This product was pre-tested before shipment and date coded. In keeping with the National Electrical Code, this product is intended for residential

seasonal installation and use (90 days max. per year). Nicolas Holiday Ltd.’s 2-year Limited Guarantee covers repair or replacement (same or

equivalent) of this product within two (2) years from the date of purchase. Troubleshooting tips are on your use and care guide included in this box. If

troubleshooting is unsuccessful, send your product prepaid along with a legible copy of your sales receipt to St. Nick’s Fix, 246 Spring Hill Road,

Trumbull, CT 06611, Attention: Customer Service. Providing the original UPC code will help expedite your request. When mailing the product back to

us, please include your name, return address, contact phone number, and e-mail address. Allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for processing. For more

EXCLUSIONS

This product is guaranteed only if it is used as intended. All accessories that may be packed with this product, such as clips and stakes, are guaranteed

for the first season only. This Limited Guarantee does not cover: 1) commercial applications, 2) burned out bulbs/LEDs, 3) misuse or tampering, 4)

batteries, 5) damage caused by improper consumer handling, or 6) components that may weather, age or discolor due to a chemical reaction when

exposed to UV, oils, heat, acid rain, atmospheric oxygen and some salts.

ANY IMPLIED GUARANTEES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED GUARANTEES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR

A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE. OTHERWISE THE REPAIR OR

REPLACEMENT, AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE, IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER, AND IS

PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL NICOLAS HOLIDAY, LTD. BE LIABLE,

WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE

PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT

OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE PRODUCT TO THE FULL EXTENT THESE DAMAGES MAY BE DISCLAIMED

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed

including the following:

INSTRUCTIONS.

Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and

outdoor use. When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the product

to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a

qualified electrician for proper installation.

This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.

Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplace, candles or other

similar sources of heat.

Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp

hooks or nails.

Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.

Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left

unattended.

This is an electric product-not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and

electric shock it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach

it.

Do not use this product for other than its intended use.

Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.

Do not place lighting string on carpeting, drapes, furniture, or allow it to contact

vinyl siding while the power is on.

Do not perform any maintenance or troubleshoot for bad or broken lamps while

the power is on.

Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may

damage the wire insulation.

Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the product

when in use.

This product is equipped with push-in type lamps. Do not twist lamps.

This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an

overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the

outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the

product. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product

marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse

blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded.

Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the

product.

Use and Care Instructions

) When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well maintained

and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off

easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.

b) If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well secured and stable.

c) Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have

cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lampholders or

enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.

d) When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is

placed, including tree branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue strain or stress on

the product conductors, connections, and wires.

e) When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.

User Servicing Instructions

Fuse replacement:

Most often, fuses blow because too many sets have been strung end-to-end.

a) Before changing fuses, make sure the set is unplugged.

b) Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device

Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

c) Using a flathead screwdriver, open fuse cover. Slide open

the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.

d) Removes fuses carefully.

e) Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse

(provided with product).

f) Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of current tap.

Make sure door is fully closed and fuses are completely covered.

Risk of fire. Do not replace current tap. Contains a safety device

(fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the current tap

is damaged.

If the spare bulbs provided with the product have no plastic base or

the plastic base does not fit , first follow steps 1 – 2 above. Then

Remove the old bulb by straightening the bulb wires and

pulling bulb straight from the base.

Replace the new bulb by straightening the bulb leads and

aiming each wire into a separate hole in the plastic base.

Make sure each bulb lead comes out an exit opening at the bottom of the plastic

base.

Now bend each lead up such that each bulb lead fits closely agains the narrow

side of the plastic base.

If a damaged or burned out bulb needs to be replaced, we recommend wearing

gloves throughout the replacement process.

While holding the sphere with one hand, use a tool to grab the damaged bulb

closest to the husk and gently pull straight up and out of the socket. Insert the

spare replacement bulb that is provided with this product into the empty socket.

1. This lighting string is rated 40.8 Watts (0.34 Amps), do not

overload. Connect other lighting strings or decorative outfits

end-to-end up to a maximum of 216 Watts (1.8 Amps) total. Do not interconnect

different types of products. If connecting to a lighting string that does not have a

Wattage (W) rating {found on the tag within 6 inches of the plug} calculate the

wattage as follows

: Multiply the current (0.34A) which is on the flag-type tag

by 120.

For example: Lighting string is rated 120 V, 60 Hz, 0.34 Amps. 0.34 X 120 =

40.8 Watts

Add the wattage of each light string together for a total of 216 Watts or less.

(Do not exceed 216 Watts.)

2. To reduce the risk of over heating, replace burned-out lamps promptly. Use 2.5

Volt, 0.425 Watt lamps only.

3. Do not hang the 100lt ornament ball from plug or plug cord. Install the 100lt

ornament ball using the included clear nylon string. The weight of the ornament

ball should be supported only by the clear nylon string not the plug cord or plug.

Tie ornament ball to the tree branches or limbs, porch overhangs, gutters or eves

to create a decorative effect.

IMPORTANTES INSTRUCCIONES SOBRE SEGURIDAD

Cuando se usan productos eléctricos se deben seguir siempre precauciones básícas

lincluyendo las siguientes:

a) LEA Y SIGA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES SOBRE SEGURIDAD

b) No use productos de temporada en exteriores a menos que sean adecuados para el uso en interiores y

exteriores. Cuando los productos se usen en aplicaciones en exteriores, conéctelos a un tomacorriente

con interruptor de circuito de falla conectado a tierra (GFCI). De no existir, comuníquese con un

electricista calificado para su instalación adecuada.

c) Este producto de temporada no está concebido para la instalación ni el uso permanentes.

d) No lo instale ni coloque cerca de calentodores a gas o eléctricos, chimeneas, velas ni ninguna otra fuente

de color similar.

esté en uso.

o) Este producto está equipado con bombillas de presión. No enrosque las bombillas.

p) Este producto emplea protección contra sobrecargas (fusible). Un fusible quemado indica una situación

de sobrecargo o cortocircuito. Si el fusible se quema, desenchufe el producto del tomacorriente.

Desenchufe también cualquier línea adicional o producto conectado a este producto. Reemplace el

fusible según las instrucciones de servicio para el usuario (respete la calificación del fusible indicada en el

mismo) y revise el producto. Si el fusible de reemplazo se quema, puede haber haber uncortocircuito y el

producto debe ser desechado.

q) Lea y siga todas las instrucciones que aparecen en el producto o que se incluyen con el mismo.

CONSERVE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO Y CUIDADO

a) Cuando coloque el producto en un árbol vivo, el árbol debe estar bien conservado y fresco. No lo

coloque en árboles vivos cuyas agujas tengan un color marrón o se rompan fácilmente. Mantenga el

recipiente del árbol lleno de agua.

b) Si el producto se coloca sobre un árbol, dicho árbol debe estar bien fijo y estable.

) Antes de usar o reusar, inspeccione el producto cuidadasamente. Deseche todo producto que tenga

cables o alambres cortodos, dañados o con el aislamiento raído, grietas en los portalámparas o soportes,

conexiones sueltas o alambres de cobre expuestos.

Cuando vaya a guardar el producto, retírelo con cuidado de donde se haya colocado, ya sean ramas

de árboles o arbustos, para evitar cualquier tension excesiva en los conductores, conexiones y

alambres del producto.

e) Cuando no esté en uso, guardelo de manera organizada en un lugar seco, fresco y protegido de la

luz solar.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SERVICIO PARA EL USUARIO

Reemplazo del fusible:

Con frecuencia, los fusibles se queman

porque se han conectado

Demasiados juegos de punta a punta.

a) Antes de cambiar los fusibles, asegúrese de desenchufar el juego.

b) Tome el enchufe y retírelo del tomacorriente o de la toma del

otro aparato.No hale el cable para desenchufarlo.

c) Usando un destornillador plano, abra la cubierta de los fusibles.

Abra la cubierta de accesoa los fusibles ubicada en la parte superior

del enchufe deslizándola hacia las patas.

d) Retire los fusibles con cuidado.

e) Riesgo de incendio. Reemplace el fusible sólo con un fusible de

3 amperios y125 voltios (se induye con el producto).

Cierre la cubierta de los fusibles. Deslícela sobre el enchufe para cerrarla. Asegúresede

que quede completamente cerrada y que los fusibles estén completamente cubiertos.

Riesgo de incendio. No reemplace el enchufe. Este contiene un dispositivo

de seguridad (fusible) que no se debe retirar. Deseche el producto si el enchufe está dañado.

amperios) en total. Si se conecta a un juego de luces que no tenga la calificación de vataje

de adorno debe ser sostenido solo por la línea de nilón transparente y no por el cable del
