantas, colchas o
láminas de plástico pueden convertirse en cámaras
de aire herméticas y producir asfixia.

2 DESECHE LOS ACCESORIOS DE
ENVÍO
La lavadora se fija con accesorios de transporte para
evitar daños internos durante el transporte. Los accesorios
de envío deben retirarse antes de usar la lavadora.
1. Desenrosque los 4 pernos con una llave o un
cubo. Retire primero los 2 pernos inferiores y, a
continuación, los dos superiores. Uno de los pernos
retiene el cable de alimentación de la lavadora para
evitar que funcione sin retirar los pernos. Conserve
los pernos y los manguitos para usarlos en el futuro.
Pueden volver a colocarse si es necesario transportar
la unidad.
2. Después de retirar los 4 pernos con espaciadores
y soportes horizontales, desenganche el cable de
alimentación.
3. Cierre los 4 orificios con las tapas en la parte
posterior de la unidad.

A TIERRA
Este electrodoméstico deberá estar conectado a tierra.

Si se necesitan piezas de repuesto para la lavadora,
se pueden solicitar llamando GE Appliances a

1. Deje correr un poco de agua de los grifos de agua
caliente y fría para purgar las tuberías de agua y
eliminar las partículas que puedan obstruir la tubería
de entrada y los filtros de la válvula de agua.
2. Saque las tuberías de entrada de la embalaje.

los alicates. Conecte con cuidado la otra tubería de
entrada a la salida “C” interior de la válvula de agua.
Apriete con la mano y, a continuación, apriete 2/3 de
vuelta con los alicates. No pase las roscas ni apriete
excesivamente estas conexiones.

Si los filtros de pantalla de la manguera
de entrada no se encuentran insertados
en las mangueras de entrada, instale
los mismos insertando estos en los
extremos libres de las mangueras de
entrada HOT (Caliente) y COLD (Fría) con los
extremos protuberantes enfrentados hacia el grifo.
5. Conecte los extremos de la tubería de entrada a las
tomas de agua CALIENTE y FRÍA ajustándolos con la
mano y, a continuación, apriete de nuevo 2/3 de vuelta
con los alicates. Abra la llave de paso y compruebe que
no hay ninguna fuga.
6. Desplace la lavadora con cuidado hasta su ubicación
final. Mueva suavemente la lavadora para situarla en
su lugar. Es importante no dañar las patas niveladoras
de caucho al trasladar su lavadora a su ubicación final.
Si las patas se dañan podría aumentar la vibración de
la lavadora. Podría ser útil rociar el piso con limpiador
para ventanas a fin de trasladar más fácilmente su
lavadora a su ubicación final.
NOTA: Para reducir la vibración, asegúrese de que
cada una de las cuatro patas niveladoras estén en
contacto con el piso. Empuje y tire de la parte posterior
derecha y luego de la parte posterior izquierda de su
lavadora.
NOTA: No utilice el depósito de detergente ni la puerta
para levantar la lavadora.
NOTA: Si se instala en un depósito de desagüe, puede
utilizar una tabla 2x4 de 24 pulgadas de longitud para
colocar la lavadora en su lugar haciendo palanca.
7. Una vez situada la lavadora en
su posición final, coloque un
nivel en la parte superior de la
misma (si está instalada debajo
de un contador, la lavadora no
debería vibrar). Ajuste las patas
niveladoras delanteras hacia arriba o hacia abajo
para asegurarse que la lavadora se apoya en una
superficie sólida. Gire las contratuercas de cada
pata hacia la base de la lavadora y apriételas con
una llave.
3 INSTALACIÓN DE LA LAVADORA NOTA: Mantenga la extensión de los soportes al
mínimo para evitar una vibración excesiva. Cuanto
más se extiendan las patas, más vibrará la lavadora.
Si el suelo no está nivelado o está dañado, puede que
sea necesario extender las patas niveladoras traseras.
8. Coloque la guía de la tubería en forma de U en el
extremo de la tubería de desagüe. Coloque la tubería
en una pila de lavar o tubería vertical y sujétela con
la abrazadera de cable que se proporciona en el
paquete adjunto.
NOTA: Colocar la manguera de drenaje muy debajo
de la tubería de drenaje puede provocar un efecto
de sifón. No debe haber más de 5 pulgadas de
manguera en la tubería de drenaje. Debe haber un
espacio de aire alrededor de la manguera de drenaje.
Si la manguera está muy ajustada, también puede
provocarse un efecto de sifón.
9. Enchufe el cable de alimentación en una salida de
conexión a tierra.
NOTA: Asegúrese de que la alimentación está cortada
en un interruptor/caja de fusibles antes de enchufar el
cable de alimentación a una toma de corriente.
10. Conecte la alimentación a un interruptor/caja de
fusibles.
11. Lea el resto del Manual del propietario. Contiene
información valiosa y útil que supondrá un ahorro
de tiempo y dinero.
12. Antes de poner en funcionamiento la lavadora,
asegúrese de comprobar lo siguiente:
La alimentación está conectada.
La lavadora está enchufada.
Las llaves de paso están abiertas.
La lavadora está nivelada y que cada una de las cuatro
patas niveladoras estén en contacto con el piso.
Las piezas de sujeción para el transporte se han
quitado y guardado.
La tubería de desagüe se ha asegurado
correctamente.
No existe ninguna fuga en la llave de paso, la tubería
de desagüe ni la lavadora.
13. Ponga en funcionamiento la lavadora en un ciclo
completo. Compruebe que no haya fugas de agua y
que funcione correctamente.
14. Si la lavadora no funciona, revise la sección Consejos
para la solución de problemas antes de ponerse en
contacto con el servicio de asistencia técnica.
15. Coloque las instrucciones en un lugar próximo a la
lavadora para futuras consultas.

1. Coloque con cuidado la secadora sobre un costado.
Utilice el material de embalaje para no rayar el
acabado de la secadora.
2. Retire las cuatro patas de la secadora con la llave que
se incluye en la bolsa de accesorios y, a continuación,
retire las tuercas. Deseche las tuercas pero vuelva a
instalar y apretar las patas en la secadora.
3. Retire los dos tornillos de la parte inferior trasera de
la secadora y deséchelos. (Esto es necesario para
evitar interferencias al apilar las máquinas).

RETIRE LAS ÁREAS
TROQUELADAS (SI UTILIZARÁ EL
SISTEMA DE PAGO CON MONEDAS)
1. Retire el área troquelada de la placa inferior de la
secadora con un martillo y un destornillador plano
con la punta colocada en el borde interior del área
troquelada. Retire con cuidado el área troquelada e
instale la junta de goma de la bolsa de accesorios
en la abertura del área troquelada. Levante la
secadora de modo que quede en posición vertical
sobre sus patas.
2. Retire el área troquelada del panel superior de la
lavadora con un martillo y un destornillador plano
con la punta colocada en el borde interior del área
troquelada. Retire con cuidado el área troquelada e
instale la junta de goma de la bolsa de accesorios
en la abertura del área troquelada. Asegúrese de
que la secadora apilable (superior) y la lavadora
(inferior) estén niveladas de izquierda a derecha
y de delante hacia atrás. Si la unidad no está
nivelada, ajuste las patas para nivelarla.

LA LAVADORA
1.
Levante y apile con cuidado la secadora sobre la
lavadora, pero con la parte posterior de la secadora
ligeramente desplazada respecto de la parte posterior
de la lavadora. Alinee los cuatro tornillos de paso de la
secadora con los cuatro soportes apilables de la parte
superior de la lavadora, pero no los encaje en este punto.
2. De querer utilizar el dispositivo de pago con monedas,
introduzca la mano en la abertura de la secadora,
desenganche los conectores del mazo de cables y
tire de los dos conectores hacia abajo y páselos a
través de las dos áreas troqueladas situadas en la
esquina derecha de la secadora y la lavadora. Siga las
instrucciones de instalación que acompañan al sistema
de pago con monedas para realizar las conexiones.
3. Empuje con cuidado la parte inferior de la secadora
desde la parte posterior hacia la parte delantera para
encajar los cuatro tornillos de paso de la secadora en
las cuatro ranuras de soporte de la lavadora. Asegúrese
de que los cuatro tornillos de paso de la secadora estén
fijados en los cuatro soportes de apilamiento.

5 FIJE LA SECADORA SOBRE LA
LAVADORA
1. Desbloquee el panel de control de la parte frontal
de la secadora utilizando la llave de acceso
suministrada con la secadora.
2. Tire de la parte superior hacia abajo y levántela.
3. Inserte el tornillo autorroscante, retirado en el paso 1,
en el orificio del soporte de apilamiento derecho y
apriételo con un destornillador Phillips corto o una
llave de cubo.
4. De querer utilizar el sistema de pago con monedas,
conecte el conector del mazo de cables al sistema de
monedas siguiendo las instrucciones de instalación
que vienen con dicho sistema.
5. Vuelva a colocar el panel de control y asegúrelo con
la llave de acceso.
6. Si no utilizará el sistema de pago con monedas,
encaje la tapa blanca en la abertura del contador de
monedas.

• Mueva con cuidado la lavadora y secadora apiladas
hasta su posición final y asegúrese de que estén
niveladas de izquierda a derecha y de adelante hacia
