FIVE (5) YEAR WARRANTY
WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this fixture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of
purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product
is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the
manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alteration,
neglect, or mishandling. This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up, or used in any
way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of
an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship.
This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear
and tear.

□ For your protection and safety, carefully read and understand
the information provided in this manual completely before
attempting to assemble, install, or operate this product. Failure
to do so could lead to electrical shock, re, or other injuries that
could be hazardous or even fatal.
□ Before touching any wire, use a voltage tester to make sure it
is not live.
□ When replacing fuses, turn off the main power rst. Make sure
your hands and feet are dry, and place one hand behind your
back to prevent electricity from making a complete circuit
through your chest. Touch the plug fuse only by its insulated
rim. Remove cartridge fuses with a fuse puller.
□ Use tools with insulated handles and ladders made of wood or
berglass.
□ To protect children, place a safety cover over any unused
outlets.
IMPORTANT: Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts,
abrasions, or exposed copper that may have occurred
during shipping. If there is a defect in the wire, do not

□ Screw the threaded tube (CC) into the mounting strip (AA), and
secure it using the lock washer (EE) and hex nut (DD).
□ Fasten the mounting strip (AA) onto the outlet box using two
outlet box screws (BB).
□ Place the canopy (A) over the threaded tube (CC), and screw
the screw collar loop (HH) onto the threaded tube (CC).
□ Secure the canopy (A) using the ring (II).
□ Guide the xture wire with bare copper ground wire through
the column assembly (D) and loop (C), then tighten the column
assembly (D) onto the bushing on the xture body (F) and
tighten the loop (C) onto the top of the column assembly (D).
□ Hook one end of the 27 glass bead strand (E) onto the holes of
the cap of the column assembly (D) and the other end onto the
holes of the xture body (F) as shown on the diagram.
□ Repeat this step on the remaining glass bead strands.

NOTE: The threaded tube (CC) should extend long
enough to protrude through the canopy, when it is
mounted. (Adjust as needed.)

□ Adjust the chain (B) to the desired height by spreading the
end link of the chain (B) apart. Use a pair of pliers and a
screwdriver. Wrap a soft cloth around the pliers to protect the
chain’s nish.
□ Open the rst quick link (JJ), connect chain (B) to the loop (C)
and close the quick link (JJ).
□ Open the second quick link (JJ), connect other end of chain
(B) to the screw collar loop (HH) and close the quick link (JJ).
□ Unscrew the ring (II) from the screw collar loop (HH), and lower
the canopy (A) and ring (II) over the chain (B) on the xture.
□ Weave the xture wires and bare copper ground wire up
through the chain (B), ring (II), canopy (A), screw collar loop (HH),
threaded tube (CC), and then into the outlet box.

□ Strip 3/4 in. of insulation from the wire ends.
□ Connect the glossy live wire from the xture to the black
wire from the outlet box, and the rough neutral wire from the
xture to the white wire from the outlet box.
□ The bare copper ground wire from the xture must loop
one turn under the head of the green ground screw (FF) on
the mounting strip (AA) before it is connected to the ground
conductor of the supply circuit.
□ Cover the wires with wire connectors (GG). Tape the wire
connectors (GG) and wires together, and carefully position all
wires inside the outlet box.

the rough neutral wire has the ridge on it.

□ Raise the canopy (A) all the way up to the ceiling, and tighten
the ring (II) onto the screw collar loop (HH) until the canopy (A)
is rmly held against the ceiling.
□ Screw the nial with glass strand (G) to the bushing at the
bottom of the xture body (F).

□ Install the light bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Use ve 60-watt candelabra base (E12) type “B” bulbs.

Care and Cleaning
Troubleshooting
□ Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry, soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.
□ To clean the xture, disconnect power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Use a dry or
slightly dampened, clean cloth to wipe the exterior surface of the xture.
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The lights will not turn on. The bulb is burned out. Replace the light bulb.
The power is off. Ensure the power supply is turned on.
There is a faulty switch. Test or replace the switch.
There is a faulty wire connection. Check the wiring.
The fuse blows or the circuit breaker
trips when the light is turned on.
There are crossed wires or the power
wire is grounding out.
Discontinue use of the lamp. Check the wire connections.

□ Enrosque el tubo roscado (CC) en la regleta de montaje (AA) y
fíjelo con la arandela de seguridad (EE) y la tuerca hexagonal
(DD).
□ Fije la regleta de montaje (AA) en la caja de distribución
mediante dos tornillos de la caja de distribución (BB).
□ Coloque la base (A) sobre el tubo roscado (CC) y enrosque
la argolla roscada con anillo de retención (HH) en el tubo
roscado (CC).
□ Fije la base (A) con la anilla (II).
□ Pase el cable de la lámpara y el cable desnudo de cobre a
tierra a través del ensamble de la columna (D) y el bucle (C); a
continuación, je el ensamble de la columna (D) en el casquillo
del cuerpo de la lámpara (F) y je el bucle (C) en la parte
superior del ensamble de la columna (D).
□ Cuelgue un extremo de la tira de 27 cuentas de cristal (E) en los
oricios del casquillo del ensamble de la columna (D) y el otro
extremo en los oricios del cuerpo de la lámpara (F) como se
muestra en el diagrama.
□ Repita este paso con las tiras de cuentas de cristal restantes.

OBSERVACIÓN: Cuando se instale, el tubo roscado
(CC) debe sobresalir lo justo por la base. (Ajústelo según

□ Ajuste la cadena (B) a la altura deseada para alargar el
enlace del extremo de la cadena (B). Utilice unos alicates y un
destornillador. Enrolle un trapo suave alrededor de los alicates
para proteger el acabado de la cadena.
□ Abra el primer eslabón de enganche rápido (JJ), conecte la
cadena (B) a la argolla (C) y cierre el eslabón de enganche
rápido (JJ).
□ Abra el segundo eslabón de enganche rápido (JJ), conecte el
otro extremo de la cadena (B) a la argolla roscada con anillo
(HH) y cierre el eslabón de enganche rápido (JJ).
□ Desenrosque la anilla (II) de la argolla roscada con anillo de
retención (HH) y baje la base (A) y la anilla (II) por la cadena (B)
de la lámpara.
□ Entrelace los cables de la lámpara y el cable desnudo de cobre
a tierra hacia la parte superior de la cadena (B), anilla (II), base
(A), argolla roscada con anillo de retención (HH) y tubo roscado
(CC) y, a continuación, introdúzcalos en la caja de distribución.

Entrelazado del cable de la lámpara
□ Pele unos 2 cm del aislamiento de los extremos de los cables.
□ Conecte el cable vivo lustroso de la lámpara al cable negro de
la caja de distribución y el cable neutro rugoso de la lámpara
al cable blanco de la caja de distribución.
□ El cable desnudo de cobre a tierra de la lámpara debe
engancharse un giro por debajo de la cabeza del tornillo de
toma a tierra verde (FF) en la regleta de montaje (AA), antes
de conectarlo al conductor a tierra de la red eléctrica.
□ Cubra los cables con los conectores de cables (GG). Junte
con cinta adhesiva los conectores de cables (GG) y los cables,
y coloque con cuidado todos los cables dentro de la caja de
distribución.

(A) quede rmemente sujeta contra el techo.

□ Instale las bombillas (no incluidas) en los casquillos. Utilice cinco bombillas con base tipo candelabro (E12) de 60 W de tipo “B”.

9 W como máximo (se venden por separado). No supere la potencia en vatios recomendada.

Mantenimiento y limpieza
Reparación de averías
□ No emplee productos de limpieza que contengan químicos, disolventes ni abrasivos. Utilice únicamente un paño seco para quitar
el polvo o limpiar con cuidado.
□ Para limpiar la lámpara, desconecte la alimentación apagando el disyuntor del circuito o retirando el fusible de la caja de fusibles.
Utilice un paño suave seco o ligeramente mojado para limpiar la supercie exterior de la lámpara.
Problema Posible causa Solución
Las luces no se encenderán. La bombilla está quemada. Sustituya la bombilla.
La alimentación está apagada. Asegúrese de que la fuente de alimentación está
encendida.
Hay un interruptor defectuoso. Inspeccione o sustituya el interruptor.
Hay una conexión de cables

El fusible se quema o se activa el
