POWER SUPPLY:
Connect the supplied adapter to the side of the unit in the slot marked “DC 5V IN”. Plug
the two-prong end of the power cord to an AC100-240V outlet. If you have difficulty
inserting the plug, turn it over and reinsert it. If the unit is not used for a long time,
disconnect the plug from the outlet.
NOTE:
Before plugging the power cord into an AC outlet, make sure that all the connections
have been made.

closures or road conditions, traffic congestion, weather conditions, or other factors that

Use the unit only as a navigational aid. Do not attempt to use the unit for any purpose
requiring precise measurement of direction, distance, location, or topography. This
product should not be used to determine ground proximity for aircraft navigation.

1. POWER Button
Press for a longer time to enter or exit the standby mode.
2. Card Slot
Insert the SD card into the slot.
3. Earphone Jack
Used to connect earphones for private listening. When the earphones are
connected to this jack, the speaker will be turned off automatically.
4. DC 5V Input Jack
Used to connect to the supplied adapter.

Press to reset the system.

Always ensure that the unit and any other external device connected to the unit are
switched off and unplugged from the power supply before you attempt to connect
the unit to any external device.
Inserting SD Card
The unit is designed with an SD Card slot which allows you to insert the SD card into the
unit as shown below:
To remove the card, gently press the card in with your fingernail. The card unlocks and
protrudes slightly. You can now remove the card.
Connecting to Earphones
Connect the earphones to the right side of the unit for private listening.
When earphone is connected, the speakers will automatically turn off.
Note: Overly loud volume could damage your hearing. So turn down the volume before
you connect the earphones, and then raise the volume to comfortable level.

Using the AC Adaptor
The unit is supplied with an AC adaptor for powering and charging its battery.
Note:
Turn unit's power off before unplugging.
When using the adaptor, the LCD screen will be brighter than with the
rechargeable battery.
Using of Car Adaptor
The unit is supplied with a Car Adaptor for powering while in a vehicle.
Attention
Place the unit in a proper position for viewing.
Disconnect the unit from the Car Adaptor when starting the vehicle.
Your portable GPS unit comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Please see details in
the following segment.

Working conditions and precautions for the rechargeable battery
Battery should only be used and charged when temperatures are between
32-100F.
Maintain well-ventilated conditions around the product to avoid overheating. Don’t
put the product on a bed, sofa or anything that may block ventilation to the product.
When the battery is weak, an indication menu will appear on the LCD screen and
the unit will power off automatically after a little while.

System Main Menu
When in navigation mode, tap button in the Menu screen. A confirmation message
appears asking if you want to exit the program now, as shown below.
In the confirmation screen, tap
and the system main menu appears.
In the main menu, there are four items for selecting. Touch the corresponding item to
enter.

Tap in the Setup menu to enter Date & Time setting menu for changing to the
current time zone, date and time, as shown below:

Tap in the Setup menu to enter Brightness setting menu for backlight adjusting,

Tap in the Setup menu to enter Volume settings menu for volume adjusting, as
shown below:

Align Screen
Tap in the Setup menu to align the screen, as shown below.
Tap the center of the cross with your finger. When the cross moves to another position,
tap and hold the center of the new target. Repeat each time to complete the calibration
process. When tapping the screen on the final step, the new settings will be stored and
you are returned to the Display menu.

Power
Tap in the Setup menu to enter Power menu, as shown below:
The Power menu displays the unit’s battery status. The values are between 0% and
100%, where 0% means the battery power has run out completely, and 100% represents
a full battery power. When the battery is being charged, the Battery Status will be
“Charging”.

The unit is designed with an SD card slot and supports MP3 and WMA format files
playback. To use the music player, you will need to have an SD card with your MP3
music files preloaded. Please note that you cannot use the navigation function of the
device at the same time you are using the music player. Remove the mapping software
SD card that comes with the device from the SD card slot on the side of the unit. Then
insert your SD card with your MP3 or WMA music files.
Note: Please take care of the mapping SD card if you remove it to use the Music
Player as the navigation function will not work without it.
Warning: For your own safety, do not use the earphones when driving.
A note regarding the music playing function:
The unit has the ability to play your favorite music files. This is accomplished by using
the unit’s SD card slot, located on the right side.
Music files should previously reside on the user’s SD card.
Music files can be imported to the user’s SD card on a PC, using a variety of
programs such as Windows Media Player.
This process should be performed independent of the navigation unit.
Do not attempt to use the unit to read and burn music files from an external source.

When you open the play list, the system will look for audio files on its SD memory card
and create a play list automatically.
If the play list consists of more than one screen, tap the up arrow for the previous page
and the down arrow for the next page.
Tap
/ toggle buttons to determine whether the player will repeat the songs in
the play list or not.

/ toggle buttons to determine whether or not to play the songs in the list
randomly.

to start the playback and return to Music Player, as shown below.

The unit is designed with an SD card slot and supports JPEG format files playback. To
use the Photo Viewer, you will need to have an SD card with your JPEG picture files
preloaded. Please note that you cannot use the navigation function of the device at the
same time you are using the Photo Viewer. Remove the mapping software SD card that
comes with the device from the SD card slot on the side of the unit. Then insert your SD
card with your JPEG picture files.
Note: Please take care of the mapping SD card if you remove it to use the Photo
Viewer as the navigation function will not work without it.
The unit lags when reading high-resolution JPEG files in the SD Card. We suggest
low-resolution (within 640*480) pictures playback.

In the folder menu, double tap the memory card icon, and the photos stored in the
memory card will be listed on the screen.
In the photo list, double tap a photo to play it on the LCD screen. You can also tap a
photo to select it and then tap
to play it.

to enter the Setting menu for setting the Slide Show, as shown below.
You can set the slide show on or off to determine whether or not to play photos in slide
mode.
When the slide show is on, you can set the interval between two photos during slide
show.

When using the unit in vehicle, you can use the supplied mount accessories (mount
bracket, mount cradle and dashboard mount disk) to mount the unit in the vehicle. Take
the following steps to operate:
1. See Fig. 1. Following the arrow, slide the mount cradle onto the mount bracket to
fix it.
2. See Fig. 2. First, set the bottom edge of the unit onto the mount cradle. Then press
the two buttons in arrow ① direction and meanwhile push the mount cradle
forwards to embed it in the unit.
3. See Fig. 3. Lift the suction cup lever and then press the suction cup to the
windshield. Following the arrow ①, press down the suction cup lever. Then rotate
the knob to adjust the unit to proper position.
To mount to dashboard, use the included adhesive disk. Choose a clean, dry spot
on your dashboard, peel off protection liner from the back of the disk, and then
attach the disk to your dashboard.
Warning:
The device must not be mounted so that it impairs the driver’s view of the road. Please
take extra precaution to ensure the airbags are not obstructed by the device.

Take steps described in the tables below to solve simple problems before contacting
customer service.
If you suspect something wrong with this unit, immediately turn the power off and
disconnect the power connector from the unit. Never try to repair the unit yourself
because it is dangerous to do so.

la unidad estén apagados y desenchufados de la fuente de energía antes de

Para insertar la tarjeta SD
La unidad está diseñada con un enchufe para la tarjeta SD que le permite insertar la
tarjeta SD en la unidad como se muestra a continuación:
Para remover la tarjeta, empuje gentilmente la tarjeta hacia adentro con la uña del dedo.
La tarjeta se destraba y se sale levemente de su sitio. Ahora puede retirar la tarjeta.
Para conectar los audífonos
Conecte los audífonos al lado derecho de la unidad para escuchar en privado.
Cuando los audífonos están conectados, el altavoz se apagará automáticamente.
Nota: El volumen excesivamente alto puede lesionar su audición. Así que baje el
volumen antes de conectar sus audífonos y luego aumente el mismo a un nivel acogedor.

Nota:
Apague la unidad antes de desenchufar.
Cuando se utilice el adaptador, la pantalla de LCD será más brillante que con la
batería recargable.
Utilización del adaptador para automóviles
La unidad es suministrada con un adaptador para automóviles para su suministro
eléctrico mientras sea utilizado en un vehículo.
Atención
Coloque la unidad en una posición apropiada para su visualización.
Desconecte la unidad del adaptador para automóviles cuando encienda el
vehículo.
Su unidad portátil GPS viene con una batería empotrada que es recargable. Por favor

Condiciones de funcionamiento y precauciones para la batería
recargable
La batería debe ser utilizada y cargada solamente cuando las temperaturas se
encuentren entre 32 a 100F.
Mantengan las condiciones alrededor del producto bien ventiladas para prevenir el
sobrecalentamiento. No coloque el producto en la cama, sofá o cualquier cosa que
pueda obstruir la ventilación para el producto.
Cuando la batería está débil aparecerá un menú de indicación en la pantalla de
LCD y después de un rato, la unidad se apagará automáticamente.

0% y 100%, en donde 0% significa que se ha agotado completamente la energía de la

brindando carga a la batería, el estado de la batería será “Recargando”.

La unidad está diseñada con una ranura para tarjetas SD y le brinda respaldo a los
archivos de reproducción con los formatos MP3 y WMA. Para utilizar el reproductor de
música se debe tener una tarjeta SD con los archivos de música MP3 ya cargados.
Observe que la función de navegación no puede ser utilizada mientras se use el
reproductor de música. Retire de la ranura de la tarjeta SD ubicada en el lateral de unidad,
la tarjeta de SD con el software de mapas que viene con el dispositivo. Luego inserte su
tarjeta SD con sus archivos de música MP3 o WMA.
Nota: Por favor cuide su tarjeta SD de mapas si usted remueve la misma para
utilizar el reproductor de música, ya que el sistema de navegación no trabajará sin
ésta.
Advertencia: Por su propia seguridad, no use los audífonos mientras conduzca su
automóvil.
Nota con respecto a la función de reproducción de música:
La unidad es capaz de reproducir sus archivos de música favoritos. Esto es logrado
mediante el uso de la ranura de la ranura SD de su unidad, ubicada al lado derecho.
Los archivos de música deben estar primero en la tarjeta SD del usuario.

La unidad está diseñada con una ranura para tarjetas SD y le brinda respaldo a los
archivos de reproducción con el formato JPEG. Para utilizar el visualizador de fotos se
debe tener una tarjeta SD con los archivos de fotos JPEG ya cargados. Observe que la
función de navegación no puede ser utilizada mientras se use el visualizador de fotos.
Retire de la ranura de la tarjeta SD ubicada en el lateral de unidad, la tarjeta de SD con el
software de mapas que viene con el dispositivo. Luego inserte su tarjeta SD con sus
archivos de fotos.
Nota: Por favor cuide su tarjeta SD de mapas si usted remueve la misma para
utilizar el visualizador de fotos, ya que el sistema de navegación no trabajará sin
ésta.
La unidad se demora con lee archivos JPEG de alta resolución en la ranura de la
tarjeta SD. Sugerimos la reproducción de fotos de baja resolución (dentro de
640*480).

Cuando utilice la unidad en el vehículo, puede utilizar los accesorios de montaje
suministrados (soporte para montaje, base para montaje y disco para montaje en el panel
de instrumentos) para montar la unidad en el vehículo. Siga los siguientes pasos para
hacer funcionar:
1. Consulte la Figura 1. De acuerdo a la flecha, deslice la base para el montaje dentro
del soporte para fijarla.
2. Consulte la Figura 2. Primero, fije el borde inferior de la unidad a la base para el
montaje. Luego presione los dos botones en la dirección de la flecha y mientras ①
tanto empuje la base para el montaje hacia delante para insertarlo en la unidad.
3. Consulte la Figura 3. Levante la palanca de la copa de succión y luego presione la
copa de succión contra el parabrisa. De acuerdo a la flecha ①, presione hacia
abajo la palanca de la copa de succión. Luego gire la perilla para ajustar la unidad
a la posición apropiada.
Para montar en el panel de instrumentos, use el disco adhesivo incluido.
Seleccione una zona limpia y seca en su panel de instrumentos, desprenda el
revestimiento de protección de la parte posterior del disco y luego fije el disco a su
panel de instrumentos.
Advertencia:
Este dispositivo no debe ser montado de tal modo que perjudique la visualización del
conductor de la carretera. Por favor tome precauciones adicionales para asegurar que
las bolsas de aire no estén obstruidas por este dispositivo.

Otras posibilidades
La estática u otra interferencia externa pueden causar que la unidad funcione
irregularmente. A fin de recuperar un estado normal, por favor desenchufe el cable de
alimentación y luego enchúfelo nuevamente en el tomacorriente para reinicializar la
