To Begin
Carefully unpack the product and check that all the parts are in the package, and are in good condition.
If the box, or any of the contents, appear damaged from shipping, or show signs of mishandling, save all
packaging and file a claim with the carrier immediately. Do not notify Chauvet. Failure to report damage to
the carrier immediately, or failure to have all packaging available for inspection, could invalidate your claim.
For other issues, such as missing components or parts, damage not related to shipping, or concealed
damage, file a claim with Chauvet within 7 days of delivery.

Product Description
The DMX-RT is a rugged and compact DMX recording device with trigger-able playback. The device can
copy, backup and transfer show files with a built-in micro SD card slot. The DMX-RT also includes a DC
power out for sensors that require DC power to operate.

AC Power
This product has an auto-ranging, external power supply that can work with an input voltage range of 100
to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz; it runs on 12 VDC, 1A.
Basic Set-up
Below are some basic instructions to get started. Chauvet recommends downloading and reading the User
Manual from www.chauvetdj.com before using this product.
Normal Closed
When DMX-RT is set to NC, it will not trigger until the circuit is opened or “turned Off”.
Normal Opened
When DMX-RT is set to NO, it will not trigger until the circuit is closed or “turned On”.
To eliminate wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of disuse completely
disconnect the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.

DMX Record and Playback Control
The DMX-RT works as a DMX controller by using the record and playback functions of the product. These
settings can be found in the SETUP main level of the menu map. Detailed instructions for connecting,
configuring, recording, and playback for this product’s DMX operation are in the User Manual. If you are

Descripción del producto

Produkt-beschreibung
Der DMX-RT ist einRobustes und kompaktes Gerät zur DMX-Aufnahme mit auslösbarer Wiedergabe. Das
Gerät eignet sich zum
Kopieren, Sichern und Übertragen der Show-Dateien per integriertem SD-
Kartensteckplatz. Der DMX-RT verfügt außerdem über einen Gleichstromausgang für mit Gleichstrom
betriebene Sensoren.

Préalable

Description de l'appareil
Le DMX-RT est un appareil d'enregistrement DMX compact et solide doté d'une fonctionnalité de
déclenchement de lecture. Grâce au lecteur de carte micro SD, l'appareil peut copier, sauvegarder et
transférer les fichiers composant votre spectacle. Le DMX-RT est également équipé d'une sortie
d'alimentation CC pour les capteurs qui en ont besoin pour fonctionner.

Normalement fermé
Lorsque le DMX-RT est paramétré sur NC(NF), il ne se déclenche pas avant que le circuit soit
ouvert ou "éteint".
Normalement ouvert
Lorsque le DMX-RT est paramétré sur NO, il ne se déclenche pas avant que le circuit soit fermé
ou "allumé".
Durant les périodes de non-utilisation, pour éviter tout usure et pour prolonger la
durée de vie, déconnectez entièrement l'appareil en le débranchant de
l'alimentation électrique ou en coupant le disjoncteur.

Impostazione di base

Normaal gesloten
Wanneer DMX-RT is ingesteld naar NC, wordt het niet geactiveerd totdat is circuit wordt
geopend of “uit wordt geschakeld”.
Normaal geopend
Wanneer DMX-RT is ingesteld naar NO, wordt het niet geactiveerd totdat is circuit wordt
gesloten of “wordt ingeschakeld”.
Om slijtage te elimineren en zijn levensduur te verlengen, gedurende perioden
wanneer het product niet wordt gebruikt, moet u de stroom afsluiten door een
aardlekschakelaar om te zetten of door het te ontkoppelen.

Menu opties
Aansturing van DMX-opname en afspelen
De DMX-RT werkt als een DMX-controller door de opname- en afspeelfuncties van het product te
gebruiken. Deze instellingen zijn te vinden in het hoofdniveau SETUP van de menu map. Uitgebreide
instructies voor het aansluiten, configureren, opnemen en afspelen voor de DMX-bediening van dit product
