TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this product to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. This
warranty only applies to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. The manufacturer’s only obligation
and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been
damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modification, alternation, neglect, or mishandling. Proof of purchase and evidence of manufacturer’s
date coding must accompany all warranty claims. Manufacturer’s date coding is printed and adhered to each product.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not apply to products that are found to have been improperly installed, set-up, or used in any way not in accordance with the
instructions supplied with the product. This warranty does not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence,
alteration, or faulty installation. Batteries supplied with this product are not included in this warranty. This warranty shall not apply to the finish on
any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear. The manufacturer does not warrant and
specially disclaims any warranty, whether express or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose, other than the warranty contained herein. This
warranty does not cover consequential or incidental loss or damage, including but not limited to any labor/expense costs involved in the
replacement or repair of the product.

Pre-Installation
PLANNING INSTALLATION
Ensure the mounting location for your solar stake light allows the solar panel to receive direct sunlight. Do not locate the product in shaded areas as
this will significantly reduce performance.
Position the solar stake light such that during evening hours the ambient light from other light sources does not affect the photosensor built into the
solar panel. High ambient light levels can cause the lamp to turn off during evening hours.

NOTE: The solar light is equipped with a photosensor that turns
the unit on at dusk and off at dawn. Ambient light can affect the
operation of the photosensor.

Installation
IMPORTANT: Prior to use, remove the battery isolator tag (G)
inserted in the battery compartment and allow to charge a full
sunny day.
NOTE: Do not use a hammer. If the ground is hard, use water to
soften.
□ Rotate counterclockwise and remove the lamp housing (C) and the glass shade (B) from the top cap (A) respectively.
□ Remove the battery isolator tag (G) inserted in the battery compartment.
□ Replace the glass shade (B) and the lamp housing (C) to the top cap (A) respectively.
□ Insert the ground stake (E) firmly into the ground at the installation location. If the ground is too hard, soak the ground with water to soften
the ground or drive a metal rod or screwdriver into the ground to create a hole for the ground stake assembly.
□ Screw the upper straight pole (D) to the pole end of the lamp housing assembly (C).
□ Screw the lower straight pole (D) to the upper straight pole (D).
□ Insert the pole assembly (C & D) into the ground stake (E).

Battery replacement
NOTE: Use one AA size, 900mAh, 1.2V Nickel Metal Hydride
rechargeable battery. For best performance, replace with a Nickel
Metal Hydride rechargeable battery annually.
IMPORTANT: Dispose of the battery in accordance with local,
state, and federal regulations.
IMPORTANT: When storing any solar product for an extended
period of time, remove the batteries. Storing any solar product
without regular recharge or removal of batteries could cause
permanent damage to the rechargeable batteries.
□ Rotate counterclockwise and remove the lamp housing (C) from the top cap (A).
□ Rotate counterclockwise and remove the glass shade (B) from the top cap (A).
□ Remove the battery compartment lid (H) from the battery compartment located on
the back plate of the top cap (A).
□ Remove the old battery (F). Replace with a new AA size, 1.2V Nickel Metal Hydride
rechargeable battery – The recommended replacement battery capacity should be
900~1200mAh.
□ Replace the battery compartment lid (H), and then replace the glass shade (B) and
the lamp housing (C) to the top cap (A) respectively.
Care and Cleaning
Periodic cleaning of the solar panel and glass housing is quick and easy:
□ The solar panel should be cleaned periodically with a damp cloth to help maintain optimum performance.
□ Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives.

Ensure the solar light is located in an area where it can
receive the maximum amount of full, direct sunlight every
day. Keeping the solar panel clean is equally important to
ensure the maximum charging performance.
The battery is reaching the end of its useful life.
Replace the old battery with a Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-
MH) rechargeable battery.
The solar light does not
turn on at night.
Your solar light is inserted with a battery isolator tag in
the battery compartment. This isolator tag must be
removed prior to use.
Prior to use, check that the battery isolator tag has been
removed from the unit and the unit is allowed to charge a
full sunny day.
The solar light is installed close to other light sources,
which may keep the solar light from turning on at night
automatically.
Relocate the fixture or eliminate other light sources.

Preinstalación
CÓMO PLANIFICAR LA INSTALACIÓN
Asegúrate de que el lugar de instalación de tu luz de estaca solar permita que el panel solar reciba luz solar directa. No coloques el producto en
áreas con sombra, ya que esto reducirá el rendimiento de forma significativa.
Coloca la luz de estaca solar de tal forma que durante las horas nocturnas la luz ambiental de otras fuentes de iluminación no afecte el fotosensor
incorporado en el panel solar. Los niveles altos de luz ambiental pueden causar que la lámpara se apague durante las horas nocturnas.

NOTA: La lámpara solar está equipada con un fotosensor que
enciende la unidad al atardecer y la apaga al amanecer. La luz
ambiental puede afectar el funcionamiento del fotosensor.

Instalación
IMPORTANTE: Antes de usar, quita la etiqueta aislante de la
batería (G) insertada en el compartimento correspondiente y
deja que se cargue durante todo un día soleado.
NOTA: No uses un martillo. Si la tierra está dura, usa agua
para ablandarla.
□ Rota en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj y retira la carcasa de la lámpara (C) y la pantalla de vidrio (B) de la tapa superior (A) como
corresponda.
□ Retira la etiqueta aislante de la batería (G) insertada en el compartimento de la batería.
□ Vuelve a colocar la pantalla de vidrio (B) y la carcasa de la lámpara (C) en la tapa superior (A) como corresponda.
□ Inserta la estaca (E) firmemente en la tierra en el lugar de instalación. Si la tierra está demasiado dura, mójala con agua para ablandarla o
hunde una barra de metal o destornillador en la tierra para abrir un orificio para el ensamblaje de la estaca.
□ Enrosca el poste recto superior (D) al extremo de poste del ensamblaje de la carcasa de la lámpara (C).
□ Enrosca el poste recto inferior (D) al poste recto superior (D).
□ Inserta el ensamblaje de los postes (C y D) sobre la estaca para clavar en tierra (E).

Reemplazo de la batería
NOTA: Usa solamente una batería recargable de Níquel e hidruro
metálico, tamaño AA, de 900 mAh y 1.2 V. Para un mejor rendimiento,
reemplaza la batería anualmente con una recargable de níquel e hidruro
metálico.
IMPORTANTE: Desecha la batería conforme con las regulaciones
locales, estatales y federales.
IMPORTANTE: Cuando almacenes cualquier producto solar durante
un período largo, asegúrate de quitar las baterías. Almacenar cualquier
producto solar sin cargarlo regularmente o quitar las baterías puede
dañarlas permanentemente.
□ Rota en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj y retira la carcasa de la lámpara (C) de la
tapa superior (A).
□ Rota en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj y retira la pantalla de vidrio (B) de la tapa
superior (A).
□ Quita la tapa del compartimento de batería (H) del compartimento de batería ubicado en la
placa posterior de la tapa superior (A).
□ Retira la batería vieja (F). Reemplaza con una batería recargable nueva tamaño AA, de 1.2 V
de Níquel e hidruro metálico. La capacidad recomendada de la batería de repuesto debe
ser al menos de 900 a 1200mAh.
□ Vuelve a colocar la tapa del compartimento de la batería (H) y luego la pantalla de vidrio (B)
y la carcasa de la lámpara (C) en la tapa superior (A) como corresponda.
Mantenimiento y limpieza
La limpieza periódica del panel solar y de la carcasa de vidrio es rápida y fácil:
□ El panel solar debe limpiarse periódicamente con un paño húmedo para ayudar a mantener un rendimiento óptimo.
□ No uses limpiadores con químicos, solventes o productos abrasivos.

Ubica la lámpara en otro lugar o elimina las otras fuentes de
luz.
