Please read and understand all safety precautions and instructions in this manual before you begin the installation of this product.
WARNING
Risk of hazardous gases. If the new toilet is not installed immediately, temporarily plug the floor flange
hole with a towel (or cover) to block sewer gases from escaping.
CAUTION
Handle with care. Vitreous chinaware is glass-like with sharp edges if broken. Do not drop, handle roughly,
or overtighten the bolts.
NOTE
Observe local plumbing and building codes.

REMOVING THE OLD TOILET
1. Turn o the water supply to the toilet and flush the tank completely. Towel or sponge any remaining water from the
tank and bowl.
2. Disconnect and remove the old water supply lines.
3. Remove the tank from the bowl by removing the old tank-to-bowl hardware.
4. Remove the bowl from the floor by removing the bolt caps and floor bolt nuts.
5. Remove the floor bolts from the toilet flange and clean old wax, putty, and sealant from the base area. (Temporarily
plug the floor flange with a towel or cover to block sewer gases from escaping.)
NOTE
Ensure that the mounting surface is clean and level before the new toilet is installed.

WARNING
DO NOT USE IN-TANK CLEANERS. Products containing chlorine (calcium hypochlorite) can seriously damage tank fittings
potentially causing leaks, excessive water use, and property damage. The manufacturer shall not be responsible or liable
for any tank fitting damage caused by the use of cleaners containing chlorine (calcium hypochlorite).
NOTE
Improper care may cause the warranty to become invalid.
1. When cleaning your toilet and toilet seat, wash it with mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and
dry with a soft cloth.
2. Avoid detergents, disinfectants, or cleaning products in aerosol cans. NEVER use abrasive scouring powders on
your toilet or toilet seat.
3. Some bathroom chemicals and cosmetics may cause damage to the toilet seat’s finish, so test your cleaning
solution on an inconspicuous area before applying to the entire surface.
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
The toilet is flushing poorly, and the water level is
below the water line mark.
1. The shut-o valve may not be completely open.
Verify that the the shut-o valve opens fully.
2. Ensure the water supply line is not twisted.
3. The floater cup of the fill valve may be obstructed.
Adjust the fill valve to allow free movement.
Water is continuously running.
1. Water may continuously run if the flush seal is not
completely closed. Check to see if there is any
obstruction in the flush seal.
2. The push button rods may be too long. Shorten the
rods by loosening the lock nuts, adjusting the rods to
the proper length and tightening the lock nuts.
When installed the push button rods should just touch
the flush valve buttons without depressing them.
CARE & CLEANING
TROUBLESHOOTING
1: INSTALLING THE FLOOR BOLTS
1. Insert new floor bolts (E) into the slots on the toilet flange (1) (not
included) with the bolt heads down and threaded ends facing up.
Use plastic retaining washers (F) to hold the bolts (E) in a full-length,
upright position.
2. Floor bolts (E) should be parallel to the wall and 6 in. apart.
1. Turn the toilet (A) on its side onto a towel or cushioned surface.
2. With the rounded (tapered) end of the ring facing the toilet, place
the wax ring (D) around the raised outlet ring of the base (A), and
press firmly enough so the wax ring (D) adheres to the base (A).
CAUTION
Do not rock the bowl back-and-forth, as this may break the seal.
1. Unplug the waste opening in the toilet flange (1).
2. Gently place the toilet (A) (right side up) in position with the floor
bolts (E) protruding up through the holes in the base of the toilet
(A). Level the toilet (A) as it is lowered onto the toilet flange (1).
3. Once the toilet (A) is in position, press down with a slight twisting
motion on the top center of the bowl (A) and eventually apply full
body weight to evenly compress the wax ring (D). This creates a
water-tight seal.
4. Ensure the toilet bowl (A) is as level as possible. It may be necessary
to use small wedges (shims) under the edge of the toilet due to
slight variations in vitreous chinaware or uneven oors.
IMPORTANT: The toilet (A) should be firmly seated on the floor, so it
does not wobble or rock.

CAUTION
Do not overtighten the hex nuts (G), as vitreous china can easily
crack or chip.
1. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the preassembled screws (1)
from the dual ush push button (C). Removing the screws (1) will
free the U-locking piece (2) from the dual flush push button (C).
2. Insert the dual flush push button (C) into the top of the tank lid (3)
with the half flush above the coloured button in the tank. Screw
the U-locking piece (2) back into the dual flush push button (C)
using the screws (1) to secure it on the tank lid (3).
3. Replace the tank lid (3) on the toilet (A).
Connect the water supply line (not included) between the tank (A)
and shut-o valve. Tighten the tank connection coupling nut ¼ turn
beyond hand tight. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE TANK CONNECTION.
Turn on the supply valve and allow the tank (A) to fill.
Check for leakage at all connections and tighten or correct as needed.
Place the toilet seat bolt (I) through the hole (1) on the toilet seat (C).
Position the toilet seat (C) in the desired position, and tighten the
toilet seat bolt (I) from above with a Flathead screwdriver.
Cover the tightened bolt with the decorative cap (2).
Repeat this procedure to secure the other side of the toilet seat (B).

Place the metal washers (H), and hex nuts (G) on the floor bolts (E).
Alternately tighten the nuts (G) until the toilet (A) is firmly seated on
the floor.
Pour water into the toilet bowl (A) to prevent the escape of sewer gases.
Place the side caps (I) on the toilet (A) and press in for a secure t.

as the original consumer purchaser owns their home.

CÓMO DESMONTAR EL INODORO ANTIGUO
1. Cierra el suministro de agua al inodoro y descarga completamente el tanque. Limpia con una toalla o esponja
cualquier resto de agua que quede en el tanque y en la taza.
2. Desconecta y retira las viejas líneas de suministro de agua.
3. Retira el tanque de la taza, sacando los herrajes viejos que van del tanque a la taza.
4. Retira el tanque del piso, sacando las tapas de pernos y las tuercas de los pernos del piso
5. Retira los pernos del piso de la brida del inodoro y limpia la cera, la masilla y el sellador viejos del área de la
base. (Tapa temporalmente la brida del piso con una toalla o cubierta para impedir que escapen los gases del
alcantarillado).
NOTA
Asegúrate de que la supercie de montaje esté limpia y nivelada antes de instalar el inodoro nuevo.

ADVERTENCIA
NO USES LIMPIADORES DENTRO DEL TANQUE. Los productos que contienen cloro (hipoclorito de calcio) pueden dañar
seriamente las conexiones del tanque y pueden causar ltraciones, consumo excesivo de agua y daños a la propiedad.
El fabricante no será responsable de ningún daño a las conexiones de tanque causado por usar limpiadores que
contengan cloro (hipoclorito de calcio).
NOTA
Un cuidado inapropiado invalidará la garantía.
1. Al limpiar el inodoro o su asiento, lávalo con agua jabonosa suave. Enjuaga bien con agua limpia y seca con un paño suave.
2. Evita usar detergentes, desinfectantes o productos de limpieza en latas de aerosol. NUNCA uses polvos pulidores
abrasivos en tu inodoro ni en el asiento de este.
3. Algunos productos químicos y cosméticos de baño pueden causar daños al acabado del asiento del inodoro, así que
prueba tu solución limpiadora en un área oculta antes de aplicarla a toda la supercie.
PROBLEMA
SOLUCIÓN
El inodoro no descarga bien y el nivel del agua está
por debajo de la marca prejada.
1. La válvula de cierre pudiera no estar completamente abierta.
Verica que la válvula de cierre esté completamente abierta.
2. La línea de suministro de agua no esté torcida ni doblada
3. El otador de la válvula de llenado pudiera estar obstruido.
Ajusta la válvula de llenado para permitir libre movimiento.
El agua corre constantemente.
1. El agua puede correr constantemente si el sello de descarga
no está completamente cerrado. Verica si hay alguna
obstrucción en el sello de descarga.
2. Las varillas del botón a presión pueden ser muy largas.
Acorta las varillas aojando las tuercas de seguridad;
enseguida ajusta las varillas a la medida adecuada y
aprieta de nuevo las tuercas de seguridad. Al estar
instaladas, las varillas del botón a presión sólo deben tocar
los botones de la válvula de descarga, sin presionarlos.
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
1: CÓMO INSTALAR LOS PERNOS
1. Inserta nuevos pernos de piso (E) en las ranuras de la brida del
inodoro (1) (no incluida) con las cabezas de los pernos hacia abajo
y los extremos roscados hacia arriba.
Usa arandelas plásticas de retención (F) para sostener los pernos (E)
en posición vertical a todo lo largo.
2. Los pernos de piso (E) deben quedar paralelos a la pared y
separados entre sí por 15.2 cm.
1. Coloca el inodoro (A) de lado sobre una toalla o supercie
acolchada.
2. Con el extremo redondeado (ahusado) del anillo apuntando hacia
el inodoro, coloca el anillo de cera (D) alrededor del aro elevado de
salida de la base (A) y presiónalo con suciente rmeza como para
que el anillo de cera (D) se adhiera a la base (A).
PRECAUCIÓN
No balancees la taza hacia adelante y atrás, ya que puede
romperse el sello.
1. Desconecta la abertura para desechos de la brida del inodoro (1).
2. Coloca cuidadosamente el inodoro (A) (con el lado derecho hacia
arriba) de manera que los pernos del piso (E) se asomen a través de
los oricios de la base de la taza del inodoro (A). Nivela el inodoro
(A) a medida que es bajado hasta la brida del inodoro (1).
3. Una vez que el inodoro (A) esté en su lugar, presiona girando
ligeramente sobre el centro de la taza (A) y aplica eventualmente
todo el peso de tu cuerpo para comprimir uniformemente el anillo
de cera (D). Esto crea un sello hermético.
4. Asegúrate de que la taza del inodoro (A) esté tan nivelada como
sea posible. Podría ser necesario usar pequeñas cuñas debajo del
borde del inodoro debido a ligeras variaciones en la vitrocerámica
o en los pisos poco nivelados.
IMPORTANTE: El inodoro (A) debe asentarse rmemente sobre el piso
para que no se balancee ni se sacuda.

PRECAUCIÓN
No aprietes demasiado las tuercas hexagonales (G), porque la
vitrocerámica I se agrieta y astilla muy fácilmente.
1. Con un destornillador de cabeza plana, quita los tornillos
preensamblados (1) del botón a presión de descarga doble (C). Al
quitar los tornillos (1) liberará la pieza de cierre en forma de U (2)
del botón de descarga dual (C).
2. Inserta el botón de descarga dual (C) en la parte superior de la tapa
(3) del tanque con la parte de media descarga más arriba del botón
coloreado en el tanque. Enrosca la pieza de cierre en forma de U de
vuelta en el botón de descarga doble (C) usando los tornillos (1)
para asegurarla a la tapa del tanque (3).
3. Vuelve a colocar la tapa del tanque (3) sobre el inodoro (A).
Conecta la línea de suministro de agua (no incluida) entre el tanque
(A) y la válvula de cierre. Aprieta la tuerca de acople de conexión del
tanque con un cuarto de vuelta adicional después de apretar con la
mano. NO APRIETES DEMASIADO LA CONEXIÓN DEL TANQUE.
Abre la válvula de suministro y deja que el tanque (A) se llene.
Revisa que no haya ltración en ninguna de las conexiones y aprieta o
rectica como corresponda.
Coloca el perno del asiento del inodoro (I) a través del oricio (1) en
el asiento (C).
Coloca el asiento del inodoro (C) en la posición deseada y aprieta el
perno del asiento (I) desde arriba con un destornillador de cabeza
plana.
Cubre el perno ajustado con la tapa decorativa (2).
Repite este procedimiento para asegurar el otro lado del asiento del
inodoro (B).

Coloca las arandelas de metal (H) y las tuercas hexagonales (G) sobre
los pernos del piso (E). Aprieta alternadamente las tuercas (G) hasta
que el inodoro (A) se asiente de manera rme en el piso.
Vierte agua en la taza del inodoro (A) para evitar que escapen los
gases del alcantarillado.
Coloca las tapas laterales (I) en el inodoro (A) y presiona bien hacia
adentro para ajustarlo de manera segura.
