If the heater will not operate, see specific instructions on Auto Safety Shut-off. 18. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only. 19. Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other high wattage appliances in the same outlet. At 1500 Watts, this unit draws 12.5 Amps. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS To take advantage of the 1Touch® Thermostat continue to press the MODE/OFF button until the desired temperature is set in either the HIGH or LOW setting. When ambient temperature rises above the set temperature, the heater will stop. When the ambient temperature drops below the set temperature, the heater will turn on automatically. NOTE: When the 1Touch® thermostat is set, either the HIGH or LOW power light, and the set temperature light will remain lit during operation. (See Figure 1) NOTE: It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the preset temperature. To prevent the unit from cycling, you need to raise the thermostat setting. NOTE: 1Touch® has memory. The 1Touch® thermostat will remember the previous temperature setting after the unit has been turned off. However, if the unit is unplugged, the 1Touch® thermostat will be reset and will no longer remember the previous temperature setting. WALL MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS F E AT U R E S - O P E R AT I O N S CLEANING/MAINTENANCE 3. Place mounting tab through the mounting hole and turn heater into the upright position to lock it in place. Please Note: Due to the multitude of potential mounting surfaces, mounting screws are not included with this product. HI A B MODE/OFF BUTTON HIGH POWER LOW POWER SET TEMPERATURE LIGHTS CLEANING/MAINTENANCE During Season Care: 1. Always unplug the heater before cleaning. 2. Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution. 3. NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean the unit. 4. After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel. Figure 2 After Season Care: 1. Store heater in a cool, dry location. 2. The manufacturer recommends that you store the unit in its original carton. TROUBLESHOOTING If your heater fails to operate: • UNPLUG THE UNIT. • Make sure the electrical outlet or circuit breaker is working. • Check for obstructions. If you find an obstruction turn the heater OFF, and unplug the unit. Carefully remove the obstruction and follow the reset instructions. Please DO NOT attempt to open or repair the heater. Please see the Warranty for Service Instructions. 1. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall as shown.
