5. Never operate this appliance if it has a
damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly or if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. Return the
appliance to an authorized service center for
examination and repair.
6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Never use while sleeping.
8. Never drop or insert any object into any
opening or hose.
9. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol
(spray) products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.
10. Unit is hot when in use. Do not let heated
surfaces touch eyes or skin.
11. Do not place the heated unit directly on
any surface while it is hot or plugged in.
12. Never block the air openings of the appli-
ance or place on a soft surface, such as a
bed or couch, where the air openings may be
blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair
and other debris.
13. Do not use an extension cord with this
appliance.
14. Do not touch hot surfaces of the
appliance. Use handles or knobs.
15. Before plugging in, read the information
about single voltage contained in the Operating
Instructions section of this manual.
16. Do not attempt to touch the housing of your
appliance near the straightening plates, as it is
hot when in use.
17. Do not operate with a voltage converter.

INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fi t in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fi t fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fi t, contact a qualifi ed
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
SINGLE VOLTAGE
This fl at iron is intended for household use. Use
on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only. This unit is
designed to be operated at 120 volts AC.
STRAIGHTENING BASICS
Plug the fl at iron cord into any household
outlet (120V). Slide switch to ON setting. Red
light will light up. To turn off, press slide switch
to OFF position. Never leave your fl at iron on
and unattended.
WARNING: The flat iron’s tourmaline
ceramic-coated plates will get very hot
within a few seconds and should not be
placed in contact with the skin after the flat
iron has been turned on.
Start with a hair section that is 2 inches (5cm)
wide and no more than ½ inch (1.25cm) thick.
Open the iron and place a hair section between
the two hot plates, close to the scalp. Trap hair
between the plates by fi rmly squeezing the
handles together. While maintaining the tension,
slowly pull the iron down along the hair section
toward the end. At the end of hair section,
release the pressure on the handle and allow
the hair to slide out. Repeat the process on
additional sections of hair until you achieve the
hairstyle you desire. It may be necessary to
repeat the process on certain areas, depending
on the texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning to
use this fl at iron. After using the iron several
times, you will learn the ideal way to straighten
and style your hair easily.
NOTE: Do not use this styling appliance on
hair extensions.

DE OPERACIÓN
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha que
la otra). Como medida de seguridad, se podrá
enchufar de una sola manera en la toma de
corriente polarizada. Si no entrara en la toma
de corriente, inviértala. Si aún no entrara
completamente, comuníquese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
función de seguridad.
VOLTAJE ÚNICO
Para uso doméstico solamente. Utilícelo
solamente con corriente alterna (60 Hz). Este
aparato ha sido diseñado para funcionar con
corriente de 120 V AC.
FUNDAMENTOS DEL ALISADO
Conecte el aparato a una toma de corriente de
120V. Deslice el botón de encendido/apagado
hacia “ON”. El indicador luminoso rojo se
encenderá. Para apagar el aparato, deslice el
botón de encendido/apagado hacia “OFF”. Nunca
descuide ni abandone el aparato después de
encenderlo.
ADVERTENCIA: las placas se volverán
extremadamente calientes en segundos; evite
el contacto con la piel después de encender el
aparato.
Divida el cabello en secciones de 2 pulgadas
(5cm) de ancho por ½ pulgada (1.5cm) o menos
de espesor. Abra las placas y coloque una
sección de cabello entre ellas, cerca
del cuero cabelludo. Cierre las placas. Baje
la plancha lentamente hasta las puntas,
manteniendo las placas bien cerradas. Suelte el
cabello tras llegar a las puntas. Repita el proceso
con cada sección de cabello, hasta conseguir el
estilo deseado. Según la textura del cabello,
puede que sea necesario repetir
el proceso varias veces en cada sección.
Será necesario experimentar un poco al
principio. Con práctica, encontrará la manera
perfecta para alisar su cabello fácil y
rápidamente.
NOTA: no utilice este aparato sobre cabello
sintético/extensiones.
REVESTIMIENTO DE
CERÁMICA/TURMALINA
Las placas de su nueva plancha alisadora están
dotadas de un revestimiento de cerámica/
turmalina, un material muy suave que
proporciona un deslizamiento más fácil, facilita
el peinado y logra resultados profesionales.
El revestimiento de cerámica/turmalina ofrece
excelentes resultados. Sus propiedades únicas
dejan el cabello más brillante y con una
apariencia más saludable. La turmalina genera
calor infrarrojo para evitar los daños al cabello
y emite iones negativos para reducir el frizz
y la estática y realzar la vitalidad del cabello.
La cerámica también genera calor infrarrojo
lejano y distribuye el calor uniformemente
para proteger el cabello. El revestimiento de
cerámica/turmalina ayudará a mantener
su cabello saludable y brillante, sin frizz.
PLACAS FLOTANTES CON REVESTIMIENTO

Esta plancha alisadora está equipada con placas
“flotantes” que aseguran un mejor contacto con
el cabello y produce resultados más lisos. El
revestimiento de cerámica de deslizamiento fácil

aparatos de peluquería. La cerámica distribuye el
calor uniformemente y deja el cabello sedoso,
