IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

19. When heating toaster pastries, always use the lightest toast color setting.
20. Always attach plug to appliance rst, then plug cord into the wall outlet; To disconnect,
turn any control to OFF, then remove plug from wall outlet.

CAUTION HOT SURFACES: This appliance generates heat and escaping steam
during use. Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, res,
or other injury to persons or damage to property.
WARNING: ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD. Never attempt to dislodge food inside
the toaster while the toaster is plugged in. Doing so could cause an electrical
shock hazard or a risk of re.
CAUTION: This appliance is hot during operation and retains heat for some time
after turning off. Always use oven mitts when handling hot materials and allow
metal parts to cool before cleaning. Do not place anything on top of the toaster
while it is operating or while it is hot.
1. A person who has not read and understood all operating, toasting, and
safety instructions is not qualied to operate this appliance. All users of this
appliance must read and understand this Instruction Manual before operating

2. If this appliance falls or accidentally becomes immersed in water,

3. When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and on all sides
for air circulation. Do not operate this appliance while it is touching or near
curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels or other ammable materials.

5. If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately press the
illuminated CANCEL button and unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to
repair a malfunctioning appliance!

8. Use the toaster on a hard, at surface. Do not place toaster near a ame or

food gets jammed, the toaster will shut off automatically.

NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electrical shock, the plug can t into a polarized socket only one way.
If the plug does not t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t,
contact a qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
NOTES ON THE CORD
a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be
provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping
over a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available
and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or
extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance;
2) If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should
be a grounding- type 3-wire cord; and
3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over
the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by children
or tripped over.
PLASTICIZER WARNING
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the nish of the counter top or
table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between
the appliance and the nish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may
cause the nish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur, or stains can appear.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may
not operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from
other appliances.

Getting to Know Your Toaster
Product may vary slightly from illustration
Before Using For The First Time
1. Remove all packaging materials including those that may be inside the toasting slots or toasting
lever slot.
2. Wipe the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
3. Do not put the toaster, cord or plug in water.
4. Make sure both of the the crumb trays are locked in position on the bottom of the toaster and both
left and right toasting levers are in the UP position.
5. Unwrap power cord from cord storage area on underside of toaster and plug into a 120V AC outlet.
6. Turn both left and right browning control dials to (1), the lightest setting.
7. Lower both left and right toasting levers until they lock in place. It is recommended to run 2 cycles
of toast without bread before the rst use.
NOTE: Toaster may emit a thin smoke on the initial use. This is normal and not detrimental
to the performance of the toaster.
Automatic Centering Guides
Lowering either the left or right or both toasting lever(s) closes the centering guides, and holds the bread
or toaster food centrally in the toasting slots.
NOTE: The toasting lever(s) will not lock down unless the toaster is plugged into a 120V AC
electrical outlet.

Toasting Instructions
1. Before toasting, make sure both the left and right crumb trays are in position on the bottom
of the toaster and the and both left and right toasting levers are in the UP position.
2. Make sure no bread or other objects are inside the toasting slots. Place toaster on a at, level, heat
resistant surface.
3. Remove all protective wrappings from food before placing into the toasting slot(s).
IMPORTANT: Avoid toasting torn bread slices or small pieces of toaster food that may get lodged
in toasting slot(s).
4. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.=
5. Insert bread or toaster food into 1 to 4 the toasting slot(s). Lower the corresponding left or right
toasting lever(s) until locked into place. The automatic centering guides hold food upright for
uniform side-to-side toasting. When the bread is lowered into position, the corresponding left
or right CANCEL button(s) will illuminate, and toasting will begin.
NOTE: The toasting lever(s) will not lock into position unless the toaster is plugged into a 120V AC
electrical outlet.
NOTE: When toasting a single slice, the bread may be placed in any toasting slot.
NOTE: To prevent a re hazard, never place bread over the opening of the toaster; always place
bread into the slots.
NOTE: DO NOT change the browning selection during the toasting cycle. Press any illuminated
CANCEL button(s); then turn the browning control dial to adjust. Lower the corresponding left or
right toasting lever(s) and toast until the desired toast color is achieved.
6. At the end of the toasting cycle, bread or toaster food will rise automatically. Use the high lift lever
to remove smaller toaster foods or breads such as English mufns.
7. Remove bread from toasting slot(s). Use care when removing bread as the bread and the top of the
toaster will still be hot.
IMPORTANT: Never use a fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast, because that may damage
the heating element or cause injury.
8. To interrupt toasting, press either the left or right or both illuminated CANCEL button(s).
9. Unplug cord from wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Do not attempt to dislodge food
when the toaster is plugged in.
Reheat Cycle
1. Use the reheat to warm through toasted bread or any toaster food that has cooled.
Rotate the browning control dial to Reheat.
NOTE: This toaster has a special setting for reheating toast, which overrides the toaster’s
browning setting.
IMPORTANT: Use REHEAT cycle with plain, unbuttered toast ONLY.
2. Place bread into 1 to 4 of the toasting slots.
3. Lower the corresponding left or right toasting lever(s) until locked into place. The automatic
centering guides hold
food upright for uniform side-to-side toasting. The corresponding CANCEL button(s) will illuminate
and the REHEAT cycle will begin.
4. At the end of the REHEAT cycle, the toasting lever(s), reheated bread or toaster food will rise
automatically, and the toaster will turn OFF.
5. Remove bread or toaster food from the toasting slot(s). Use care as the top of the toaster will still
be hot.
IMPORTANT: Never use a fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast, because that may damage
the heating element or cause injury.
6. To interrupt the REHEAT cycle, press the corresponding illuminated CANCEL button(s).
7. Unplug cord from wall outlet when not in use.
Cancel Button
1. When the toasting lever is lowered, the corresponding CANCEL button(s) will illuminate,
and toasting will begin.
2. To stop or interrupt any toasting cycle, press the illuminated CANCEL button(s).
The bread or toaster food will automatically rise; the toaster will turn OFF.
3. Unplug cord from wall outlet when not in use.

Convenience Food Toasting
Many varieties of packaged convenience food are available today, both frozen and non-frozen
(shelf pastry). Since toaster foods and individual tastes vary, it is difcult to recommend exact
browning settings. However, after a little experimentation you will discover the best setting for your
needs. You may also wish to refer to the heating instructions on convenience food packaging.
Toaster Pastry
For best results, follow the instructions printed on the pastry package. If the package does not have
instructions, position the left or right corresponding browning control dial to medium, between (3) and (4).
Some pastries may require a second toasting cycle.
NOTE: Do not use this toaster for toasting pastry items with runny-type frosting or open llings.
CAUTION: Never leave toaster unattended when toasting pastries.
Non-Frozen Shelf Pastry
Turn the corresponding left or right browning control dial(s) to a lighter setting. For thicker convenience
foods, it may be necessary to adjust the browning control dial(s) to a higher setting / longer toasting cycle.
Removing Lodged Foods
NOTE: This toaster is equipped with Anti-Jam feature. If any toast or toaster food gets jammed,
the toaster will shut OFF automatically.
1. If, after toasting, a piece of bread or any other toaster food becomes lodged in any of the toasting
slots, unplug the toaster and allow it to cool.
2. Hold the toasting lever down. Turn the toaster upside down and shake the food loose.
IMPORTANT: Never use a fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast, because that may damage
the heating element or cause injury.
3. Clean either or both of the crumb trays and replace.
Important Points
• Remove all protective wrappings from food before placing into the toasting slot(s).
• For best results, clean the crumb tray(s) frequently.
• Different breads require different color settings. Press the illuminated CANCEL button at any time
to check toast color.
• Do not block extra wide toasting slots. Never place any object over the top opening.
• Do not toast buttered bread, buttered Texas toast, buttered English mufns, buttered bagels or
buttered pita bread. Melted butter will cause re
• When toasting more than 1 slice of bread, use slices of similar size, thickness and freshness.
• Stale bread, thin bread or sweet bread products, such as tea cakes and fruit loaf, brown much more
quickly than ordinary bread, so they should be toasted on the lighter settings.
• Never immerse toaster, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
• Never use a fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast, because that may damage the heating
element or cause injury.
User Maintenance Instructions
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Any servicing requiring
disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualied appliance repair technician.
Care & Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: Do not immerse toaster, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
CAUTION: Be sure the toaster is unplugged before cleaning.
CRUMB TRAY: Both left and right crumb trays are located on the bottom of the toaster. Working over a sink
or garbage receptacle, pull each crumb tray out of the back to remove. Wipe crumb tray(s) with a clean,
damp cloth. Push crumb tray(s) back into position. Make sure both left and right crumb trays are locked
securely into the bottom of the toaster.
EXTERIOR: Wipe the toaster exterior with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Do not put cord, or plug in water or liquid.
Storing Instructions
1. Unplug unit, allow to cool, and clean before storing.
2. Store toaster in its box in a clean, dry place.
3. Never store toaster while it is hot or still plugged in.
4. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance; use the storage area on the bottom of the toaster.
5. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray
and break.

Limited TWO-YEAR Warranty
SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of TWO YEARS from the date
of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical defects in material and
workmanship, and for 90 days in respect to non-mechanical parts. At its sole
discretion, SENSIO Inc. will either repair or replace the product found to be
defective, or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period.
The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial
retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof
of purchase is required to obtain warranty validation. Retail stores selling this
product do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms and
conditions of the warranty.
EXCLUSIONS:
The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from
any of the following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or
current, improper routine maintenance, use contrary to the operating instructions,
disassembly, repair, or alteration by anyone other than qualied SENSIO Inc.
personnel. Also, the warranty does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods,
hurricanes, or tornadoes.
SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages
caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent
prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness
for a particular purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty. Some
states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, and therefore, the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to
you. The warranty covers specic legal rights which may vary by state, province
and/or jurisdiction.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number: 1-866-832-4843.
A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues
over the phone. If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the
problem, you will be provided with a case number and asked to return the product
to SENSIO Inc. Attach a tag to the product that includes: your name, address,
daytime contact telephone number, case number, and description of the problem.
Also, include a copy of the original sales receipt. Carefully package the tagged
product with the sales receipt, and send it (with shipping and insurance prepaid)
to SENSIO Inc.’s address. SENSIO Inc. shall bear no responsibility or liability for
the returned product while in transit to SENSIO Inc.’s Customer Service Center.

2. Si el electrodoméstico se cae o accidentalmente se sumerge en agua,

NOTAS SOBRE EL ENCHUFE
Este electrodoméstico tiene un enchufe polarizado (una pata es más ancha que
la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de descargas eléctricas, el enchufe puede encajar
de una sola manera en un tomacorriente polarizado. Si el enchufe no encaja bien
en el tomacorriente, darlo vuelta. Si aun así no encaja, comunicarse con
un electricista calicado. No realizar ningún tipo de modicación al enchufe.
NOTAS SOBRE EL CABLE
a) Se debe utilizar un cable de alimentación corto (o un cable de alimentación

b) Existen cables de alimentación desconectables más largos o prolongadores
y pueden usarse si se hace con precaución.
c) Si se utiliza un cable de alimentación desconectable más largo o un

Descripción del tostador
El producto puede diferir levemente de las ilustraciones
Antes de usar por primera vez
1. Quitar todo el material de embalaje incluido aquel que pueda estar dentro de las ranuras de tostado
o la ranura de palanca de tostado.
2. Limpiar el exterior de acero inoxidable con un paño húmedo. Secar bien. No utilizar limpiadores
abrasivos.
3. No sumergir el tostador, el cable, ni el enchufe en agua.
4. Asegurarse de que ambas bandejas para migas estén trabadas en la parte inferior del tostador
y que las palancas de tostado izquierda y derecha estén en la posición UP (Arriba).
5. Desenrollar el cable de alimentación del área de almacenamiento del cable en la parte inferior del
tostador y enchufarlo en un tomacorriente de 120 V CA.
6. Girar los selectores de control de dorado izquierdo y derecho a (1), el ajuste más claro.
7. Bajar ambas palancas de tostado izquierda y derecha hasta que se traben en su lugar.
Se recomienda hacer funcionar el tostador durante dos ciclos de tostado, pero sin pan,
antes de usarlo por primera vez.
NOTA: El tostador puede emitir un humo ligero en el primer uso. Esto es normal y no perjudica
el desempeño del tostador.
Guías de centrado automático
Bajar la palanca izquierda o derecha o ambas palancas de tostado cierra las guías de centrado y mantiene
el pan o los alimentos para tostar en el centro de las ranuras de tostado.
NOTA: Las palancas de tostado no se trabarán a menos que el tostador esté enchufado a un tomacorriente
de 120 V CA.

Instrucciones de tostado
1. Antes de tostar, asegurarse de que las bandejas para migas izquierda y derecha estén en posición
en la parte inferior del tostador y que las palancas de tostado izquierda y derecha estén en
la posición UP (Arriba).
2. Asegurarse de que no haya pan ni otros objetos dentro de las ranuras de tostado.
Colocar el tostador sobre una supercie plana, nivelada y resistente al calor.
3. Retirar todos los envoltorios de protección de los alimentos antes de colocarlos en las ranuras
de tostado.
IMPORTANTE: Evitar tostar rebanadas de pan rotas o trozos pequeños de alimentos para tostar
que podrían quedar atascados en las ranuras de tostado.
4. Enchufar el cable de alimentación a un tomacorriente de 120 V CA.
5. Colocar el pan o los alimentos para tostar en 1 a 4 de las ranuras de tostado. Bajar las palancas
de tostado izquierda o derecha correspondientes hasta que estén trabadas en su lugar. Las guías
de centrado automático mantienen los alimentos en posición vertical para un tostado uniforme
de lado a lado. Cuando el pan se baja a su posición, se iluminarán los botones CANCEL (Cancelar)
izquierdo o derecho correspondientes, y comenzará el tostado.
NOTA: Las palancas de tostado no se trabarán en su posición a menos que el tostador esté
enchufado a un tomacorriente de 120 V CA.
NOTA: Al tostar una sola rebanada, el pan se puede colocar en cualquier ranura de tostado.
NOTA: Para evitar un peligro de incendio, nunca se debe colocar pan sobre la abertura del tostador;
colocar siempre el pan en las ranuras.
NOTA: NO cambiar la selección de dorado durante el ciclo de tostado. Presionar cualquier botón
CANCEL (Cancelar) iluminado; a continuación, girar el selector de control de dorado para ajustar.
Bajar las palancas de tostado izquierda o derecha correspondientes y tostar hasta que se logre el
color deseado.
6. Al nal del ciclo de tostado, el pan o los alimentos para tostar se elevarán automáticamente.
Utilizar la palanca de elevación alta para quitar alimentos para tostar más pequeños o panes como
panecillos ingleses.
7. Quitar el pan de las ranuras de tostado. Tener cuidado al quitar el pan, ya que el pan y la parte
superior del tostador todavía estarán calientes.
IMPORTANTE: Nunca utilizar un tenedor ni un utensilio de borde alado para retirar alimentos
tostados, podría dañar los elementos de calentamiento o causar lesiones.
8. Para interrumpir el tostado, presionar el botón CANCEL (Cancelar) izquierdo o derecho iluminado,
o ambos.
9. Desenchufar el cable del tomacorriente de pared antes de limpiarlo y cuando no se utilice.
No intentar desatascar alimentos mientras el tostador esté enchufado.
Ciclo de recalentar
1. Utilizar la función de recalentar para calentar pan tostado o cualquier alimento para tostar que
se haya enfriado. Girar el selector de control de dorado hasta Reheat (Recalentar).
NOTA: Este tostador tiene un ajuste especial para recalentar las tostadas, que anula el ajuste
de dorado del tostador.
IMPORTANTE: Utilizar el ciclo REHEAT (Recalentar) SOLAMENTE con tostadas sin manteca.
2. Colocar el pan en 1 a 4 de las ranuras de tostado.
3. Bajar las palancas de tostado izquierda o derecha correspondientes hasta que estén trabadas en
su lugar. Las guías de centrado automático mantienen los alimentos en posición vertical para un
tostado uniforme de lado a lado. Los botones CANCEL (Cancelar) correspondientes se iluminarán
y comenzará el ciclo REHEAT (Recalentar).
4. Al nal del ciclo REHEAT (Recalentar), las palancas de tostado, el pan o los alimentos para tostar
recalentados se elevarán automáticamente y el tostador se apagará.
5. Retirar el pan o los alimentos para tostar de las ranuras de tostado. Tener cuidado ya que la parte
superior del tostador aún estará caliente.
IMPORTANTE: Nunca utilizar un tenedor ni un utensilio de borde alado para retirar alimentos
tostados, podría dañar los elementos de calentamiento o causar lesiones.
6. Para interrumpir el ciclo REHEAT (Recalentar), presionar los botones CANCEL (Cancelar) iluminados
correspondientes.
7. Desenchufar el cable del tomacorriente de pared cuando no se utilice.

Botón Cancel (Cancelar)
1. Cuando se baja la palanca de tostado, se iluminarán los botones CANCEL (Cancelar)
correspondientes y se iniciará el tostado.
2. Para detener o interrumpir cualquier ciclo de tostado, presionar los botones CANCEL (Cancelar)
iluminados. El pan o los alimentos para tostar se elevarán automáticamente; el tostador se apagará.
3. Desenchufar el cable del tomacorriente de pared cuando no se utilice.
Tostado de alimentos precocidos
Hoy en día, hay muchas variedades de alimentos precocidos envasados, tanto congelados como
no congelados (pasteles de expendio). Dado que los alimentos para tostar y los gustos individuales varían,
es difícil recomendar ajustes exactos de dorado. Sin embargo, después de un poco de experimentación
descubrirá el mejor ajuste para sus necesidades. También puede consultar las instrucciones de
calentamiento en el envase de alimentos precocidos.
Pasteles para tostar
Para obtener mejores resultados, seguir las instrucciones impresas en el paquete de los pasteles.
Si el paquete no tiene instrucciones, colocar el selector de control de dorado izquierdo o derecho

Pasteles de expendio sin congelar
Girar los selectores de control de dorado izquierdo o derecho correspondientes a un ajuste más claro.
Para alimentos precocidos más gruesos, puede ser necesario ajustar los selectores de control de dorado
a un ajuste más alto/ciclo de tostado más largo.
Quitar alimentos atascados
NOTA: Este tostador cuenta con una función antiatascos. Si cualquier tostada o alimento para tostar
se atasca, el tostador se apagará automáticamente.
1. Si, luego del tostado, un trozo de pan o de otros alimentos para tostar se atasca en cualquiera
de las ranuras de tostado, desenchufar el tostador y dejar que se enfríe.
2. Sujetar la palanca de tostado hacia abajo. Dar vuelta el tostador y agitar para aojar los alimentos.
IMPORTANTE: Nunca utilizar un tenedor ni un utensilio de borde alado para retirar alimentos
tostados, podría dañar los elementos de calentamiento o causar lesiones.
3. Limpiar una o ambas bandejas para migas y volver a colocarlas.
Puntos importantes
• Retirar todos los envoltorios de protección de los alimentos antes de colocarlos en las ranuras de
tostado.
• Para obtener resultados óptimos, limpiar las bandejas para migas de forma frecuente.
• Los diferentes panes requieren diferentes ajustes de color. Presionar el botón CANCEL (Cancelar)
iluminado en cualquier momento para comprobar el color de las tostadas.
• No bloquear las ranuras de tostado extra anchas. Nunca se debe colocar ningún objeto sobre
la abertura superior.
• No tostar pan con manteca, tostadas texanas con manteca, panecillos ingleses con manteca,
bagels con manteca o pan de pita con manteca. La manteca derretida puede causar incendios
• Cuando se tuesta más de una rebanada de pan, colocar rebanadas de tamaño, grosor y frescura
similares.
• El pan duro, el pan de poco espesor o los productos panicados dulces, tales como los pasteles
para la hora del té y los panes de fruta, se doran mucho más rápido que el pan común, de modo
que deben tostarse en los ajustes más claros.
• Nunca se debe sumergir el tostador, el cable, ni el enchufe en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.

Instrucciones de mantenimiento para el usuario
Este electrodoméstico necesita poco mantenimiento. No contiene piezas que el usuario pueda reparar.
Cualquier tipo de mantenimiento (aparte de la limpieza) que requiera desarmar el aparato, debe hacerlo
un técnico calicado que repare electrodomésticos.
Instrucciones de cuidado y limpieza
PRECAUCIÓN: No sumergir el tostador, el cable, ni el enchufe en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
PRECAUCIÓN: Asegurarse de que el tostador esté desenchufado antes de limpiarlo.
BANDEJA PARA MIGAS: Ambas bandejas para migas izquierda y derecha se encuentran en la parte inferior
del tostador. Sobre un fregadero o receptáculo de basura, tirar de cada bandeja para migas de la parte
posterior para quitarlas. Limpiar las bandejas para migas con un paño húmedo y limpio. Volver a colocar

3. Nunca guardar el tostador enchufado ni mientras esté caliente.
4. Nunca enrollar el cable con rmeza alrededor del electrodoméstico, utilizar el área
de almacenamiento ubicada en la parte inferior del tostador.
5. No aplicar tensión en el cable en la parte que ingresa en la unidad, ya que podría pelarse y romperse.

Garantía limitada de DOS AÑOS
