Intended Use
The hair dryer is intended to be used for drying and
styling your hair. Do not use the hair dryer to dry ar-
tificial hair. The hair dryer is only intended for private
use, not for commercial purposes. Any use other
than that described here or any product modifica-
tion is prohibited and can result in injury and / or
damage the hair dryer. The manufacturer accepts

ALWAYS CHECK THE ALCI
SAFETY FEATURE BEFORE
USING THE HAIR DRYER!
This hair dryer is equipped with
an Appliance Leakage Circuit In-
terrupter (ALCI) - a safety feature
that renders it inoperable under
some abnormal conditions, such
as immersion in water.
To make sure the ALCI is function-
ing properly, perform the follow-
ing test with 60 Hz frequency
1. Plug in hair dryer and press test
button on plug.
2.
Hair dryer will stop working. Th
ere
will be an audible click and a
reset button will pop out.
3. To reset ALCI with a reset button,
unit should be unplugged, then
push reset button in, and reinsert
plug into outlet.
4. If ALCI is not functioning properly,
discard or return to a service cen-
ter for examination and repair.
5. It is important that if broken, im-
mersion, or similar occurs, this
unit must be brought to a service
center, do not try to reset.
The purpose of this test is to allow
you to make sure the ALCI is
working.

Before Use
Stand on a dry, non-conductive floor.
Ensure your hands are dry.
Dry your hair with a hand towel before use.
Note: Depending on the switch setting and duration
of use, the styling nozzle 1, the diffuser 12 and
the hair dryer can become very hot.
There is the risk of fire and burns!
Do not touch the styling nozzle 1.
Note: Ensure that no flammable liquids are located
in the proximity of the hair dryer.
Note: Ensure that no hair can be directly drawn in.
Use
Note: When using the hair dryer for the first time
you may notice a slight smell, which will however
disappear after a short time.
Note: For your safety, the hair dryer switches off
automatically if it overheats. Unplug the power cord
from the outlet and allow it to cool down. Before you
switch it on again, check the air inlet openings 3,
the air outlet opening 2 and the filters 5, 5 a for
any blockages (e.g. sucked-in lint, dust, hair).
Switching on:
Pull out the power cord 6 from the cable reel
and plug it into the outlet.
Switch on the hair dryer by pressing the speed
switch 8. Choose between:

Use the heat switch 9 to select the desired
heat setting.

Dry and / or style your hair however you wish.
Switching off:
Switch off the hair dryer by setting the speed
switch 8 to position “0“.
Cool shot function:
The cool shot function is designed for final styling.
It cools your hair down and sets it for better results.
Press the speed switch 6 to switch on the hair
dryer.
Activate the cool shot function by keeping the
cold air button 10 pressed.
Release the cold air button 10 again to
return to the previously selected heat setting.
Ionizing function:
This hair dryer features an integrated ionizing functio
n.
When drying hair with a hair dryer, it may sometimes
become static and begin to ‘fly away’.
The ionizing function neutralizes and eliminates static
electricity in the hair. The hair will be soft, smooth,
shiny and easier to style.
Note: To achieve the best results with the ionizing func-
tion, use the hair dryer without attachments 1, 12 .
Drying and styling your hair
To dry your hair quickly, briefly switch the hair
dryer to a higher speed and heat setting. After
drying your hair, switch the hair dryer to a
lower speed heat setting to style your hair.
You can use the included styling nozzle 1 to
aim the airflow in the required direction for styl-
ing. Attach the styling nozzle 1 to the hair
dryer so that it clicks into place and fits securely.
Use the diffuser 12 for more gentle drying or to
make waves. To do so, first remove the styling
nozzle 1 and attach the diffuser 12 to the hair
dryer so that it clicks into place and fits securely.
Before you comb your hair, allow it to cool
down briefly so the hair does not lose its style.
You can use the cold air button 10 or level
I of the heat settings 9 to cool your hair.
After Use
Note: Keep the appliance in a dry location and
out of the reach of children.
Note: Use the hanging loop 7 to hang the hair
dryer from a hook.
Unplug the cord from the power outlet after
every use.
Allow the hair dryer to cool down.
Press the retract button 4 to retract the
cord. Keep the power cord 6 from twisting.
RISK OF INJURY! The power
cord 6 retracts very quickly. Guide the power
cord 6 with the other hand to avoid injuries.

Do not clean the hair dryer with flammable
liquids.
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaners.
Clean the outside of the hair dryer and the
accessories with a soft cloth, which has been
slightly dampened with warm water.
Use tweezers or a brush to remove any lint, dust
and hair from the air outlet opening 2, the air
inlet openings 3 and the filter 5, 5 a before
every use.
Remove the filter 5, 5 a from the hair dryer, if
necessary. To do this you can either remove the
inner filter

upwards and then remove the filt

from front to back, or remove both filters 5, 5 a
together from front to back.

Insert the filters 5 onto the hair dryer so the
tabs lock into the notches on the hair dryer
housing.
Place the filter 5 a onto the filter 5, until it
snaps into place.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging through your
local recycling facilities and in compli-
ance with all federal, state and local
regulations.

What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
· Normal wear and tear of the product, including
fragile parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);
· Improper use or transport;
· Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
· Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire,
water, etc.);
· Tampering with the product (such as removing
cover, unscrewing screws etc.).
Consequential and incidental damages are also
not covered under this warranty. However, some
states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of in-
cidental or consequential damages, so this limitation

INSTALE UN GFCI! Un electri-
cista puede ayudarlo a decidir
qué tipo es mejor para usted: una
unidad portátil que se conecta en

Para asegurarse de que el ALCI
está funcionando correctamente,
realice la siguiente prueba en la
frecuencia de 60 Hz.
1. Conecte la secadora de pelo y
presione el botón de prueba
amarillo en el enchufe.
2. La secadora de pelo debe dejar
de funcionar. Sonará un clic,
presione el botón de restableci-
miento y vuelva a conectarla en
la toma de corriente.
3. Para restablecer un ALCI con un
botón de restablecimiento, la uni-
dad se debe desconectar, pre-
sionar el botón rojo y reinsertar el
enchufe en la toma de corriente.
4. Si el ALCI no está funcionando
correctamente, deseche la unidad
o envíela a un centro de servicio
para que la revisen y reparen.
5. Es importante que si la unidad
se rompe, se sumerge en agua
o algo similar ocurre, se lleve la
unidad a un centro de servicio,
no trate de restablecerla.
La finalidad de esta prueba es
permitirle que esté seguro de
que el ALCI está funcionando.
GUARDE ESTAS
INSTRUCCIONES
Antes de usar
Párese en un piso seco y no conductor.
Asegúrese de que sus manos estén secas.
Seque su pelo antes con una toalla.
Nota: dependiendo del ajuste del interruptor y la
duración de uso, la boquilla para estilización 1,
el difusor 12 y la secadora de pelo pueden calen-
tarse mucho.

No toque la boquilla para estilización 1.
Nota: asegúrese de que no haya líquidos inflama-
ble cerca de la secadora de pelo.
Nota: asegúrese de que no haya pelo que pueda
ser succionado directamente.
Operación
Nota: si la secadora de pelo se usa por primera
vez, puede notar un ligero aroma, que no obstante
desaparecerá de un breve tiempo.
Nota: la secadora de pelo se apaga automática-
mente por su seguridad si se sobrecalienta. Retire
el enchufe de alimentación de la toma de corriente
y deje que la secadora de pelo se enfríe. Antes de
encenderla nuevamente, verifique que las aberturas
de entrada de aire 3, la abertura de salida de
aire 2 y los filtros 5, 5 a no estén bloqueados
(p. ej. pelusa, polvo, pelo acumulado).
Encendido:
Jale el cable de alimentación 6 del carrete
para el cable y conéctelo a la toma de corriente.
Encienda la secadora de pelo presionando el
interruptor a los niveles de ventilador 8. Elija
entre lo siguiente:

Seque o estilice su cabello como lo desee.
Apagado:
Apague la secadora de pelo colocando el in-
terruptor para los niveles de ventilador 8 en
la posición “0“.
Función de aire frío:
La función de aire frío está diseñada para el estili-
zado final. Esta función enfría el pelo y la fija para
un mejor resultado.
Encienda la secadora de pelo presionando el
interruptor para los niveles de ventilador 6.
Active la función de aire frío manteniendo
presionado el botón para aire frío 10 .
Libere el botón para aire frío 10 nuevamente
para regresar al nivel de calor previamente se-
leccionado.
Función de ionización:
Esta secadora de pelo cuenta con una función inte-
grada de ionización. Mientras el pelo está siendo
secado con una secadora de pelo, a veces puede
volverse estático y empezar a despeinarse.

a función de ionización garantiza que la electricida
d
estática en el pelo se neutralice y sea eliminada. El
pelo quedará suave, terso, brillante y fácil de manejar.
Nota: para lograr mejores resultados con la función
de ionización, use la secadora de pelo sin acceso-
rios 1, 12 .
Secar y estilizar su cabello
Para secar rápidamente su cabello, ajuste la
secadora de pelo a un flujo de aire y de calen-
tamiento más altos durante un periodo más
corto de tiempo. Después de sacar su cabello,
ajuste la secadora de pelo a un nivel de flujo
de aire y de calor más bajos para estilizar su
cabello.
Puede usar la boquilla para estilización 1
que se proporciona para dirigir el flujo de aire
en la dirección deseada para estilizar. Coloque
la boquilla para estilización 1 en la parte su-
perior de la secadora de pelo hasta que encaje
con un clic y esté fijada de forma segura.
Si desea secar su cabello de una forma que no
sea demasiado intensa o para “permanentes
con aire“, use el difusor 12 . Para estos fines,
primero retire la boquilla para estilización 1
y coloque el difusor 12 en ella hasta que en-
caje con un clic y esté fijado de forma segura.
Antes de peinar su cabello, deje que se enfríe
durante un periodo breve de tiempo para que
el peinado permanezca igual.
Para enfriar el cabello, puede usar el botón
para aire frío 10 o nivel I de los niveles de
calor 9.
Después de usar
Nota: conserve el aparato en un lugar seco y fuera
del alcance de los niños.
Nota: puede colgar la secadora de pelo del asa
para colgarlo 7 en un gancho.
Retire el enchufe de alimentación de la toma
de corriente después de cada uso.
Deje que la secadora de pelo se enfríe.
Retire el cable presionando el botón de ali-
mentación de cable 4. Asegúrese de que el
cable de alimentación 6 no esté torcido.

El cable de alimentación 6 se inserta en la

Limpie la secadora de pelo solo de la forma in-
dicada. Por ningún motivo debe entrar líquido

inflamables.
No use limpiadores corrosivos o abrasivos.
Limpie la carcasa de la secadora de pelo y los
accesorios con con un trapo suave ligeramente
humedecido con agua tibia.
Retire la pelusa, polvo o pelo acumulado en la
abertura de salida de aire 2, las aberturas
de entrada de aire 3 y el filtro 5, 5 a con
una pinzas o una brocha antes de cada uso.
Retire el filtro 5, 5 a de la secadora de pelo
de ser necesario. Para hacerlo, puede retirar el
filtro interno 5 a hacia arriba y luego retirar el
filtro de adelante hacia atrás o retirar ambos
filtro 5, 5 a juntos de adelante hacia atrás.
