1.- IMPORTANTE Lean estas instrucciones antes de conectar este aparato por primera vez.

 La garantía del convector no cubrirá cualquier daño causado por la no observancia de alguna de estas instrucciones. Las

instrucciones deben conservarse para futuras referencias. Este manual debe ser conservado y dado a cualquier nuevo usuario.

 Este aparato pueden usarlo niños con edad de 8 años y superior y personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales

reducidas o falta de experiencia y conocimiento, si se les ha dado la supervisión o formación apropiadas respecto al uso del

aparato de una manera segura y comprenden los peligros que implica. Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato. La limpieza y

mantenimiento a realizar por el usuario no deben realizarlos los niños sin supervisión.

 Los niños desde 3 años y menores de 8 años deben sólo encender/apagar el aparato, siempre que este haya sido colocado o

instalado en su posición de funcionamiento normal prevista y que sean supervisados o hayan recibido instrucciones relativas al

uso del aparato de una forma segura y entiendan los riesgos que el aparato tiene. Los niños desde 3 años y menos de 8 años,

no deben enchufar, regular y limpiar el aparato o realizar operaciones de mantenimiento.

 Los niños menores de 3 años deben mantenerse fuera del alcance del aparato a menos que sean continuamente supervisados.

 Compruebe que el voltaje de la placa de características del convector coincide con el voltaje de la red donde se va a conectar.

 El uso de convectores está prohibido en presencia de gases, explosivos u objetos inflamables.

 No utilizar este aparato para secar ropa. No cubrir el aparato, ni colocar objetos en contacto con el mismo.

 Ni el cable de conexión ni otros objetos deben entrar en contacto con el convector.

 Las salidas y entradas de aire del convector aseguran el correcto funcionamiento y protegen al convector de

sobrecalentamientos. No se deben tapar nunca. No deje ningún objeto encima del convector, cubriendo la rejilla u

obstruyendo el flujo de aire.

 Este convector debe ser desconectado de la red eléctrica antes de efectuar cualquier reparación en su interior. Si quiere dejar

fuera de servicio el aparato desconéctelo de la instalación.

 El convector no debe ser usado justo debajo de una toma de corriente.

 El convector debe ser usado de tal forma que los interruptores u otros controles no puedan ser tocados por alguien que esté

usando el baño o la ducha. No toque nunca el convector estando descalzo o con las manos mojadas o húmedas.

 El convector está equipado con una manguera de conexión de 3 x 1,00 mm² que debe ser usada para conectar el aparato a la

red eléctrica de la vivienda a través de una caja de conexión adyacente.

 Si la manguera de conexión de esta unidad se encuentra dañada deberá ser sustituida con el fin de evitar un peligro, por un

servicio autorizado por el fabricante ya que se necesitan herramientas especiales.

 Es imprescindible que el aparato esté conectado a una buena toma de tierra.

 Todos los modelos incorporan un interruptor de seguridad. Este desconectará el convector si, por alguna razón, se

sobrecalienta. Si actuara el interruptor de seguridad, desconecte el convector, elimine la causa del sobrecalentamiento y el

convector se rearmará automáticamente.

 La presencia en el ambiente de humo, partículas en suspensión, polución atmosférica, etc., puede, oscurecer las superficies de

paredes cercanas al aparato.

 ATENCIÓN – Algunas partes de este aparato pueden estar muy calientes y causar quemaduras. Particular atención debe

prestarse en presencia de niños y personas vulnerables.

 Este convector es un dispositivo portátil, no use el equipo si los pies no están correctamente fijados al convector.

 No utilice el convector en exteriores.

 No posicione el equipo sobre alfombras. Asegúrese de que el convector está posicionado en una superficie firme y que no se

posiciona junto a cortinas o muebles, pues podría suponer un riesgo de incendio.

 Siempre desconecte el convector del enchufe cuando vaya a moverlo de un lugar a otro.

 No utilice el convector con un programador o cualquier otro dispositivo que conecte el equipo automáticamente ya que

existe riesgo de incendio si el convector no se encuentra cubierto o posicionado de manera incorrecta.

ES: ADVERTENCIA: Para evitar sobrecalentamientos, no cubrir el aparato de calefacción

2.- MONTAJE DEL CONVECTOR

Antes de usar el convector, se deben colocar las patas, suministradas por separado en la caja. Estas deben

sujetarse a la base del convector usando los 4 tornillos autorroscantes provistos, teniendo cuidado de

asegurarse de que estén ubicados correctamente en los extremos inferiores de las molduras laterales del

calentador.

3.- FUNCIONAMIENTO

Elija una ubicación adecuada para el convector, teniendo en cuenta las instrucciones

de seguridad anteriores.

Inserte la clavija de conexión del convector en un enchufe adecuado (230V/50Hz).

Gire el mando del termostato completamente en el sentido de las agujas del reloj

hasta el ajuste máximo.

Encienda la alimentación por medio del interruptor del termostato en el panel

lateral. Cuando esté encendido, el indicador de encendido se iluminará. Luego

encienda la función de calefacción por medio del interruptor selector de funciones

"I" en el panel lateral. Para obtener la máxima salida de calor, el interruptor selector

debe girarse a la posición "II" de grado más alto. Cuando se haya alcanzado la

temperatura ambiente deseada, la perilla del termostato debe girarse lentamente en

el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj hasta que se escuche que el termostato se

apaga y las luces de los interruptores de los elementos se apaguen.

Después de esto, el convector mantendrá la temperatura del aire en la habitación a

la temperatura establecida encendiéndose y apagándose automáticamente.

Calefactor convector con ventilador (Turbo)

Girando el selector de modo de funcionamiento a la posición de calentamiento rápido , se activa la potencia de 1250 W y

el ventilador en baja velocidad. Para obtener la máxima salida de calor, el selector debe girarse a la posición que activa la

potencia de 2000 W y el ventilador en alta velocidad.

Calefactor convector con temporizador

Este modelo también está equipado con un temporizador de 24 horas

que tiene 96 segmentos alrededor de su circunferencia, cada segmento

equivale a 15 minutos de tiempo. Con la ayuda de este temporizador,

es posible preestablecer el tiempo y la duración de los períodos en los

que se desea que funcione el calentador, en cualquier período de 24

horas.

Uso del temporizador

El centro del temporizador tiene un interruptor deslizante de 3 posiciones.

En la posición central (indicada por el símbolo del reloj), el temporizador encenderá y apagará el calefactor a las horas

establecidas por los segmentos (consulte la configuración del temporizador, a continuación).

La posición indicada por la "I" es una posición de anulación del temporizador. El temporizador continuará funcionando, pero la

energía se alimentará continuamente al calentador. Esto permite que el calentador esté encendido todo el tiempo si es

necesario.

En la posición indicada por la “O”, el temporizador continúa funcionando, pero no se alimenta energía al calentador.

Configuración del temporizador

Asegúrese de que el interruptor deslizante del temporizador esté en la posición media junto al símbolo del reloj.

Gire el anillo exterior del temporizador en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que la hora actual esté alineada con el puntero

de flecha, es decir, si la hora en que se configura el temporizador es a las 8:00 p. m., gire el anillo exterior hasta que el número

20 esté alineado con la flecha. puntero.

Establezca el tiempo que se requiere que funcione el calentador tirando de los segmentos alrededor del anillo exterior hacia

adelante de acuerdo con los períodos de funcionamiento requeridos.

Cuando se configura, el calentador funcionará todos los días durante los horarios programados. Tenga en cuenta que el

calentador siempre debe estar enchufado a una toma de corriente, los interruptores de los elementos deben estar en la

posición de encendido y el termostato debe estar configurado adecuadamente para garantizar que el calentador se encienda.

Si se requiere que el calentador funcione continuamente, el interruptor deslizante del temporizador debe colocarse en la

posición "I".

Si posteriormente se requiere volver a la operación del temporizador, el interruptor deslizante del temporizador debe

colocarse en la posición central (reloj).

Cuando se utilice en modo de temporizador, se debe tener en cuenta el hecho de que el calefactor puede encenderse

sin supervisión.

4.- MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA

Este convector no precisa de ningún tipo de mantenimiento especial, proporcionando confort térmico durante largas temporadas.

Desenchufe siempre el calefactor de la toma de corriente y deje que se enfríe antes de limpiarlo.

Limpie el polvo con un trapo suave y seco, sólo cuando la unidad esté desconectada y fría.

No utilice disolventes ni productos abrasivos.

Cuando el calefactor no se utilice durante largos períodos de tiempo, debe protegerse del polvo y almacenarse en un lugar limpio

y seco.

Este equipo ha sido fabricado dentro de un sistema de calidad asegurada y conforme a procesos respetuosos con el

medio ambiente. Una vez finalizada la vida útil del aparato, llévelo a un punto limpio para que sus materiales puedan ser

reciclados de forma adecuada.

 The warranty of the heater will not cover any damage caused by non-observance of any of these instructions. The instructions

should be retained for future reference. This guide must be kept and given to any new owner.

 This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the

appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user

maintenance must not be made by children without supervision.

 Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or

installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

 Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

 The use of panel heaters is forbidden in any area where there is a presence of gases, explosives or inflammable objects.

 Do not use this heater to dry clothes. Do not cover this heater or put objects in contact with it.

 Neither the connecting cable nor any other object must come into contact with the hot unit.

 Do not cover this heater at any time.

 The air outlet at the top of the thermal radiator and the air inlet at the bottom are provided to ensure the most efficient

operation of the appliance. They also protect the heater from overheating; therefore, it is essential that at no time are they

covered.

 This heater should be switched off at the isolating switch before any repair work is carried out.

 The heater should not be used just below an electrical socket.

 The appliance must be used in such a way that it is impossible for anyone using a bath or shower, to touch the controls.

 The heater is fitted with a flexible cable size 3 x 1.00 mm² for electrical connection. It may be used to connect the heater to the

fixed wiring of the premised through a suitable connection box positioned adjacent to the heater.

 If the flexible power cable for this unit is damaged, it may only be replaced by a repair workshop recognised by the

manufacturer, as special tools are necessary.

 This appliance must be earthed.

 All models are supplied with an electrical interrupt cut-out. This will switch off the heater if, for any reason, it overheats. Should

the cut-out operate, turn the heater off and remove the cause for the overheating. The cut-out will be reset automatically.

 The presence of air particles of smoke, dust and other pollutants could, in time, discolour the walls and surfaces around the

heater.

 CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention must be given when

children and vulnerable people are present.

 This appliance is a portable heater. Do not use the heater unless the feet are correctly attached.

 Do not use outdoors.

 Do not place the heater on carpets having a very deep pile.

 Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level surface. Ensure that the heater is not positioned close to curtains or

furniture as this could represent a fire hazard.

 Always unplug the heater when moving it from one location to another.

 Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire

hazard exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.

2.- ASSEMBLY OF THE HEATER

Before using the heater, the feet (supplied separately in the carton), must be fitted to the unit. These are

to be attached to the base of the heater using the 4 self-tapping screws provided, taking care to ensure

that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side moldings.

3.- USING THE HEATER

Choose a suitable location for the heater, taking into account the safety

instructions above.

Insert the plug of the heater into a suitable socket (230V/50Hz).

Turn the thermostat knob fully in a clockwise direction to the maximum setting.

Turn on the power by means of the thermostat switch on the side panel. When

the power is on, the power indicator will light up. Then turn on the heating

function by means of the function selector switch "I" on the side panel. For

maximum heat output the selector switch should be turned to the most high-

grade "II". When the desired room temperature has been reached, the

thermostat knob should be turned slowly anti-clockwise until the thermostat is

heard to click off and the lights on the element switches are seen to go out.

After this the heater will keep the air temperature in the room at the set

temperature by switching on and off automatically.

Convector heater with fan (Turbo for fast-heating)

When the selector switch is turned to the low-speed position, there is an air outlet on the side panel, the heating low-

grade also turn on the fan. For maximum heat output the selector switch should be turned to the most high-speed the

heating high-speed also turn on the fan.

Convector heater with Timer

This model is also fitted with a 24hr timer which has 96 segments

around its circumference, each segment being equivalent to 15

minutes of time. With the aid of this timer it is possible to preset

the time and duration of the period(s) that it is desired the heater

will operate, in any 24hr period.

Timer Operation

The centre of the timer has a 3-position slide switch.

In the central position (denoted by the clock symbol) the timer will

switch the heater on and off at times set by the segments, (see

setting the timer, below).

The position denoted by the “I”, is a timer override position. The

timer will continue to run but power will be fed continuously to

the heater. This enables the heater to be on all the time if

required.

In the position denoted by the “O”, the timer continues to run but no power is fed to the heater.

Setting the Timer

Ensure the slide switch on the timer is at the mid position next to the clock symbol.

Rotate the outer ring of the timer in a clockwise direction until the current time is lined up with the arrow pointer, i.e. if the

time the timer is being set is 8 p.m., rotate the outer ring until the number 20 is in line with the arrow pointer.

Set the time the heater is required to run by pulling the segments around the outer ring forward appropriate to the running

period(s) required.

When set, the heater will operate each day during the times programmed. Note, the heater must always be plugged into a

power socket, the element switches must be in the on position and the thermostat must be suitably set to ensure the heater

will come on.

If the heater is required to run continuously the slide switch on the timer should be set to the “I” position.

If it is subsequently required to revert back to timer operation, the slide switch on the timer should be set to the central (clock)

position.

When using in timer mode, due consideration should be given to the fact that the heater may come on whilst

unattended.

4.- CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The panel heaters do not precise any special maintenance providing thermal comfort during large periods.

Always un-plug the heater from the wall socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning.

Clean dust with a dry, soft cloth only when the unit is disconnected and cold.

Do not use solvents or abrasive products for cleaning.

When the heater is not used for long periods of time it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean dry place.

This panel heater has been manufactured under an assured quality system using environment friendly processes.

Please take the panel heaters to a clean point once their useful life is finished, in order to recycle their materials in the

right way.
