1 IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
For the proper use, maintenance and storage of this battery, it
is crucially important that you read and understand the
instructions given in this manual.
To avoid serious injury, risk of fire, explosion and danger of
electric shock or electrocution:
• If the battery pack case is cracked or damaged, DO NOT
insert into the charger. Replace with a new battery pack.
• Charge the battery pack only with the recommended
charger.
• DO NOT try to short circuit any terminals of battery
pack.
WARNING
If the battery fluid gets in your eyes, flush immediately with
clean water for at least 15 minutes. Get immediate medical
attention. Do not charge the battery pack in rain or in wet
conditions. Do not immerse the tool, battery pack, or
charger in water or other liquid.
• Do not allow the battery pack or charger to overheat. If
they are warm, allow them to cool down. Recharge only
at room temperature.
• Do not place the battery pack in the sun or in a warm
environment. Keep at normal room temperature.
• Store in shady, cool and dry environments. If battery has
not been charged for an extended period of time, charge
for at least two (2) hours every two (2) months.
• The battery pack cells may develop a small leak under
extreme usage or temperature conditions. If the outer seal
is broken and the leakage gets on your skin:
- Use soap and water to wash immediately.
- Neutralize with lemon juice, vinegar, or other mild
liquid.
• If leakage gets in your eyes, follow instructions above
and seek medical attention.
• Please check prior use, if output voltage and current of
the battery charger is suitable for the battery pack.
• Use protective packaging when transporting battery pack.
• Handle with care.
• Keep away from humidity and fire.
2 SAFETY NOTES AND
PRECAUTIONS
• Do not disassemble the battery.
• Keep away from the children.
• Do not expose battery to water or salt.
• Battery should be stored in cool, dry location.
• Do not place the battery in high-temperature locations,
such as near a fire, heater, etc.
• Do not reverse the positive terminal and the negative
terminal of the battery.
• Do not connect the positive terminal and the negative
terminal of the battery to each other with any metal
objects.
• Do not knock, strike or step on the battery.
• Do not solder directly onto the battery or pierce the
battery with nails or other sharp tools.
• In the event that the battery leaks and the fluid gets into
one’s eye, do not rub the eye. Rinse thoroughly with
water.
• Immediately discontinue use of the battery, if, while
using, the battery emits an unusual smell, feels hot,
changes color, changes shape, or appears abnormal in any
other way.

5 PROPOSITION 65
WARNING
This product contains a chemical known to the state of
California to cause cancer, birth defects or other
reproductive harm. Some dust created by power sanding,
sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activities
contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or
other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals
are:
• Lead from lead-based paints;
• Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other
masonry products;
• Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.
Your risk of exposure to these chemicals varies depending
on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your
exposure to these chemicals, work in a well-ventilated area,
and work with approved safety equipment, such as dust
masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic
particles.
6 ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE
BATTERY DISPOSAL
WARNING
If the battery pack cracks or breaks, with or without leaks,
do not recharge it and do not use. Dispose of the battery and
replace with a new battery pack. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
REPAIR IT! To avoid injury and risk of fire, explosion, or
electric shock, and to avoid damage to the environment:
• Cover the battery’s terminals with heavy-duty adhesive
tape.
• DO NOT attempt to remove or destroy any of the
battery pack components.
• DO NOT attempt to open the battery pack.
• If a leak develops, the released electrolytes are
corrosive and toxic. DO NOT get the solution in the
eyes or on skin, and do not swallow it.
• DO NOT place these batteries in your regular
household trash.
• DO NOT incinerate.
• DO NOT place them where they will become part of
any waste landfill or municipal solid waste stream.
• Take them to a certified recycling or disposal center.
7 OPERATION
7.1 CHECK BATTERY CAPACITY
Press the battery capacity indicator (BCI) button. The lights
will illuminate according to the batteries capacity level. See
chart below:

4 Green Lights The battery is above 80% capacity
3 Green Lights The battery is between 80% and 60%
capacity.
2 Green Lights The battery is between 60% and 40%
capacity.
1 Green Light The battery is between 40% and 20%
capacity.
1 Blinking Green

capacity.
Lights go out The battery is less than 10% capacity
and requires charging immediately.

BATTERY PROTECTION FEATURES
This lithium-ion battery packs are designed with features that
protect the lithium-ion cells and maximize battery life.
If the tool stops during use, release the trigger to reset and
resume operation. If the tool still does not work, the battery
needs to be recharged.

The lithium-ion battery pack can be used in temperatures
down to -14°C (6.8°F). Put the battery pack on a tool and use
the tool in a light duty application. After about a minute, the
pack will warm up and begin operating normally.
7.2 CONNECT WITH APP (FOR
BATTERY WITH BLUETOOTH)
This App can provide remote battery locking/ unlocking, a
battery locate feature, a battery serial number, a battery
firmware, a battery temperature, a battery charger, mode
repairing and firmware updating.
• The APP is governed by separate terms and conditions
available for viewing through the mobile application.

Greenworks hereby warranties this product, to the original
purchaser with proof of purchase, for a period of four (4)
years against defects in materials, parts or workmanship.
Greenworks, at its own discretion will repair or replace any
and all parts found to be defective, through normal use, free
of charge to the customer. This warranty is valid only for
units which have been used for personal use that have not
been hired or rented for industrial/commercial use, and that
have been maintained in accordance with the instructions in
the owners’ manual supplied with the product from new.
ITEMS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY:
1. Any part that has become inoperative due to misuse,
commercial use, abuse, neglect, accident, improper
maintenance, or alteration; or
2. The unit, if it has not been operated and/or maintained in
accordance with the owner's manual; or
3. Normal wear;
4. Routine maintenance items such as lubricants, blade
sharpening;
5. Normal deterioration of the exterior finish due to use or
exposure.

1 INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ
IMPORTANTES
Pour l'utilisation adéquate, l'entretien et le rangement de cette
batterie, il est d'une importance capitale de lire et de
comprendre les instructions de ce manuel.
Pour éviter de graves blessures, le risque d'incendie,
d'explosion et le danger d'électrocution :
• Si la batterie est fissurée ou endommagée, NE l'insérez
PAS dans le chargeur. Remplacez-la par une nouvelle
batterie.
• Chargez la batterie uniquement avec le chargeur
recommandé.
• Ne tentez pas de court-circuiter les pôles de la batterie.
AVERTISSEMENT
Si vous recevez le liquide de la batterie dans les yeux,
rincez immédiatement à l'eau claire durant au moins 15
minutes. Appelez immédiatement un médecin. Ne chargez
pas la batterie sous la pluie ou dans des endroits humides.
Ne plongez pas l'outil, la batterie ou le chargeur dans l'eau
ou tout autre liquide.
• Ne laissez pas la batterie ou le chargeur s'échauffer. S'ils
sont chauds, laissez-les refroidir. Rechargez uniquement à
température ambiante.
• Ne laissez pas la batterie au soleil ou dans un
environnement chaud. Maintenez à température ambiante.
• Rangez dans un environnement ombragé, frais et sec. Si
la batterie n’a pas été chargée pendant une période
prolongée, chargez-la pendant au moins deux (2) heures
tous les deux (2) mois.
• La batterie peut présenter une légère fuite en cas
d'utilisation ou de température extrêmes. Si le joint
externe est endommagé et que le liquide entre en contact
avec votre peau :
- Utilisez du savon et de l'eau pour vous laver
immédiatement.
- Neutralisez avec du jus de citron, du vinaigre ou un
autre liquide doux.
• Si le liquide atteint vos yeux, suivez les instructions ci-
dessous et appelez un médecin.
• Veuillez vérifier avant utilisation si la tension de sortie et
le courant du chargeur de la batterie sont compatibles
avec le bloc-batterie.
• Utilisez un emballage protecteur lors du transport du
bloc-batterie.
• Maniez avec précaution.
• Maintenez éloigné de l'humidité et du feu.

• Si la batterie fuit et que du liquide atteint vos yeux, ne
vous frottez pas les yeux. Rincez soigneusement à l'eau
claire.
• Arrêtez immédiatement l’utilisation de la batterie, si,
lorsque vous l’utilisez, de celle-ci émane une odeur
inhabituelle, si elle est chaude, si elle change de couleur,
de forme, ou semble anormale d'une toute autre façon.

5 PROPOSITION 65
AVERTISSEMENT
Ce produit contient un produit chimique connu dans l'état

6 ÉLIMINATION DES
BATTERIES SANS DANGER
POUR L'ENVIRONNEMENT
AVERTISSEMENT
Si la batterie se fend ou se brise, avec ou sans fuites, ne la
rechargez pas et ne l'utilisez pas. Jetez-la et remplacez-la
par une nouvelle batterie. N’ESSAYEZ PAS DE LA
RÉPARER! Pour prévenir les blessures et les risques
d'incendie, d'explosion ou de choc électrique, et pour éviter
tout dommage à l'environnement :
• Recouvrez les pôles de la batterie avec du ruban adhésif
épais.
• N'essayez PAS d'enlever ou de détruire les composants
de la batterie.
• N'essayez PAS d'ouvrir ou de réparer la batterie.
• En cas de fuite, les électrolytes rejetés sont corrosifs et
toxiques. NE laissez PAS entrer la solution dans les
yeux ou en contact avec la peau et ne l’avalez pas.
• NE jetez PAS vos batteries usagées dans votre poubelle
à ordures ménagères.
• N’incinérez PAS les batteries.
• NE les mettez PAS dans un endroit où ils feront partie
d’un site d’enfouissement de déchets ou d’un flux de
déchets solides municipaux.
• Emmenez-les dans un centre de recyclage ou
d'élimination certifié.
7 UTILISATION
7.1 VÉRIFIEZ LA CAPACITÉ DE LA
BATTERIE
Appuyez sur le bouton indicateur de capacité de la batterie
(BCI). Les lumières s'allumeront en fonction du niveau de la
batterie. Voir le graphique ci-dessous :

ÉLÉMENTS DE PROTECTION DE BATTERIE
Cette batterie en lithium est conçue avec des composants qui
protègent les cellules en lithium et optimisent la durée de vie
de la batterie.
Si l'outil s'arrête en cours d'utilisation, relâchez la gâchette
pour réinitialiser et redémarrer. Si l'outil ne fonctionne pas, il
faut recharger la batterie.
UTILISATION PAR TEMPS FROID
La batterie en lithium peut être utilisée jusqu'à une
température de -14 °C (6,8 °F). Mettez la batterie sur l'outil et
utilisez l'outil en mode travail léger. Après environ une
minute, la batterie chauffera et commencera à fonctionner
normalement.
7.2 CONNEXION À L’APPLICATION

Cette application permet le verrouillage/déverrouillage à
distance de la batterie et comprend une fonction de
localisation de la batterie, le numéro de série de la batterie, le
micrologiciel de la batterie, l’indication de la température de
la batterie, un chargeur de batterie, un mode réparation et des
mises à jour du micrologiciel.
• L'Application est régie par des modalités distinctes qui
peuvent être consultées dans l'application mobile.

1 INSTRUCCIONES
IMPORTANTES DE
SEGURIDAD
Para el uso, mantenimiento y almacenamiento adecuados de
esta batería, es de vital importancia que lea y entienda las
instrucciones que se dan en este manual.
Para evitar lesiones graves, el riesgo de incendio, explosión y
el peligro de descarga eléctrica o electrocución:
• Si la carcasa de la batería está agrietada o dañada, NO la
inserte en el cargador. Sustituya por una batería nueva.
• Cargue la batería únicamente con el cargador
recomendado.
• NO intente cortocircuitar los terminales de la batería.
AVISO
Si le entra fluido de batería en los ojos, lave inmediatamente
con agua limpia durante al menos 15 minutos. Busque
atención médica inmediata. No cargue la batería bajo la
lluvia o en condiciones de humedad. No sumerja la
herramienta, la batería ni el cargador en agua u otro líquido.
• No permita que la batería o el cargador se sobrecaliente.
Si están calientes, deje que se enfríen. Recargue
únicamente a temperatura ambiente.
• No coloque la batería al sol o en un entorno cálido.
Manténgala a temperatura ambiente normal.
• Almacene en entornos frescos, secos y a la sombra. Si la
batería no se ha cargado durante un periodo de tiempo
prolongado, cárguela durante al menos dos (2) horas cada
dos (2) meses.
• Las celdas de la batería pueden sufrir una pequeña fuga
en condiciones extremas de uso o temperatura. Si la junta
externa se rompe y la fuga entra en contacto con la piel:
- Utilice jabón y agua para lavar inmediatamente.
- Neutralice con zumo de limón, vinagre u otro
líquido suave.
• Si la fuga entra en contacto con los ojos, siga las
instrucciones anteriores y busque atención médica.
• Antes del uso, compruebe si la tensión de salida y la
corriente del cargador de la batería son adecuadas para la
batería.
• Utilice un embalaje protector cuando transporte la batería.
• Manipule con cuidado.
• Mantenga lejos de la humedad y el fuego.

SEGURIDAD
• No desmonte la batería.
• Mantenga lejos de los niños.
• No exponga la batería al agua o a la sal.
• La batería debe almacenarse en un lugar fresco y seco.
• No coloque la batería en lugares con temperatura elevada,
como cerca de una chimenea, un calentador, etc.
• No invierta el terminal positivo y el terminal negativo de
la batería.
• No conecte el terminal positivo y el terminal negativo de
la batería entre sí con un objeto metálico.
• No golpee, sacuda ni pise la batería.
• No suelde directamente sobre la batería ni perfore la
batería con clavos u otras herramientas afiladas.
• En caso de que la batería tenga fugas y el fluido entre en
contacto con los ojos, no se frote los ojos. Aclare bien
con agua.
• Deje de usar inmediatamente la batería si, durante el uso,
esta emite un olor anormal, se nota caliente, cambia de
color, cambia de forma o tiene un aspecto anormal de
alguna otra manera.

que los estudie y aprenda sus definiciones. La interpretación
correcta de estos símbolos le permite manejar la herramienta
mejor y de manera más segura.

AVISO
Este producto contiene una sustancia química conocida en
el estado de California como causante de cáncer, defectos
de nacimiento u otros daños reproductivos. El polvo
generado por el lijado eléctrico, el serrado, el esmerilado, la
perforación y otras actividades de construcción contiene
sustancias químicas que se sabe que son causantes de
cáncer, defectos de nacimiento u otros daños reproductivos.
Algunos ejemplos de estas sustancias químicas son:
• Plomo de pinturas con base de plomo;
• Sílice cristalina de ladrillos y cemento y otros productos
de albañilería;
• Arsénico y cromo de la madera tratada químicamente.
El riesgo de exposición a estas sustancias químicas varía
según la frecuencia con la que realice este tipo de trabajo.
Para reducir su exposición a estas sustancias químicas,
trabaje en una zona bien ventilada y trabaje con equipos de
seguridad aprobados, como máscaras antipolvo, que estén
especialmente diseñadas para filtrar partículas
microscópicas.
6 ELIMINACIÓN DE BATERÍA
SEGURA PARA EL MEDIO
AMBIENTE
AVISO
Si la batería se agrieta o se rompe, con o sin fugas, no la
recargue ni la utilice. Deseche la batería y sustitúyala por
una batería nueva. ¡NO INTENTE REPARARLA! Para
evitar lesiones y riesgos de incendio, explosión o descarga
eléctrica, así como para evitar daños al medio ambiente:
• Cubra los terminales de la batería con cinta adhesiva
resistente.
• NO intente retirar o destruir ninguno de los
componentes de la batería.
• NO intente abrir la batería.
• Si se produce una fuga, los electrolitos liberados son
corrosivos y tóxicos. NO deje que la solución entre en
contacto con los ojos o la piel, y no la ingiera.
• NO ponga estas baterías con la basura doméstica
normal.
• NO incinere.
• NO las deje en lugares donde formarán parte de
vertederos de residuos o flujos de residuos sólidos
urbanos.
• Llévelas a un centro de reciclaje o eliminación
certificado.
7 FUNCIONAMIENTO
7.1 COMPROBACIÓN DE LA
CAPACIDAD DE LA BATERÍA
Pulse el botón indicador de capacidad de la batería (BCI). Los
pilotos se iluminarán según el nivel de capacidad de las
baterías. Véase el siguiente cuadro:

FUNCIONES DE PROTECCIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
Estas baterías de iones de litio se han diseñado con funciones
que protegen las celdas de iones de litio y maximizan la vida
útil de la batería.
Si la herramienta se detiene durante el uso, suelte el gatillo
para restablecer y reanudar el funcionamiento. Si la
herramienta sigue sin funcionar, la batería debe recargarse.
FUNCIONAMIENTO EN CONDICIONES DE FRÍO
La batería de iones de litio puede utilizarse a temperaturas de
hasta -14°C (6,8°F). Coloque la batería en una herramienta y
utilice la herramienta en una aplicación de trabajo ligero.
Después de aproximadamente un minuto, la batería se
calentará y empezará a funcionar normalmente.
7.2 CONEXIÓN CON LA APLICACIÓN
(PARA BATERÍA CON
BLUETOOTH)
Esta aplicación puede proporcionar el bloqueo/desbloqueo
remoto de la batería, una función de localización de la batería,
un número de serie de la batería, un firmware de la batería,
una temperatura de la batería, un cargador de baterías, un
modo de reparación y la actualización del firmware.
• La aplicación se rige por las condiciones independientes
disponibles para su visualización a través de la aplicación

• Siga las instrucciones de la aplicación para crear su
cuenta.
NOTA
Si el tiempo de conexión es superior a 30 segundos, vuelva
a pulsar el botón indicador de batería para activar la batería

Por la presente Greenworks garantiza este producto, al
comprador original con el comprobante de compra, durante
un periodo de cuatro (4) años frente a defectos en materiales,
piezas o mano de obra. A su entera discreción Greenworks
reparará o sustituirá cualquiera y todas las piezas que resulten
ser defectuosas, con un uso normal, sin coste alguno para el
cliente. Esta garantía es válida únicamente para unidades que
se hayan utilizado para uso personal que no han sido
arrendadas o alquiladas para uso industrial/comercial y cuyo
mantenimiento se ha realizado de acuerdo con las
instrucciones del manual del propietario suministrado con el
producto nuevo.
ARTÍCULOS NO CUBIERTOS POR LA GARANTÍA:
1. Cualquier pieza que no funcione debido a mal uso, uso
comercial, abuso, negligencia, accidente, mantenimiento
inadecuado o alteración; o
2. La unidad, si no ha sido utilizada o mantenida de acuerdo
con el manual del propietario; o
3. Desgaste normal;
4. Artículos de mantenimiento de rutina tales como
lubricantes, afilado de cuchillas;
5. Deterioro normal del acabado exterior debido al uso o la
exposición.
