FEATURES
• The twilight switch is an automatic ON/O switch for electrical lighting.
• When the light fades in the evening, the lighting will be switched on as the set LUX value
is reached, and it will be switched o aat dawn when the light level is sucient.
• A time delay of about 60 sec prevents false triggering due to unexpected temporary
inuences (e.g., lightning, passing cars, etc).
Select a proper location
• 1. The best position to install the twilight switch is on an outside wall. Direct sun-
light should be avoided (See g. 1).
• 2. Please ensure that no articial light is aimed at the sensor, such as the connected
lighting (See g. 2).
• 3. Avoid installation which might cause nuisance triggering.
Installation procedure
• 1. Insert the two rubber gaskets into the two cable entry holes at the bottom case
(See g. 3).
• 2. Insert the cables through the bottom case and connect the cables with terminal
block, refer to instruction in g. 4 and g. 5.
• 3. Arrange the cables with a cable clamp and secure with screws. The terminal block has
to be squeezed in between two bosses at the bottom case (See g. 6).
• 4. Assemble top case with bottom case, and secure with screws. Make sure that the
marks on the bottom and top case are aligned (See g. 7).
• 5. This product can be mounted on wall with screws or tied on a pole (such as electric
pole, wood pillar, etc.) with the top cover up (See g. 8).
SETTINGS
LUX Adjustment
• 1. Make the adjustment at the time of the day when the daylight reaches the level which
you wish the load to turn on.
• 2. Turn the LUX knob anti-clockwise to min. LUX value, then turn slowly clockwise toward
max. LUX value until LED turns on. Load will be switched on approx. 60 sec after LED
turns on (See g. 9).
LUX Light on value Light o value Timer reset value
() min Approx. 5 Lux Approx. 25 Lux Approx. 60LUX
() max Approx. 300LUX Approx. 500LUX Approx. 800LUX
OPERATION
• 1. The LUX value can be set via LUX knob.
- a. Set the ON LUX value.
• 2. The load will switch on/o 60 seconds after the LED turns on/o. Refer to the following
for more detailed information:
- a. The LED turns on when the actual light level reaches the preset ON LUX
value, the load will turn on 60 seconds later.
- b. The LED turns o when the actual light level exceeds the preset O LUX
value, the load will turn o 60 seconds later.
• 3. If the actual light level keeps being higher than the preset reset LUX value for
more than 10 minutes or the power is disconnected for more than 5 seconds, the switch
ON time will be reset.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
If the twilight switch is not working properly, please check possible causes and suggested solu-
tions in the table below. If that does not solve your problem, please contact a qualied electrician.
